Picking is greyed out while i create delivery in Consignment Fill Up.
I'm able to create Consignment sales
Scenario:
Comp A --> Comp B --> Customer
but Material should be remain in CompA value vise
Only Inventory of Comp B will be hit.

hi,
you need to check in two areas:
OVLP - Item Not relevant for picking in item category.
LT03 or subsequent functions at delivery level - for transfer order.

You mean to say that the Company Code Data Section is Greyed out.
From your message i understood that you are trying to create a Customer in XD01.
If that is so give your Company Code in the Company Code Field in the initial screen.

The problem is that the END DATE is greyed out ,how do we enable it,is it a configuration setting or some code change in the function module

Deploy to single managed server checked and greyed out while performing upgrade to EPM 11.1.2.4

Hi Gurus,
We are trying to upgrade EPM from 11.1.2.2 to EPM 11.1.2.4 and have applied the maintenance release successfully.
Issue:
When we are trying to configure EPM 11.1.2.4 and are providing the same Shared Service database details, at the summary screen, we are not able to uncheck the option "Deploy to Single Managed server" which is checked and is greyed out.
We have tried the following:
1. We updated the HSS_COMPONENT_PROPERTY_VALUE table and updated the PROPERTY_NAME "isCompact" to false.
2. Modified the config.xml file located at EPMSystem/config and epmsystem1/config to remove the property for compactState.
We are still having the issue where we are not able to uncheck the option for Compact Deployment. Any help would be appreciated.

As it is a maintenance release and it deployed as a single managed server then you will not be able to change the deployment type when applying the maintenance release.
There is a procedure to change a deployment type from compact to single managed server that I created as an internal document.
you may want to give it a go but you would need to test this first as this was an in house test that I carried out.
Hyperion Planning - Version 11.1.2.2.300 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
The scenario:
EPM system 11.1.2.3 was configured and deployed as a single managed server compact deployment so that only one JVM was used for all products EPMServer0.
Later on, due to performance issues, the decision was made to go for using a JVM for each product and get rid of the compact deployment.
The administrator went ahead and redeployed the application servers individually into their own JVM.
However everytime the webserver is reconfigured, the weblogicCluster entry in the OHS file mod_wl_ohs has 2 servers, one for EPMSserver running on port 9000 and another server running on the product default port (as if it was being load balanced)
The aim:
It is clear that initial compact deployment has not been cleared from the EPM environment and the aim in this exercise is to clear the registry and the file system so that the compact deployment is removed fromthe EPMenvironment and we are left with the desired configuration Single JVM deployment for earch web application.
Solution
Caution:
Make sure that you take a backup of the following:
- TheFoundation Services database schema backup
- Take a backup of the following folders:
\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component
\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers
\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\fmwconfig\servers
Disclaimer:
This was tested in House and it worked for this specific environment and it may not work for your environment. So the suggestion is to test first in a development environment and make sure that you take the appropriate backups in case it does not go according to plan.
Use at your own discretion.
Procedure:
1- Run the epmsys_registry to generate the Registry report
2- Search through the report for the word applicationServerDeployment with a corresponding value of configured and take the ObjectID number down for any entry of applicationServerDeployment that has a value of Configured
i.e:
Instance Tasks Configuration (INSTANCE_TASKS_CONFIGURATION)
Object ID:   e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7adf
3- use the object ID of each entry you have taken down throughout the Registry HTML Report to manually set it back to Pending using the following procedure:
                Start a command prompt and set the working directory to
                 \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin
                run the command:
                 epmsys_registry.bat updateproperty #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7adf/@applicationServerDeployment=Pending
                Repeat this command for each ObjectID that has its applicationServerDeployment
                 property set to Configured
4- rerun the epmsys_registry.bat to generate the Registry HTML report and search for applicationServerDeployment in the newly generated report to make sure that they are all set to Pending and there none missed (very Important).
5- Search the registry HTML report this time for EPMServer0 which is the default serverName given to the single managed server deployment (there will be multiple entries)
Take note of the first ObjectID entry in the section header: for example
WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (WORKSPACE_WEBAPP)
Object ID:   e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
- Start a command prompt and set the working directory to
                 \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin
- run the command:
                 epmsys_registry.bat view #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3
-Note the Parents ID in the output:

