Photosmart 7510 Touchsmart web app is not responding

I have had this printer for awhile (1-2 years maybe?) and have never encountered any errors.  I went to print quick forms from the device's display and got the following error
"Touchsmart web app is not responding.  Please try again later."
I am on the correct network, I can print and scan wirelessly from my computer with no problems.  I have reset the wireless connection, our modem and router.  I checked for updates and there are no new updates.
I saw that many have had this problem in the past, but have not seen anyone who has gotten it fixed.
Is there a solution or is this now just a basic printer again?

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I see that you are getting a connection error when trying to access the HP Quick Forms printable found on the front panel of your Photosmart 7510 printer.
Please set a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. I have included a link to another post with the steps, including screen shots, on how to do this.
If you run into any issues, please let me know at what step things went hairy and what any error messages said.

    I apologize that no one has gotten back to you but I'd like to explore your issue a little mroe to see if we cannot get this problem resolved for you.
    If you could provide me with a few bits of information, I'd greatly appreciate it.
    1. Please print a printer status report from the front panel of the Printer. To do this, on the front panel, press the Tools button (looks like a wrench) > then Printer Status Report. Once this page prints out, underneath the Product Information Header, there should be a field for Firmware Version. Please report to us which version you have.
    2. If you could inform us as to who you used for your Internet Service, we'd greatlly appreciate it. An ISP is somebody like Qwest, Comcast, CableOne, Timewarner, Cox, and etc.
    3. Also your router make and model would help as well.
    This will help narrow down some possible reasons for your problem with the Web Apps portion of our Web Services.

    My device: hp photosmart 7510.
    My problem: does not work program TouchSmart Web.
    When you click on the icons web-program (Facebook, DreamWorks and other) on the screen I get the warning: the application TouchSmart Web is not responding. Try again later.
    With computer printing is supported. Web printing works properly. The device sees the network and sees him.
    Restored on the device back to factory settings, modified my network - nothing helped. The answer is always the same.
    The results of the validation of a wireless network: no problems.
    When you first set up (start) everything worked.
    My guess: stopped working program TouchSmart Web.
    How can I be in this situation? Can I reinstall TouchSmart Web?

    Hi,
    Mine is ok right now. Update firmware may help but before that please run a test by sending a job to its email address to see it actually connected to the internet or not.
    To be honest: I won't bother to use them because it's one way to drain expensive inks.

  • TouchSmart web apps not working

    The web apps are not working. I have tried resetting printer by unplugging and re connecting. I have turned off the wireless connection and I have removed web services and re initiated nothing works. They worked before and thing has changed I do not understand?

    Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I gather that the printable apps on the front panel of your Photosmart Premium C310 printer are unresponsive.
    Are you still having the same issue? If yes, please try setting a manual IP address and manual DNS servers for the printer. I have included a link to another post with the steps, including screen shots, on how to do this. Don’t worry that the screen shots are for a Photosmart 7510, the steps are the same.

  • My Mail App is not responding

    My MacBook Pro Mail App is not responding.  Can anyone offer a suggestion to fix this?

