Picking quantity automatically populated

Dear All,
During delivery processing i have maintained picking request output to be printed when delivery is saved ,
but when i save the delivery to print the picking list the pick quantity is AUTOMATICALLY populated
kindly advise how do i prevent this as we have to count the items and enter the picked quantity.

As per your advise the system is not printing the Picking Request
But we need the picking request to be prited for the delivery execution
Kindly advise how can i print the picking request and avoid the system populate the picking quantity automatically.
currently the system when saving the picking request is populating the picked quantiy equal to delivery quantity
even if the picked quantity is partial,if the delivery is saved then the system is making the pick quantity equal to delivery quantity

Hi Amit,
I will explain how you set up this automatic picking, and then you can
work backwards from there. The automatic picking you are experiencing
is actually related to the output type EK00 assigned to your shipping
point.
Consider the following two setup steps which will result is automatic
picking:
Set the output type to EKOO, in the print picking list of the shipping
point in customizing.
Make sure the parameters below are set:
Message Language
Number of Messages
Send Time              <<<<<<<<<<< this must be set to 4 (send immed)!!
Transmission Medium
1) you have to set the parameters for EK00 in the shipping-point-
   maintenance in customizing:
          -> Enterprise Structure
             -> Definition
                -> Logistics Execution
                   -> Define, copy, delete, check shipping point
2) as second step you define the shipping-print-parameters in
   customizing:
           -> Logistics Execution
              -> Shipping
                 -> Basic Shipping Functions
                    -> Output Control
                       -> Define print parameters shipping
                         -> Shipping (Spec.case)
Therein there should be an entry for every shipping-point, where
you like to use the picking-list EK00!
If you have 1 & 2 setup for a particular shipping point you will
experience the "automatic" picking of deliveries.

The above FM will update Picking in delivery
Check the structure VBPOK ,within structure VBPOKKOMMI(Include structure)
Field is PIKMG.

Field Pick quantity is blank

Hi All,
I am using verison 4.6 C I have created 2 sales order with same data except for the shipping condition. The sales order 1 has an shipping condition that takes a shipping point 3004 and Storage location 304 them I create the outbound delivery starting by sales order 1 and the field Pick quantity (LIPSD-PIKMG) is filled automatically.
The sales order 2 has an shipping condition that takes a shipping point 3204 and Storage location 354 when I create the outbound delivery starting by sales order 2, the field Pick quantity is blank and the user has to fill it manually.
Can somebody tell me on what it depends?
In customizing the two storage location 304 and 354 have the same division 3001 and me it seems the same characteristics about shipment and picking.
Please help me.

If non-warehouse management material is used.
To bypass Pick quantity based on configuration in Delivery Item Category, see the relevant for picking field.
Please do double-check on your configuration:
1. Shipping point determination, it seems your shipping conditionloading groupplant are OK since SO#2 can pick up shipping point 3204.
2. Storage location determination, it seems the shipping pointplantstorage condition are OK aswell, SAP can find Sloc 354.
3. Delivery Item category [0vlp], determine storage location and not relevant for picking should be selected.

SD - copy picked quantity as delivery quantity ( VL02N )

Hi everybody, I will be appreciate if sombody can helpme.
I need to copy the delivery quantity to the picking quantity, becouse this is the most common situation that happend in this company. But, when I tried it, nothing happend.
So, been in the VA02, I go -> Edit -> Copy Picked Quantity as Delivery Quantity, but nothing happend. Only sendme this warning message "Delivery quantity must be entered for the item".
It's seems as something left me.

First check the Delivery Item category"OVLP", whether "Picking relevance" check box is marked or not.
If it is activated then you have to pick the material.
For that, you have to create a Transfer order for the Delivery (LT03). When you create a Transfer order, Enter your Warehouse no , Plant Delivery document number and proceed.
The Delivery quantity should be automatically copied as Picking quantity which you can check in the overview screen in Picking Tab.
It is mandatory that the Delivery quantity and the Picking quantity must be same to do PGI.
As Picking is relevant for the item, so you must ensure that Picking location determination assignment have been done.
Otherwise, you can remove the activation from the Picking relevance field from the Delivery item category and try once.

Picked Quantity not updated while using FM in background

Hi All,
We have a requirement to update the picking quantity in a delivery order (VL02N) through a custom screen.
Inorder to do the above operation we are using the Function Module SD_DELIVERY_UPDATE_PICKING_1. We find a strange behaviour while using this FM.
The FM updates the picking quantity when executed online, but when called in the program (By passing exactly the same parameters) it does not update the picking quantity even after using a COMMIT WORK command after the function module. While debugging it was found that the XLIPS intl. table and LIPS structure was not being populated when the FM was executed through a function call in program.
We tried using the WS_DELIVERY_UPDATE, but even this FM behaves in the
same way.
Please let us know as to how to over come this issue.

