Photosmart 7760 driver compatibility for Windows 7?

I want to migrate from Vista to Windows 7, with a Photosmart 7760 as my primary printer. This model number is not listed in the HP Driver Compatibility Table for Windows 7. Does that mean there is no compatible driver, or is it included in another "family"?

Hi,
Download and run HP Printer Install Wizard from link below,

I need a Photo program that is compatible with HP Photosmart Premier 6.5 for Windows 8. Can anyone help me? as the program in Windows 8 does not recognize the flash drive to upload.

    Hi,
This is a third party software, I think the contract ceased few years back. The latest version is v7.0 dated 2006-06-09. Now HP uses a product called HP Photo Creations, you can download from the following link:
       http://www.hp.com/hho/hp_create/themes_partners_hp_photo_creation.html
    Regards.
ps. This is also a third party product (from Rocketlife).

  • HP 6600 Scan\Print Driver Issue for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    Hello,
For some time now I have been unable to scan or print from my desktop (Windows 7 Professional 64bit) and I have exhausted too much effort and am now bringing it to the masses.
    The problem:
Printing:  Currently receiving an "Error - Offline" message in my printer queue at all times.
Scanning:  Scanning has never fully worked on this desktop. I am always unable to communicate with the printer. (Though webscan works through accessing the printers IP address)
    Things I have tried:
Ran HPPSDr, followed directions (Unpluged power to printer, turn back on, restart computer) brings me to this website after it cannot fix. (Note that while the HPPSDr is running it always notions that there is a driver problem)
Uninstalled Drivers from CD-ROM, re-installed, countless times
Installed "Windows 7 Pro 64 bit drivers" from the HP website and uninstalled, countless times.
Attempted to set a static IP and use "Update IP Address" to point specifically at the printers IP.
Installed Drivers and finding the printer myself through it's own static IP address.
Turned off firewall and attempted to print (after reboot), same errors
Setting up the printer on all of my laptops (3) wirelessly to attempt to find if there is a problem with the printer or static IP. (1 is Windows VISTA 32bit and the other 2 are Ubuntu 32bit). All laptops are able to use the printer wirelessly without any problems.
Read all of the forums about this issue and attempted all of the 'solutions'. Although I mostly don't see that anyone with this same problem is resolved, unless I'm missing the perfect post.
    Things I have not tried:
Plugging the USB directly into the desktop. (This seems self defeating as the purpose for this printer was to be able to print wirelessly to it from across the room)
Re-installed Windows 7 Pro 64bit (Trying to avoid this, would rather just print from laptops)
    You tell me
    Curiosities:
I have noticed strange things that make me believe the driver is somehow incomptable with my OS. Here is a shot of the properties of the printer:
Weird that it is not recognizing the model number.
Also in the Printer Settings when I go to the port tab, there is no port selected, if I try and tab away it forces me to select a port, yet when I do and 'apply' and then re-open the Printer Settings in the ports tab; it has again unselected the previously selected port.
    Theories:
I feel like my OS is just refusing to notice the IP address for the wireless printer, no matter what I have it set to, even if it's dynamic. It's like the driver for Windows 7 Pro 64bit is actually not the correct driver for my system.
Anyways, another thing to mention is that I am not currently willing to wipe my operating system and re-install Windows 7 Pro in order to resolve this just yet. I want to see if anyone else has any other avenues I can try before even beginning to consider that.
Anyways, thanks in advance for taking the time to read my ramblings and hopefully someone who has resolved this issue can help me.

    Hi Zerosouls,
I understand you are having an issue with HP 6600 Scan\Print Driver Issue for Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
First try to click the Windows icon, type services in the Search box, and then click or tap View Local Services. Scroll down to the Windows Installer. Startup type should be - Automatic, and Service Status should be - started
Restart the computer after this step and try installing Hp Officejet 6600 again.
Please let me know what happens

  • Model 15-d006TU all driver link for windows 7

    plz plz plz
model 15-d006TU all  driver link for windows 7

    Hi:
I have already answered your question yesterday.
    http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Other-Desktop-PC-Questions/32-bit-driver-for-windows-7/m-p/3481621
Your notebook is not supported by HP for windows 7 32 bit.
You have to use drivers from other notebooks and manufacturers websites.
If those drivers don't work, then you need to install W7 64 bit.
Asking the same question every day will get you absolutely nowhere.