    Back up all data before proceeding.
    Step 1
    If Mail crashes or freezes immediately on launch, try the steps suggested on this page. Sometimes a corrupt message on a mail server can be deleted by logging in to the server through its web page. If Mail still won't launch, skip to Step 3.
    Step 2
    Select all your mailboxes, and then select
              Mailbox ▹ Export Mailbox...
    from the Mail menu bar. Export the mailboxes to the Desktop folder.
    Make a note of the settings for all your Mail accounts – everything you'd need to reconstruct the settings from scratch.
    Quit Mail.
    Step 3
    In the Finder, hold down the option key and select
              Go ▹ Library
    from the menu bar. Move the following items (some may not exist) from the folder that opens to the Desktop:
              Application Support/AddressBook/MailRecents-v4.abcdmr
              Containers/com.apple.corerecents.recentsd
              Containers/com.apple.mail
              Containers/com.apple.MailServiceAgent
              Mail
    Note: you are not moving the Mail application. You’re moving a folder named “Mail.”
    Launch Mail. It will behave as if you were setting it up for the first time. Go through the setup process with one of your accounts, using the information you noted earlier. Test. If Mail works now, recreate the rest of your settings.
    If there’s no improvement, quit Mail and put back the items you moved to the Desktop, replacing any newer ones that may have been created in their place. Stop here and post your results.
    Step 4
    This step should not be necessary with IMAP or Exchange mailboxes, because they synchronize automatically with the server. Nevertheless, if the mailboxes are very large, importing them may spare you the need for a long download.
    If you took Step 2, import the mailboxes you exported:
              File ▹ Import Mailbox...
    If you skipped Step 2, look inside the Mail folder on the Desktop for a subfolder Mail/V2/Mailboxes. Import the mailboxes it contains.
    Test. If Mail is still working, delete the items you moved to the Desktop in Step 3.

    Safari has been my favorite browser for a long time. Nothing against the others but I have found it faster and better. Now I can really no longer use it. This has been going on and getting worse for atr least  few weeks. Anyone know why?

    From the Safari menu bar, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences ▹ Extensions
    If any extensions are installed, disable them and test.

    Several threads reference it when it occurs after performing various kinds of actions, and the author's ascribe it to their particular operation, but obviously it is a more general error.

    After posting my message I performed the latest Software Update.
    But my question is also general -- what are the causes of this error?  I have read assertions that it relates to the newest Flash Plugin, or Java, etc. but I would like an authoritative explanation.  How can something cause ALL tabs to need to be reloaded?  Is it caused by something on a web page, or by something internal like the cache getting too large or corrupted or what?
    This error is associated with extremely high % of CPU time being taken up by Safari Web Content.

  • Safari is repeatedly crashing and web pages are not responding

    So, my safari is constantly freezing (the spinning wheel of death shows up) and then I'm told that the web-pages are not responding and I need to force reload them all. And this can repeat a number of times; a full system re-start is the only fix.
    Any fixes, solutions would be appreciated.
    I'm using Safari 5.1.9; and Mac OS X 10.6.8

    MIght be third party plugins causing Safari to freeze.
    Try the troubleshooting help here >  Safari: Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues
    And see if you can do this before Safari freezes.
    Launch Safari and immediately press Command ,  (comma) to open the Safari Preferences pane then select the Extentions tab.
    If there are any extensions installed, turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test. If Safari doesn't freeze, uninstall one extension at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test again.

  • Web pages are not responding

    I often get the message that "web pages are not responding".  Safari seems to slow down to a crawl, I've reset Safari and emptied the caches, t may get better for a few minutes but then returns it's slow down. Someone said to quit safari and then trash Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/ folder. That doesn't seem to help. Does anyone have any suggestions how to solve this annoying problem?

