Picture Going Out after buying Pioneer Receiver

I just installed a pioneer VSK 921K receiver and using HDMI in/out, I am having a problem where the picture goes out, but not the sound after about 2 hours, sometimes an hour of watching. When I switch from DVD back to DVR it comes back and I don't have any issues.
I'm inclined to think it's my TV going down the tubes, but it seems very coincidental to me that it started the same day I installed my new receiver.
Is this something I should be worried about with my TV or receiver (TV is a plasma 50 inch pioneer).

It sounds like the TV is losing "handshake" with the receiver. Make sure the cables are firmly seated. Your TV may be an older version of HDMI than is on the receiver, but that should not be any real problem.

No not jailbroken. After the update which took about 45 minutes. The phone went black. Dead. Wouldn't restart. Using the new itunes I tried to restore it. It went through the motions; the white Apple and progress bar appeared on the iphone screen. Then I got a message "Itunes has detected an iphone in recovery mode. You must restore this iphone before it can be used with itunes." Then the phone went completly dead again. I Repeated the process and got the same results. Is there another way to restore the phone if it's dead, besides itunes?

Everytime I'm watching a video and I get a text or any type of notification the video picture goes out?

when i'm in the middle of watching a video and get an alert. As soon as I hit respond or ignore and resume the video the picture goes out but the sound remains? It does this everytime!

On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 11 running?
Your videos are likely 1920 x 1080p30 H.264.mov. Please confirm.
First question, do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer. If not, please do that

PIcture goes black after making adjustments...Why?

I was using the repair tool to remove something from an image and my entire image went to black. Now its still there as a thumbnail but when I bring it up large on my screen, its a big black screen. Why is it doing this and how do I correct this? I noticed this a lot when I first started using Aperture and never figured out how to fix the issue other than clicking UNDO a few times and then I would see my picture again but that doesn't solve the issue if I need to edit the image!

By the way there is nothing showing in my Histogram either which is VERY STRANGE!!! Correction when I click on a slider, I do see the levels in my histogram but once I release the mouse from the slider, it goes empty and my image remains black.

This has happened to me as well. "Something" has corrupted my library. I have had to repair and rebuild my database several times. The "picture goes black" was a symptom. Shortly after that the color wheel started and Aperture crashed. Had to "force quit", then repair/rebuild.
My guess is there is a corrupt picture. If I could determine which one and remove it, I would.
I never had this problem until upgrading to version 3. I'm current with Snow Leopard and Aperture.
Never thought I would see an Apple Application crash as often as a Windows application.

It's not Apple's fault that you can't have iOS 7 for your device.
It is simply the fault of your device - the hardware won't do it.
You should be glad that you just got iOS 6.1.5.

Dropped 3gs into lake for 2 hours. Found and put in rice for sev. days. Will come on when connected to power, but not pc. Goes out after min. or so. Will it likely work again without service or am I dreaming?

As mentioned above, I dropped my Iphone 3gs into lake and it took me about two hours to fish it out. I put it in a jar of rice for over a week. It will now come on only if I plug it into the electrical oulet. It will not come on using the usb connection on the pc. It also cuts out after a short time - usually about a minute or so. Will this phone likely work correctly again without major service or should I just forget it? I have aready bought a replacement to use, but I hate to just toss it if it may work again. Also, is there anything else I can do short of taking it in to the Apple store? I suspect the cost of service will not be justified.

You are welcome. There are always suggestions of things to try, but in the end you just get frustrated and end up taking it in anyway...save yourself the trouble and visit the Apple store genius bar.

Would it be better to just trash this tv and buy a new one? Sorry to use this board but the menu option to find the correct board wouldn't work.

Ms 6777 v1 Video goes out after windows logo screen.

I have done a REFORMAT and INSTALL.
I have used all the newest dirvers for the bard from nVIDA .com.
I also have used the newest VIDEO drivers from nVIDA com.
At some point, random, I loos my video. I can get video by booting into fafe mode. But it always goes.
Any help on trouble shooting this?

Audio goes out after retiming clip..

I'm working on a project in FCPx and I'm retiming a clip to 89%, but everytime I change it there's no audio whatsoever. It just stops working.
Tried it with detaching the audio first and retiming them separately and the same thing happened. There aren't any soundwaves visable after I retime either.
Help, this is driving me crazy!!

I'm a soft head. Now I understands what You want to do.
OK there is a smart way to exchange video for a photo but keeping the audio. BUT
I use a much more raw way of doing this.
I import my photo. Set a duration for it eg. 4 sec => 00:00:04:00 exactly
then I select the video clip
Extract sound - so that I don't affect this when doing the brain surgery
Cut in the video part away exactly 00:00:04:00
Select the photo clip - drop this before the un-needed video clip
Select the un-needed video clip and delete this.
Now I've replaced a pice of the video with a photo but the sound flows as it
was un-tuched.
I always work this way - think it has to do with super-8 film editings during
the stone-ages.
There is a function in iMovie that does this - replace action but I've never used it.

I just started using Mail 3.3. Each E-mail that I send includes my account picture (a baseball). Is there any way to delete this feature?

Motion Tracking An Object That Goes Out Of The Sceen?

Hi i am quite new to after effects i have only been using it for a few months im using after effects cs4,here is my problem i am trying to track a picture frame but when the picture goes out of the scene,the motion tracking path just goes crazy. It works great when the picture frame is in the scene
example
the camera is pointing straight at the picture frame, works perfect, but when the camera turns right , and the picture frame is no longer in the scene, my track path just goes wrong.
How do i stop this?
Do i have to make a seperate motion tracking null object? or is it something to do with backwards tracking?
Any help on this would be great i have serched youtube,adobe for the answer but i cannot find it anywhere

Yes, that's just how it is. AE has no way of knowing where those markers might be and even tracking points separately and in segments can only take you so far. You'll have much better luck trying such things with mochaAE, which comes with the main program. IUt assumes that all points would be part of a plane. If even that isn't enough, then probably 3D matchmoving tools like SynthEyes are your only option...

Macbook Pro won't start up, white light turns on, then goes out.

My Macbook Pro froze, so I hit the power button, and now it will not turn on.
When I press the power button the white light on the front comes on, and then goes out after about 6 seconds along with that noise it normally makes when turning off. Also if I cover both speakers the light fades.
This used to happen to me pretty regularly, and in the past it seems just a matter of giving it 24hrs and then trying to turn it on and it usually fixes itself by then. But I've started taking on freelance clients so I can't deal with this crap anymore and would like to know why this is happening. I've taken it to Genius's before but by the time I get there it is turning on again, and they have no answers for me.

You could try reseting the PRAM/NVRAM (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379, see section titled "Resetting PRAM and NVRAM") or reseting the SMC (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3964).

Not receiving texts after buying iPad

Hi
After buying an iPad my incoming texts kept going to the iPad. I turned iMessage off the iPad as it's at home in use by other family members when I'm out. I then stopped receiving texts or the texts I did receive had removed the contacts name and left the number so I had no idea who they were from. After reading your forum I turned I message back on the iPad, still no texts and the missing texts not showing. I'm not sure what to do next, shall I just disable I message from both iPhone and iPad and not bother with it? I don't want messages going to my iPad only my phone.
This is causing issues as I receive texts regarding work and arrived at work to a huge issue I had no idea about due to not receiving the texts the night before. Suggestions would be much appreciated

Sounds like it could be a hardware problem.
Try a restart or reset to see if that helps. If not, contact Apple Support.
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).
No data will be lost.