- Note the single child ID:

Now run the following command to remove the Link between Parent and child:
epmsys_registry removelink #parentObjectID #childObjectID
In this example that would translate to:
To remove the single child1 link to the WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (#e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 ):

And do the following To remove the link between WORKSPACE_WEBAPP (#e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd3 ) and Parent1 and Parent2:

- Delete also the Parent representing the WORKSPACE_LWA
epmsys_registry deletecomponent #e4b3a86a82c26941S32ef81a1455fe48473S7bd0
Note:So we have now deleted the WEBAPP and LWA for workspace.
6- Repeat steps in section No 5 for every WEBAPP with EPMServer0
7- Start the Weblogic admin console and login
Then go to the left panel and Expand Environment -> Server
Click on Lock & Edit -> Select EPMServer0 -> click on Delete and confirm
Activate Changes and Log off
8- Stop the weblogic admin console server
9- Go to the following location and delete the folder EPMServer0:
\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers
Delete also EPMServer0 from the following location:
\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\fmwconfig\servers
10- Start a command prompt and delete the Windows service that was created for EPMServer0 (if using Microsoft Windows Operating System):
Right click on the service 'OracleHyperion EPM Server - Java Web Application (epmssystem1)' and get its service name i.e: HyS9EPMServer_FOUNDATION1
Run the following command: sc delete HyS9EPMServer_FOUNDATION1
11- Launch the EPMSystem configurator and redeploy the web application server to their own JVM
12- Go to the following location \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component and rename the file mod_wl_ohs.conf to mod_wl_ohs.conf.old.
13- Copy the unconfigured mod_wl_ohs.conf file from the location C:\Oracle\Middleware\ohs\ohs\conf to the location \Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\FOUNDATION1\httpConfig\ohs\config\OHS\ohs_component
14- Run the EPM System Configurator again and configure the WebServer to reconfigure the OHS configuration file mod_wl_ohs.conf.
Once done then open the mod_wl_ohs.conf file and make sure that there are no servers configured with Port 9000.
15- Start the services and test the workspace

Form "greys out" while running if it loses focus.

I am running 10g on OC4J. If my form is displayed and working in the background. E.G calling a procedure and I open anything else when I go back to the form it stays "greyed out" until the process finishes.
Is there some command I can call to rectify this?

if you have one process then it's grayed out till the end of the procedure.
if you can split the routine and create (e.g. all 10% of the whole procedure) some synchronize-stops, then you have some seconds the gray background till the next synchronize and after that you see the form.
but we aware: synchronize costs performance. each synch has a roundtrip through your network.

Burn disc greyed out while exporting videos

I have a small issue that whenever I try to export a video from premiere pro cs4 the Start Queue in the Adobe Media Encoder is greyed out.

PDF password security greyed out while saving a PDF MP Navigator

Hello,
I am unable to set a password for pdf's that I scan with MP Navigator. I have been doing it for years, but now it has greyed out. It is not selectable. I recently upgraded my mobo and did a clean reinstall. The problem occurred before the upgrade and now remains despite full reinstalls of everything. The preferences button provides no way to turn passwords on or off. The Set... button shows password security also greyed out.
Win 7 Home premium 64 bit, 8GB, 250GB SSD root drive, Core i7. MP navigator EX 5.1. Pixma MP 895.

A simple way is to flatten the form fields, which converts the field appearances to regular page contents. You can do this with JavaScript or PDF Optimizer (Advanced > PDF Optimizer > Discard Objects > Flatten form fields). HT201272 Some songs are greyed out while others are black. What does this mean and how can I change it? I'm tired of only 2 or 3 songs from an album repeating while the others disappear off the "Up next".

Please help....I hate iTunes to begin with. Especially the latest they have come up with. Layout drives me crazy. And now....I find maybe a couple of songs in an album as "black" and the other titles are greyed out. What does this mean? I find it very frustrating as the black titles will repeat but the others seem to just disappear off the "play next" list. How can I fix this? And no...downloading from iCloud hasn't helped any.

