PI Objects Lock/Unlock issue

Hi All,
ABAP User is not able to unlock the lock objects in PI , after login to PI -
> going to Administration Tab ---> Lock overview -
> in this screen user is not getting the check box beside the name of the object, so that he can select the locked objects ,check it and Unlock it.
Please suggest PI is new to me. Your help will be appreciable.

Hi Bajpai,
Can you able to login into IR and ID with the same user? If yes then you should be able to see it else you might dont have any lock objects. So check it out once again. Also make sure you check the correct tab because you have locks for both Repository and Directory.
If you want to test it open IR and then open any mapping or any object and go to edit mode and then you should be able to see it in the locks tab.

I just bought this C3-01 touch and type phone and it got big issue of locking/unlocking key pad..
phone gets locked and even if I click on keylock button and then click unlock (on touch screen) then it never gets unlocked.. (I checked guide it says same thing)

1st Of All, If u just got oyur Nokia C3-01 Device, then You must be having the old version of SOftware in it, maybe v05.68. So In that SW, You have to press the unlock, there is no swipe to unlock,
So, You can clearly see, there is a Button at the Right of your mobile below the Volume Buttons (Right If you Have your Device Screen Facing you, Left If you ahve the Back Battery Cover Facing You)
So Press that Button, you will see your display glow showing " UNLOCK " option in the middle, Press It.
It will get Unlock.
Also, after Unlocking, Before adding anything to Phone Memory (like contacts, messages,etc) make sure to update your Mobile FW/SW to the latest version out there (which is v06.05)
So, If you have a PC with internet connection, connect your Device with USB, and Use Nokia Software Updater (Or Nokia Ovi Suite, whatever you have got Installed In your PC) and Start Updating ASAP, Alot Of Bug Fixes have been Taken Place,
If Still Not Unlocked, RETURN YOUR DEVICE NOW, because your Device is Faulty.

Entity Lock Unlock issue

Dear All,
We are facing one issue with locking and unlocking of entities
Locking of period from April to February (11 months) 1100 entities takes 40 seconds - We lock top parent and last period February
Unlocing top most parent for single month of February (Last locked period) takes 840 seconds
Java heap file parameter is set to optimum
Othe HFM application on same server does not give such problem
Further this happens on development server and on production everything is fine with the same application (It does not take such long time)
Environment is Windows 2003, HFM Version 9.3
Can anyone please guide on the same

While I don't have a solution to this I can also vouch to the same odd behaviour.
In our Dev environment, lock / unlock are not too different in timing; however in production unlocking takes a significantly longer amount of time.
As our dev environment sees practically no activity, I would think that perhaps the issue has something app utilization? One way to test this I guess would be to restart the app over a weekend and do a quick test of lock / unlock time before users get into the system?

Enqueue/Dequeue - Locking/Unlocking object

Hi all,
Please help me working with this enqueue/dequeue command. What I'm trying to do is to lock a Service Order. My requirement is to do a BDC for the Service Order Settlement Rule. So after hitting SAVE, a secondary process will be kicked off to perform my BDC for the same order. Now what Im doubting is that what if user re-enter the same Service Order again so quick. So my BDC program will not be performed immediately since it will be locked by the usser.
So my idea is to lock it first while my BDC program is still running. Any help please? Thanks.

Nope. Just 1 BDC -on my 2nd program only. Or to make it simple, I have modified ZXWOCU07 (IWO10009) to perform/kick off a call function( this is being triggered after hitting on SAVE). And this FM contains my checking if SO is now open for change then do the do the BDC.
What I'm thinking is to lock first the SO to block any user from accessing that SO, so it will do the BDC first. But I'm not yet familiar with the locking/unlocking of objects. Please help me on how to use enqueue or locking object.

Custom Lock objects few question issues

Hello guys , i create a custom lock object for my z tables ( ZFISGC_MCFG ) which have 3 key field
MANDT
ID_EMPRESA
CL_MVTOSGC
now in my program doing testing i put a break point after the ENQUEUE_ of the lock object
then when i go to the sm30 and try modif the value of the entry using the same key i pass to the ENQUEUE_ fm i can modif and save the entry now i am now if that is the right workflow in custom object lock or if i am doing something wrong , this is how i can the enqueue FM:

You have to remember that SAP locks are logical locks, not physical. This means that whatever you enqueue is not physically locked from changes. You have to ensure that any program that tries to update your table, first checks these locks and stops the update if it finds that it is already locked.

HR ALE error 'Object locked'

Hi,
I am using PFAL transaction to transfer HR master data from source to target partner. After collecting the IDOCs (process idocs using a backgroup program in partner profile) I am scheduling a backgroup job of RBDAPP01 program to post the IDOCS. Its taking lot of time and many IDOCs are coming with status 51 (Object locked). Please guide me what could be the problem.

Object locking issue is due to some one in PRD open the the object in Edit mode... and you are trying to post or update the data for the same object ... causing you idoc to filed for with OBJECT Locking issues....
Generally idoc process will be taking place early morning or later evening... it also depend on zone ..
reprocess will resolve you issue..... make sure that ... object is unlocked....
Some time this type of idoc errors is common in PRD...

