Photosmart 7510 no yellow print

The yellow is not printing.

Hi Nertz,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I see that your HP Photosmart 7510 is not printing yellow, and I am happy to help you with this printing issue!
For further assistance, I will need to know:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies by itself.
If the power cable plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
In the meantime, please go through this print quality guide. Printer Does Not Print Black Ink or Color Ink, or Prints Blank Pages, and let me know what happens.
Hope to hear from you, and thank you for posting!

  • HP Photosmart 7510 does not print anything black

    Hi.
I have a HP Photosmart 7510 about 1,5 year old.
It does not print black any longer even if there is inc in the HP original cartrige.
No error meessage. Compleetly empty where black should be on testprinting. Cleaning priter head does not help.
Can it be the same problem that have been solved for other printers like 3070 by some PM provided by Ciara_B?
    Regards.

The document here may help resolve black not printing on your HP Photosmart 7510.  Be sure to check the vents as shown in solution three.  If the first three solutions do not resolve the issue the post here may help.

  • HP Photosmart 7510 - I can print but not scan

    Hello,
I bought my HP Photosmart a few months ago. It worked fine, and I could print wirelessly from my desktop to the printer, and I could scan from the printer to the desktop computer. In fact, last week I was able to scan.
Today, I wanted to scan something, and I could choose my computer in the list, but got the message that I needed to connect my computer to the printer. I checked what might be wrong, but everything looked okay. I downloaded the scan doctor, and received the message that DeviceSetup.exe could not be found. Which is odd, because when I look in the map, the file is there. I then rebooted the printer, which didn't work. Then I tried to reinstall the drivers on the hp website for my printer, but again got the message that DeviceSetup.exe could not be found.
Next, I removed the printer completely from the computer, reinstalled, and still had the same issue. Except this time in the list to scan to a computer, my desktop is no longer there and I get the message that "on windows, scan to computer will automatically be activated" (I'm translating from Dutch, so in English it could be slightly differently worded).
I retried the scan doctor, and this time I received the message that DeviceSetupLauncher.exe couldn't be found. Again, this is in the directory where it should be. I can see it in the map, but when I click on it, I again get the same notice!
Needless to say, I'm at a loss as to what I could do to fix it. The file I need is right there, but my computer acts like it's not. I'm a student and really need my printer. So I'd be very grateful for any advice on how to fix this problem!
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
For Windows 7 and Windows 8 machine, please keep the printer connected, download and run the following tool:
       http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL50403/mp-122330-1/hppiw.exe
Can you see HP Scan when click Start (Windows 7) ?

  • Hp photosmart 7510 all in one

I purchased new ink cartriges from hp on line and now my printer will not print

    Hello upset1,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand your Photosmart 7510 will not print. I will do my best to assist you! Is your printer printing blank pages or only printing in one color?
I would recommend following this entire HP document on Fixing Ink Streaks, Faded Prints, and Other Common Print Quality Problems. Try printing a print quality diagnostic report and try cleaning the printhead which will improve the quality.
I will be looking forward to hearing from you. Have a great day!

  • Photosmart 7510 did full bleed with PC, won't do it with new Mac

For years I used my Photosmart 7510 with my old HP PC laptop, and did full bleed just fine. Now, I can't get it to do so with any of my Mac applications. Right now I am struggling with Pages, but it was also true for MS Word. I've tried all the fixes (including making the page custom sized larger), and still it always leaves about an 1/8th of an inch on all sides. Please tell me how to do a full bleed with my Mac. Thank you.

    Hello lnipps,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand your Photosmart 7510 will not print a full bleed using your Mac computer. I will do my best to assist you! First, I need to ask some questions:
What is your operating system on this computer? Mac.
What type of paper are you using?
What type of full bleed printing are you trying to achieve?
What program are you printing from?
Please verify this information and I will assist you further! Have a great night!

  • HP Photosmart 7510 - L:ooking at my Print Quality Diagnostic Reports - Why so many more "PHA Drops?"

