Picture message didn't automatically send after enabling data... or did it?

I went back to my message i was trying to send after I enabled mobile data, like it told me to, but my message wasnt a draft- it looked like it had been sent, but I don't think it was.
Can someone help me out? thanks.

Problem resolved: it did not send until I turned off wifi. I then noticed that the "sent at (time)" appeared, so now I know it definitely sent.

  • My iPhone 5 won't automatically send iMessages (enabled in settings)

My iPhone 5 won't automatically send iMessages to other peoples' devices who have iMessages enabled, unless they send an iMessage to me first. My phone automatically sends SMS only, and does not automatically detect if other people have iMessage capability. My iPhone 4 on the same apple ID did not have this problem, even after I updated the software to iOS 6.
I have enabled iMessages in my "settings", as well as checked only my phone number in the "receive at". My boyfriend also has an iPhone 5, but he is able to send iMessages to other people who have iMessage.

    Hi Friend,
    * Check in Settings>>Messages>>Send and Receive, if your mobile number or Apple ID is selected at all. In my iPhone 4S for example, I am using my mobile number to send iMessages, instead of Apple ID.
    * Double check in Settings>>General>>Mobile is turn on. If yes, double check in "Mobile Data Network"  (sorry, maybe I wrote down the wrong name because my device is not in English : )) if you have filled the with the network carrier information. If everything are blank, you will not able to send/receive iMessages without WiFi connection.
    * Check also in Settings>>Notifications>>Messages, if "Show iMessage Alerts From" is "All" option selected.
    Good Luck...

  • Why can't i receive picture messages but I can send them out?

I have a droid 4 and a few months of having the phone i wasn't able to receive ANY picture messages, i'm still not its very irritating. I'm on my second replacement and nothing works. I call costumer service and even went into the verizon store, they tell me the same thing...turn it off turn it on blah blah blah. nothing works! this never happened to me with any of my other phones. please help!
oh and fyi i do use handcent text app and that has nothing to do with receiving pictures trust me i've tried it.

    Hi,
Check the File Transfer window (See Window Menu).
Does this say they Arrived ?
If it shows an spyglass icon does this open them or at least show where they are on your computer ?
It should place them in ~/Library/Messages/Attachments in strangely titled folder and sub folders.
However it Write to this folder via ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.iChat/Data/Library/Messages and then an Alias to the attachments folder.
You should check you have permissions to Write to the Actual Attachments folder and all the possible routes to that folder.

  • Stop automatic send after Form Submit

Using Acrobat Pro X, Version 10.16 on Windows 7 Professional, Sevice Pack 1.
When a user clicks the Form Submit button it launches an Outlook email and immediately sends an email through Outlook.
Is there anyway to allow the user to edit the email, add multiple receipients, before the email is sent?
    Thank you

Apparently this Monday is all about defying the odds! But alas, this is what is happening. I have no idea why - and my form submit button is not running any special Javascripts. It is simple routing a completed PDF to a mailto: address. Our users are all using Acrobat Pro X - so it is a straight PDF submission. I personally can't recreate it. Is it possible Outlook is doing something? Or an Outlook setting is triggering the event? Anyone else have this issue happen?

  • Internet is not working on cellular data after updating 8.0.2 in iphone 5s , wifi connectivity is fine , but no internet connection error message is start blinking even after cellular data is on , please help .

I am using iPhone 5s , internet is not working on cellular data even after it is on , wifi is working properly . Please help apple team.

    Hello Mario:
I'm actually surprised that Apple continues to push out 8.02 without addressing these issues. The problem will only anger more users and certainly finger-poking at Airplane Mode isn't the answer. This is an iOS8 code problem and no amount of 'resetting' is providing a reliable fix/solution that sticks.
These issues with loss of cell connectivity, apps that have lost functionality, etc., which are all directly associated to the arrival of iOS8, are so widespread in the user community and pervasive within individual iPads that it's clear there are significant fundamental problems with this release. Given the problems are so blatant, it's fair to ask the question of how they got by the Apple validation team.
What is the status at Apple on rolling out a fully V&V'd version to resolve this?  Respectfully, when it comes to some of my more useful apps, my personal iPad has become a paperweight. The user forums are full of these iOS8 complaints for several weeks and there doesn't seem to be a competent answer from Apple.  Even a "We're aware and we're working on it" would be well received.
Any hope that you can provide will be appreciated. (I'll be monitoring the thread on my Dell laptop because, well, my iPad is i-Inop!).
    Thanks!

  • IPhone 4s wont send picture messages to non iPhone users.

I've tried reinstalling the IOS 6, changing the settings, shutting off the phone. I can not send picture messages to non iPhone users but can send texts and receive texts and receive picture messages. just can't send. Help.

jannwj, sending and receiving pictures is very important these days because we try to capture the moment all the time. I know this issue is frustrating because I take, send, and receive pictures at least 20 times a day. I researched  your issue and did not find this as a known issue. Do you receive a error message? I recommend checking your message settings to ensure they are enabled. I have listed the steps below:
    1) From the home screen, select Settings.
    2) Select Messages.
    3) From MMS Messaging, drag the switch left or right to enable / disable.  Enabled when set to ON.
Please let me know if this helps. Also ensure the data network is enabled. I have listed steps below:
    1) From the home screen, select Settings.
    2) Select General.
    3) Select Cellular.
    4) Drag the Cellular Data switch left or right to enable / disable cellular data.
    On /Celluar data enabled
    Off /Cellular data disabled
Keep us posted with the status of your issue.

