Picture Browser help

Hi all,
how can i do a window that contains images (like image list)
and how can i control the image size that will be shown?
thanks.

I built a widget group that adds labels with images dinamicly (while pressing a
folder). the group has to change for every folder.
the problem is that the labels with the images are not visable when pressing a
folder but only if after I shrink or expand the window - only then they are
visable.
does anyone know why?

Firefox doesn't use BHO like IE.
For Firefox (and Google Chrome) you will have to create extensions to add extra features.

I am a novice web designer and I need help!
The above site listed is the site I am currently working on. As you can see the menu bar...is not a menu bar at all but a long list of links along the left side.
HOWEVER, when I click on LIVE VIEW in DreamWeaver everything looks fine.
There should be 7 total menu bars with 7 Dropdown menu options each (except on the bottom menu bar which there will only be 4 I believe)
What am I doing wrong??

I just want to add, however, that somehow my Spry Assets folder was placed somewhere outside of the rest of my files! no wonder I was confused.

How to set IE compatibility view programmatically in Browser Helper Object?

Goal: In IE11, I need to set "IE=EmulateIE7" compatibility view for particular websites.
Adding an HTML meta header or a HTTP response header is not an option as we do not control the websites. Configuring IE (Tools > Compatibility View settings...) is not fine-grained enough as it truncates the website URL to the second and top level domains.
My approach is to achieve the same but more fine-grained with the help of a Browser Helper Object (BHO). Is this possible at all?
I created a C# Hello World BHO according to an online sample. It works in IE9. I haven't tested it in IE11 yet. Now I need to add some flesh to the bone. My idea is to register with the appropriate WebBrowser event, check the URL being retrieved, and then
set a WebBrowser property to turn on compatibility view if necessary.
Is this feasible?
Which WebBrowser event would that be? DownloadBegin or DownloadEnd? Other?
pure guess: WebBrowser.PutProperty("X-UA-Compatible", "IE=EmulateIE7")?
Any ideas to cut down my trial-and-error space? Thanks a lot!

The compatibility list is more about developer and user preference and Microsoft tends to not provide API to override preferences.
If the user accepts launching a separate window to render the content in some alternative browser (pretty much like viewing source in Notepad) you can modify the browser emulation registry value before launching your own webbrowser control based application.

Issues with browser helper in OATS

I'm using OATS and am running into issues with not being able to start the browser helper when I attempt to record a session.
I've tried to restart the browser utility, have re-installed the software and still have the problem.
I had encountered this problem before on another box and the Windows admin gave me domain admin privileges and then I no longer had issues with the browser helper.
Has anyone run into this before? Can anyone tell me whether or not there is any information available going over any required permissions for this tool?

I just want to provide a better description of our issue here.
We work in a secure environment and our client workstations are locked down in order to satisfy the organizational requirements of our customer.
In this environment, we had the problem with starting the browser helper while using the openscript utility. Having local admin on our workstation did not address the problem. We played around with some of the individual permissions to no avail and finally, the admin applied the domain admin privilege to allow us to move forward with our testing.
Can anyone shed any light on what individual privileges would be necessary to run this tool?

Lync 2010 - Browser Helper & Lync Add-on

We are rolling out Lync 2010 via SCCM. One of the things we've noticed is that Lync automatically installs two brower add-ons: Lync 2010 - Browser Helper & Lync Add-on. Is there any way
not to install these? or at least install them with the default of being disabled?
Otherwise, the users get prompted that "The Lync browser helper is ready for use" and asks if they want to enable it.

As the further test, EnableBHOSmartTags didn’t work.

Find out the class ID of Lync add-on.
Then find the class ID in registry key.
Open the path [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Ext\Settings\{31D09BA0-12F5-4CCE-BE8A-2923E76605DA}. It is for Lync add-on.
There is no Flags registry key, you should create it manually.

I use Firefox as my default browser, since the firefox plug-in "default browser helper 537" was installed (in November) my mac has slow down, especially when browsing using both firefox and safari. I un-installed firefox a week ago and my pc has gone back to it original state. I installed Firefox again after two days from the previous un-install and the browsing slow down again. I then un-installed again. Has anyone experience this! IS there a issue with Firefox???

Just experienced same today. Firefox didn't even want to quit without a force quit. Removed Firefox and so far so good with other browsers - Safari and Chrome

By "doesn't work in actual browsers" do you mean while using Preview in Browser, or have you uploaded the page and it's not working?
If it's not working after being uploaded, make sure all of the supporting files have been uploaded (.js and .css) as well.
If it's not working in PIB, is it with all browsers, or just certian ones?

Hi Jon,
Try placing your curser in the middle and click on that page a few times. Often this will make it available for editing.

I just drove 4 hours to the nearest Apple store, the same on that replaced the battery 3 months ago. They tried to fix it, but could not and then admitted they probably did something when they replaced the battery. Just updated my ipad4. now its in recovery mode it wont leave it and even tried that fancy little home and lock screen trick. It is telling me i need to restore. I do not want to because i have not backed up my pictures. HELP!!!!!!!

It's too late now to worry about not having backed up. You have to restore the iPad or .....
A. You can have a device that still has all of the photos on it but you can't get to them because the device doesn't work
or.....
B. You can restore, lose the photos and have a functioning device again.

Cannot install Browser Helper successfully

Hi,
When install browser helper with "InstallBrowserHelper.bat" ,but always get a popup saying"OpenScript cannot be installed successfully while a browser instance is running.There are 3 instacnes of Internet Explorer running. ....." even though I confirm that there are no IE or FireFox or other explorers running. I try to restart my machine then double the .bat file , but got the same popup.
Can anybody help me ?
I also tried to execute the browserHelpersInstaller.jar and double click UninstallBrowserHelpers.bat to uninstall browser helper, but again and again got the same popup saying 3 instances of Internet Explorer running. Why are always 3 instances of Internet Explorer ?

I've reinstalled OATS after delete reg OracleATSHelper under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\services\, then double click UninstallBrowserHelper.bat, delete folder Oracle IE ToolBar, double click InstallBrowserHelpers.bat, howerver, I still got a popup saying " WebDom Browser Helper installation failed! Failed to register OpenScript IEToolbar DLL".
Still I cannot run openscript cases through OTM. There are 2 situations:
1) Without stopping the Agent in OTM server. Run recorded case through OTM, no browser is automatically opened and it stopped at the first step, saying "*Failed Object "/web:window[@index='0' or @title='New Tab']" failed to respond to action: <Message name="Navigate"><Parameter WindowIndex="0"></Parameter>*<Parameter Url=......."
The same case can be run successfully from OpenScript.
2) Stop the agent in OTM server , Run c:\> C:\OracleATS\agentmanager\bin\AgentManagerService.exe -c C:\OracleATS\agentmanager\bin AgentManagerService.conf in a cmd prompt ,then execute the script from OTM, however, a browser is automatically opened on the agent side only for 1 second. Also, the result is failed...
How can I run openscript cases from OTM successfully??
Can anybody help me?
