Photosmart c6150, se reinicia sola

 I have an HP Photosmart C6150, and time had not used it about 2 months when I wanted to turn the printer automatically restarts, after a while to be restarted, turned on normal, but I sent a message that had been off sharply and sometimes because they had turned on a restart, I can do, and you perform the factory reset is holding down # 6, but no longer reset so automatically, as I said, if you turn on normal occasions and works well, but if it gets crazy sometimes and restarting up more than 30 min, if I could help with this thank them very much.

Hola... yo creo que puede ser una alta temperatura que hace que la computadora por proteccion se apague, esa serie imac vino con muchos problemas de ventilacion, y mas de una se le moria la tarjeta madre por OVERHEATING, te recomiendo que vueles al servicio tecnico, no la prendas, lo mas posible es que le pongan un ventilador

  • Having problem with correct color using Photoshop Elements 9 and Hp photosmart c6150.

    Have been trying to print pictures from PSE9 to HP Photosmart C6150 and the colors are overly red and not the same as the original photo.  I tried to get the ICC profile online without any success.  How do I setup my color management on PSE9 and my C6150 to get the best pictures.  I am using HP Premium Plus Photot Paper.

    Delete the editor's preferences: quit it, then restart it (use the button in the welcome screen or organizer) while holding down ctrl+alt+shift. Keep the keys down till you see a window asking if you want to delete the settings file. You do.

  • Photosmart c6150 not printing in Win 7

    I am running WIndows 7 64 bit and I have installed the latest HP drivers for the Photosmart C6150 and it installs correctly. The HP print test page runs fine in wireless and USB. For some reason any windows based print job goes to the spooler and then diappears without printing. I can't even generate a test page from Printer Properties in Windows. The scan function works fine. Any ideas? I opened up all the TCP and UDP ports. Really strange.

    I noticed that your software always fail when using the HP Print and Scan Doctor, with your HP Photosmart c6180, running Windows 7. I am happy to help with this scanning issue!
     For further assistance, I will need to know some more information:
    If the printer is connected, Wireless, Ethernet, or USB.
    If the printer is able to make copies.
    If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
    In the meantime, I would suggest to try the following:
    Uninstall the software. Uninstalling the Printer Software.
    Clean boot the computer. How to perform a clean boot in Windows.
    Re-install using the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows.

  • Photosmart C6150 is stuck in power on cycle.

    My Photosmart C6150 tries to power up, but a few seconds into the process, the  lights all go off, then it tries again...Endlessly. If I didn't pull the plug it would wear itself out repeating this cycle. And of course, this comes at a time that I need the fax function unlike any other time I've owned the machine! Help!

    Well, if you have a hardware problem with either button you are pretty much stuck. The closest I can come to a suggestion is http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808, but this requires pressing the HOME button.
    The stuck button may also be a symptom of a hidden internal hardware problem.

    When I now scan a photo I wind up with a blank black screen in the window where I would normally be able to edit the photo.

    I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to edit your photos on your Photosmart C6150 recently but I will absolutely do my best to lend a hand to help out
    Would I be safe to assume the printer's screen only goes completely black when trying to edit a photo? If you try anything else on the printer (say a copy, a test page, or navigating the Setup menu) do you get the same screen at any time?
    Is the printer plugged directly to a wall outlet? If not, please move it to one.
    Do you have to unplug the printer, or turn it off, to get it back to a regular screen?
    Did you notice any changes or anything prior to this happening?
    Once I hear back from you I will certainly offer some suggestions for you to try

    Por tal motive no te podemos ayudar con el problema.
    Temndras que acudir a otros foros dedicados a la reparacion de iPads.

  • Photosmart C6150 printing slow even when using printer controls

    It started out intermintently printing slow using the PC and the front panel copy button, as if it was switching into high resolution mode.  I checked the driver / printer prefrences and found nothing in high resolution mode.  Recently we have been doing alot of copying from the front panel, not from the computer software, and it got worse.  I checked the quality setting in the printer and even set it to fast.  It would then print a semi-fast sheet  (as if it was fighting itself to print faster but couldn't), then a fast sheet, then the next sheet would be slow again.  After a few times of doing this, it finally stopped printing normal or fast and now it's stuck in high res slow printing mode.  I printed a self test diagnostic page and it printed in less than 60 seconds and showed nothing.  I have also chaned out the drivers on the PC and still nothing.  Could it be a firmware issue and is that something I can flash?

