Picking up default value 140000 for Recon account in FD02

Hello Experts,
I am an Abaper posting this query because FICO consultant is facing an issue on FD02 with Recon account
To the company code CAP1 there are 2 Recon account configured 1) 20000 2) 50000.
Now when we change the customer on FD02 or XD02 it displays a default value on Recon account field ie 140000.
The reason why i have posted this query is because the FICO consultant says that it an issue with Abap
and I dont think so could you please give me some insight on the same.
What I think is this could be because some customization problem.

Ranjith N

  • How to set a default value of " " for a VARCHAR2 in ER diagram?

    Hi,
    I am trying to set the default value of a VARCHAR2 attribute to " " (space) in an ER diagram. But it just thinks I don't want anything for the default value. If I specify CHR(32) will it work? or is there another way? Will I have to wait until I get into the server model to do this, if so how do I do it there?
    thx
    adam

    Are you sure you want the default to be a space, not a NULL? VARCHAR2 fields want to trim spaces from the right, which makes them NULL if they started as all spaces. You can force them to accept spaces, but it is an unnatural condition. Even the VARCHAR2 columns that I use as surrogates for booleans I set as 'Y' for true and 'N' for false, or 'T' for true and 'F' for false. Occasionally, it will be 'X' for selected and NULL for not selected, but the NULLs tend to cause trouble so I avoid them.
    Okay, let's assume that you have a good reason to default to a space. Use ' ', including the single quotes. When you transform to a Table Definition, change the Default Value Type for the column to a Database Function Call. You can't do that in the logical (Entity/Attribute) design, only in the physical (Table/Column). That will make sure that the Server generator will leave it the way you wrote it.

  • Can we Select Open Item Management for Recon Accounts??

    Hi Members,
    Is it necessary to select check box open item management for reconciliation accounts ???
    for ex; sundry debtors, sundry creditors .
    If so may i know the reason.
    Bcz all subledger accounts are automatically maintained as open item accounts ..so is it again necessary to select this check box in recon. accounts.
    thanks and regards.

    Hi
    System will not allow to save with OIM selected for Recon account.
    For all sub ledgers OIM will be unchecked.

  • No Default Value Maintained for Operation

    Hi Experts,
    System is showing an error when we are trying to create the process order, hence we are unable to create the process order.
    When we save the process order, system is showing below error:
    " No Default Value Maintained for Op.generation for order type xxxx (mat XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX)"
    We have searched the existing threads, as per them we have checked all the check points like Master recipe, Production version Validity, Control keys, all are available with available validity dates.
    Once Master recipe is there, still system is looking for the default value for operation, this is something which is confusing us.
    Can you please guide us to resolve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Raj
    For some reason your master recipe is not being selected. Generally, this is caused by status, validity, production version or customizing.
    If you have created the recipe with a change number, check if a released is assigned.
    Also, since you mentioned that you already checked averything, you may try to create a new master recipe.

  • Budgetory Commitment Items for Recon. accounts

    Hi Experts,
    I have a requirement of budgeting trade creditors in SAP. Currently in our legacy system we are budgeting trade creditors as well as expenses.
    Now as per SAP point of view my understanding is that we can only budget expense and revenue items. But for recon. accounts like vendor and customer, budgeting is not possible in SAP. I tried creating a commitment item for vendor recon. account with financial transaction 30 and commitment item category 3 and the same was assigned to recon. account in FS00. I posted budget in this commitment item with reference to fund and fund center through FMBB(T.code). Budget category "payment" was used for posting this budget and budget was successfully posted. Now when i tried to post the invoice to vendor, the system asks me to enter fund and fund center in vendor line item as well. i provided the fund and fund center in vendor line item to which i posted budget earlier in FMBB. the document gets posted without any error but when i view the budget consumption report instead of deducting invoice amount from the  consumable budget amount and show the net available budget system add this in the consumable budget and shows the net result as bellow:
    can any one guide if budgeting of such item is possible in sap FM or can we just budget P/L items? need your guidance please.

    Hi,
    Payments made to a vendor can be tracked through FI/FI-CA modules.
    As for PSM-FM, please, comprehend and explain to your client two important points:
    a) You won't be able to budget a vendor separately, but only, and still hypothetically, through reconciliation account, which makes the whole thing meaningless, as there will be no control on specific vendor
    b) You won't stop payment, from business perspective, to a vendor on duly registered invoice just because 'the budget was exceeded'
    If your client is interested to follow the payments, he can 'budget' bank accounts. Again, this does not make any sense (at least, a blocking budgeting), because the control is already applied through treasury components and bank account balance itself. Still, technically, it could be done.

  • Default values set  for Tax data in material master

    Hi
    Can anyone tell me how to set default values for  TAx dat in sales view  while creating material master.
    so that it automatically take  values while creating material master.
    Regards
    Vijay Shukla

    Mary and Vijay,
    I probably understood your question wrong.
    I was somehow assuming you were referring to classification data.. Sorry abt that.
    The tax data gets populated automatically while creating the material master.
    Th key lies in configuration..  You would have to use Tcodes OVK1, OVK4 to define the material and the tax categories by country
    The tax data is populated by the assignment that you make in OVX6.. I believe.. assigning plants t Sales org. Th country code defined in the plant OX10 is used to determine the tax data and once you customize this part.. You should start seeing the tax data populate when you use that sales org while creating MM
    Hope this answers your query.