  • Is Photosmart 7760 driver for Windows 7 included in some other group?

    Driver information page
[Forum doesn't like my url, so I will retype it with extra spaces inserted around the slashes]:
    " http ://  h41112.www4.hp.com / promo / win7web / printer-support / us / en / photosmart.html "
does not list Photosmart 7760 -
Does that mean there will not be a driver, or is it included in some other group such as 7400 or 7800 which are on the list?
    =
If no W7 driver, will my Vista driver work?
Or, use Vista driver with workaround posted elsewhere on 02-24-2009 , by editing "autorun.ini" text file from 600 to 601 ??

Note:  I also tried to rebuild Windows Update's SoftwareDistribution file to get Photosmart 330 to show up, that didn't work either

  • Photosmart 6520 64bit drivers for windows xp pro

Can't turn up any drivers for my new 6520 on my older XP PRO 64 bit system...
    Any help out there  ?

    Hey RichardChambers,
    Thank you for your question!
Here's a link to the Driver page for the Photosmart 6520 e All-In-One for Windows XP
A common question is, "should I get the Full Feature driver or the Basic driver?" The best answer to that is try the Basic, first if you want. Then, if you find yourself wanting more features, download the Full Feature driver.

  • Wifi Mouse Driver update for Windows 8

Hi, I upgraded to windows 8 and now of course my WiFi mobile mouse does not work. I assumed that a driver would be provided soon after Windows 8 release, but none have been, as it appears forthcoming. Should I sell my WiFi mouse or do I wait for the drivers? I know SoftAP is available in Windows 8, so what's the hold up?

Good morning, HP does not sypply any driver and based on the following link it's specially designed for Windows 7:   http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/uk/en/sm/WF06c/A1-329290-69998-329251-329251-5059444-5095508.html But, you may try the following option from Microsoft: a.       Right click on the setup file of and select “Properties”.b.      Select “Compatibility” Tab.c.       Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and select Windows 7 from the drop down list.d.      Let the program install and then check the functionality. Good luck.ps. 7:10AM Monday my time now

  • How can I transfer files off an external hard drive formatted for windows?

I just bought my first mac (yay!) and am trying to transfer my files off of my old pc.  The problem is that I stored all my personal files on an external hard drive, which is of course formatted for windows.  My mac will open it, but it is "read only."  I tried plugging it back into my pc and using the Migration Assistant to transfer my files over, but it was not detected (rest of the pc was).
However, the second time I tried plugging it in to my pc, it told me it would need to be formatted first.  Obviously my mac has changed something on it, and now all my personal files are on a hard drive that is unusable by either my old pc or my new mac!
Any suggestions would be appreciated!  Heads up though, I am not especially computer literate, and my pc needs to stay intact as the husband needs it and some of the programs on it for school.  Also, I have a second external hard drive that is brand new with nothing on it, if that will come in handy.
    Thanks!

Format the extra HDD to EXFAT as previously indicated.  There are two ways that can use to transferr the data.
    1.  Connect both drives to the PC and the copy the files to the newly formatted (EXFAT) drive from the HDD with the data .  Then connect the EXFAT drive to the MBP and transfer the data to same.
    2.  Connect both drives to the MBP and open DISK UTILITY>RESTORE.  Drag the drive with the data on it to the 'Source' field.  Drag the EXFAT drive to the 'Destination' field.  Click on the 'Restore' butt is on.  After the transfer has been completed, close DISK UTILITY and place the data on the MBP where you want it.
    Ciao.

  • Nvidia Geforce 650m driver problem for windows 8.1 on macbook pro

Hey guys. I installed windows 8.1 on my macbook pro (mid2012, Intel core i7, retina, Geforce 650m) of course only for game, but I have a disappointing problem with the graphics driver. First I tried to instal graphics card driver by bootcamp (not the last version, the one before the last) .It started to install drivers one by one starting with graphics card, but suddenly the screen got black and remained black forever! I restarted the windows and guess what! after windows logo it got black and nothing more! Then I installed windows again and tried to install driver from windows update. It checked for update and found the driver for it and downloaded it and started to install, but again the black screen !!! Please help me thanks.

