Picture in Picture not exporting? (semi emergency)

So I am making a video for work that involves using PIP. It looks perfect in the .prel, but when I export it to any form, the PIP disappears.
I have made sure that the eye is open and I copied the exact things the tutorials did.
I am using Adobe Premiere Elements 12.

For now I am assuming that your Premiere Elements 12 is on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
What specific PiP effect did you use....was it from fxEffects/Presets and one of the 25% or 40% ones or did you create the picture in picture effect by scaling down an image over the background below it?
I suspect that you have a project mismatch of settings somewhere along the line, so prepare yourself for the following questions.besides the details of how you created the PiP effect.
1. What are the properties of your source media - brand/model/settings for camera that recorded the files
Video Compress
Audio Compress
Frame Size
Frame Rate
Interlaced or Progressive
File Extension
Pixel Aspect Ratio
2. When you played back the Timeline content in the Edit area monitor, did the monitor space have any black borders?
3. What are the details of your export...
Publish+Share/what/what and what preset? Did you use the defaults for the preset selected or did you customize the preset
under the Advanced Button/Video Tab of that preset?
Let us start here, and then we can decided what next based on your details.

I was having the same problem you're having - for those that don't understand... I synced photos on to my ipad which placed them inside "photos" not cameral roll. I then sold me laptop as I thought I had no need for it. When I bought my new iMac I tried to use my external hard drive which had my back up on, however my hard drive no longer works. Thus unable to retreive my photos on to my iMac!
Anyway... long of the short of it is theres no easy way. But there are a few ways. I'm currently using icloud's photo stream. As long as you have photo stream set up on your mac you can create a shared stream on the ipad with a friend. This shared stream will appear on your mac, you can then "import photos" straight from the shared stream.
Alternativley you could use something like drop box. Sync your pictures from iPad to drop box. Then download from drop box to Mac. As I said, no easy way that I have found but this does work. It just takes a long time.
Key Facts:
You can have 5000 photos inside a sharred stream
You can have 100 sharred streams
Therefore you can stream 500,000 photos - I hope you don't have that many.

User Profile Pictures not deleting / replacing

Hello,
I have been struggling with this issue for a couple of weeks and think I may need some help. I have a user profile sync application which works fine, it syncs several attributes from AD into SharePoint, it also exports user profile pictures back to
AD for Exchange and Lync to use, this all works fine.
I was asked to replace a picture for a user, which I did using the 'Manage User Profiles' page in Central Admin. I didn't realise there was an issue until I was asked again a week later, it seems the update had not worked. I tried again, and
lo and behold the picture managed to revert back to the old one again.
After a lot of messing around deleting the picture, syncing, adding the new picture, syncing again etc I could not get the new picture to stay, the old one kept coming back. I do not think the issue is related to the sync, but more with SharePoint itself,
here is a symptom I believe is related:-
I delete a user's picture from 'Manage User Profiles', the picture is gone and the user's mysite page shows the placeholder pic.
Looking in the mysites site collection in User%20Photos/Forms/AllItems.aspx the 3 pictures for the user have disappeared. However if I browse to the url of the picture - User%20Photos/Profile%20Pictures/*username*_SThumb.jpg (or mthumb or lthumb) the
picture appears in my browser.
Next if I add a new picture for the same user through central admin, I then see the new picture in their mysite, I can also see 3 thumbnails of the user's photo under the mysites site collection in User%20Photos/Forms/AllItems.aspx
So far so good, however, if I browse to the url of the picture (including the filename as above) then I am shown the old picture :S
So it appears that the pictures in User%20Photos/Profile%20Pictures/_w and User%20Photos/Profile%20Pictures/_t are updating with the new picture, but the pictures in User%20Photos/Profile%20Pictures/ do not get updated, or even deleted properly when they
are removed.
Hope somebody can shed some light on this as it's really annoying me now! Thanks :)

According to your post, my understanding is that the replacing picture not work properly in MySite.
I tried to reproduce the issue in my environment(SharePoint server 2013+SP1), it works without any issue.
Did the issue occur for all the users?
To narrow down whether the issue is related to the User Profile service, you can use other accounts to check whether it works.
If that is the case, you can recreate the user profile service application to check whether it works.
If your environment does not install any updates, you can install SP1 or latest update to check whether it works.
You can also check the event log and ULS log to see if anything unexpected occurred.
To check event log, click the Start button and type “Event Viewer” in the Search box.
For SharePoint 2013, by default, ULS log is at
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\LOGS

Set number of pictures for exporting a sequence

Hi all, I am trying to export sequences from premier pro, the only trouble I am having is it's exporting too many pictures.
I can delete them to the specific number I need which is 12, but I am hoping there is a way to set the actual number of pictures it exports.
I have put the framerate down to 5 but I am still getting double the amount of PNG's exported that I need.
Is there a way to have premier pro export a specific number of pictures from the sequence?

The only way I know how to do this is to give your project file to Jerry Hofmann... he's been editing so long he can eyeball it and be accurate to within 10 cuts up to 2 hours.
Not trying to be funny -- but I'm not sure how you can do it. Maybe exporting an edl??? Not sure even there if that would be helpful.

