Picture for contact question

Okay - in all of the examples and videos when you call someone or are in a call it shows that the images is a small thumbnail next to the name with what looks like your wall paper on the entire screen.
When I am in a call the wallpaper changes to the photograph I have associated with the contact.
So - how do I get it to look like it does in the pictures and videos?

When a photo is selected for a contact on the iPhone, the photo for the contact fills the entire screen as the caller ID.
When selected via the Address Book application, it will be shown as a thumbnail only which I've never liked much since it is a head shot only which isn't large enough IMO so I prefer the full photo option.

I have recently upgrade to the iphone 5. I use MS Exchange to sync contacts and email. I want to have full screen picture for caller ID but it only gives me a thumbnail. Any suggestions to get full screen picture for caller ID?

It used to be that if you assigned the picture while on the phone, it was full screen. I remember reading around iOS 5 I believe that it only allowed for full screen, but I still have a couple that are only thumbnails that have been synced over from contacts in LinkedIn. Try assigning the picture from the phone itself and see if that changes it.

Contacts - take picture for contact photo (bug report)

I came across a problem using my Q5.
When I attempty to add a new contact, and proceed to take a picture for that contact, the camera doesn't allow me to take a picture. Further, the camera does not respond and I can only swipe up and close the camera app. It appears the camera continues to 'stay on' and the volume controls do not work after.
this is cleared up after a reset.
also, after the latest update, the phone continues to report that it has been updated to the latest version upon successful reboot (unsure if this is intended)

Yes adding a picture from the system works. The only update notice is post reboot, when loading into the main screen.

Ringtone and picture for contacts N8

I am trying to give some contacts a ringtone and picture. But what I am doing, it doesn't work.
I go to contacts than "bewerken"(Dutch), "rewrite" in Englisch? and give a tone and picture from my Nokia N8.
But when they call I see nothing and hearing my standard tone.
Anyone a idea?

I find adding pictures to contacts easiest using Ovi suite, select contact, edit, add picture from pc then sync contacts. With ringtone,on the handset, select contact>options>edit, scroll to ringtone tap and then select the tone you want to assign to the contact.

I cannot find images for contact sheet printing.

I have been printing hundreds of contact sheets and from time to time when I add pictures for contact sheet, I am unable to find the images I want even though they are open and in the project bin and in the same folder. I may find two but not the other two and so on. They all are the same size. Thanks.

You need to go into more detail about your problem. Perhaps you can provide screenshots of your dilemma with the software and provide more information that may help people answer your question. If not, you can always try reading the manual.

Help Needed on Importing Pictures for a Contact...

I've managed to get a picture or two in Addressbook, but it must have been pure luck. Tonight I went to replace the "flower" that is next to a persons name, and though I dragged a picture into the little frame where you can enlarge and shrink it successfully, and I pressed the button that says "SET"....the picture never "takes" and replaces the one that is there.
Is there a catch to easily getting a picture to go in here?

Try this (from AB help):
Address Book supports pictures in JPEG, GIF, TIFF, PNG, PDF, or just about any graphics format. If you can view the image with Preview (located in the Applications folder), Address Book can generally use the image as a picture for a card.
To choose an image for a contact:
Select the contact to which you want to add an image and click Edit.
Double-click the image if there is one. If there is no image, double-click the box to the left of the contact's name.
Click Choose and locate the image you want to use.
Drag the image in the box to select the portion you want to appear in the box.

Events are organised strictly on date and time, as read by iPhoto from the Exif data in the Photo. You cannot manually sort.
Create Albums. You can do much more organising with Albums, use Photos from different events, place them as you will. Best of all, Albums use no disk space at all. They simply reference the file on the Hard Disk. So a pic can be 1, 10 or 100 Albums with no wasted disk space whatever.

Try resetting your iPhone. Hold the on/off and home buttons together for about 10 seconds till the Apple logo appears.
On a separate point, you may wish to consider updating your iPhone if you're still on iOS 5.0.1 as your post says.

Congrats on getting the Droid Maxx! It's an awesome smartphone with so many features that you are sure to love. Transferring pictures from contacts are a piece of cake! May I ask do you have the Facebook app installed on the device? If not then I would suggest doing this first. After you have done so then log in so you can sync your Facebook contacts with your regular contacts. This way, the profile pictures will migrate with your Facebook contacts. Once done, please update us just in case more assistance is needed.

How do you use your pictures for web, iPad & smartphones? All the same size??

i realy think back and froth about this question.
i guess it makes sense - to use all the same size - because newest Ipads and Iphones are with retina-screens !??
on the other hand i use background-pictures for the website with a lenght of 1800px (it's 400 kbit) so it may slow down my the mobile version
but i know , people always scroll and zoom into evrything with an Ipad and smartphone ... So what to do? What is your hint ?

For me anyways, I 'always' create my images to the size I need and then bring them into what ever web design tool I am using wether it is Muse, Dreamweaver, Coda or a number of others. It takes a few minutes longer but I always get the results I need and expect.

Ask for security question but they send the email to my other second account ! Not the same email which i logon it

I had a weird problem i have two id apple account one of them i forget the security question i try to ask for reset but when i login to first email and ask for reset they send the email to other email which is in other account !! I need it to send to the same email which i login through it i do not know how they know the other email is my second email
Now i can not reset my security question because they send it to other email which has been hacked !!
