  • [SLD] Problems with Export

    Hi,
    I have to move from development to test-system, so I did an export
    of design objects and the admin import this file into the new system.
    He didn't create the Business Systems, Technical System, SWK or
    Product in SLD, so I thought I could do this manuelly. I created all
    object with same name as in development system, but in directory
    he couldn't find all interfaces while defining determination and agreements.
    So I found in another thread, that I have to export the SLD objects because
    of an ID they have, is this correct?
    Is it normal, that I can't edit design objects after import in new system or is
    it because of authorisation?
    The manual "How To…Handle the SLD for SAP XI" describes how to export
    objects from SLD, but when I try to download the export file a error occurs:
    "The requested resource does not exist." But only with BS and TS. The product
    and SWK could be download normally. Any ideas why?
    The correct way of exporting is:
    -Export/Import technical system
    -Export/Import business system
    -Export/Import product
    -Export/Import SWK
    -Export/Import design objects
    -Create configuration objects (communication channel and so on)
    Correct??
    Thanks
    chris

    Hi,
    I didn't create transport targets. As far as I understood, these are necessary
    to connect groups of Business Systems within ONE SLD. I have to
    tranpsort those objects from one server to another. Correct?
    Your are right. Normally I shouldn't develop on a test system. I was just
    curious why it wasn't editable anymore.
    But I still got this problem with my export. An idea why I can't download the
    file?
    @Prashanth
    I've seen this before, but I'm not sure if I'm able
    to install this on all systems (authorization). And
    is this really necessary, if I normally can simple export
    the objects as file?
    thanks

  • SLD problem with transaction SLDCHECK

    Hi,
    I am configuring XI 3.0Sr1 to worK with SLD on Netweaver 04 stack 10, everything is good until I come to test the connection with the transaction SLDCHECK.
    What happens is that a browser window is displayed with the SLD server address in the address bar, but no content.  The XI check passes successfully.
    Having debugged the transaction the prblem seems to lie within the call to a function module "SLDJAVA_ACCESSOR_REQUEST" at RFC destination "SAPSLDAPI".
    the function module returns with a sy-subrc of 8 and the following message in the s-msgv1 - 4 parameters.
    "AbapSLDRequestHandler.execEnumerateInstances(): Invalid begin of response [expected: 'HTTP', found:'´###############ö###9Packet length (1347375956) bigger than the max specified!ö####ö###Yjavax.jms.J尀倀爀"
    The SLD communicates correctly using RZ10 and I have set up the connection in SLDAPICUST.
    Does anybody have any idea what the problem might be as I am running out of ideas.
    Thanks in advance
    Ed.

    Hi,
    I managed to get the full java error (by using a different browser).  The following now appears in the browser window when you rin SLDCHECK.

    Hi guys,
    I have a scenario in which i have a central SLD for developement and quality servers.
    I am pointing developement SLD to quality SLD . In the technical system i can see both developement and quality
    server
      But there is no entry in software catalog.The error i am getting while importing SWCV " java.lang.null.pointer".

  • SLD Problems

    Hi ,
    I have Nw2004s with ABAP + java stack on DEV machine in windows and other Nw2004s JAVA stack with EP installed on QUA machine.
    Now i have to configure SLD in DEV using http://DEVhostname:50000/sld and add the system QUA to its SLD
    I added system DEV from SLd option from browser.
    Step 1 error: i login to http://DEVhostnem:50000/sld and i can see the error as "System landscape directorry server is not  started and Local system only can be administred"
    Step2: the same error is availabe in other system DEV

    Hi,
    For this you need to configure the SLD.
    Go to Visual admin.
    Under services go to SLD data supplier----> HTTP settings
    give the parameter of your SLD.
    Also under the tab CIM client settings, just tick these jar files:
    sap.com/tclmwebadminmainframewd/webdynpro/public/lib/app.jar
    sap.com/tclmwebadminsldwd//webdynpro/public/lib/app.jar
    By this the error: "Only local system can be administered" will not appear.
    Also go to the SLD page,
    Under the Administrion tab -
    > profile
    slect server settings from the dropdown and give the required parameters, write protection= none.
    Also under admin tab
    start server.
    Also make sure that the SLD machine to which you have registered is up and running.
    Hope this will solve your problem
    Regards,
    Nayana

  • Central sld problems ?

