Pics transfer to playbook

Hi, I am trying to transfer photo's from my torch to my playbook using blue tounge. But even though the devices are paired i am unable to do so. I get an error mesage on my torch saying "Failed to find service"

And you may use a Wifi connection to transfer files.

Photo transfer to Playbook

I have a Motorollo XOOM mult-card reader and it fits exactly into my Playbook,.However the Playbook does not recognise the card reader, and my photo card is too large to fit into my Blackberry phone so can I do something to make Playbook recognise the card reader like downloading Motorolla app or what can you suggest as I would like to have all my photos on my Playbook??

Using the cable provided when you bought the playbook.
I would suggest downloading the desktop software first (www.blackberry.com/desktop) and installing that first then you can use the media sync option to transfer your photos to the playbook.

I like to download playbook applications on the PC and transfer to the Playbook via USB - NO WIFI.
I have downloaded and installed the Blackberry desktop manager and there is no access to transfer applications?
Please can someone assist, as I though this may be intuitive?

you can sideload apps aka bar file, but the apps in app world are not availble in this format.

Document transfer to Playbook

May i know the easiest way to transfer office documents from my windows laptop to my Playbook? Thanks.

Before you ask, here is the information on WiFi file sharing.
How to transfer files to and from the BlackBerry PlayBook.
Probably the easiest way is directly through the USB connection.
When you connect the Playbook to a PC by USB it sets itself up as drive Z: by default.

No...your BB can interface with your PC without any carrier plan at all. You simply need to download and install the Desktop Software from here:

And then activate Mass Storage Mode:

IPhoto updating library after every iPhone pic transfer is the Problem! PLS Help

Hello.
Everytime I plug in my iPhone, iphoto opens us and promtly asks me if I wish to download all the new picutres, as it should.
Once I complete the transfer, I exit the iPhoto program, and without fail, iPhoto begins to update my ENTIRE photo library of over 45K pictures, dating back to the early 2000's.
I am NOT using any cds, I just got this great new iMac in March of 2011, so i know its got the newest and truest hard and software installed. I just cannot figure out why it needs to update the old data too.
Anyone else feeling my pain and has since fixed it?
please advise...

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Phone pic transfer

how do i get photos and videos from my iphone to itunes?

If you use a mac, it's easy, when you connect it to a mac, mac will open iPhone to transfer pictures and iTunes to transfer all the content that you've purchased on the phone from itunes store.
Select "Transfer Purchases from iPhone" as an option to transfer content from iPhone.
On Windows, you need to open the Microsoft's image tool to transfer the picture and same explaination as above for music and other content purchased on the phone.

Trouble with camera roll, pic transfer to iPhoto since update to ios 5.

since I updated to ios 5; when I take a picture it goes to the bottom left corner as before but when I click on it, it opens and shows a 'saving' icon that never goes away. I now have 'albums' that show 'camera roll' and 'photo stream' but neither of these show up in my iPhoto when i connect my phone to my Mac. I am running iPhone4 with ios5 and iPhoto 8.1.2

I turned off photo stream and now if I take a picture it doesn't go into old camera roll where all my other pics are ... it has created another camera roll that only appears from the camera screen and I am unable to do anything with them...when I touch the screen it starts the 'neverending save icon'...help!

Video File from PC will transfer to Playbook but will only play sound note picture

I have trnasferred vidoe files from my laptop to Playbook, but whne I play the file on Playbook only the sound plays not the picture? Any ideas out there?

Help with Pic transfer

Help....my keyboard stopped working on my X2 (which I've only had for 3 weeks) and Verizon sent me out a new x2 today. Well I activated my new phone, and switched the SD card and none of my pics are on it. What did I do wrong? How do I get my pics from my old x2 to my new x2? Thanks

The files should ha e been still on the card, did you try using file explorer and see if the files shows up in the app, also have you tried placing card in a of reaer and make sure the data was still there?
I would try this first because the card shouldn't been erased.

Unable to access any file on my iPod after a problem with a pics transfer

Hi,
I was downloading the pictures from my camera to my iPod video 30Go when something happened.
After that, I was (and still am) unable to play music or watch movies or the pictures in the library. Actually, all the names still remain but when I select any item, it is like void...
When I tried to re-do the picture downloading, the iPod is unable to get connected with the camera. Also, the rolls of the previous pictures I downloaded on the iPod does not appear anymore.
Does anybody know what to do to get it work again and most of all to retrieve the pictures previously downloaded from my camera?

Try rebooting your iPod.
1) Slide the lock button to ON.
2) Slide the lock button to OFF.
3) Press 'menu' and 'centre' button together for several seconds.
If that doesn't work, try the same thing with an extra bit that forces it into disk mode:
1) Slide the lock button to ON.
2) Slide the lock button to OFF.
3) Press 'menu' and 'centre' button together for several seconds.
4) When/if you see the Apple logo, press 'centre' and 'play/pause' buttons together for several seconds.

Ipad to iphoto pic transfer

Can anyone explain how to do this?

Photostream doesn't include video. Attach your device to your computer with a USB cable and import the video using your photo application (i.e. iPhoto)

Pics from iCloud update question

New photos made with my iPhone are transferred to iCloud almost immediately. But how is this transfer being triggered to my Mac?
I wanted to send an e-mail including a pic I had made before on my iPhone. It was in the Cloud already. But it did not appear in my Mail.app media window. It seems I have to start up iPhoto to trigger the pic transfer. Which is annoying.
Is that true?

Yes it's true. WHat's going on is that for the image to appear in the Media Browser iPhoto needs to write to the xml file that governs that, and it can only do that when running.

Camera and ipod shuffle do not show up on desk top when connected

Kodak camera and ipod shuffle do not show up on desk top when connected. Trying to download pictures and adding my music to ipod shuffle, Anyone have any suggestions.

Have you plugged in another USB device to ensure that the USB ports are working?
Suggest you buy (about $10 - $20) a USB memory card reader. Just plug your camera's memory card into it & copy the pic files to your Mac. Quicker & easier than interfacing the camera for pic transfer.
