PI7.0 and 7.1 certification

Hi  Experts,
This is a question to all those who know about PI7.0 and 7.1 certification.I wish to know , the BIT402 and 403, are they some study material/ soft/hard copy or some kind of hands on training.
Please tell me because some body told me , they dont exist, but actually a training provided by SAP certified study centers.
I also wish to know, during e - learning, do they provide, any soft copy VIDEOS ,, for self learning/ training.?
Pls let me know.
Regards,
Arnab.

Hi Krisha,
Hav you appeared / planning to appear for any PI certification [ Associate developer TYBIT40_71 ]  .  before providing me with a link, i guess, you looked at the question properly. The link that  you have provided me is a forum question placed by me itself, sometime ago.
My query is , in PI7.1 / 7.0 certification , there is a TBIT called BIT402 and BIT403....My query was, like TBIT40, does it exist as Hard / soft copies,, or is it actually a HANDS ON TRAINING.
I hav gone through al SAP site information. So if there is any 1 who has done the traing/ certification, reply me based on your experience.
Regards,
Arnab.

  • Difference between Tech-Ed and Normal SAP Certification

    Hi,
Is there any difference between SAP TechEd certification and other Normal certification (Other than Tech-Ed, conducted by SAP) ?
I am planning to give C_TBIT51_70, which is not in TechED
    (TBIT40,TBIT50 and TBIT51).
Is there any experts who cleared this exam, please provide your inputs.
    Thank you.
    Shylesh

    Hi Shyl,
    The most important differences are:
    1) The evaluation criteria and pass percentage !!
    2) Certification fee
    1) In teched, you will not be given any partial credit but the pass percentage is less than that of the exams which you take in other months.
For me the normal certfication pass percentage was 70 % for which the same in teched was 57% BUT REMEMBER NO PARTIAL CREDIT IN TECHED.
but the normal monthly exams would be granted partial marks for each question but percentage is 70.
    2) The certification fee in teched also differs in the case. its less than that of direct certification.
BUT MY SUGGESTION IS GO FOR TECHED SINCE YOU LL HAVE GOOD EXPOSURE ON THE TECHNLOGY YOU DO. NEVER MISS IT!!
    Hope it helps!!
    Thanks!

  • Most useful (and difficult too) certification -for developer

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement that - i need to recommend to my management about a very useful certification - one that marks a quite high level of skill too. and this is for Development track -not on DBA track. The release is at least Oracle 10g . Which one would fit this need? They flatly tell me that ocp is just so easy and they want to find a better one.
Is Oracle expert on Pl/sql the one that is best choice based on this need? (we don't use oracle application developer so , while I know there is a certificaiton there, it is not relevant to us).
    thanks

  • How is valid Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist certification

    Hi ,
Before 2 years(2013) i take  Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 Specialist certification, and i want to ask you,  is still valid there this certification, or should I take the exam again to take certification.
    Thank you :)

This certification is "permanent", you don't need to recertify.
If you also took the additional exams needed for a MCSD, then yes, you would need to recertify every two years in order to maintain the MCSD. But the TS certification that you get by passing exam 70-480 does not require recertification.

  • Difference Between PI7.0 and PI7.1

  • Oracle 8i and Oracle 9i Certification

Im working on getting my Oracle DBA for version 8i. I have taken and passed the first exam. Im wondering if it would be better for me to discontinue taking the version 8i exams and start taking the version 9i exams. In other words is version 8i still in demand or is 9i the DBA certification of choice?

    Hi Davis,
If you go for 8i then you will have to go thru an upgrade exam for 9i. The other option as you mentioned is to go for 9i directly which I feel will expose you only to 9i and not with the drawbacks of 8i. If you ask anybody he/she will definitely guide you to go for 9i directly because as it is you will have to upgrade in the future. But if you go for 8i first and then for 9i you gain 2 certifications which will expose you to Oracle8i and 9i. As far as demand is concerned both Oracle8i and Oracle9i have their own market place and it will take some time till 9i takes over the 8i market. I suggest go for 8i and then upgrade to 9i for gaining knowledge of both 8i and 9i. ALL THE BEST...

    Hi everyone,
I am done with the instructed led training from Oracle University for Oracle SCM Apps(ESSENTIALS, INV, PUR, OM).
I would like to take the basic certifications like 1Z0-204 (ESSENTIALS), 1Z0-225 (INV and PUR) and 1Z0-226 (INV and OM) for further growth opportunities. Since i am totally new to SCM field, i would like to know if the materials(Student Guides) given by Oracle University would be sufficient for my preparation or should i have some implementation exp before i take up these exams.
Please note i am not asking for dumps, just want to know if the materials given by ORACLE UNIVERSITY are enough for my preparations. Are questions based out of those slides or do they come from implementation exp as well. Seniors who have recently taken up these exams, please guide me.
I already have 4 yrs exp in I.T. . would be shifting to Oracle SCM Apps in the near future.

Krishnakumar NI never attempted those exams but I can speak of my experience with 11i/R12 Sysadmin, Apps DBA, and 9i/10g/11g OCP certification that most questions are from the student guides. However, having experience with implementation might make it easier for you.

Uday0) Warning: Dont publish your Oracle Testing Id. or Prometric Id. on this website, it would be a breach of the NDA you have agreed to.
0.1) Register with certview.oracle.com ... it helps to know where you are at..
    1) Identify your Prometric Number that you took your prometric exam under.
    2) Identify your Oracle Testing Id. you have under Pearson VUE.
    3) If they are the same all is ok.
    4) If they are different full details of both will need to goto Pearson VUE requesting a merge. (I haven't recently checked the FAQs for updates on this procedure.
    5) Dont try to request a merge while you certview regsitration is in progress.

  • NetWeaver 2004 and NetWeaver 2004s Certification

    Dear all,
Would like to take exam on NetWeaver 2004 Web AS for Oracle.
Going to take it in March or April.
Just wondering how long is this Netweaver 2004 going to last for? I saw from the marketplace that 2004 is the lastest certification you can get on Netweaver WEB AS. And when do we have 2004s WEB AS exam? Don't want to take the exam that is going to expire soon.
Appreciate if someone can tell something about this.

  • SOA Landscape with PI7.1 and ECC

    Hello Everybody,
I was reading through few documentation and communication thread but could not able to get the exact answer for the below question.
    1. What is SOA Architecture "Technically"?
    2. How do we link SOA with PI7.1?
    3. What is the procedure to implement SOA?
    4. After implementation how we need to link PI7.1, ECC and Portal?
Appreciate your answer or any link specific to above questions.
    Thanks,
    Dhill

    > What is SOA Architecture "Technically"?
SOA is service oriented Architecture. In a simple step think about a web service which is part of SOA.
    >How do we link SOA with PI7.1?
Through PI 7.1 you can create, register and host web service  for the external systems.  So PI 7.1 is considered as SOA middleware.
    >3. What is the procedure to implement SOA?
Let us consider hosting webservice through PI. That means you might need to create scenario and use say soap sender adapter. After that you can register webservice using service registry tool and let others to consume your hosted webservice.
    >4. After implementation how we need to link PI7.1, ECC and Portal?
Say host webservice using sender interface and soap adaper on the sender side.  Use proxy on the receiver side. Provide WSDL to the portal team and let portal team consume your webservice using pi7.1 on the sender.  If you create soap(webservice) to proxy scenario(receiver)  using  PI, you can connect portal to ecc via pi 7.1.
