Pics as attachments

I am running windows 7, and use windows live mail.  Have had no trouble sending pics over e-mail until now.  I am getting the message 'elements organizer could not finish creating your e-mail message'.  Tells me to use Adobe but have the same result.  I've reset my e-mail preference, and even changed it to Adobe to no avail.
Thanks for any help.

Yes I did.  Still will not work.  Am still told that Elements organizer could not finish creating your e-mail message.  I also tried system restore, as I had installed a new printer, as well as new Windows Updates.  No help.

    I want to send a high resolution image in an email as an attachment but it keeps embedding in the email. How do I get around this?

    If you are using Apple's Mail, you will need to post in the Mail forums for whichever OS you are currently using.  You did not provide any OS information.
     If you are using a 3rd party email program, you will need to post in their forums.

    salut,

  • How to release top-level VI (only) source code?

    Hello,
    I am developing an addon to an application I already have. The application is large (over 1,500 VI's) and the VIs are set up to compile with mostly default settings (there's a top-level VI, a few with Front Panel visible, most of them are not visible).
    The customer wants the source code to the work I'm going to do, and it's going to use many existing sub-VI's. The addon itself will be a sub-VI (I have a Main.vi that basically opens 'screens', and this is a new screen). The existing sub-VI's basically do the data collection and processing, and the new code will do some additional processing and have a nice GUI to the existing code. The customer wants the source so they can make modifications as needed.
    Is there any easy way to provide just the source for the top-level VI? Basically, I want to give them M.vi, where M.vi calls n.vi, o.vi... etc, but o-z.vi need to remain closed-source. Also, M.vi is called by Main.vi, which opens screens A-M.vi
    One option is do copy the entire application, then open every sub-VI and save it without Source Code. But with so many files, this seems like a bad idea. I also then have to maintain two applications.
    Any good ideas out there? It seems so easy in other languages (use object files) that it seems like there should be a solution here I'm not seeing.... Thanks!

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Dont know if this is the best solution for you, but you can create a "virtual folder" in the LabVIEW project with all the sub-VIs that you want to keep closed-source. Then create Source Distribution build specifications in the project and remove the block diagrams assign passwords to all VIs in the virtual folder. See attached pics.

  • Mac mail program with complex HTML and ability to send hyperlinks?

    Alright, here is the issue I've been struggling with forever.
    I'm responsible for sending out my band's emails to our mailing list. I need to add hyperlinks and insert pictures that will show up in the body of the email for both mac and PC users.
    In Mac mail with Panther, my hyperlinks come out fine for both Macs and PC users. However, my inserted pictures show up in the body of the email only for other Mac users. Most PC users only see the pics as attachments not in the body of the email.
    I've also tried Entourage X, but the opposite problem occurs. Using HTML mode, my pictures always show up in the body of the email for both PC and Mac users, but when I'm in HTML mode there is no way to add hyperlinks.
    What is my solution here? Does anyone use other email programs that would allow me to fix the problem. Perhaps I need to compose complex HTML messages in order to ensure hyperlinks and pics appear in the body of emails? If you agree with this, where would I begin to learn how to do this?
    Please help!
    Danny

    I have been searching for how to create custom HTML emails in Mail, in a way that would work with OS 10.3 and 10.4, so as not to rely on the user having Tiger. After reading through many posts, I came up with a script that creates a new HTML message that you can still edit in Mail itself before sending, and you don't need Safari 2. I'm new to scripting so please let me know if this is useful.
    Jodain
    Part I: defines the HTML code; you can make something in the script itself as long as the string this_html ends up in proper formatting. I actually came up with this primarily for pasting most the html code in the script itself, with a few changing variables. If you do paste or type html code in the script, make sure you use \\ for every \, and \" for every ". If you're using TextEdit to alter the html, use find and replace in that order (\:\\ then ":\").
    Part II: builds a message in Mail with the html content... an undocumented property of a Mail message. However, it only works when visibility is false, so unless you send it right away, the user is not able to still type the recipients and edit the body in Mail as he/she might be used to. Which brings me to...
    Part III: takes the saved draft and opens it up for editing. The open command only lets you view the message, even if it is outgoing, so I had to come up with a work-around so you can still edit as if you're composing it for the first time.
    --Part I
    tell application "Safari" to set this_html to source of document 1
    tell application "Safari" to set this_page to name of document 1
    --Part II
    tell application "Mail"
    activate
    set theMsg to make new outgoing message with properties ¬
    {subject:this_page, html content:this_html & ¬
    return & return, content:""}
    tell theMsg to make new to recipient
    save theMsg
    --Part III
    if not (exists the front message viewer) then make new ¬
    message viewer
    tell front message viewer
    set selected mailboxes to {the drafts mailbox}
    set sort column to date received column
    set sorted ascending to false
    delay 3
    set selected messages to {first message}
    tell application "System Events" to tell process ¬
    "Mail" to keystroke return
    end tell
    end tell

