at this point yes, you should uninstall everything migrated, clean and then reinstall properly using the installation files.

I need to save me bookmarks while i de-install then re-install Firefox

I need to save my bookmarks, passwords etc while i de-install then re-install Firefox as it appears to have become corrupted by AVG and won't let me use my own choice of search-engine and defaults to AVG search, even when set to Yahoo.

Thank you very much for that Cor-El - as it goes i had found the back up files by accident (they are in Help > Troubleshooting info > (Application Basics) > Open containing folder) and backed them up on a memory stick but didn't know how to get them back into my freshly re-installed Firefox.
Had literally loads of bookmarks stored, some i use often, others rarely but all are needed so you've been a fantastic help, thanks again!

You can uninstall the software by going to Control Panel > Programs
You can also use the Creative Suite Cleaner tool ( Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 ) to remove the software completely.

Why won't Adobe Presenter trial install?

I downloaded the adobe presenter trial (which took FOREVER) and now it wont install. I have a bran new windows 8 computer

Here is what PDApp showed for today when I tried to open Dreamweaver.
Basically the same message was the same every day since May 7 although I know I've used Adobe Programs since then, especially Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop and InDesign.

Photoshop won't open after re-install of CS 2.0

I had to uninstall and reinstall my Adobe Creative Suites 2.0 and now Photoshop will not open. I am getting an error message that says, "Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information". I looked this message up online and found that this typically means there are files still left from another version that is confusing the program making the serial number (personalization information) not show up on the flash screen upon startup, so the program won't load. I tried downloading the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, but could not find one for CS 2.0, only for the newer versions. The serial number I entered when loading the product is for ALL of the products, and from talking to Adobe's phone support I found out that the individual program serial numbers are encrypted, so I should not have to enter a separate serial number for just Photoshop. All of the other CS 2.0 products open and function just fine. I have NO IDEA where to go from here and, of course, Photoshop is the product I absolutely need to get to as I was working on a project that I really need to complete for a class!! PLEASE HELP!!

The tool didn't exist way back then.
All of the other CS 2.0 products open and function just fine.
Then go to Help --> Deactivate and have the serial erased. Then simply re-activate by inputting your suite serial.

When i open firefox it keeps saying stopped. I have un-installed then re-installed about 10 times in the last 2 weeks

Photoshop Won't Open -- Error Message

My Photoshop CC won't open. It pops up the following error:

I've tried uninstalling and re-installing, but get the same issue.

I actually was able to get this resolved. I had to uninstall BOTH Photoshop AND Creative Cloud, then re-install both. Haven't had the issue since.
I don't know what the problem was in the first place, but it does seem like something was wonky with the recent update.

How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In

Photoshop CS3 (nor CS2) won't launch since CS3 install

Since installing Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium I can no longer open Photoshop. It repeatedly crashes on the launch window. For the sceptical, my CS3 Production Premium collection was all legitimately authorised and registered.
Of the other CS3 apps that installed (can't install Encore, Premiere or Soundbooth on PowerPC) they all open and run perfectly fine.
I uninstalled all CS3 and re-installed CS2. Now Photoshop CS2 won't open either (but everything else is still fine). Exactly the same problem, Photoshop crashes during the launch window.
What has CS3 changed to my system that prevents Photoshop opening and can I correct the issue? From searches on this subject Someone suggested repairing permissions before and after installing CS3. This had no effect.

You can try trashing and regenerating Photoshop preferences when you launch.
Hold down command/option/shift while launching Photoshop. You will be asked if you want to get rid of Photoshop settings. Choose yes.
See if this works; you may have to reset some of your Photoshop preferences afterward. I'm not sure why you can't install the other applications.
Also, it may have something to do with activation; did you activate your copy of CS3? You should be able to have CS3 and CS2 both running as far as activation is concerned, but are they on the same drive? This might be a problem if one version is trying to read the other's settings during launch.

Photoshop CS2 Trial Install Crash on Mac Pro

Well, I've seen the benchmark sites running Photoshop CS2 on a Mac Pro, but when I try to install the trial version, it crashs during the install process. I tried re-installing Mac OS X and re-installing Photoshop first thing, but with the same result.
A search only brought up a previously known issue with QuickTime 7.1, but the fix was to update to 7.1.1 - since my install has QT 7.1.2 this doesn't seem applicable.
Doom3 is the only other Rosetta app I've tried, and it runs fine - heck, I didn't even initially realize that the demo is the PPC-only version.
Has anyone else gotten it successfully installed? I don't want to spring out the cash for the full thing until I know it works (and I want to test out the Kodak Digital ROC plug-in to make sure it works as well.)
(I'm asking here since my lack of search results leads me to think it might be Mac Pro specific.)

Restart
During restart, hold Ctrl + Command + P + R to reset the PRAM
After this, the computer will flash and reboot again and should boot into the Mountain Lion Installer.

It thinks that I still have the expired Trial Version installed. How do I convince it (the program) that the Trial Version is long gone and the currently installed product was installed with a valid and accepted serial number????