  • I have a samsung glaxy S III and I cannot send mms/picture message.

I cannot send MMS/picture message and I cannot send picture message through facebook too. Please help me I have check the use packet data from mobile network.

If you were trying to send them over Wifi, that may be the reason. For mms, you have to use the network data connection, it won't work on Wifi.

  • Internet/Market/Picture Messages all Not Working.

For atleast 2 months now, my Droid 2 has not been able to access the internet or view/send picture messages. I obviously have the unlimited Data plan, so why can I not connect to the internet? When I try to open the Market it says "A network error has occured."

Apologies, but have you powered the phone off? That is really trouble shooting step 1.
Mine often "forgets" it has a 3g network. A simple power off and then power on normally fixes it.

  • After updating to iOs 6 software, sending picture messages doesn't work or is extremely slow. Any advice?

After updating to iOs 6 software, sending picture messages doesn't work or is extremely slow. I have to try to send it multiple times before it will actually send and even then it will take almost ten minutes. Any advice?

  • Phone no longer can send / receive picture messages after "support" call

    Hoping someone can help.
A few weeks ago my phone was having intermittent problems sending picture messages (text are fine). I would sometimes have to retry several times for it to go through, but I could always get it to go through. I have a LG VX9400, btw.
Since it did not resolve itself I decided to place a support call. During that call the technician did "nothing", but after he had me dial *228 option 1 I can no longer send messages at ALL! I was then told I needed a software upgrade or could not be helped further. Now I've received the software update and it still does not work. It has been escalated to engineering and closed (without contacting me) and has been attributed to my phone, but nobody can tell me how they came to this resolution.
I have had this problem in the past where it's been on the Verizon network the configuration has to be changed (there have even been blocks that I've never put on there), but nobody is willing to dig into this and says I now have to reflash, hard reset my phone or get another one.
Also note, mobile web even for account management doesn't work (I did have blocks, have since taken them off so not sure if I have to wait). It also seems I am getting a message receipt failed when I turn my phone off and on, again I only noticed this after calling support.
Any help / suggestions / etc greatly appreciated as I really don't think it's my phone since it was working (albeit intermittent) prior to the "support" I received from Verizon.
    Thanks!!

    @MySlickDeals
It's very upsetting having picture messaging issues, especially after calling in to technical support and not getting the issue resolved. Let's get this worked on right away.
Have you tried deleting the old text and picture messages and retrying? Please also remove and reinsert the battery and retest.
Does this happen everywhere or just one location? After the software upgrade did they hard reset the device?
    Hard reset instructions:
From the main screen, press Menu.
    Scroll to Settings & Tools.
Scroll to Phone Settings, press OK.
    Scroll to Security, press OK.
    Enter Lock Code ???? displays,
enter the 4 digit lock code ( default: last 4 digits of phone number ).
Scroll to Reset Default, press OK.
Reset Default - Preference Settings will be set to factory defaults. Press <OK> to continue. displays, press OK.
    Scroll to Revert, press OK
If you are still experiencing issues after this reset please send me a PM and I will look into your account.
    Thank you

  • HT1688 why cant i send picture messages any more after upgrading to IOS 6

Yesterday my iphone for some odd reason turned to reovery mode and I was forced to restore&update my iPhone to the iOS 6. Now I can no longer send picture messages. i would like to go back to iOS 5.1 because the 6 is also draining out my battery and also for some reason my phone, again like yesterday, went into Recovery mode!  It is really fustrating. I spoke with AT&T and I am still on  the unlimited SMS&MMS plan. I dont know what the cause is of all these issues but I hope someone can fix it fat because every restore takes up 3-4 hours

I've never been able to share FaceBook posts nor seen the option using the iOS FaceBook app regardless the FaceBook app and iOS version. I can Like and I can Comment, and if I select a link or video to view under iOS 6, I can use the Share option for the link or video, but not for a post.

  • After i updated to ios6 i cant send or recieve picture messages?! help please

I recently updated to IOS6 and now i cant send or recieve picture messages unless im using imessage. But then when i do use imessage it send messages as my email not as my phone number....what is going on?!

    From the 2nd link below.
Errors 3000-3999 (3004, 3013, 3018, 3164, 3194, and so on): Error codes in the 3000 range generally mean that iTunes cannot contact the update server (gs.apple.com) on ports 80 or 443.
        1.    Update to the latest version of iTunes.
        2.    Verify the computer's date and time are accurate.
        3.    Check that your security or firewall software is not interfering with ports 80 or 443, or with the server gs.apple.com.
        4.    Follow Troubleshooting security software. Often, uninstalling third-party security software will resolve these errors.
        5.    An entry in your hosts file may be redirecting requests to gs.apple.com (see "Unable to contact the iOS software update server gs.apple.com" above).
        6.    Internet proxy settings can cause this issue. If you are using a proxy, try without using one.
        7.    Test restoring while connected to a known-good network.

  • All text messages deleted after trying to send a picture message

I was trying to send a picture message from my camera roll when the screen went black with the Apple logo. My iPhone reset and then the lock screen appeared. I opened my text message app and all my messages were gone. Is there a way to recover my messages? They are very important and I need them. I have the latest firmware and I backed up my iPhone a few days ago

Has anyone experienced this situation with their text messages?
