Photosmart 5520 showing new cartridges as less than half full

I've just replaced the three colour cartridges with genuine HP cartridges.
There are no printing problems, no error message, yet the Cyan and Blue cartridges are only showing less than half full. The yellow one is showing full.
I've tried all the steps on the trouble-shooting page here  but no change.
Is there a solution?

I see that the colour ink cartridges are not giving an accurate reading. I do have a couple troubleshooting steps that I would like to run through to see if we can get this issue resolved for you.
First off, if you have the printer power cable connected to a power bar/strip, please remove it and connect the power cable direct to a wall outlet.  Here is a document that explains the Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector.  Please note that the printer that is listed in this document is a LaserJet printer and that this is only used as an example seeing that the power issue applies to HP products in general.
I would also suggest that you attempt to reset the printer once the power cable is in a wall outlet. Here is a document that explains how to do a basic Reset on the printer.

    I appreciate your response. I have done all of the things mentioned, but still when I click on "devices", the "transfer music" option is still not selectable. I see it, but can't select it.  I am running Windows 7 on my PC.
    However, one thing I read makes me take pause. At one point I did erase my computer back to factory settings using the mirrored image. We backed up all information and put the important stuff back on, but I don't believe we did anything with iTunes, so it's a possibility that the music that is in my library now, may only be music I have purchased since then. But, (thinking out loud) that was a while ago and I am pretty sure I have purchased more music than what is in my iTunes library, since then.  Maybe I will approach it from that angle and see what happens.
    It just doesn't make any logical sense that syncing goes from computer to device. Ostensibly then, my iPhone would only have the music that is on my computer after syncing and that is not the case. I still have all my music on my phone. I can see the new music that's on my phone get added to my iTunes library when I connect, which would make one think that syncing occurs both ways. I don't know. It's maddening. Maybe I should just follow my husbands advice and go to an Android. LOL. Or maybe I will take my laptop and phone to the Apple store and make them figure it out. Ha.

    According to your description, I think this issue is caused by the IE browser that runs the report. To trouble shoot this issue, I suggest that we can try to clear internet temporary files, cookies and others in IE browser. And also add this site
    as a trusted site in IE browser to check this issue again.
    If this issue is still existed, it can also be occurred due to the setting or third party add-ons of Internet Explorer (IE). In this scenario, you can try to run IE in compatibility mode to check the issue again. Or I suggest that you can refer to the
    steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
    Click Tools -> Internet options.
    Switch to the Security tab, click Local intranet, and then select Default level.
    Switch to the Advanced tab, and click Restore advanced settings.
    Temporarily disable third party add-ons. For detailed steps, please see the link below:

    Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as NEW device.  If you've been through ALL the steps listed and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.

    Is there any way of setting the mpeg resolution to less than half? I ask this because I want to use the program strictly for HDV real time monitoring (not recording) and it seems like the latency is most affected by the mpeg resolution.

    No, Half-Res is the only option. Is your CPU getting pegged while monitoring HDV at half-res? If not, then a lower res setting wouldn't help.
    A major factor in latency with HDV is the interframe compression. There's a big random element to the extent of the latency depending on where in the GOP OnLocation starts getting frames. So if the latency is especially bad, cycling power on the camera might help. It's pure luck of the draw where you step into the GOP data stream.

  • Selecting less than a full word

    Is it possible to get an AVDocGetPageText() callback with less than a full word of text?  If I make the selection rectangle smaller than the full word using PDDocCreateTextSelect, it still scales up to the word boundary.  I just wish to see the letters in the selection box, not the full word that ends outside of it.

    Napster and all the rest are just as bad. That's why it's such a dangerous thing to make assumptions here that other music download services work the same way as the iTMS.
    What's really great about Microsoft's DRM is that when you have to reinstall Windows and then restore your licenses, it counts against you. Every time you do that (which can be often when you use Windows), it's one more computer authorization. I have a Rio Karma (gotta have gapless playback), and it came with a gift card for a free album from Napter. After a few rounds of trying out different Windows-Linux dual boot options, I ran out of authorizations (as though I'd changed computers) and can no longer play the files.
    At least I learned enough about DRM with my "free" album to forever avoid actually paying for such content.

    If you see the image below, charge the iPhone or iPod touch with USB power adapter for at least 15 minutes.

    If the screen still displays the low-battery icon, try turning the iPhone or iPod touch off and then on again.
    If the issue persists, follow these troubleshooting steps.

    I have a 16GB San Disc that when more than half full and trying to transfer the images to the iPhoto library I get the message "communication error".  How can I update my computers software to be SDHC compatable?  I can buy a card reader but thought an update to the software would fix this problem.

    I am not familiar with Flickr, but found their support page at <Flickr Support>. You may get better help there than here.  I get the impression that the App is somewhat buggy.

  • Photosmart 5520 - damaged print cartridge msge but cant access cartridges to change

     I've just replaced a black 364 XL print cartrdige and got the message that it was damaged.  I tried to open the printer to take it out and replace it but the cartridges are all stuck to the right of the access area and won't move so I can't get at it.  I've looked at the HP forums and gone through all the steps around turning it on and off, checking its not a paper jam etc but no joy.  Can anyone help please?     my new HP photosmart 5520 will not print photos. It keeps flashing "out of paper, reload" when the printer is already loaded with paper single and several sheets. Is this a faulty machine that I bought or can it be rectified. I never had this problem with my previous Kodak printer.     I see you are having photo printing issues with the Photosmart 5520, it will not feed the paper. Will the printer print on regular 8.5x11 paper?
    What is the paper type and size you are trying to print these photos on?