  • Default Values option for entire page

    Is there a way to set the entire page to use the default values for the entire page. I know you can set it per variable, and I have quite a rythyme so I can do it fairly quickly but with multiple pages with 100 or so values it gets tiring. I have tried setting it under the Page Settings Manager by setting "usedefaultValueParameters" to True for the page. It seems to ignore this though, it is still sending the parameters.
    I couldn't find any other option, and I do need to still send them on some of the pages within the script, I just don't want to overwrite the same page when I pull it up in future pages after filling it with a databank file.
    Just wondering if there is a better solution or if I need to get back to my F4-Tab-Tab-Tab-Space-Enter-Down-Repeat.

    Thanks for the reply, the only navigation I have done on those pages was clicking cancel on the bottom to go back to the search screen, but it is not working. I guess it is back to setting each field up to use defaults. Unfortunate.
    Does it have to be recorded with that setting?

  • Inspection Type - Default Values - Inspection for HU

    Hi Gurus:
    In SPRO >QM > QI > Insp. Lot Creation > Define Default Values for Inspection Type
    I am trying to check the Inspection for HU box under the Inspection Lot Creation section.  It checks fine, but when I save, the check disappears.  I have others where I have set this, so I am unsure why it is not letting me.  There is no error message appearing...Only the check disappears upon Save.
    Thanks for your help in advance.
    Nic

    Hi
    U r right. This is Happening to the Insp types 05 and 08 as per the coding written in the standard Program. It is checking the Insp lot origin in the table V_TQ33 and clearing the Tick for the Inspection for HU field if the insp lot origin is 05 and 08 while saving.

    Hi,
    The suggestion provided was useful, but it is a client level setting. Is there a way to have the value for the field defaulted as a user setting.

  • Default value format for the CQ datetime widget

    Hi,
    I have created a simple dialog.xml with datetime property:
    <firstReplicate
                jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget"
                fieldLabel="Article Date:"
                name="./firstReplicated"
                xtype="datetime"/>
    Now, in the documentation: we see that this widget accepts
    data : Mixed
    The initial set of data to apply to the tpl to update the content area of the Component.
    <firstReplicate
                jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget"
                fieldLabel="Article Date:"
                data="2013-07-18T00:45:00.000+01:00"
                name="./firstReplicated"
                xtype="datetime"/>
    Didn't seem to be setting the data value on my datetime. What is the correct data value for the datetime xtype ?
    Thanks,
    Peter

    Solved: default is value:
    So, the working example is:
    <firstReplicate
                jcr:primaryType="cq:Widget"
                fieldLabel="Article Date:"
                value="2013-07-10T00:45:00.000+01:00"
                name="./firstReplicated"
                xtype="datetime"/>

  • Can't get selectOneChoice to pick up default value

    I have this selectOneChoice below and the enum also shown below, but no matter what I do, it won't leave the drop down intact. It just replaces it with a text field that says "Regular" which is the proper value for the first enum value but what I want is for that value to just be the selected one in the dropdown. Any thoughts?
    <af:selectOneChoice value="#{oclcAdmin.selectedVendorType}" id="vendorTypeChoice">
    <f:selectItems value="#{oclcAdmin.vendorTypes}"/>
    </af:selectOneChoice>
    and here is the backing code:
    public List<SelectItem> getVendorTypes() {
    List<SelectItem> options = new ArrayList<SelectItem>();
    VendorTypeEnum[] vte = VendorTypeEnum.values();
    for (int x = 0; x < vte.length; x++) {
    SelectItem item = new SelectItem(vte[x].getValue(), getMessageSource().getMessage(vte[x].toString(), null, getExternalContext().getRequestLocale()));
    options.add(item);
    return options;
    public VendorTypeEnum getSelectedVendorType(){
    int selectedType = myVendorDetail.getType();
    return VendorTypeEnum.valueOf(selectedType);
    and here is what the Enum looks like:
    public enum VendorTypeEnum {
    VENDOR_TYPE_REGULAR(0),
    VENDOR_TYPE_NATIONAL(100),
    VENDOR_TYPE_WORLDCAT(200),
    VENDOR_TYPE_CUSTOM(1000);
    private static Map<Integer, VendorTypeEnum> myIntMap = new HashMap<Integer, VendorTypeEnum>();
    static {
    for(VendorTypeEnum status: VendorTypeEnum.values()) {
    myIntMap.put(status.getValue(), status);
    private VendorTypeEnum(int value) {
    this.value = value;
    private final int value;
    public int getValue() {
    return this.value;
    public static VendorTypeEnum valueOf(int value){
    if(myIntMap.containsKey(value)){
    return myIntMap.get(value);
    else {
    throw new IllegalArgumentException("No VendorTypeEnum value:" + value);
    }

    For anyone that cares, I figured it out. Apparently the component will default to read only unless it detects that a setter exists for the field. I had guessed that but had only put in a blank setter instead of one that actually took a value. Once I changed that, it worked.

  • What is the default value length for attribute?

    I have found that there is no limit for the value length about the attribute directorystring.
    Is it right?
    Another question is:
    I created an attribute with the "multi-valued".
    How many values can i add into the same entry?
    Thank u very much.

    Correct. By default, there is no limit for the value length. However, it is possible to limit the max length for a given attribute type by specifying the max length in curly bracket in the schema definition e.g.
    attributetype ( 2.5.4.41 NAME 'name'
    EQUALITY caseIgnoreMatch
    SUBSTR caseIgnoreSubstringsMatch
    SYNTAX 1.3.6.1.4.1.1466.115.121.1.15{32768} )
    The value {32768} indicates the maximum length of the string and is optional.
    There is no limit in the number of attribute value too (as long as you have enough memory and disk to process it) . However, keep in mind that most directory servers limit the length of the LDAP PDUs, so you might have to change these settings if you want to create or search for very big entries.
