Photostream not syncing on ATV

Ive been using photostream on my macpro, iPhones, iPad and ATV without any problems but recently I had to reset my ATV. Althought photostream is fin and working well on all my other devices, I can't seem to get it back on ATV. Even taking new photos makes no difference. It just says that my album is empty.
How do I fix this?

I am having the same issue with Photostream. It syncs my iPhone photos perfectly to photostream, but not any of my iPad photos. I have set the iCloud Photostream to stream my photos to ON.
Any Suggestions?

HT201077 photostream not syncing with IPAD and Iphone

After update on 10/11 my mac computer is not syncing with the photos in photostream which have been taken with IPad2 and Iphone 4s that were taken since the 11th. The iphone and the ipad are sync'd together.

Go to the System/iCloud preferenc pane and uncheck Photo Stream and then re-check it.
Then go to iPhoto's Photo Stream preference pane and uncheck all radio buttons checked and then recheck them.

IPad Photostream not syncing

Up until yesterday, my iPad had been syncing photos fine via Photostream.
Now my other devices (iPhone, Aperture on iMac) are still syncing photos fine, but iPad is not.
I've tried turning off and back on Settings > Photo Stream, but no change (except iPad Photo Stream photos now gone).
What's the troubleshooting protocol?

Oh, me too....
So, if you've done the on/off switch thing, then the only other thing that you can try is to switch your view to Albums or Photos on your iPad, and then switch back to the Photo Stream view to see if it is now displaying the newest photos.....
Also, you might want to make sure your Photo app is totally closed on the iPad by doing the double click on the center button to bring up the active apps below the toolbar at the bottom, and then clicking on the "X" for Photos. Then open it back up to see if you see anything....
I checked through past posts, and didn't see any other hints, so give those a try, and fingers crossed!!!

Photostream Not Syncing Win7? Fixed!

If your windows based computer is no longer syncing with Photostream, its time to stop wasting time looking for a solution and look elsewhere like DropBox, etc.. Its become quite obvious over the last few months APPLE NO LONGER SUPPORTS or CARES about win users. Since last fall my updated Photostream fails to stay synced to any of my win7 pc's after trying about every solution posted. Some may work briefly, but they quickly die out........
If this is some kind of marketing ploy to push me into buying a MAC, news flash, its having the opposite effect!!!!!!!!!! Even my Iphone loyalty is dying and the droids are looking better all the time. Have you had issues texting lately?????
Taking about 300 pics/week, Photostream was the most productive and time saving cloud app I have. Not to mention the other cloud sync features (calendar) I have been using since MobileMe. After months of trying different solutions, I just gave up. Kinda like what Apple has done with Win users like me????? Switched to Dropbox for storing and syncing photos a few months back and so far, so good. Still like my old Photostream better when it used to work, but that's in the past now just as Apples quality image is.

Photostream hasn't synced with my Windows 8.1 pc since March 21st. I have working wi-fi, Photostream and My Cloud are both checked within iCloud options yet I'm not getting pictures on my pc.

Photostream not syncing all pic after restore

I just got a replacement 4s. Everything was restored via iCloud. When I check my photostream is only shows 113 pictures when before I got the new phone it had the max of 1000. I have an iPad which has all the photos in the photostream and 2 windows 7 computers that are working fine with it too. I have turned off and back on the photos stream on the iPhone but I still only getting of the 113 pictures. Any suggestions to get all the photos to sync back to the phone?

Home movies not syncing with ATV

I have created some home movies in iMovie. I export them to iTunes. Then, in iTunes, i convert them to ATV. So now, in iTunes, i see 1) the movies i bought from iTunes, and 2) my home movies that i exported and converted. but the problem is that on ATV, i only see the movies i bought, and not the home movies.

Streaming content will not be available on the tv if itunes isn't running, which is one way you could tell if you are syncing or streaming.
Before something can be sent to the tv it needs to be checked. When I say checked I mean in the main itunes window next to it's name (i.e. to check a specific movie, select movies from the library list in the top left hand box in the window. Find your movie in the list in the main window and tick the checkbox to the left of the movies name).

Photostream not syncing on windows 8 64 bit

I have tried everything I can think of to get the photostream synced. Signed in, signed out, signed back in, no good. Uninstalled, reinstalled, no good. Deleted cache files, no good. My photostream folder will show 5 pictures most of the time, and the most I got it up to was 39. Please Helppppppppp!! Apple products are supposed to be seemless.

As of version 2.1 of iCloud Control Panel, it IS supposed to support Windows 8. It says so in this Apple Support article:

That being said, there's obviously some issues with getting it to run on Windows 8. Since I made this post I eventually did get it working, but I tried SO MANY different troubleshooting steps trying to fix it, that I have no idea what it was that actually solved the problem.