    Hi Guys,
    The scenario is like this.
    1. Central SLD installed on solution manager
    2. We are trying to connect an XI BOX to this central SLD.
    Steps did in XI BOX:
    1. SLDAPICUST - points to SLD host.
    2. Exchange Profile - values set for Connections like cr.name and landscape.name.
    3. SLD Data supplier - in visadm - points to Central SLD - due to this, The Java stack of XIBOX is listed as a technical system in central SLD and data collection works correctly.
    3. JcoRfc Destination - LCRSAPRFC_XIBOX - program id registerd in visadm with gateway host and service as XIBOX gateway service itself.
    Steps did in Central SLD:
    1. Jco Rfc Destination - SAPSLDAPI_XIBOX - program id registered in visadm with gateway host and service as that of the XIBOX.
    2. SLD Data Supplier - points to sld itself and when data collection is done - sld itself is added as a technical system in SLD.
    Problems:
    1. IR and ID are not regsitered in SLD under Technical Systems of type Exchange Infrastructure
    2. when trying to import the SWCV from the sld getting the message as "unable to read the data from the centralsldhostname:50000"
    3. when i do the cache notifications in ID, i am getting the error as unable to determine the central adapter engine.
    4. Adapters not listed under adapter monitoring
    5 when i go the administration cache overview, i am not seeing the adapter meta data like af.server
    checked the settings according to 720717, 768148, 939592.
    any help would be really appreciated
    Thanks,
    Srini

    Hi Agasthuri,
    I dont have any issues with the SLDCHECK and it works fine. I have already done the reimporting of the basis component.

  • SLD problem while creating JCO

    Hi all,
               I am creating JCO from WebDynpro Content Administration for a RFC model but when I go to JCO connections it don't allow me to create. The link is disabled and when I "check SLD" it gives error "Connection to System Landscape Directory (SLD) could not opended successfully"
    can any one help me in this?
    Thanks
    Ninad

    Hi,
    You can check and modify the SLD configuration settings of the J2EE Engine using the Visual Administrator. Log on as an administrator user and double click on Server  ->  Services  ->  SLD Data Supplier.
    Switch to tab CIM Client Generation Settings. If the HTTP connection parameters host, port, user and password are not set, then the SLD is not configured to be used by Web Dynpro applications. Configure the parameters with the values of the central SLD system and save the configuration. Select CIMClient Test to test if the configuration data is correct and the connection to SLD could be established.

  • Integration component - SLD problem

    Hi,
    I had to reinstall Integration component. After that there are no sap databases in SLD. I created them by my own, set everything correctly, tested conection and get message that it works. I import scenario package and set inbound channel, sender and receiver system. The scenario creates SO based on Goods Receipt PO. It works before reinstall but now it doesn't. I mean, B1if doesn't get any B1 Event from that database. I created new company in SAP and it was automatically added to SLD, and events from that database appear in B1if. I set EventSender and it didn't help.
    Has anyone an idea why my scenario doesn't work with systems I created in SLD?
    Regards
    Szymon

    Hi
    Can you please check the SysID is same for new company.
    else just check all step and revised,  I am sure package is searching the OLD SysID  even thot it no more exist.
    Thanks

    Error: com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.ConfigException: Some of the IS access information is not available. SLDAccess property may be set to true, but SLD is not available.

  • PI Export and Import

    Hi ,
    I have two PI server and one ECC server, Now the problem is after completion of development in one server i have to test the same interfaces in another PI server. But this not quality server, in this case what i have to do?. I exported the product and business system from 1st server and imported in another server SLD. In 2nd server i imported Business system from SLD, problem is when in import the ID objects it throwing error with business system.
    Regards,
    Manigandan

    Hi Manigandan
    From the error, it looks like ECC800_D is not maintained in the SLD of your 2nd PI system.
    This needs to be maintained there. If ECC800_D should be replaced with a different Business System in the 2nd system, you need to maintain both ECC800_D and the "new" Business System in the SLD, and then set the transport target.
    This can be done by selecting the "new" Business System, click on Transport tab, and add the Source Business System as ECC800_D.