    Read this whole message before doing anything.
    Back up all data.
    Quit Safari if it’s running. Then select
     ▹ Force Quit…
    from the menu bar. A small window will open with a list of running applications. Safari may appear in that list, even though you quit it. If so, select it and press return. Close the window.
    Step 1
    In the Finder, press the key combination shift-command-A to open the Applications folder. Select the Safari icon in that folder and press the key combination command-I to open the Info window. There’s a checkbox in the Info window labeled Open in 32-bit mode. Uncheck it, if checked. Close the Info window and the Applications folder.
    If Adobe Flash Player is installed, select
     ▹ System Preferences ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
    and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.
    Hold down the option key and select
    Go ▹ Library
    from the Finder menu bar. Delete the following items from the Library folder (some may not exist):
    Caches/com.apple.Safari
    Caches/com.apple.WebKit.PluginProcess
    Caches/Metadata/Safari
    Preferences/com.apple.WebKit.PluginHost.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.WebKit.PluginProcess.plist
    Saved Application State/com.apple.Safari.savedState
    Leave the Library folder open. Try Safari again. If it works now, stop here. Close the Library folder. If you still have problems, continue.
    Step 2
    Triple-click anywhere in the line below to select it:
    rm -fr $TMPDIR../C/com.apple.Safari
    Copy the selected text to the Clipboard (command-C).
    Quit Safari again. Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
    ☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
    Paste into the Terminal window (command-V). Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal. Launch Safari and test.
    Step 3
    If Safari still doesn’t work right, quit, go back to the Finder and move the following items from the open Library folder to the Desktop (some may not exist):
    Cookies/Cookies.binarycookies
    Internet Plug-Ins
    Preferences/com.apple.Safari.LSSharedFileList.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.Safari.RSS.plist
    Preferences/com.apple.WebFoundation.plist
    PubSub/Database
    Safari
    (Note: you are not moving the Safari application. You’re moving a folder named “Safari.”)
    Try again. This time Safari should perform normally, but your settings and bookmarks will be lost. The default set of bookmarks will be restored. Delete them all.
    If the issue is still not resolved, quit Safari again and put all the items you moved to the Desktop back where they were, overwriting the newer ones that may have been created in their place. You don’t need to replace the files you deleted in step 1. Stop here and post again.
    If Safari is now working normally (apart from the lost settings), look inside the “Safari” folder on the Desktop for a file named “Bookmarks.plist”. Select
    File ▹ Import Bookmarks
    from the Safari menu bar. Import from that file. Recreate the rest of your Safari settings. You can then delete the items you moved to the Desktop.
    Note: This step will remove your Safari Extensions, if any, and their settings. If you choose to restore them, do so one at a time, testing after each step to make sure you haven’t restored the problem.
    If you don’t like the results of step 3, you can undo it completely by quitting Safari and restoring the items you moved or deleted in that step from your backup, overwriting any that were created in their place.

  • App World not responding :(

    Tried to open the appworld app, but it just goes in circles and then returns back with app world not responding. There is a problem with appworld.
    Tried Software Update, it says the update server is temporarily unavailable. error code 2032.

    Today my Project Online web app does not open. Error message is
    Could not connect to the specified Project Web App URL: https%3a%2f%2fsapphire365.sharepoint.com%2fsites%2fpwa.  If you have manually changed the Project Web App URL for this Web Part, please remove this Web Part and add it to the page again from the
    Web Part catalog
    I've not changed any web part. Can you please help out as I cannot access anything in project online.

        Agree with Hrishi that you should open a service request, and if you can't log into your tenant, then use this URL to log into the administrative portal to log the service request:

  • Most apps keep not responding

    I was using Mountain Lion, but it cannot play the music in iTunes. It shows it's playing, but there's no sound and the progress bar is not moving. Then i brought it to Apple Care in mu country. The sales reinstalled the OS. Then it was working fine. Not so long after that, i upgraded to Mavericks. I don't use this Macbook Pro often. I installed BitTorrent, it cannot start, the apps keep showing not responding, but when i start BitTorrent in safe mode, it works normally, when i started it again in normal mode, it keeps showing not responding. This condition is the same like Macgo Player, VLC,  DiVX player and some other apps, mostly video player. Because when i double-click the video file, the VLC only shows the playlist, when i click play, it froze. Or when i clicked the VLC and click file-open it froze too. When i installed Macgo Player and DiVX player, it was installed successfully, but when i started it, it won't start and keeps saying apps is not responding!
    I am stressed with this error because i cannot use this MacBook Pro normally. Help needed. Thanks.

    Would the Apache port be defined in the $APPL_TOP/admin/SID_NAME.xml file or is it in a different location?It should be set in the application context file and in Apache config files (if you have run AutoConfig recently).
    I have compared the old .xml file to the new one and the ports all seem to be the same, 8115 is listed as oprocmgr_port and only used once. This is the same in the new and old files.
    How would I verify that nothing else is using that port from the command line?Use netstat and/or rpcinfo commands to verify this.