Photostream not syncing all photos

Photostream isn't showing all the photos I've taken.
I've updated to Lion, ran all software updates, enabled Photostream, etc. It shows up in iphoto (9.2.1), and most of my shots are there, except for those taken in the last couple days.
Any ideas?

Photostream not syncing

so, i want to send my iphone some photos. so i figured, if i add photos to the photostream section on iphoto, they will also appear on my iphone. but it doesn't. when i delete a photo from my iphone, it goes away from the iphoto so it works from the iphone to mac. but it doesn't work the other way.
recently i changed my apple id, maybe that's why. but i want to add photos to iphone without using a cable.

Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

I was wondering i have photo stream enabled on i cloud and i photo and its still not working ,is there a simple solution that i am missing ?it works with ipad and iphone what am i doing wrong

Please look over the iCloud Setup Instructions and see that you have it set up correctly. Also please complete your profile (look under Your Stuff) in order to get assistance we at least need to know what equipment you have and the OS version you have on them.
Also you don't make any mention of using an IOS 5 device such as a iPhone, this is the minimum needed in order to make Photo Stream work.
Finally there is an iCloud forum, you also may want to post there.

Movies Purchased on ATV will not sync back to iTunes

I've tried "Transfer Purchases" - no good. I've gone to Automatic Sync - no good. The movies and shows I've purchased on the ATV itself will not sync back to my iTunes library, but the movies I purchased from the computer will sync to the ATV. So ... where am I going wrong?

I had exactly this issue. It seems apple is not altogether consistent with regards to this. I phone tech support, and they assured me it was a content issue, as purchases made on the appletv in any content besides hdtv would not be synced back to the itunes library on your computer. However, in talking to the itunes support, they assured me this was an appletv issue.
Eventually they allowed me to download the tv shows I had purchased (standard def) again, allowing me to see them both in appletv, and in itunes so they could be backed up.
Moral of the story is I think, dont purchase shows in standard def in appletv, only purchase through itunes.
Hopefully they will get this sorted out in the next few days, if they update appletv at Macworld, although if its a rights issue, perhaps it wont be that simple.

ATV not syncing all of movies

Just purchased new macbook 2 months ago and aTV; have installed all updates including new itunes update. Everything was working fine until yesterday turned on aTV and about 1/3 of movies in itunes not showing up in aTV and will not sync. Can't figure out why. All my movies are in the same format and were working great last week (syncing/streaming). I can add new movies to itunes and they will sync/stream just fine. I also click in itunes to create aTV movie on one movie that won't sync and it says it is allready in the aTV format. All my movies play in quicktime and itunes just fine. They all sync with ipod touch and play just fine.
Any help would be great.

could be a corrupted iTunes library file... (i.e. not the folder, but the text file that has all the info about the media in iTunes)
just to get it working.. sounds like you could just go to movies in iTunes do select all (Cmd + A)... press delete (when/if asked choose.. don't move to trash) and then select all your movies in the finder and drag them back into the iTunes window again... from what you've said this will likely work too.. might try deleting one and put it back and see if that works first.
or if you wanted to start from scratch... you could actually delete the iTunes library file (it's file in the iTunes folder that holds all the info about what is in iTunes).. remove all the content in iTunes go to movies, music etc and delete everything.. remember to choose not to move to trash. then add it all back (can just grab the containing folder (iTunes folder if that's where everything is) you can take the whole folder and drop it on the iTunes window don't need to select each file.. which would take forever) and you will have a fresh, iTunes Library file.
remember if you have things stored on different drives and you don't want them in the iTunes Folder press ctrl as you are dragging and they will not be copied into the iTunes library and just a reference to their location will be noted in the iTunes library.
[edit] to see the other checkbox just open up iTunes... click music or movies.. does't matter.. look at the list of any media an to the far left of the list are checkboxes... these turn off syncing to iPod and appleTV... maybe you just didn't notice them before? but just in any list of anything has this checkbox off to the far left of the list... there is a checkbox for each piece of media.

IOS 8 PHOTOSTREAM   definitely not syncing properly

PHOTOSTREAM   definitely not syncing properly between IMac (iPhoto) iPad iPhone.   There are many duplicates. When deleted in one does not delete all,
VIDEOS THUMBNAILS MISSING   Only 6/7 video cover pictures are showing, (just the dates on the front of the others) SEE BELOW.
MOVIES   THUMBNAILS MISSING   Only 2/ 25 have the cover pictures showing.
PHOTOS EVENTS not in order- ie: 16 US Open in order in itunes, was in order in old iphone, now all mixed up,
