Photosmart 5520 and mirror image printing

I am having problems printing a mirror image as well. I have a "HP Photosmart 5520". I read some where that this machine has the capabilities but I'm not seeing it! please help!

No, it does not have this facility. Please try the following options:
Use an existing computer program, like paint or photoshop. These programs allow you to turn and flip your image to create the backward (mirrored) image.
Go to the Create Mirror Images website. This website is free and takes approximately 60 seconds to do, no download is required either.

How do I reverse print/mirror image print? i have HP photosmart premium c310.

you need to use a 3rd party software that supports reverse printing.
Although I am working on behalf of HP, I am speaking for myself and not for HP.

Here is a link to a post that has some good information on mirror image printing and what has worked for some other people. You should be able to go to Control Panel>Printers>right click on printer>Properties>under General tab click Printing Preferences>under Advanced Tab click Mirror Image ON. However, like i said others have had some issues with this. Hopefully you will find the link below helpful.

Mirror image printing not desired

I have been an HP printer user for many years but this stumps me. Recently my printer will give me a mirror image of what I am trying to print. It usually does this with PDF's and Internet documents. I have gone into the Advanced tab to check to see that mirror printing is off but I still get it. I am currently using Vista and have tried to check for any updates.
I want to clear up this problem before I upgrade to Window's 7. Any help is appreciated!!!!!

To add on to what sabertooth04 stated, here is a link to a document that addresses print apps for your model of printer. Click on the drop down titled "Managing Scheduled Delivery Print Apps" and the option to cancel or remove an app will be available for you to click on and review the steps to remove that app . I hope that this helps.

Difference between Photosmart 5520 and 5524?

Hi,
I'm potentially going to purchase one of the HP printers listed above but I'm a little confused, they're both the same series and have apparently exactly the same spec, but model numbers are different?
In Currys too, they're £10 apart but one comes with extra sets of ink?
If anyone has any answers I'd love to hear them.

Hey Callumh003,
HP has made several different models of the same base design. The Photosmart 5520 and Photosmart 5524 are the same printer model, however what comes in the box is the difference. Similarly, there is a Photosmart 5522 in some regions and the difference is also what comes in the box from the base Photosmart 5520.

Photosmart 5520 all in one printer

Can't seem to be able to get wording to be readable on the paper. Put in new Black Cartridge today, Color Cartridges are ok, according to the printer diagonstics report that was just done. Prior to this issue, I was able to print reports. Used the HP Prit and Scan Doctor app---letters and numbers are not able to be seen on the paper

Text and solid images print as halftones

I have a Xerox phaser 3250 with PCL6 emulation. Recently, whenever I create a document in Quark and print it, my text and solid images print as halftones as opposed to solid blacks. When I try to modify the PPD or any other device option in the print window, the option buttons are dimmed. Is this an issue with my printer or my OS or my software ? thanks

IPod display is upside down and mirror image - fixable?

The display on my mom's iPod display is upside down and mirror image. I can read the menus if I hold the iPod horizontal, and look into a mirror about six inches in front of my nose, but it's inconvenient.
I have tried the 5 R's (except for upgrading the Mac OS 10.3.9 - she has an 800 MHz G3 iBook and won't support Leopard). Apparently the songs all reloaded and play OK, but the display is hard to read without (and with!) the mirror.
I found a similar help request from last June, but no solution.

Air play and mirror imaging

Hi Im using ipad3 with the latest software, and trying to conect with my apple tv.
Each time I turn on the airplay and mirror imaging it automatically turns itself off after a very short time, sometimes just seconds.
It worked for a couple of days with no probs but now this is happening, Ive changed no settings.
Can anyone help, thanks in advance

You will need the following bandwidth to run the following:
1080p HD movies require a recommended speed of 8 Mbps,
720p HD movies require a recommended speed of 6 Mbps
SD movies require a recommended speed of 2.5 Mbps.
You might just get away with watching slide shows or listening to music.

Mirror Image Printing - Photosmart Premium C410A

How can I print the mirror image on a Photosmart Premium C410A for a t-shirt transfer?

UPDATE: Looks like the second problem (where once right justified is selected the content prints ~2" too far to the right) is caused entirely by the auto duplex setting. If I turn the auto-duplex, the envelope prints correctly.
This appears to another issue I posted earlier (http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-printing-questions/Photosmart-Premium-C410a-Margins/m-p/502919#M3... where the top and bottom margins are increased whenever auto-duplex is enabled.
HP, can you PLEASE have someone look into both of these problems?

HP Photosmart Premium c309g-m does not have a mirror image print option-help please

After twice being dropped from HP chat support I have laned in this forum to get some help please.
I need to be able to print mirror images from my printer and it simply is not a option-it's not a matter of turning on the
option, it is not there at all.

Check the iron-on packaging for ink specs. Make sure to use HP iron-on paper.

After twice being disconnected from HP chat help, I have landed here in this forum and need some help please...
The option to print a mirror image is not anywhere in my printer tools/options. I need this to be able to print some iron
images. I think the chat folks could not help me and just hung up on me, they seemed confused as to what the problem is. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this, it's not a matter on turning it on either, it's not there to turn on kwim.

HP Photosmart 5520, Windows 7, "Now Printing" stays on printer screen

My HP Photosmart 5520, inkjet printer, windows 7 OS, has "now Printing" on the small screen all the time. Iyogi says it works find from their end, but I can't get it to print and turn off the "now printing". How do I reurn it to normal? Need detailed instructions.

I suggest that you do the following:
Do a Hard Reset on the printer as described in the following link. Click Here
Clear the print queue. To do this, click on the Start button, select Devices and Printers, right click your printer and select See What’s Printing (for the printer that does not say “fax”), right click any documents listed and select Cancel Document.
Download and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor. and select Fix Printing.
