Photostream pictures only showing up in wallpaper
Help! I was attempting to "backup" my iPhone 4 today and long story short, ended up "restoring" to last September. A phone Apple tech was able to help me restore my contacts and calendar through iCloud but not my photos (through either photostream or "photos"). After looking at my phone for a bit, I went into wallpaper and can see all my recent photos in the "photostream" section. Is there someway to access these photos and add them to my computer or iPhoto? Or even restore them to my phone. They are not in iCloud online, do not show up when I plug my phone into my computer. However, if I look under storage in my phone, it's showing there are 70 photos there. Ideas?
UPDATE
So, in the farm that is working correctly (Integration) the URL to the picture for "Top Contributors" points to the correct library for the profile pics...However, in the farm that is not displaying pictures on all sites, those site that do not
show a profile picture (all but mysite), the path to the picture is NOT correct.
How does the web app know where to find the profile pics?

Pic Only Shows Up As Wallpaper! How Do I Get It Back?
I have a photo in my phone that only appears as the wallpaper when my phone is "asleep." It has never uploaded into iPhoto, and it does not appear in the iPhone's Camera Roll. How do I get it back?
Thanks in advance.Check out the instructions for a work around on this post: https://discussions.apple.com/message/18702732#18702732
This worked for me. I would like to see Apple fix this issue, as it isn't very fun to have to do this for every downloaded book. -
Making a slideshow, but pictures only show for 0,06 seconds
I'm putting together a slideshow with approx 100 pics and a few short videos, but no matter what I do, the pictures end up showing for only 0,06 seconds.
I want the pictures to be adjusted individually, some pictures should be displayed for several seconds, others only for a very short time. Also with different transitions and the lenght of the transition.
I've tried to import all the pictures at once, and then adjust them individually, and I've tried to import one picture after the other and adjust them as I put them into the slideshow, but the same thing happens, the pictures end up showing for only 0,06 seconds. The same thing happens for the transistions.
I also wonder if it is possible to put up text without it having to fade in/out, I want it to be permanent from beginning to end or from the timeI want it to appear to the time I want it to disappear.I've tried to import all the pictures at once, and then adjust them individually, and I've tried to import one picture after the other and adjust them as I put them into the slideshow, but the same thing happens, the pictures end up showing for only 0,06 seconds. Open the "Project Properties" window (File Menu) and reset your default Photo Duration and Transition time entries.
I also wonder if it is possible to put up text without it having to fade in/out, I want it to be permanent from beginning to end or from the timeI want it to appear to the time I want it to disappear.
Click on the blue title ribbon above the video to select it. Then grab the right or left end of the box and drag it until it is as "long" (duration wise) as you want or need and reposition (slide) it if necessary for proper alignment with your video. -
Pictures only showing as pages with corner turned, not photo
I am relatively new to a Blackberry and today after I managed to get to my home wi-fi connection, I've noticed when I got to look at my pictures on the phone, they show as the page (not ripped) and not the view of the photos. I had them and they were fine yesterday and it may not be related to the wi-fi at all as when I was out tonight they also didn't work and I get the titles and when I click on them they show fine but what happened to the view I had of them? It's a pain to scroll through and try to figure out which I made as which title.
Any help would be appreciated
ThanksUPDATE
So, in the farm that is working correctly (Integration) the URL to the picture for "Top Contributors" points to the correct library for the profile pics...However, in the farm that is not displaying pictures on all sites, those site that do not
show a profile picture (all but mysite), the path to the picture is NOT correct.
How does the web app know where to find the profile pics?
ex:

Profile Pictures Only Showing up in Mysite
I have an integration and a qa SP2013 farm. Integration is single server nodes for each tier (1 wfe, 1 app, etc). The QA farm is a redundant farm (2 wfe's, 2 app, etc).
In each of these farms we have setup profile pictures from the "photo" AD property. Our full sync brings the pics into mysites, where I can see them, however, they are not showing up in other web app's. For example, I have a portal web app with
'Community' pages, loading the 'Top Contributers' Web part, however, those contributors' profile pic is not displayed, altough those same contributors' profile pic does show up in their MySite...
Ideas?

I tried updating my iPod 5th gen to iOS 8 but it only shows me a picture of the iTunes logo and a charger at the bottom, I'm not sure what this means or what I need to do. Can someone please help me?
After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup
To restore from backup see:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.
You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store -

My apple TV is not working. The light blinks but the TV only shows the apple picture and nothing happens. Any idea why?
James,
Thank you for the information. I did what you said but it is still not working. My apple box works with my wifi so I think the wife was disconnected and I can't figure out where to go to set up the wifi pass word for the apple box. Any hits would be appreciated if not my next step is to ship back the box to apple.
Thanks,

My podcasts do not show the pictures only the sound when I import them to iTunes from Garage Band. How do I get the pictures to show up in iTunes?
Well, all I can tell you is that if your file is an m4a with chapter markers, those markers having suitably sized images attached, and you drag it into the Music area of iTunes (so that it appears as a song) in List view, when you play it and then command-click on the small image in the header (next to the progress bar) you should see your embedded images.
If this isn't happening the best place to ask would be in the GarageBand forum: my own experience of GB is rather out of date and in any case I've never used it for podcasting. -
I can only get some of my pictures to show up in photo stream on any of my devices. How do I get them all to show?

Only sone picture icons show previews in Finder
I think it's only since Thursday's most recent security update, but when I open a folder containing pictures, only some of the thumbnails show previews. Others just show a generic thumbnail with the file type instead of a preview (jpeg, Raw, etc.). Some folders show all previews, some show some, and others show none. I've made sure that "show icon preview" is checked. Thanks... chas
Select one of the files that isn't showing a thumbnail. Press Command-I to bring up an Info Window. Click in the icon in the upper left corner of the Info Window. It should show a little focus ring hallow around it. Press the Delete button. Does the thumbnail appear in the Finder window? What about in the Preview section of the Info Window?
If it works, you can select all the files that are not showing thumbnails and press Command-Control-I which will bring up a single (Summary) Info Window for the entire selection. Click on the icon in the upper left corner of the Info Window and press Delete. -

My spot removal circle is only showing up in certain parts of my pictures. It shows up in the corner but when i move it to the center of the picture it disappears. It was working fine a little bit ago. Not sure if I accidentally hit something or what. Help!
Hi jared544,
Welcome to the Support Communities!
The article below should help you with this:
iPod not recognized in My Computer and in iTunes for Windows

Usually the resolution is updating the Apple Mobile Device Driver. See the section labeled Verify that the USB Drivers are installed > For Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8 > Update the Apple Mobile Device Driver.