  • Not listing all adapter egines in CIM after J2EE restart

    Dear all,
    i have utlized note 764176 - Error in XI due to inconsistent SLD entries.
    I have done the steps which are stated in the note. One of them being restarting the J2EE server.
    After restarting the J2EE server it registers and makes some entries in the CIM. For example the Adapterframework for the system. However, it only enters the XI adapter as an Adapter Service in the CIM.
    None of the other services are listed.
    Any suggestions?
    I am able to see the rest, i.e. Integration Server etc.
    Can you please help

    I don't know what is wrong.<br>
    I have configured:<br>
    - SLDCHECK work properly,<br>
    - none of the users PI* type not lock,<br>
    - password to the PI* users in exchangeProfile entered correctly,<br>
    - In VA in the JCo RFC Provider I have properly configure: AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER, LCRSAPRFC, SAPSLDAPI_SID - from the ABAP I can connect to this programs ID<br>
    - In VA in SLD Data Supplier I have properly configure bookmarks HTTP Settings and CIM Client Generation Settings. CIMClient Test is OK<br>
    <br>
    I do not know what else I can see, what else I have properly configured ... I looked at the notes:: 936093 jak i 721548...<br>
    <br>
    <br>
    2. I can't send data from XI to SLD, ie makes me a system definition in Web As Abap and Web as Java but nothing appear to me in Exchange Infrastructure. Exchange Infrastructure is empty - what is wrong??<br>
    I carried out the recommendation by 764176 and 1031321 notes<br>
    <br>
    I restart below applications (no effect)...<br>
    com.sap.xi.directory (Integration Builder/Configuration)<br>
    com.sap.aii.af.app (Adapter Engine)<br>
    com.sap.xi.rwb (Runtime Workbench)<br>
    com.sap.xi.repository (Integration Builder/Design)<br>
    <br>
    Can I ask for help and guidance in these topics?<br>
    <br>
    Regards<br>
    RP<br>

    I increased logging in the NWA (Configuration -> Log Configuration) - and increased the some things here to log ALL. So that from the NWA (Monitoring -> Logs and Traces) I see a little more information (but does not follow that with which the user is a problem).<br>
    <br>
    Here are some interesting logs ...<br>
    I was most rash or irritation of those that say about the lack of credentials u2013 I must use Viusal Administrator and set good service ...<br>
    <br>
    What do I have done:<br>
    In the Visual Administrator -> Cluster -> Server -> Services -> SLD Data Supplier<br>
    I have set in the HTTP Settings tab the host and port SLD, the user name and password is also entered as it is in the SLD. To be sure, already have set for the user entered here such roles as:<br>
    SAP_SLD_ADMINISTRATOR<br>
    SAP_SLD_CONFIGURATOR<br>
    SAP_SLD_DEVELOPER<br>
    SAP_SLD_GUEST<br>
    SAP_SLD_ORGANIZER<br>
    Maybe we are talking in this place about a different user?<br>
    <br>
    Similarly, when it comes to tab CIM Client Generation Settings - here's all the same thing done. CIMClient test shows that everything is OK.<br>
    When I click the button: This trigger the transfer of data to the SLD gets the message that everything was shipped correctly. Indeed, I received an instance of JAVA in SLD<br>
    Also clicked on this icon: Assign application roles to user group - got information that everything is attached properly.<br>
    <br>
    By ABAP side, the connections: INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI, SAPSLDAPI, LCRSAPRFC, AI_RUNTIME_JCOSERVER and AI_DIRECTORY_JCOSERVER work correctly, ie I can perform the test - which means that programs ID are properly positioned in JCO Provider in VA.<br>
    <br>
    Puzzling is this message:<br>
    The SLD data is inconsistent.<br>
    <br>
    Strange also that the message (from the ABAP everything is available in SMGW no errors):<br>
    Connect to SAP gateway failed<br>
    <br>
    And what is this error:<br>
    <br>