Put a border around #footerPanvalid to make sure that you can

Pictures not showing up, when uploaded?

Hey I have a website www.anchorstudios.ca. Anyways I have been using it for quite awhile for our business. Lately we have had problems with certain pages in our websites. For whatever reason instead of a picture there would be a question mark there. Anyways when I go back into Iweb it looks normal. I try uploading again, and it is still not there. I have tried switching pictures, which either made that picture not show up, or it made different pictures not work. Sometimes there are also problems with the buttons. I also tried deleting the whole page and making a different one? Anybody who has had problems and any success getting rid of this please let me know. Here is the page we have the most problems with:

Darryl ~ If you haven't already done so recently, in iWeb choose +File > Publish All to .Mac+ and then, in a browser, view those pages which previously had photos missing.
If that didn't help, it may be a system problem...
Quit iWeb and in +Applications > Utilities >+ double-click on +Disk Utility+. In the column on the left, click on +Macintosh HD+. Click on the +First Aid+ tab then on +Repair Disk Permissions+. When that has finished just note whether or not many permissions were reported & repaired. Now restart iWeb and choose +File > Publish All to .Mac+. Then, in a browser, view those pages which previously had photos missing.
If that didn't help, quit iWeb and in +Library > Preferences+ look for a file called either:
com.apple.iWeb.preferences.plist
or:
com.apple.iWeb.plist
Drag that file to the Trash. Restart iWeb (it will automatically create a "clean" plist file) and choose +File > Publish All to .Mac+. Then, in a browser, view those pages which previously had photos missing.

Pictures not showing in photo app after syncing.

I synced my N8 with windows media player after the anna update but couldn't see any pictures in the photo app. Pictures are already on the device inside "pictures" (not "images") folder in E: drive. After playing a bit, i figured out that photos app only read the pictures inside "images" folder of E: drive. Is there any possible way to make photo app read files in the "pictures" folder or make Windows Media Player sync with the "images" folder instead of "pictures" folder. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I guess you just have to move them every time from Pictures folder to Images you sync with windows media and I prefer to start using Ovi Suite to sync
to move a file you should mark it first then click Options - Organize - Move to - choose whatever folder you want

Pictures not appearing - sometimes

I am using the x5 version with Word 2003 SP3 and I have been
having issues with some of my pictures not appearing when I
compile. In this project I make a .hlp file and I don't remember if
I have had this issue with the few .chm projects I have. If I use
the Active Test button, my picture appears, but when I make the
final hlp file I end up with the {bmc filename.bmp} link appearing
instead of the picture.
I have played around with inserting another graphic and
moving lines around and there is something really strange in there.
If I insert another graphic, the new one shows up as the {bmc} and
the old one actually shows the picture. If I remove the new
picture, I go back to showing the {bmc} for the old one again.
In other cases I had to move the picture to a particular line
and if there were any blank lines around it I would get the {bmc}
again. I only work on help projects a few times as year, so I do
not remember exactly what I did to get the picture to appear the
last time this happened. I just remember getting it to appear by
putting the picture right next to a certain paragraph and I left it
that way - even though it wasn't the best looking page that way.
Has anyone had anything similar to this happen before? It is
really hard to figure out what is going on and finding and fixing
the missing pictures is a big project. Any ideas would be greatly
appreciated!

I too had a similar problem with my winhelp 2000 project. The
images were not getting displayed in the output.
I was told by Mr. Peter Grainge that the images should be
only inserted through the robohelp's New Help Image tool button. It
solved the problem.
As I was adding another word document to the project, I ended
up creating two separate folders for the images from both
documents. Now, when I generated the output the images again went
missing. So, I took a chance by cutting and pasting all the images
in a single folder and presto !! It works. The images are getting
displayed.
Just check whether the folder where ur images are stored lays
in BMROOT. If not, then you have to insert them again.

Transferring pictures not on camera roll to Macbook Pro-HELP!

A year ago or so my harddrive on my Macbook Pro unmounted and I lost everything. Well before that happened I had uploaded thousands of pictures to my Ipad 2 and so those are pictures not on the camera roll but in I guess a different kind of 'gallery'. Also, I am not very computer savy so I apologize if this answer is simple. But my problem is that I want to be able to take all of the pictures off of my Ipad 2 and get them back onto the Macbook but when I hook the sync cable up and Iphoto opens it only gives me the option to sync the camera roll gallery. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone!

You cannot import synced photos back to the Mac. Only camera roll photos will import. There are third part WiFi transfer apps that will allow you to transfer photos from any album on the iPad back to the Mac. There are a number of these apps in the App Store. I use this one.

Pictures not printing?

I downloaded a knitting package with 50 pages. It has several pics on each page. The document prints but the pics won't come in. Any ideas. I have tried to reach the publisher to no avail.

Don’t know for sure, but they finally printed. Whatever you did I thank you for it. I printed them several days ago and I didn’t know how theh showed up in my documents. When I pulled the document up and the pictures were there, I just printed them and was thrilled. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you and again, thank you - let me know what I can do to pay for this repair. I haven’t seen a invoice, this is the first notice I received and just saw it today. Today is 12/9.
