I do not know how to configure picking list for user ,
We are maintaining WM at Plant .
I would request you to mention entire process step by step which may help me to understand picking list configuration in totality .

You can do this in the transaction OMLV -> 'Print Code', Form name depends on the print code. Few are here with.

There is critical issue that i need to configure the picklist out put. Please explain me step by step configuration, assignment, out put type used,condition record and from where we have to generate the pick list out put? whether in delivery? here they have configured delivery out put as packing list out put and it is assigned to LF. TRy to print pick list using tcode VL10B.
Form name : LVSKOMMIL1
Print program : RLKOMM40
Configurations are done in tcode OMLV. Form is maintained under Print Code and print program under Multiple processing of OMLV.
VL10B is able to create delivery note in background
check the settings in NACE for this picking Output type, Print program and Script form Whether this output type is triggering the form or not?
You can also use the Smartform for picking
/SMB40/SDPIK_L
try with transaction OPK8

No pick list requests For Production order

Dear All,
In WM/PP interfce
1.Created Production order and relesed
2.In menu WM pick List it shows Simulate and Proceed in that is if we select it will proceed further but material it will not move from ;Only parts; to only Pick parts
please help me on this or give me the process

The Issue has been resolved.....
Actually we have to "Create Control Cycle " via T.Code LPK1 for the materials being issued.
Once this is done the pick list automatically opens.

Can you tell if there is a standard Pickling list output type for a Sales Order Outbound delivery for a WM activated plant.(EK00 is no longer in application V2)
How can a Transfer Order creation trigger this Picking List (output type?)

GetPicklistValues - Get pick list values for Account Contact Roles

Is it possible to retreive the picklist values for the Accounts contact roles through the GetPicklistValues API? If so, what are the correct object type and field name.
Based on the documentation I'm guessing this isn't possible, just looking for confirmation.

I want to configure the Picking list(PL) output type,a smart form for PL but there should be an output type to print*.
i have assign the out type to shipping point in t.code ovlt .i have created picking list in t.code nact. i created sales order and delivery. i have check my picking list in ovl2n change mode picking out put is available in extra-picking output. i have checked my picking out put for smart form in systems-service-output control if i execute it show like no data to list. no spool request number has generated there.
so were i have to check picking list preview for smart form . is spool request number is necessary.plz help me to view preview of picking list.or plz say the steps to configure this to preview.

Hi,
Go to Nace .The application for Goods Issues is
ME - Inventory Management -> select and click on output types ->select wa03 output type and click on processing routines here you can find the form name and the driver program name.So while printing select wa03 as the output type.

Can Someone help me to configure a Picking list in MM ? I need to generate a picking list in VL02n after picking realized.
I didin´t get a picking list because the message type EK00 wasn´t created in VL02n. How and Where can I configurate This ?

TO (Pick LIst) Creation before GI for Reservation

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement that we should create the TO (Pick List) first for a reservation and after physical picking perfomr the GI. Is there standard SAP functionality to cater this requirement? If we do teh GI first then process is standard but teh requirement is that we wanted to create the TO without doing GI.

Hi Khan,
If I understand you right, you would like to do the TO before doing the PGI. This is standard. For this, you must either have Lean WM or full WM active.

Go to T code OMLV and tick the printer where you don't want printing to happen.Hope this will solve your issue.

FYI - R14 Get Pick List Objects

This caused me a problem for a bit so I thought I'd post in case anyone runs into it.
I was trying to pull pick list values for Service Requests and I was using "ServiceRequest" as my RecordType and getting an error. It turns out it actually uses "Service Request".
It wasn't clear from the documentation, but the RecordType is the plain language version of the object as opposed to the XML-y version of the object.

I think this is true for even other services like Mapping Services. We ran into similar problem while using mapping services for 'Custom Object 1'
My assumption is we have to go you see under WSDL object drop down in Web Services Integration -> Web Services Administration and use the same

For any activity we need to configure the printer in Spool Administration via the transaction code
SPAD.

How can I list all the domains configured for Weblogic Servers?
I saw a note, which says the following:
"WebLogic Server does not support multi-domain interaction using either the Administration Console, the weblogic.Admin utility, or WebLogic Ant tasks. This restriction does not, however, explicitly preclude a user written Java application from accessing multiple domains simultaneously."
In my case, I just want to list all the domains, is that possible by using any scripts?

If you use WLS Node Manager and the Config Wizard was used to create the domains, then the list of domains should be in a location like this:
<MIDDLEWARE_HOME>\wlserver_10.3\common\nodemanager\nodemanager.domains
Enterprise Manager Grid Control also has support for multi-domain management of WLS in a console.

I am having a problem trying to configure the Directory Server (5.2) for Messaging Server.
My configuration is as follows:
SJES Q12005
Server 1 - Directory Server 5.2
Server 1 - Access Manager (formerly Identity Server)
Server 1 - Web Server 6.1
I have successfully installed the above and can login to Access Manager.
I next installed Calendar & Messengar Server on "Server 1". Upon running "comm_dssetup.pl" from /opt/SUNWcomds/sbin, I get the following error:

I did mis-type, my mistake - sorry about that.
If I dont over-ride the default it works, I've pretty much got the whole setup working now but I'm not particularly over the moon about the way the ldap tree is setup, I'd like finer granuality as we are going to attempt to get syncronization working with AD.
I have an idea about how I'd like to set up our Mail/Calendar/LDAP infrastructure the 2nd time around (I'm just testing at the mo) - so I might have a question or two for you if you dont mind taking a look when you have a minute?

Need solution for dynamic pick lists in Crystal Reports

Does anyone have a good solution for creating a dynamic pick list for a Crystal Report that is based off of a BW Query without having to use a BW user input variable? In many cases it is not practical to use a BW variable to generate a dynamic pick list due to the high number of possible member values and the highly dynamic nature of the particular characteristic (customers, materials, etc.). In my understanding the LOV Server is not an option when dealing with SAP BW. Anyone else running into this issue with Crystal and SAP BW?

we once solved this by creating LOVs in BusinessView Manager. I am not sure if you can use the BW Publisher in this scenario as we did not use it. We published the reports directly to the BOE server for some reasons.
Creating a LOV in BusinessView manager is really easy. You can create cascading prompts, shedule refreshing of the lists, ...
By using the cascading prompt feature you can make prompts like this:
First enter the customer number (or pick it from a list) and then the second list, which holds the materials only has shows the ones which had been purchased by that customer. I think this is what you are looking for.
You should give it a try!
