Picking up in store tomorrow??

Of course there is not anyone I can talk to on the phone - Apple is not accepting phone calls. I had set up to pick up my iphone 4 in the store tomorrow and now I won't be able to due to a death in a fellow nurse's schedule and I have to cover for her. So....how in the world can I schedule to have it shipped to me, or is it too late???

There's no way you can get to the store between 7AM and closing? If not, I think you are f*ed.

AT&T stores tomorrow and another question

So I have the iphone 4 preordered through apple.com and it is supposed to ship by July 2nd. I am considering going to the AT&T stores tomorrow and trying to pick one up early. Do you guys think they will be busy if I get there at 6 a.m. tomorrow? I'm assuming it's going to be nothing like the Apple release last week...Also I am switching from Verizon and I would like to get my number ported before the end of the month so I don't have to pay for a month of Verizon service and AT&T service...

If you are planning to stop by at a U.S. Apple Store, an alternate approach would be to buy (and pay for) the MacBook Air online, configured as you would like it. One of the options available to you will be to pick it up at a specific Apple Store. Then you could see the date it would be available for you to receive it.

They will simply use Migration Assistant to transfer your Home folder, third-party applications and support files, and system preferences. This is something you could do yourself. You would need a Firewire cable to connect between your old computer and your new one. Migration Assistant is installed in the Utilities folder of your new computer.

White iPhone 4 at my local apple store tomorrow

OK guys, I have read another thread on here reporting the white iPhone 4 is in stock at best buy. However, does anyone know whether it will be in stock at apple stores tomorrow and if so how much?

My local Best Buy said that they got white ones yesterday, but they're only giving them to people who pre-ordered a white one. Nobody knows for sure about the Apple Store, but if Best Buy has them, I'm sure that Apple Stores will have some. I think that the Apple Store will have a limited stock, and, if you're at the front of either line you can get it. If you pre-ordered a black one, you can probably swap for a white one. For walk-ins you'll have the choice.

I can understand your frustration. I have elected for the option to pick up an item from a UPS location when missed upon delivery before; it is definitely a convenient option when working around a work schedule. I apologize that this option wasn’t available to you for your phone purchase.
We do understand that people have to work and this is why we allow three opportunities for you to receive the product. I see that AWBrown has submitted an idea to ideaX page asking us to look into reevaluating this process. Using your email address you have supplied here on the forums, I was able to look up your order. Based on the tracking information, it appears that you successfully received the phone on 06/03/2014.
If this is not the case, please let me know!

The one I have ordered is scheduled to be shipped "by July 14th." If I walk into an APPLE store and they have one available, can I just pick it up there?

You can try waiting in line (all Apple stores will supposedly have some available for walk-ins on the 24th), although it sounds like the iPhone 4 is so popular, you will probably need to start lining up VERY early. If you do manage to get one at the store, you can cancel the one to be shipped (you can always cancel up until the point when the item is being prepared to ship).

You could cancel it but It will not work that way.. Cause you already use the 2 year contract deal on the preorder that you just preorder.. trust me I tried that already when the last time I did a pre-order on the iPhone 5 when they do the first preorder live.... Cause when you did your preorder there was agreement that you agree that they put on the agreement.. So if I were you I wait.. What if you cancel your and then you when on the release date and try to get one what if they're all sold out.... and you know that its crazy on the release date.. Will if you do good luck waiting in line..

This is a great question to ask before selecting friends or family pickup as an option on an order! To clarify, per our Store Pickup page on BestBuy.com, a friend or family member would only need to present an ID and the order number. Only you - or the person designated for pickup on the order - may pick up your items. With that said, please keep in mind that some items, such as contract mobile phones, must have the contract holder present at pickup.

Does Pick Up at store by friend really need the physical credit card used?

Can I pay with a credit card by phone from Miami for friend in Spokane WA to pick up? Friend has WA State ID. Does friend need my physical credit card for in store pick up?

If the friend is listed under friends and family pickup they will not need the credit card but they will certainly still require an ID.
Yes you can place an order for pickup in another state, I have done it before for other customers just be sure to have your friend listed in the friends and family pick-up

Order on Line/Picking Up At Store

Don't know where to place this question. I just ordered an iPad 2 on line. I see that it won't be shipped until the 27th. Wondered if anyone has done this: paid for item on line, but went to the local Apple Store with payment confirmed by Apple, and picked up the item. I live in NYC, and just found out there is an iPad 2 available at one of their stores. If Apple already has my money in their til, wonder why this can't be done. Any thoughts most welcomed.

I don't think they're keen to do this. When I bought my MacBook Pro with the SSD option I asked if I could order it in store and pick it up when it was ready: they said no, I could only oder it online and have it delivered - they would order it for me if I liked but it would have to be delivered to my home. (I dislike deliveries so I bought it elsewhere).
In your case there is the additional complication that the online order and Store orders are different processes so there would have to be a transfer between them, which may not be easy.

Upgrade price changed when picking up from store.

I ordered a phone online and selected the pickup from store option. I was given a total up grade price of $64.73 which included the phone and upgrade fee. I entered my credit card information online and received a purchase reciept. The page said all I had to do to pick up my phone was give my purchase number, id and show my credit card. When I went to the store they would not let me have the phone. They said I had to pay them $107. Has anyone else ordered online, selected store pickup and been told they have to pay extra to pick up the phone. What did you do? I refused to take the phone.

No reason given. They just said I can't give you the phone at that cost. I gave them all the information where I purchased the phone online and they still said they couldn't give it to me at that price.
