Photoshop won't work in stupid windows 8:1

I really need my photoshop but it won't work properly in windows 8:1, it keeps freezing or hides half the image? can anyone help?

             I'm not sure I have the answers to all your questions. Although I use Photoshop and Lightroom extensively, I'm not a 'techy'.
My system;
Packard bell imedia S2885
1TB hard drive
500G RAM
Windows 8.1   64- bit
Intel core i5 4440
If I open Photoshop cc14 without opening any image, I still get an error message that reads: 'Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware'.
There is also a link to the Adobe help site, but I'm not sure exactly what I should be downloading from there.

assuming it is an optical mouse (no ball etc.) then there aren't any moving parts involve in the motion detection
so there's a faulty component or connection
from what you describe it could be just a loose/broken connection, so if you know someone familiar with electronics see if they can open it up and have a look

I recently installed windows 8.1 on my Pavilion All in One Desktop Computer and now the computer won't recognise the DVD/CD player. I have downloaded all current drivers, but still not working. Any ideas?

Learn How to Post and More. I have read your post on how the DVD/CD player will not work after installing Windows 8.1, and I would be happy to assist you! To begin, I will need to ask you a few questions:
What is the Product and Model Number of your desktop computer?
What version of Windows did you have installed on your computer before upgrading to 8.1?
Has your computer completed all of its important Windows Updates?
In the meantime, I recommend following this document on Download or Update Software and Drivers for HP Computers, which should help configure your DVD / CD drive.

Deskjet D2666 won't work properly on WIndows 7

Hello,
I have just bought a HP Deskjet D2666 printer, and i have problems when i trying to print on my PC.
My PC is running windows 7 32 bit.
I have already try the solution that was offered from the HP website, installing the windows 7 proper driver, but it still won't work. When the printing process begins, it stuck halfway, and it won't move at all and no response.
Can anyone help me with this problem?

The CD was born before Windows 7 therefore it knows nothing about Windows 7. Please download the following package and install on your Windows 7 machine:

Photoshop won't work

I just download Photoshop CC 2014, and it will not open. The splash screen comes up when open the program, but then I immediately get a message saying Photoshop has stopped working and telling me to close the program. What wrong with my Photoshop?

Hp PSC 750Xi Won't work properly in windows 8.1 ???

I just updated from windows 7 to 8.1 and now I cannot get my Hp PSC 750xi working right...It says error everytime I go to print something and then it prints the first couple inches and thats it..
I have reinstalled the drivers over and over and ran the Doctor install from HP over and over....
Is there an archive of older drivers from HP so I can run it under win 7 compatability mode??
I cannot find one??
I build computers so I am not stupid but this one is driving me nuts I have spent hours on this....Help please

The only suggestion I have in mind would be to complete all of your Windows Updates and try printing again with your PSC 750xi.
This model does not have an in-OS driver available, so there is a chance that the printer might not work. If not, I'd suggest looking into a printer upgrade or a OS downgrade.

Current versions of Flash Player won't work on my Windows 7 machine

When I install a late version of Flash Player it won't play videos. Here's what I get on YouTube https://dl.dropbox.com/u/6246962/0002.png . I then have to go back to a previous version. When running the previous version Firefox nags me constantly about needing to update. This has been going on for a year or so. I run Firefox on Windows 7. The latest version that works is 11.1.102.55
Of course the question is how do I make a current version of Flash Player work?

I'm sorry you're running into this. This looks like a YouTube specific error, so you might be able to find out additional info on their forums. Here's a few things I'd try to start:
1. Update to our latest version, released today: 11.5
2. Update your video drivers (feel free to post your system's dxdiag report if you run into problems with this) - Windows: how do I update the device driver for my video/display adapter?
3. Try disabling hardware acceleration in Flash Player - How do I disable or enable hardware acceleration?
4. Pause the video and try changing the resolutions to see if that makes a difference
5. Clear you browser cache (or at least the Flash Player cache and settings, note that this will reset hardware acceleration back to the default - How do I clear my Flash Player cache and settings? )
6. Try clicking the popout or fullscreen buttons in the YouTube player. Does that help?