My Photosmart 7510 C311a indicates it has printed about 7500 pages since I purchased it in about November 2011.
Tonight, after replacing the Cyan ink cartridge, I ran the cartridge alignment and then printed out the Print Quality Diagnostic Report.  As I was checking it out, I noticed the mention in 11, 12, 13, and 22 of the words:
    11.  PHA Installed:  01/24/2012
    12.  PHA TTOE Completed 1
    13.  PHA Hex ID: K: 3ff11948_5c3f230b, C: 00f11d60_5b421f06
and on the line across the page for Item 22, with numbers under each color cartridge,
(Cartridge Color)       Photo                  Magenta             Cyan                    Yellow                     Black
    22. PHA Drops          1493032000   4700387000   7245406000   51771850000   13001389000
While these numbers are very large, I was curious as to how quickly the grew in the very short time (like five minutes) between the time I ran the first diag report and then aligned the heads and ran another diag report -- at the most it was five minutes and I printed nothing in between.  Then, after calculating the growth in each number, in about ten minutes, I ran another diag report and the numbers grew again.  For each color cartridge, over the three tests, with no more than ten minutes between tests and with nothing but the three reports printed, here are the three sets  of numbers  for "PHA Drops."
    Photo         1493032000        1494847000         1496485000
    Magenta    4700387000        4702380000         4704197000
    Cyan           7245406000        7247860000          7249779000
    Yellow        5177185000         5179178000         5180995000
    Black          13001389000      13008428000      13013963000
Between the first and the second diag reports, the numbers for each cartridge increased by the following numbers:
    Photo           1,815,000
    Magenta      1,993,000
    Cyan             2,540,000
    Yellow          1,993,000
    Black            7,039,000
I didn't bother to calculate the change in numbers between test 2 and test 3, but I suspect the numbers will be similar.
My question is this:  What exactly is the definition of a "PHA Drop" and how does it fit into whatever the "PHA-related process" entails?
I have read two or three "PHA Drop" related queries and answers on the HP Forums and the answers -- bluntly -- sound like the answer-maker either has no real idea what is involved - or - thinks nobody on the forum could understand the real answer.  Bad form..
I don't think there is a 'conspiracy to deny' here and I don't even think the PHA Drop is something I must know about to sleep tonight -- but, it is an obvious and open part of the information that HP has seen fit to include in every Print Quality Diagnostic Report and one of the posted answers states that the whole PHA 'thing' is only used for "diagnostics."
Okay, diagnostics run by whom and when and where and for what purpose?  A really good, complete and accurate, fact-based answer might even help HP Users better understand the equipment we have spent good money to acquire and use.
    Answer please.
    Thanks

PHA stands for Print Head Assembly.  This is the assembly of the color and black printheads and the electrical interconnect.
PHA drops are the individual ink droplets printed.  An individual drop is very small, on the order of 5 x 10 ^-12 liters for color, perhaps larger for black.   I would not be surprised to see 7 million black drops on a page.  At 600 dpi one square inch of paper would take 360,000 drops so 7 million drops would be about 20% coverage of the page if all the ink were used for printing  There will also be some ink used for servicing to keep the printhead clear.  The document here has information on how ink is used.
The diagnostic page is useful in cases where there is a problem in printing and you call HP support.  They may have you print a diagnostic page and may ask for some of the particular lines to help diagnose the issue.  There are a large number of items in the diagnostic page that can be of interest to the support folks (or the engineers during development) but for the most part they are not useful for the end user.

My new HP Photosmart 7510 wireless printer won't stay "connected" to my Mac Book Pro.  Every time I try to print, it says it is "looking for printer" and "printer is disconnected."  Sometimes it finds the printer and I get the pages, but several times, it hasn't found the printer at all.  Thanks!

  • HP Photosmart 7510 e-ALL-IN-One Series pages are blank coming out of the printer

Printed pages are either blank or streaked.  I have cleaned the print heads (clearning levels 1 & 2) and installed new  HP cartridges but issue persits.  This occours whether I print in blk&white or color.  It may print one or two good pages until it starts to streak badly or produce blank pages.  I then clean the print heads (levels 1 & 2) and sometimes it works again for a couple of pages.

  • My new HP all in one computer was recently connected to our new Photosmart 7510 printer. It worked

I own a one month old HP Omni 220 PC (all in one). The operating system is Windows 7. It is connected to wi-fi network in the home. The Internet portion works fine. And, for about 30 days, it would print to our new wi-fi connected HP Photosmart 7510 just fine. Today, it will not print. Our other computers connected to the network print just fine. So, it's not the printer, or the wi-fi. Can you tell me what might have happened within my PC, and what I need to do to fix the problem? I tried restarting the PC, and the printer but that didn't fix the problem. There have been no recent changes to the software or hardware configurations.
    Thanks,
    Bill

you have to file the music file if you dont itunes cant play a file that does not exist. check the get info and look for the old music file on your old computer. Or do this http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4527.

  • How to enter printer code into new eprint acount. first acount was deleted. (photosmart 7510)

I eneterd my printer code into my eprint account, then mistakenly deleted the account. I set up a new account, but now I can't add the printer. I get the message "invalid code". The printer is a photosmart 7510.

You may need to disable and then enable Web Services from your printer to get a new printer code and then register that code.

  • How do I cancel a print job from my computer to my HP Photosmart 7510. Touchscreen is unavailable.

    HP Photosmart 7510 All-in-One CQ877a Model C3112; Operating system Windows Vista 64-bit.
Can't find how to easily cancel a print job. The touch screen is unavailable during the printing process (just shows the HP icon spinning around during the print process). There isn't a "cancel" button or touch area to cancel. We're wasting ink and paper by not being able to cancel jobs easily. Read the 24-page manual and it doesn't mention it. Looked on line for an answer, can't seem to locate one. Can always go to Start, Printers, and select the printer and then cancel from within there, but by then, the job is finished.

There should be a cancel button (X) on the printer. Check out the pic below taken from page 7 of the User manual for your printer:

Alternately, instead of going the Start button route, did you check out the Final tip at the bottom of the article?
    "Final Tip (Shortcut)
Before using the method above to open the print queue, look for the printer icon in the notification area. If you see it, double-click it to bring up the print queue. "