  • Gallery and camera update for Belle FP2.

    I just installed the update which is available today via software update using Nokia Suite.
    I'm happy that I got back the mark option to send multiple files.
    There's an extra preference option provided in camera but it is still taking time for the camera to start after phone is started.
    -------------------If this post helped you, click on accept as solution.------------------
    -----------------------------Appreciate by clicking on white star.----------------------------

    After the recent update of gallery and camera on 808 and 701, which allows finally the multiple selection, I've found on both devices that if you select 2 or more photos in the gallery and then you send them by email, the email app closes suddenly and you can find the message with attached photos in drafts. But just 2 photos. If you select 3 or more, only 2 will be attached. If you choose just one, it works as previously, you open a new message and then you can edit it etc.
    Have you the same issue?
    Yes, everybody had got this. It's always been there. On the 700 and on the 808, FP1 and FP2. Actually the gallery/camera update has improved it a bit. One can now email 2-3 pics. Before the update even 1 pic rarely worked.
    Really serious problem with no organization of the report without album and all photos in one place has been reported ?? course the problem is not solved in any way with the extra apps from the store which is slow without a good support
    Is the above a google translation?
    The issue seems to be caused by the mechanism involved in the Send / Email dialogue which is present in the Gallery app, and in various other apps which also fail the same way.
    Whereas if you start up the email app, create a fresh email and then add the pics (as attachments) to it, you can send as many as you like, with the email size limited only by the various SMTP server limits. I have emailed 50MB emails, though most people are limited to about 10MB by their ISP or network.

  • How do I attach photos to emails?

    I can't add photos as attachments in emails.  When I send pictures, they cannot be saved or stored in MS Outlook.
    How can I send them as attachments as I did with my old 3GS?

    Thanks for this helpful information.
    I'll try to make it more understandable for you.
    Perhaps embed is the wrong word but it describes it perfectly.
    My 3GS would attach pictures. OS 4.0.1. You could email pictures that were attached so that Outlook would recognize them as jpegs. You can save them on the computer.
    My 4S can only send pictures in the email. They are part of the email, not attached to it. Outlook does not recognize these pictures and therefore cannot save them.
    This is 100% the phones issue and not Outlooks. I can email you so you can see the difference if it would help you understand.
    In summary; 3GS sends pics as attachments and are recognized as attachments in Outlook. 4S can't. It only sends them as email that are not recognized by Outlook as attachments and are useless as they cannot be saved.
    I'm hoping this is user error.
    With your knowledge, please show me how to send them properly so outlook recognizes them so I can save them.

  • N8 white balance

    Hi, I bought my Nokia N8 two days ago and have noticed that when i view the screen from an angle the background colours and white text on the home screen look really crisp but when viewed from front on it has a sort of cream look to it like the white balance has changed  (kind of like changing the wb on your tv from cool to warm but a bit more subtle).
    Is this normal or is there a problem with the display. I havent seen another n8 so not sure if all of them are the same it just looks less vivid when viewing from straight on.
    Also i have the problem where the blacks look more like red but i know there's already a thread for this issue.

    Dude that white balance thing is normal.Even in my phone some white looks clearer if i see it from an angle.But mind you thats only white other colors appear vivid from all angle.To check the display do this.
    1.Carefully look at the anologe screen saver you will see the upper part appear slightly red.Check it after pressing the menu key.
    2.Download this images and check.In that blue pic i have marked.In that area you will see a black line as if the color transtion is not smooth.Download the pic in pc and phone so that you can see the difference in that marked area.
    3.The last bar appears red in that gradient pics.

