Update: It seems as though the phone will charge if I plug it in and then turn it off. It will not charge while the phone is on. Also iTunes will not recognize it, so I can't sync or anything. You can create a new screen and select the screen type as model dialog box.This will give you a pop-up screen and you can call this model dialog box screen in the PAI of the screen where the button is present.(At user-command).

When I type in search words in the google box and then drop down to the search that matches what I want, and click on it, it does absolutely nothing. It used to complete the search, how do I get it to complete the search?

Here is an example:
I type Denver Dum in the google box.
It gives me several options, one is Denver Dumb Friends League, which is what I want. I bring the cursor to Denver Dumb Friends League and click. It does nothing. The google box still has Denver dum in it. The only way to get a search to be completed is if I type in the whole phrase and hit enter. How do I get it to search using just part of a phrase? It used to do this before I upgraded to the newer version of firefox. Thanks!

ICal problem--an error box comes up an won't go away. I can't close the error box and I can't activate the calendar because the error box needs to be cleared. There is no place on the box to click in order to close it.

I have a problem that just affects iCal. An error box popped up when I was trying to past something into a new appointment. The box blocks me from using the calendar. I can't clear the error box. It has nowhere to click to close it. Nothing happpens when I right click it. I have force closed iCal, but when it reopens the error box is still there blocking any use of the calendar. There is no error number, just a copy of the text I was trying to paste.

A good reason to get an upgrade from CS5 to CS6 is that CS6 can output as HTML5 so I am told. As there are features in flash that HTML5 can't reproduce, I am told that you can elect to have CS6 warn of these as you use them in your project when you first start the project, some setting you select maybe , rather than find out the hard way when the project is done and ready to be exported as HTML5, is this true ?
Is CS6 for HTML5 a good route to take or is it best to get the Adobe Edge program to create HTML5 ?
If I were to stay with CS6 I could at least use my existing graphics drawn in Freehand (Macromedia :-) now Adobe...grrr !) which I stepping stone into CS5 via Flash 8, support being dropped in CS5 by Adobe (grrrr again !) I bet Edge hasn't Freehand support. I cant go over to redrawing years of work in Illustrator, its an awful prog for those used to Freehand, Illustrator ex Freehand users also agree.

How can I autosize a text box and when I change text the objects below it got auto pushed down and up?

Now the text box seems at absolutely position and fixed size.
What I need is when I change text it grows or shrinks accordingly. And all objects after it also move up or down. How can I do that?

How to get the text boxes and select lists dynamically?

I have a requirement such that I need to create the text boxes and select lists depending on the user input at the run time. It means that if the user requires four text boxes/select lists then I need to have 4 such thing. If the user need 6 then I need to have 6.
The design may be such that initially only one text box/select list will be available when the page launches. Then as ad when the user asks for more those will be available to the user accordingly.

You can use Ajax to call textboxes and select list based on what user enters.
Otherwise make those items conditional and based on what user enters you can display textbox or select list.
You can call Single Textbox and Select List using Ajax for any number of conditions.

Livecycle: Can you click a check box and have it copy the entire field to a new location?

I have a check box and I want to check the box and have field 1a, field 1b, field 1c be copied to location on a third page.
These are patient goals: and those goals need to be recognized later on while trying to fill out paperwork, but I don't want to have to look back at the front page. so I want to pick which goals I want to see at a later page and have the goal (field) and the field content that was chosen on the first page show up.
I will choose three to five goals and I want them lined up
field 1a, field 1b, field 1c then underneath
field 2a, field 2b, field 2 c etc.

4 questions about the the top boxes - SD box and Home media DVR

Hello. I am going to be getting Fios soon and I have some questions about the boxes. I will be getting the Home Media DVR and 4 SD boxes.
1) Do these boxes have timers on them to set so the box can turn off at a certain time?
2) Do these boxes have parental control and if so is it good enough to block things that I do not want my child to see?
3) How many people can access the home media dvr at the same time to watch already recorded programs
4) If the Home Media DVR is in the family room can a record be started from the bedroom over the SD set top box (even an hd show)?

I have been using two Standard Set Top Boxes for about a year. I have Parental Controls on and all channels locked. When I want to watch a channel, I tune to that channel, note the LOCKED message, which tells me to press the OK button to enter ther Parental Controls PIN and unlock the channel for viewing.
This has worked flawlessliy for the last year -- ON THE Standard STB's.
I just ordered the Home Media DVR STB to replace one of my Standardt STB..
On the Home Media DVR:
I can set the Parentals Control PIN and lock the channels, in the exact same way I did o nthe Standard STB's. However, when tuen to ANY channel, I still ge the LOCKED message and instructions to press OK to unlock the channel -- BUT no matter how I press the OK button, the Enter your Parental Conlrols PIN dialog box willl NOT open. Nothing happens -- you CAN NOT view any channel.
Again, it is the EXACT setup as for the Standard STB, but the OK button will NOT unlock any of the channels.
If you unlock all channels and LOCK the Ratings, the same problem recurs: OK buitton will never open the "enter your PIN" dialog box.
I have received two replacement boxes and have spent hours on the phone with some very capable and helpful Techs -- no luck.
Has anyone else had the same problem? Here's how to test your Home Media DVR:
1. Menu-Settings-Parental Controls.
2. You will be prompted to CREATE youre Parental Controls PIN
3. Enter you PIN twice.
4. Use the > button to scroll to Enable On/Off and set it on.
5. scroll down to Control Channels
6. Press > button to See Locked Channels
7. Scroll down to Add/Remove Channels
8. Scroll right to choose LOCK ALL
9. Press OK and then scroll to YES to lock all channels
10. Press EXIT to get out of settings.
11. All channels are now locked.
12. Go to any channel
13. A black screen will appear with a lock silhouette with the word LOCKED below, followed by instructions to Press OK to enter PIN and unlock this channel. (plus how to change locks...).
14.Press the OK button and, if it is working, you will see a dialog box at the bottom of the screen that is titled: UNLOCK, with the channel listed and the instructions to "Enter your PIN using your numeric pad on remote to naje this channel availabe for all users." THere's a PIN box, which shows asterisks for each number entered, with "Press Exit to Cancel" below.
15. On the Standard STB, it works exactly as described in steps 1 thru 14. On the Media Center DVR, it works up to step `13, but in 14, no matter how you press the OK button, the UNLOCK dialog box never pops us. The Remote STB light flashes on the remove and the REMOTE yellow light flashes on the DVR, but nothng happens.
If you have a Home Media DVR, can you please try this and see if it works?
