Photostream share stopped working (either receiving or sending photos).

My photostream share recently stopped working. When I publish photos on my phone to the share, it appears (on my phone) as if they went through, but no one else is receiving the published photos on their devices. I have tried shutting down my phone twice to no avail. I am not receiving photos shared from others either.
(It doesn't appear to be an icloud issue as I can publish from my Mac no problem; just not my phone.)

Thank you. Will I lose all my photos if I do so? The phone prompts that I will. Will they return when I rejoin my shared photostreams?

1. What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
2. If you say that "Video Share" stopped working, what specific export route and settings were you using when the crash occurred and at what stage of the export?
3. How did you set up your project
a. What are the properties of the source media...video and audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, file extension, pixel aspect ratio? What is the duration of the Timeline content?
b. What project preset did you or the project set to match the properties of the source media. If you do not know, please see Edit Menu/Project Settings/General and the readings for Editing Mode, Timebase, Frame Size, and Pixel Aspect Ratio, even if they appear to be grayed out?
4. Basics
a. Are you running the program Run As Administrator and from User Account with Administrative Privileges?
b. Do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere Elements?
c. Is your video card/graphics card up to date according to the web site of the manufacturer of the card? How many video/graphic cards does your computer use, 1 or 2?
c. What is the description for your computer and its resources?

I was having the same problem. Earlier in the week, I was able to drag a few photos to the upload folder and they synced correctly. Yesteday, I dragged different photos, and I got the "applephotostream.exe has stopped working" error.
The solution - for me, at least! - was to reduce the size of the pictures being uploaded to the photostream. While all of the pictures were jpegs, the first set were ca. 800K (3800 x 2500), and the second set were ca. 2.5 MB (4000 x 2000). When I reduced the resolution of the last set by a factor of 4 (ca. 600 K, 2000 x 1500), they uploaded without a hitch.
Based on this admittedly sketchy experiment, it looks like Apple has a max picture size limit, apparently based on file size rather than picture resolution). Perhaps < 1 MB? To be rigorous, I should complete the experiment - leave the resolution of the second set of pictures alone and reduce file size by reducing jpeg quality.
Has anyone heard about a picture file size limit?

TS3989 photostream.exe stopped working.

I keep getting an error that says photostream.exe stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. what can I do? Photostream has been working fine for almost a year. this error just recently occured. I have all latest updates installed.

I had the same problem a week ago on Windows Vista x64 and I fixed it. The thing is that I believe ApplePhotoStreams.exe crash because the iCloud storage has an error on the photo storage. The steps (that I DID) to fix this are the following:
1. Close all your "upload" applications like Dropbox, SkyDrive, iCloud Control Panel (log off), etc.
** on iCloud Control Panel deselect/unmark the option "Photo Stream" and then log out.
2. Once you close all your apps, download the iCloud for PC software, execute and clic on REPAIR.
3. Take your iPhone and plug it to the computer and make a backup on iTunes.
4. Select the option "Wi-Fi Sync on this device" and Apply changes.
5. Connect your iPhone to your Wi-Fi connection, and go to Settings / iCloud / Storage & Backup / clic on "Back Up Now" (I'm assuming that you all guys have the option "Photo Stream: ON"
6. Wait until your backup is done.
7. With this step your iCloud backup and storage will be UPDATED correctly.
8. Open Windows Home / Control Panel / iCloud
9. Log in with your Apple ID
10. Select/mark the option Photo Streaming
And that's all, your Apple Stream services (ApplePhotoStream.exe and ApplePhotoStreamDownloader.exe) SHOULD NOT CRASH and should work fine.

If you want to sync content that is on your iPod Classic to your iPad, it needs to be in your iTunes library first, if it isn't already. From there, you can configure your iPad to sync all this content from under the appropriate tabs.

Create a new account (systempreferences -> accounts or Users & Groups on 10.7) and see if the problem is repeated there. If it is, then a re-install of the app might be indicated. If it's not, then it's likely the app is okay and the problem is something in the main account.

PSE 7 stops working when trying to send e-mail

I am running PSE 7, Vista 64. When I try to send a pic using e-mail attachment thru Adobe e-mail svc (AOL e-mail account), PSE 7 crashes. I get a Windows msg saying the PSE 7 stopped working & Windows closes PSE 7. I can see the e-mail msg, but no go. Help.

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.
Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.

Charm App Share Stopped working

Hello. I hope someone knows a fix for my 'Share" app on my Charm bar, because it has stopped working, and I used it a lot.
I get the message "Something went wrong with this app. Try again later." Later never works.
I have a P840T-ST4N02 laptop.
Any ideas?

Lightroom 5 stops working after trying to email photos within LR and using Outlook 2013

I recently upgraded to Lightroom 5 and was tryinhg to email some photo via the Lightoom Send Email dialog. My default email is Outlook 2013 and I am using Windows 7 64bit. When the dialog is filled and send email is selected LR 5 says "Lightroom has stopped working". I think there may be an issue with the email.dll in LR5. I have seen where others not using Outlook 2013 seems to be having success. Looks like LR5 and Outlook 2013 not playing together nicely. Any help or getting this issue elevated to Adobe higher support appreciated.

Okay, I figured it out.
I would clear the cache while the page was still being viewed in a window, and for some reason that didn't actually clear the cache. So that's the browser's being a good little browser, but it's annoying because it should clear everything.
iWeb also has a problem in that is tells pages to cache forever, so the browsers are only doing what they're told.
Close the window, clear the cache, good to go.

Itunes has stopped working message whenever I sync photos to my iphone

I am using itunes 10.4.1.10 (the latest) and an iPhone (4.2.10) on windows 7. I have always used itunes to sync photos to my iphone and it was working great. For the last month or so itunes stops working when it gets to the photo optimization and sync. I recieve a message that itunes has stopped working. I have deleted the ipod photo cashe folder several times with no effect. The phone syncs fine if I do not select any photos. I have tried different photo folders and the same thing happens. It seems to be volume related but it worked perfectly in the past. Please help! I love having my photos on my phone.

Photostream is working on my iphone but no photos are coming through to my ipad for days.Everything is on wifi so thats not the problem.

Make sure that the My Photo Stream and iCloud Photo Sharing are enabled in the Photos/iCloud preference pane.
If they are then disable them, reboot, reenable and try again. The My Photo Stream can be seen in the sidebar which is activated with this menu option:
If you were using iPhoto 9.6.1 before upgrading to 10.10.3 you can still use iPhoto and your iPhoto library. The iPhoto application is still in the Applications folder. It was just replaced in the Dock by Photos.