This sounds like you have some unchecked tracks. These are skipped during track to track playback. The track names are slightly greyed out in the album view. You can normally see the check boxes from the Songs view or you can change the status via the rght-click context menu.

BDC not creating automatic delivery for consignment fill up in VA01

I am doing BDC for consignment fill up in VA01. When munually run VA01, it automatically creating delivery. But when run BDC ( call transaction ) it's not creating automatic delivery. why ? I am giving below fields..

item (material)
quantity
batch
pricing condition
price
serial number

VA01 is order creation, Creating an order does not automatically create a delivery, a delivery is created with VL01N in reference to an order.
Further you should get an error log if you process a BDC, what does it tell you?

Unless you have a utility that will let you R/W NTFS they as noted - reformat to a +HFS file system - aka -
Mac OS Extended (Journaled) - using Disk Utility.
The Mac OS can read/write +HFS and FAT 32 but can only read NTFS.

InDesign CS3, Cannot Export (greyed out) or Print

HELP!! I am having trouble Printing and Exporting in InDesign CS3 only(mac osx), I can Export and Print on all other Adobe programs that are installed on my computer.
I can also still create a PDF through the Adobe PDF presets, but cannot EXPORT or PRINT!!! Under the File Settings, Export is Greyed out, while Print is Black, but nothing happens when clicked.
Any ideas???... My printer driver is working good as I print to 3 printers at the moment and make pdfs of a regular basis and this has never happened before. It just seemed to happen out of the blue when I turned my computer on one morning. I've been working the long way around for now, but now need it fixed desperately!!!

The classic question is what were you doing just before this? Programs usually don't stop working for no reason "out of the blue," so most likley something else has changed on your system.

Option to Share or Export as 'Large' Greyed Out

I've already created several projects in iMovie and I've done quite a bit of sharing to YouTube, MobileMe Gallery and exporting to iTunes. For some reason, in my most recent project, I cannot share or export the file as 'Large 720x540'. That option is greyed out while all other sizes are still available. I've always been able to export or share with both MobileMe and iTunes as 'Large' and I can't figure out why , for this project in particular, I can't select the Large option. Any suggestions?

No, the only source I've shot with is a Panasonic standard def camera. The way iMovie imports the files, it ends up creating MPEG-2 .MOV files that are at 704x480 resolution. Every project I've created is a 4:3 project that uses the same source file format and resolution from the same source camera with iMovie always being the application that has imported the video. In every other project, I have the 'Large' option and in this one, I don't.

Sales Order Header Conditions greyed out

For two Sales Organisations and for two Order types (QT and Order) few of the condtion types (Header Condtions) are automatically coming as empty values (0.00) and are greyed out while creating a sales order / Quotaion. Now if user wants to change these values, he has to re-enter the conditions again and give some value (Discount/Freight). Therefore, there are two same condtion types in the sales order / Quotation (one greyed out with empty value and other which user manually entered).
Now my question is, why the system is taking the empty values and why the condtion type is getting greyed out? Can I debug it? if yes, where should i keep the break point or which user exit i need to check the logic (am sure it cannot be controlled by configurations).

As these are Header condtions no access sequence is maintained. More over, when i try to create a condtion record for these condtion type, system throws me the error.
Am sure it has nothing to do with our standard customizing and must have some logic behind it. But how and where to investigate it? at what part of program i need to debug? which user exit should i refer??

All "timeline" menu options appear greyed out in my version of Dreamweaver 8. I've tried deleting the cache file and the configuration folder, but without success. There was originaslly some reference to a Javascript error message reference timeline(), since when I've ensured my Java was updated. Any ideas please?

For some reason, the Link > Framemaker document option was also greyed out when I created the project. I had been having trouble with the .xpj file not being created by RH11 and reinstalled TCS5/RH11. Then I created the project and was able to find and open the .xpj file. Like I said, I found then that the Link > Framemaker document option was greyed out and could only import the FM book.
I recreated another project and see that the Link > Framemaker document option is greyed out. I can only use Link > Word document, which is of no use to me. Any suggestions would be welcome!
