I am not sure which Diagnostic utlity you used previously. I have included the two which should assist with your printing issue. Try the Print Diagnostic utility first.

  • Photosmart 5510 All In One won't print black

    One week ago I copied an A4 page and it worked. Last night, I tried to copy something and I realised that the printer has black ink issues. At first I thought that the printhead is dry so I did a printhead clean without any results. Then I thought that the cardrige may be empty, so I filled it, and then I did a printhead clean again. Neither this time. And then I saw that there are other people that have the same problem. The question is: What to do now? 
    I use the original cardriges that came with the printer and some good ink. It is the first time since Nov 2012 when I have this problem with the printer.

    For the Photosmart 5510 the troubleshooting steps in the document here may help.  Especially make sure the vents are cleared.  If that does not resolve the issue then resetting the printer as described in the post here may help.  If this does not resolve the issue then read the entire thread here and try requesting reset instructions.
    I am concerned about your comment "good ink".  If you have refilled the cartridge there are various possibilities that could damage the printhead, including air in the supply or printhead, incompatible ink and a host of other issues.

  • Hp photosmart premium all in one won't print avery labels?

    HI, When I put a sheet of labels in (avery templete 5160) the printer spits out the label page and prints the info on regular paper? I don't see any place to  change paper to 'labels' on my printer.  Does someone know how to fix this? thank you and Merry Christmas.

    There are quite a few trouble shooting steps in my [FAQ|http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2658560&tstart=0]. But to cut to the chase, first make sure you can run one of the Apps on the Printer and its getting content. Then make sure the firmware is the latest (Tools->Web->Automatic Updates->Check for Product Updates). Then power cycle everything (Router, Printer, iOS device). If it's still not working, more likely then not its a problem with your wireless router and Bonjour, so post back what brand of router you have, the model, and how your network is configured.

  • 3310 all in one won't print colors correctly

    I've cleaned printhead lots of times and print self test.  The print quality pattern is only printing black color bar (it looks gray) and Yellow (which looks green).  None of the other boxes print.  All ink is genuine HP (always has been) and are not expired.  HELP.  Thanks.

  • 6150 All-in-One won't print black

    My HP Photosmart 6150 All-In-One won't print black. There is a new black cartridge and all the other inks are fine as well.  I've cleaned the printhead 3 times and all that printed was yellow.  I then  ran an alignment. The alignment failed, but it wasn't because of a paper issue. The manual says it could be that the printhead assembly or the sensor is defective. Is it worth getting that fixed, or should I just get a new printer? I've had this one for 8 years and it's worked great until now.

I am happy to look into this issue for you!  According to this guide, Color Mix or Missing Colors on the Diagnostic Page, it states: Missing colors occur when the printhead nozzles dry out. Since you have tried cleanign the printhead multiple times, and the issue is still occuring, I would consider having the printer serviced/or replaced. Please contact HP, phone support for further assistance.     C3180 Photosmart All-in-one won't print. Gives message  'clear paper jam.'  There is no paper jam.  About a month ago there was a paper jam, but was removed.  It worked fine since then until yesterday.  I've tried all the HP trouble-shooting suggestions- unplug, take apart, manually move carriage, etc. and nothing has solved the problem.  The paper does not advance...all that happens if I try to print is a lot of noise like carriage going back and forth and after a/b 1-2 minutes it will show the "red X" blinking on the printer and a message on the computer screen, "Clear paper jam."  When the problem first started yesterday the message was that the printer was "Out of paper."  I need to print a resume and this is just the wrong time for someone such as myself with little computer knowledge to try to figure it out.  Thanks for any suggestions!

  • HP Photosmart C2780 All-in-one won't work with Image Capture

    I want to use Image Capture as the scanning software but it won't connect to my scanner (HP Photosmart C2780 All-in-one). When I go to browse devices it shows the scanner but when i click on "Use Twain UI", nothing happens, and it is supposed to ask me if I want to connect. I believe that I have followed all of the instructions correctly but nothing is happening. Does the HP Photosmart C2780 even work with Image Capture? and if it does what am I doing wrong?

    Install the HP Drivers from HP.
    I installed V9.7.1 from the HP website:

  • Photosmart C4180 All-in-One. While printing it stopped and the power button is orange. Nothing works

    Hi, I have a Photosmart C4180 All-in-One. So far it worked perfectly.
    Tonight I had to print a few pages and right in the middle of it, it stopped leaving the page halfway.
    Also the on/off button stays orange and there is an exclamation point underneath it.
    I removed the page and turned off the power by removing the plug (pressing the on/off button didn't work).
    While putting the plug back in, the power came on again... but the on/off button remains orange. Nothing works.
    Does anybody recognize this problem and/or does anybody have a solution for this?

    Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or software issue.HP Photosmart (D110), Photosmart Wireless (B110), and Photosmart Ink Advantage (K510) e-All-in-One Printer Series - Printing a Network Configuration Page. Check to see if you still have a valid IPv4 address. If you have a valid IPv4 address for the printer then try and access the Embedded Web Server for the printer.
    Type the IPv4 address into your web browser's address bar. (Safari)Did it load the web page? If you were able to access the printer's Embedded Web Server, please try the following steps: Repair the Disk Permissions on the Mac:Close all applications.On the Apple menu bar, click Go, click Applications and then click Utilities.Double-click Disk Utility.Highlight your hard drive/partition on the left.Click Verify and then Repair Disk Permissions. Restart the computer.. Reset the Printing System: Note: This will remove all printers in the print and Fax/Scan, any printer removed can be re-added later by clicking the plus (+) symbol. Click the Apple icon and then click System Preferences.Click Printers & Scanners.Right-click (or Ctrl +click) in the left white side panel, then click Reset printing system.Click OK to confirm the reset.Type the correct Name and Password.Click OK to reset the printing system.Then click the + sign to add the driver, highlight the printer.     First I would reset the printer.  Turn it off, unplug power from the back of the printer (not the wall), wait 30 seconds, plug in, turn on.
    Now reset the Network Settings:
    1. Press the Wireless button on the front of the HP All-in-One.
    2. Press the button next to the icon on the display until Restore Network Defaults
    is highlighted, and then press the button next to OK.
    3. Confirm that you want to restore the network defaults.
    Run the Wireless Network Test again.
    If you registered your printer, HP will have the purchase and warranty date.

    Here are a couple of things to try.  I would first start with downloading and running the Print Diagnostic Utility.  IF this doesn't clear it up, then try the document on Problems printing from the internet.