I'd love to help you with this. First, I'd like you to try printing a self test page again: HP Photosmart C6100 All-in-One Series - Printing the Self-Test Diagnostic Page If the test page printed in less than 60 seconds, then I would suggest following the steps here to troubleshoot the driver and settings on your computer:HP All-in-One Printers - Slow Printing in Windows: Computer Issues If the issue persists after these steps, I'd recommend replacing your USB cable (with a smaller one if it is over 6ft long). If the test page took longer that 60 seconds to print, then I would suggest following the steps here to troubleshoot an issue you may be having with the printer hardware:HP All-in-One Printers - Slow Printing in Windows: Hardware Issues Another thing I would suggest, if the printer is slow even from the printer, would be to make sure the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet.   • Hp photosmart C6150 invalid WPA passphrase with new airport base station

    Okay, I had the old flying saucer type base station that worked great wirelessly with my HP all in one C6150 printer. I upgraded to the new square base station and printer still worked fine. Then about a week ago, my printer can no longer find the network. I unplugged it for some time, been using the USB cable for now and can now find the network in the selection list on the printer. The problem is, I keep receiving the error "invalid WPA passphrase" even though it is the correct one. I have tried changing the passwork on the base station, my computers can find it and work great, but the printer doesn't want to accept the passphrase no matter what I try between 8 and 64 digits (mine is 13 digits). I am about ready to chuck everything out the window. I ran updates on the base station and possibly my computer at some point after the initial hookup of the base station. So perhaps the update affected my ability to connect?
    My dad recently visited with his newer macbookpro (I have a powerbook g4 running 10.4.11) and his did not connect to my network even while mine was (at that time). So it leads me to think something in an update mucked it all up but would LOVE to know if anyone else has had this happen and how to fix it!

    Ok. I found a solution that works for me. Taking one of the poster's cue about the installer's confusion over an the presence of both an Airport Extreme and Airport Express(es), I unplugged my AP Expresses such that the installer only saw one access point, the AP Extreme. This time the installer was able to complete the wireless installation.
    I then plugged my AP Expresses back in and found that the printer has no problem with them.
    Apparently, it's the installer that can't handle the multiple access points, not the printer.
    Anyway, it worked for me.

    iTunes displays "Downloading 1 item" "IPad software update (missing 36 minutes)". When you get to "... 5 minutes left" again the message "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode. Should restore this iPad to iTunes to use it"
    Below says "recovery mode iPad" "iTunes is downloading the software for the iPad ...."
    Then as above says "processing file" the message "The iPad software" ... "has been corrupted during download" Disconnect and reconnect ..... "and so I had three days .. . Does anyone know how to restore the iPad correctly?

    ya lo resolvi el problema lo estaba ocacionando una impresora hp laserjet 1022 con conexion usb lo que hice fue apagar la impresora y ya se apaga sin ningun problema muy raro pero ya esta!!

    Trying to get my iPad to wirelessly direct my printer to print a photo.

    Unfortunately, you model of printer does not support direct printing from the iPad. You could possibly try the HP ePrint Home & Biz app available for free on the app store, but your printer is not listed as one of the supported printers for that app either. I have seen sometimes where the app will work with some HP printers that are not on that list, so it wouldn't hurt to try. Just make sure that your iPad is connected to the same wireless network as the printer.
    If you ever decide to upgrade your printer, I suggest one that is AirPrint compatible. If your printer is AirPrint compatible, you can print directly from certain apps on the iPad that allow direct printing. A list of AirPrint supported printers can be found at the following link:

  • Photosmart C6150 Ink cartridges

    I have a great printer I feel, but when I installed new cartridges, two of them will not print. The light magenta and the Magenta they both have expire dates of 10/2011. I've tried cleaning and all other methods any help? Self test page shows those two magentas blank.

    You will need to Contact HP to request a "Regionalization Reset". There should not be any charge for this, it is covered as part of the cartridge warranty. You will need to have access to your computer and printer while on the line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once the reset is complete cartridges from the original region will no longer work.  HP's web page on the subject is here.

  • HP C6150 and Mac OS 10.5.7

    I purchased my HP C6150 in June of 2007 and set up to use it wirelessly. No problems.
    This year I replaced the Mac I was using with a MacBook loaded with Leopard, MAC OS 10.5 and lost the ability to scan.
    I recently updated the Mac OS to 10.5.7 and have lost use of the C6150 entirely.
    When I sent a document to print. Nothing would happen. I have researched this problem, and tried every possible solution. I have reinstalled my operating system including the optional printer drivers, I have reinstalled the HP printer driver update, I have reset printing, I have done all this several times, one at a t ime, and in different order. Nothing works.
    Now, even though driver is installed, I can't locate it through printer & fax preferences pane.
    None of this seems to have affected my use of my HP Laserjet 1320, but my HP Photosmart C6150 has become a very expensive doorstop.
    Help?

    Have you tried using the printer driver that was included with OS X (C6100 Series) instead of the one provided from HP? Unfortunately, HP's driver is from early 2008 which means it may not work with 10.5.7. The driver supplied with OS X should work. However, no guarantee it works wirelessly.
    For scanning you might check out VueScan as an alternative to the HP scanning software. It does support your model. I do not believe VueScan supports wireless scanning.

  • Address book in Hp c6150

     I have a HP photosmart C6150 all in one printer. When I open up the fax window there is on the top left side an area that says Address book. When I click on the button that says select from, another window opens. In the second field their is the word contacts and a dropped down arrow. If you click on the arrow it is supposed to have shared contacts that you should be able to click (this would be your outlook contacts). My drop down doesn't have the choice. HP is no help. How do I get my contacts from outlook w/o having to enter each one manually.