Thanks for your reply. I actually tried using even the above mentioned FM. But I am faced with the same error. The problem is that in one of the includes LV50LF01 (Subroutine READ_DELIVERY) of the FM, the internal table XLIPS gets refreshed. This happens only when the FM is called in our program.

How to default picked quantity in Outbound Delvery Creation?

Hi,
There were some similar functionality as you need be using the standard picking list (message type V4, condition type EK00).
This condition type EK00 has assigned the program /SMB40/RVADEK01 (in my 4.7 system). This standard program is calling after issuing the picking list (if everything is OK and you are not in preview mode) a form which is updating the picking quantities to be the same as the delivery quantities.
So, one ideea is to implement this message EK00 to be issued automatically for your delivery on save (time 4) and setting for example to issue the message in the spool and not printing it or something like that.
Also, if you want a nicer solution you should create a new message and copy the functionality from EK00 and not issue any form but just update the quantity.
If you need some additional help please tell me (settings for EK00 are some how hidden in the SPRO )

CO11N header material quantity not populated

when doing co11n in single screen entry and i give 2 kg in the yield and go to goods movement tab, i dont see any quantity populated for the header material?
because of this when i post confirmation, not material document is generated. how can I make the header material quantity field to be automatically populated?
please note, this is not for componet materials and for the routing I have maintained auto gr for the final operation.

Header material added in goods movement Screen with movement type 101 and quantity instead of populating screen. kindly check goods movement screen, header material is added in screen.
if operation in order is more than one, kindly check all operation's goods movement one by one.
if problem is not solved, kindly recheck operation control key configuration that Auto GR indicator is set.

How to change the pick quantity in outbound delivery using bapi

I am using BAPI_OUTB_DELIVERY_CHANGE for changing the outbound delivery picking quantity but there is no field to change the pick quantity.

"Internal error (-5002) occurred" On Pick List Update Picked Quantity

I have an SDK program that simply tries to update the Picked Quantity in SAP. Previously it has been working fine, until I try to use the same logic for items managed by Batch or Serial Number.
In this scenario, I have created a PickList with only 1 row, the item is managed by Serial Number.
I try to simplify the code as below.

I have added the *** line for handling the Serial Number, but when it hit the Update command, the SDK returns "Internal error (-5002) occurred".
I'm not sure what does it means.
Anyway I tried to remove the *** line and it works fine for item not managed by Batch or Serial, but the issue will remains for the Items managed by Serial or Batch.
Please advise whether I missed anything in this code.

I haven't done this thing practically but error -5002 will occur, if there is any Invalid Object.
You can check it accordingly.

Picked Quantity to be made equal to Delivery Quantity in VL02n

Hello Experts,
Have a requirement, where upon when entering in VL02n with a delivery no, the Picked Quantity field (LIPSD-PIKMG) should be equal to Delivery Quantity (LIPS-LFIMG).
Only the exit USER_EXIT_READ_DOCUMENT of include MV50AFZ1 is being called when entering VL02n and in that i tried changing the value of LIPSD structure and even tried changing XVBFA-RFMNG field value, but it is not working.
I understand that LIPSD is structure and noticed that picked quantity is getting stored in VBFA-RFMNG field...
Please let me know if any one have come across the same requirement and resolved it technically, rather than functional approach of EK00 condition type or making the item category as non relevant for picking, we tried these options and it is not working for the business. I got to see many previous threads on this topic, but there was no conclusion or technical solution provided.
So looking for TECHNICAL solution based on your experience and whether it is resolved. Its kind of urgent and would appreciate the help of experts who have resolved it earlier. thanks

We have to use BADI LE_SHP_DELIVERY_PROC, methods CHANGE_FIELD_ATTRIBUTES and CHANGE_DELIVERY_ITEM. And it works.

Picked quantity not getting updated in ERP outbound delivery

Hi All,
I have an outbound delivery which is replicated from ERP to EWM. I have confirmed the Warehouse task for picking & completed PGI in EWM system. The status update has taken place in ERP delivery (i.e ERP delivery status shows that goods movement is complete and the distribution status shows processing of the delivery in the decentralized system is complete). However the picked quantity (LIPS-PIKMG) is not getting updated in the ERP delivery. How do i make this happen?

Picked Qty in ECC will never get updated when do the PGI in EWM. I think, this field is not designed when delivery is distributed as system assume picking will be done in other system in this case it is EWM.
But You can always refer VBFA (Document flow table) to identify the picked quantity if you are working z report or interface to send this information.