ITunes 9 and 8 won't work - just reinstalled Windows XP

I feel I'm going mad here. All night I was reinstalling Windows XP on my sister's Dell Inspiron 1520. As far as I know, I've put on all the correct drivers and bios in the right order.
This morning, I checked everything was working. Lo' and Behold, iTunes isn't. I read that a lot of people are having the same problem with iTunes 9. But I have tried just installing iTunes 8.2.1, but this didn't work either.
Each time I click the itunes icon, I get an hourglass, then a lot of nothing. It's there in processes running (iTunes 9 at approx 45000k and 8 at 25000k). But other than that it won't do anything.
The only thing out of the ordinary on this laptop is the Seven Transformation Pack. But I don't see how that would affect the running of itunes.
I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling many times, I've tried rebooting the computer and trying an older version. And now I've just run out of steam. Anyone have any ideas where to go from here? Please don't say reinstall windows!!!

+I removed Windows Live Sync from the system. Judging by the registry errors I was seeing when iTunes was trying to sync, it looks as if iTunes 9 has a problem playing nice with other resident syncing utilities.+
+After that I removed iTunes 9 and the went ahead and re-installed it, thusly no longer offering any chance of a sync conflict with (now departed) Windows Live Sync.+
+I wish Apple Support would have told me about this when I called them originally.+

I want to get Photoshop CS6 but before I find a copy to buy (seems difficult to find any right now) I want to make sure that it will work on my computer.

HP 7500a won't work on any windows 8.1 machines. HP will only help if I pay them $25.00.

I've had a 7500a 11x17 wide format printer for about 14 mos. It worked perfectly until the windows 8.1 update came out and I could no longer print or scan. I've uninstalled, cleaned, reinstalled...ensured that I downloaded teh 8.1 driver from the hp site (which is over 1 year old, oddly) and nohting works.
I've finally got printing to work most of the time by installing the basic, not full driver package.   but scanning wont' work at all and the scan to computer applet that shows in the system tray "is not available."
Bottom line...HP 8.1 driver is not workign on the 7500, and hp will only tell me how to fix it if I pay them.
This is an i7k, 16gb ram, 64bit 8.1 pc.    I've also tried teh 7500 on 3 other 8.1 pc's..and all have the same problem. so clearly, this is an hp driver issue.
anybody have a fix?   I don't think paying them $25 would get me anywhere other than frustrated and out $25.

My Windows 7 computer is recongnizing my laptop for home sharing, but my Windows 8 laptop won't recognize the home sharing with the desktop. Both computers are authorized and home sharing is on. HELP! I followed the process on the "How to move your music to a new computer" page.

I have recently installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop. After the installation was completed I got an error message when I tried to open Premiere Pro CC. The error message says the program can't start because MSVCP110.dll is missing and that I should reinstall. I don't want to reinstall as I'm worried about losing work. Apple Bluetooth Mouse won't work in Bootcamp Windows XP

I just purchased a new MacBook at The Apple Store and they installed Boot Camp with Windows XP for me. I also purchased an Apple Blue Tooth Wireless Mighty Mouse. The Blue Tooth mouse works just great on the Mac side, but it will not setup and install on Windows. The Wizard Setup finds the mouse just fine and it looks like everything has gone smoothly until about the very last last step. It gets hung up on the 'Passkey.' It doesn't matter what I check when it asks for a passkey...no passkey, set your own passkey, use passkey that came with mouse, etc. It doesn't like anything that I put in. At the end, I get the following message: "Windows was unable to exchange passkeys with your device. The device has indicated a passkey exchange failure." No passkey came with the mouse. I thought I would check here today for any ideas on what to do, but will take it into the Apple Store this week if necessary to see if I can resolve the issue. Thanks!!