  • Sending Failure. I can't send, reply or forward an email with attachment or picture.

    I have a Galaxy S5. When I try to send, forward or reply to an email with an attachment or picture it gets stuck in my outbox with a final message on my notification page of "sending failure".  I can receive any email with pics or attachments. I have removed and re added my email accounts as well as cleared the cache without any luck.  Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!

    Try doing this, uninstall your email app then power down & remove battery and SIM card. Next re-power phone and do a regular reset of the phone (not a restart)  with SIM installed. This will be listed under settings, backup and restore then tap Reset settings. now reinstall email app and setup your account. This in a normal working phone will clear most email problems along with correct account settings.

  • IPhoto & MS Office Apps

    I can't figure out how to upload my iPhoto pics as attachments when I'm working from my Hotmail account. I also can't figure out how to incorporate my iPhoto pics into a PowerPoint presentation. It will let me use any photo EXCEPT one from my iPhoto Library. Is there a setting or preference I can change in order to access pics from other applications?

    If the suggestions already put forth don't do it for you
    gotta love having multiple options.
    Correcting myself for the archives, as I've now launched Word and realized the feature is trickier to find than I remembered: the iPhoto browser in Office 2008 is not in the Formatting Palette, but in the Toolbox (the Formatting Palette is the first panel in the Toolbox). The Object Palette is the second panel in the Toolbox, and it has sub-tabs--the one with a camera lets you browse your iPhoto library (or various image folders). Use the dropdown menu to browse by either Albums or Events (labeled Rolls) instead of the default Photos, which shows all photos unsorted.

  • Mathscript Array Generation Issue

    I am trying to create a script to generate a 2D array.  When I test the script in the Mathscript editor I get the correct answer, but when I implement it in my VI with the same numbers I get a different answer.
    Script:
    function final=grid(X,Xi,deltaX,Y,Yi,deltaY)
    s=X*Y;
    T=zeros(s,2);
    i=1;
    Yy=Yi;
    for k=1:X
    for j=1:Y
    T(i,1)=Xi;
    T(i,2)=Yy;
    Yy=Yy+deltaY;
    i=1+i;
    end
    Xi=Xi+deltaX;
    Yy=Yi;
    end
    final=T;
    Using the following grid(3,.5,1,3,.5,1) I get the answer I want
    ans =
               0.5      0.5
               0.5      1.5

    However I get a much larger matrix when I use it in my VI (attached).  Any help appreicated.

    The VI does not produce any errors and I have no broken arrow on my file.  I will re-attach the VI just in case I uploaded an earlier edition.   The issue is mainly that I am trying to produce the following array.
              0.5      0.5
               0.5      1.5
               0.5      2.5

               2.5      0.5
               2.5      1.5

  • Mail and jpg or pic attachments

    No a BIG problem, but a problem.... Anyone know how to email a jpg or other picture format via Mac Mail as an actual attachment? I can drag and drop the pic I want into my message or select the photo via hitting the Photo Browser and select which image I want from my Iphoto book; I can drag the image I want from Iphoto onto the desktop and get an actual JPG file and Hit the attachment button within Mail and select the file.......
    The end result is the same... I get the image "within" the message but NOT as an actual file attachment. Even with the send Window Friendly attachments selected, on the other end see the image within the mail, but they can't download or save the file.... ???
    I appreciate any help.
    -- Paul

    You may want to try this:
    1. Attach the files as zipped files and using the attachment button feature in Mail, not by drag-and-drop.
    2. Attaching the zipped file such that it's an icon and not an inline image (such as PDF or jpeg). For this you may want to investigate the plug-in titled Mail Attachments Iconizer.
    3. Compose the letter as a plain-text and not rich-text format.
    One of our clients had the same problem, i.e., they couldn't download or save the attachment, though they could see it in the letter. If the above doesn't work our quick solution is to switch to using Thunderbird for emails with attachments to that client (who's using Outlook or Entourage). That worked.