    DemetriAA wrote:
no this does not work. bootcamp drivers are broken for windows 8.1 on an efi install. apple is withholding the discreet gpu drivers from microsoft to trick people into thinking osx is more stable/efficient and thus windows cannot detect which gpu it is supposed to use when it can see both. the discreet gpu is hidden in the fake bios setup that bootcamp wants you to install with. the problem with doing this is that the more powerful gpu is all you can use in windows so the computer runs more hot and is louder which is annoying and hard on the battery life.
thanks apple, if i knew that when i bought the laptop i would have gone with something else.
This is not correct. If you force an EFI installation on a preUEFI Mac, you will see GPU and Audio errors. A non-EFI Hybrid MBR installation works correctly. Does Windows have the ability to switch GPUs? OS X, using external monitors, uses the non-Intel discreet GPU and the machine does not run hot. If Windows can provide dual-GPU support (which they have) and also provide GPU-switching (missing), this can be done. Can it be done for older hardware, highly unlikely. MacRumors has threads with PCI Register changes to expose the Intel GPU and the machine still runs hotter.
    From Bootcamp Info.plist...

  • External Hard drive partitioning for Windows

Hi I have a MacBook Pro and I am trying to download Windows via a Seagate 1 TB external Hard Drive.  I have already used this external hard drive for backups and have it partitioned as an MSDOS with 500 GB and OSEJ also with 500 GB.  When I use Boot Camp Assistant to install Windows 8 it says I need a single drive as FAT partition.  How do I keep the memory on my OSEJ while still installing Windows 8. Thank you!
    John

I don't know what OSEF is, but as far as Boot Camp is concerned only two partitions may exist - the original OS X partition and the Windows partition made by Boot Camp.
I don't know what you are downloading to the external drive. If it is the Windows drivers for Windows on Boot Camp then those you can put on an external drive. But the driver disk can only be used after Windows has been installed and running.

  • PnP Driver, NVIDIA, for Windows 8

In need of some serious assistance.  I did a clean install of Windows 8 Professional on an HP Compaq Presario CQ60-215DX.  Everything went smoothly except there was one driver that didn't download with it labeled "Coprocessor".  Despite the
driver being missing the device runs it superbly HOWEVER I keep getting 2 Important updates; Update for Windows 8 (KB2770917) and Update for Windows 8 (KB2779768).  They download with no problem but after the installation process things
turn red and say their are Errors found, code 800073718, as well as giving a link to "Get help with this error"
When I click this link it takes me to the link "Troubleshoot problems with installing updates," and from there "Tap or click to open the Windows Update troubleshooter."  After running this it gives two possible errors and states them fixed. I go back
to install updates and hit try again and it says I no longer need the updates but when I check for new updates there are the same two all over again.
If I try to update the driver from the device properties it says it can not find one.  The Action Center, however, says it has a solution to my problem and links me to NVIDIA's web site after telling me the problem is:
    Description
Windows detected a new device attached to your computer, but could not find the driver software it needs to make the device usable. Each device manufacturer typically includes driver software of a CD that comes with the device, or as a download from its website.
The hardware ID of your device is PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0753&SUBSYS_360A103C&REV_A2.

So I, of course, go there in attempt to get the driver I need for the chipset. I download to install what I discover is for Windows 7, 15.56-nforce-winvista-win7-32bit-international-whql.exe. Of course
    this is not compatible.
That is why I am now here. Can anyone help me figure this out please.

To fix the Windows Update issue, I suggest you try the 'Fix it' first.

I just upgraded to Windows 8 with a new HP computer but I have lost a fabulous photo editor Photosmart Premier. The drivers on my OEM cd would not install so I have downloaded all the drivers for my C4680 colour printer for Windows 8 but Photosmart was not included. I recently did a clean install of windows 7 enterprise and I lost the option on the sound recording page for stereo mix.  I found a driver update on the toshiba website for my machines realtek sound driver for windows 7 so I tried it and it worked (sort of).  Now I have the stereo mix option set as default but I also cannot make any changes in the sound recording page (the tabs are nor functioning and my cursor spins it's little processing circle when it is over the page).  I can't even close the page without using the option from the task bar and sometimes that fails so I have to use the task manager to close the page.  Anyone else have this problem?

These two drivers should work for your Windows 7. Although they carry the same version and date, they are different files with different sizes. Try them both.