CProjects Object Locked for replication

Hi All,
I'm getting an error when i tried change an project which is already created in the cProjects it says object locked for replication. I've checked out all the queues and they all empty. did anyone knows how to rectify this or anyother transaction to unlock this.

Lock/unlock and charging sound.

Yesterday night at 12:35am my lumia 535 phone lock/ unlock and charging sound was not work. So can. I or you please resolve this issue.

Press the Volume key. Then tap on the down arrow at the right. Finally increase the volume for Ringer + Notifications by sliding the bar to the right.

Window not refreshing after lock/unlock screen.

I've noticed an issue where if I lock the screen (windows key + L) before the visible property of some component is changed, then unlock the screen, the component visibility is not updated until I mouse over the JavaFX application window.
I'm including some sample code to demonstrate the problem. To use:
1. Run.
2. Click the button.
3. Lock the screen.
4. Wait 15 seconds.
5. Unlock the screen, but do not touch the mouse.
6. Verify that the progress indicator animation is still visible, but is not animated.
7. Mouse over the application window.
8. Verify that the progress indicator disappears.
In addition, if steps 3-7 are not executed, the behavior is as I would expect... The progress indicator disappears 15 seconds after the button is clicked.
Does anyone have any ideas on a workaround that would force a UI update when the screen is unlocked?

1 )According to my understanding can I say
All objects in a request will be locked if the request is not released.
All objects in a request will be unlocked if the request is released.
2 )My question is what locks the objects.
3)Any other cases which will have objects in unlocked status in a request which is not released.

Object locked by ALE Remote

Hi all,
My load has been fail bcoz of Object locked by the ALE REMOTE. But when i saw der r some LUWs Struct in the TRFC so i have executed them n my load is successfull.
Now the issue is the request is Green in the RSMO and all the records has been transferred Successfully, but in detail tab its showing the Process Chains : Errors occurred,
And also the same request is not green in the Manage tab of the Data Target.
Shud i change the status to green forcefully, bcoz when i place the cursor on the request it showing that object is locked by the ALEREMOTE.

see if you are monitoring Changerun in Bi7 it will create many kind of jobs . first Bi_Chang *,bi_ACTI,BI_COND ...
and the the main job get finished ..
So once you check in the infoobject list whether infoobject are
present in that list ..if not there then it changerun will not activate any ..
Go to RSA1 >>> tools >> Apply Hierachy /attribute changes ..

Charm without Cross system object lock

Dear All,
We have requirement for configuration of Charm without cross system object lock i.e. solution manager will be used for documentation but create, release, import request from the development system itself.
Can we make changes in the functionality and use charm for documentation only?
if anyone has the same requirement can you please let me know steps to be followed.

Thanks for the reply.
Our project has just gone live and issues immediate resolution is being carried. Charm will integrate with system and training is required for that which at this point of time not possible but at the same time without affecting the issue resolution we want to log the changes in solution manager.
We will use the CSOL feature may be some time later.
At present i have not activate CSOL, still the document doesn't flow through. Document got stuck at "In development" phase and doesn't move forward. It doesn't allow to change the status.

Hi ,
When Iam trying to run a ASO cube which has 22 dimension thru .msh which will refresh the outline and then loads the data i.e full load. Iam facing this below error
WARNING - 1053010 - Object [cust] is already locked by user [abc].
I tried by unlock the rule files its not working out. Could you please help me what would be the problem ?

I am suddenly getting the same error (started last week) during my scheduled cube builds. I have all the above commands in my script. There are no users logged in and no objects. The error is actually stating that the current user (the id used for the cube build) has the object locked. This occurs every morning on all my daily cubes. When i manually execute the cube build scripts after the error occurs, they work fine. Some additional notes. The Server is brought down every night and is brought back up every morning at 5am. The cube builds kick off at 7am. I cannot figure out what could be causing this, since it's been working fine for the last couple of years.

in srm, idoc is getting failed with error' object locked'
there are a no of 51 statuses(arond 25) in the idoc with error C (job ) types objects stating as locked.(different C object in each every 51 status)

Object Locked under deleted TR, SAP Note 100409

Hi All,
We tried to implement SAP Note 100409 in TR1, but it showed an error, so we cancelled the operation, deleted the object from TR, ran SE03, and then deleted TR1.
Now when we try to implement the same SAP Note using TR2, it shows an error that the object ZKAOIDE0 is locked under TR1. Could someone tell me if its possible to unlock that object now? Or is there any other note which can be implement instead of this one.

Object name mentioned is a Z-object. What kind of object it is? If Z object, OSS note for custom object!!!???
Go to version management and check if you can see this object locked under TR1. It could be that buffers was not cleared. Always remember, while implementing OSS notes if the changes needs to be reverted, then you shouldn't go by deleting the object from TR. It wont delete the changes.
You have to reset the implementation from SNOTE t-code and then unlock the objects.
You can check the object list of the TR in E071 table..
