  • Text messages not being sent with Google Now or in Car Mode

When attempting to send a text message by voice using either Google Now or when in Car Mode, the text message gets created correctly to the right person, and the content of the message is correct.  When I confirm to send the message, I always get "Message Not Sent".  I'm able to send text messages manually using the standard Messages app.  Researching this issue, I've seen that there are some others having the same problem but I have not found or heard of a resolution.

    I don't have a Verizon Messages app.

  • My pictures are not being sent by icloud to my computer.

My pictures are not being sent to my computer by icloud.  I believe I have everything set up correctly. Can't figure what I am doing wrong.

I have the same problem. They were syncing up until 4/4, but I don't have anything newer than that. The photos are syncing correctly to iPhoto on my laptop, so (at least in my case) it's not a problem with the phone's configuration.
Photostream is enabled in iCloud control panel, and I've tried disabling and re-enabling it. The computer's been restarted plenty of times since it stopped working, so we can skip "try turning it off and on again".

  • Images not being sent with forwarded emails

    Hi,
When I forward an email sent to me that has attached images, those images are not being sent when I forward the email.
Yes, I am being asked to "Include" the attachments, and I click the Include button.
I see the images in my message to be forwarded just before I send it, but the recipient does not get the images.
    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Forwarding Mail fails to include pictures

Recently I've had a problem with my iPhone 3Gs when I forward an email that contains graphics. The graphic is fine on my iPhone but when it arrives the picture is missing. I am selecting 'include graphics'.
    I've re-booted - no change.
I've restored from a backup - no change.
I've restored without using the backup - no change (other than I lost a couple email accounts etc.)
    Anybody got any other suggestions?
    TIA

I have been having the same issue since late September and been in touch with Apple support since. First they said they had no other reports on it so it was my phone. I started checking and found many other with the same issue. I called back and finally in November I was told they were aware of the issue and was working on it. The first week of January I called again and was told the update first week of February was going to correct this. I did the new software update and guest what....IT STILL DOESN'T WORK!!! It is now February 14th and I am on the phone once again for the same issue that was known back in October 2009. I am paying $30 for data plan that I can not utilize 100%. My question after being patient for 5 months is who is going to refund me a portion of my data plan? Apple or AT&T?? This is a software problem that really needs addressed. Apple just releases an iPAD and can't correct this email issue??

  • Nokia 3110 Classic Messages not being sent

sent messages are being 'saved for sending' in outbox and not being sent. Message details give me a 'failed delivery' report. Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

Check if you have the right message centre number.
Messages sent by your phone are routed through your service provider's message center. Normally, this number is saved to your phone by your service provider. To save the number manually, do the following:
At the Start screen, press Menu 01-6 (Messages - Message settings).
"Text messages" is highlighted. Press Select.
"Sending profile" is highlighted. Press Select.
"Default profile" is highlighted. Press Select.
Scroll to "Message centre number" and press Select.
If the box in the display is empty, enter the number given by your service provider and press OK.
    OR
If the box in the display is full, edit the number only if you are sure the number is incorrect, or you want to change the number, and press OK.
A message appears in the display that confirms your number is saved.

  • Cc messages not being sent

I have just realized that mail messages I have been copying to people in the 'cc' header section of mail (version 2.1) are not being sent out. I use .Mac account.
    Any thoughts?

Does not being sent out mean these messages remain in the Outbox?
If a message cannot be successfully sent, it will remain in the Outbox mailbox.
A successfully sent message will be placed in the account's Sent mailbox and a successfully sent message is either accepted or rejected by the recipient's incoming mail server.
If rejected by the recipient's incoming mail server for whatever reason, you will received a return email error message from the recipient's incoming mail server indicating why the message was not accepted.
If no such error message is received, this indicates the message was accepted by the recipient's incoming mail server and what happens to the message after that is beyond our control.

  • Email messages not being sent

For the past several weeks I can not sent outgoing messages via my [email protected] email account. I get incoming messages but when I send something it appears in my sent folder but people don't receive my message at all?  I have a Macbook pro retina, relatively new bought in Dec 2013. I use the Mac Mail program (8.2 (2070.6) and have the latest MAC OSX installed (OSX Yosemite 10.10.2). I have checked and there are no newer updates.  I have tried deleting my email account and reinstalling it on the MACBOOK PRO, but  that doesn't help on either my wife’s or my cox.net email. My address is of the type [email protected] provided thru my TV Cable/internet provider.  The instructions from Cox say to set the incoming server to imap.cox.net and Port  993 with SSL checked. It is.  When I reinstall the email account under "MAIL/Add Account/Add other email account, the installer does it automatically and wont let me set the outgoing mail server so I can’t see what port it is set to and I can’t find any way to see what the outgoing server is set to? My Cox provider says the outgoing port should be set to Port 465 or 587 with SSL set to yes.
Under Accounts/Advanced the only information provided says it is using a IMAP Hostname of: imap.cox.net, Port 993 and Use SSL is checked. As said earlier this part is OK.
I have a gmail account that appears to work fine on the same laptop.  What can I do to resolve this serious situation?
PLEASE Help In the past with similar problems when I talk to someone at Apple they say it is a Cox problem and when I talk to Cox they say it is an Apple/Mac problem

Let be expand on what I have tried.
I have 4 email accounts. From my Mail account on the Mac I send emails to  myself (1) and wife emails (2) at our cox account, gmail account (3) and iCloud account (4). All are received fine and show up in my sent folders and inbox
I go to the Cox external website (webmail.west.cox.net) where I can log in as if I am on an external computer and send my self test messages from my cox account. I also get these
I ask people to send me emails to all 4 accounts. I get these
However when we send from the MAC Mail from either of our cox accounts, these do not get to their intended recipients even though they show up as being sent and as I copy myself they also get delivered to my inbox on the Mac. But that is as far as they go. The intended recipient does get them. Unfortunately, Mac Mail doesn't allow you to request a read receipt. so I have no way of knowing if they get them other than to ask them to respond each time.

  • International Texting - Messages not being sent.

I maintain regular contact with somebody overseas, and we have used internatonal texting often on a daily basis for the past few years. Recently, most of my messages have stopped coming through. Yesterday afternoon, I sent five consecutive text messages. The reciever did not get anything until this morning, and it was only one of the five messages I sent. The rest seem to have been lost (I'm ommitting the fact that the message that WAS recieved, was missing the last two characters a minor gripe).
Knowing this, I re-sent one of the five messages that was lost but 45 minutes later, it still did not come through. I then dialed *228 and updated my roaming capabilities, as it was recommended here. I sent another, fresh, short text message but this one was not received either.
I am texting somebody in Poland. This has worked (as far as I know) without a hitch for a long time, and I still receive every message that is sent to me.
    1) I would like to know how to fix this.
    2) I would like to know if I'm being charged for every text message that Verizon fails to send?

That's strange that it would stop all of a sudden. Did either of you add an app or change anything?
I would try deleting each other as a contact, then one of you try to send a message to the other using the full 10-digit number. If that is successful, add the contact back from the received message, and then REPLY to that message so the other can add from the received message.
Something may have happened to corrupt one or both contacts so things are messed up. By deleting (then reboot the phone) and adding back in it may solve the issue.
it may not, but it's worth a try.

  • Messages not being sent/recieved from a specific person

I have a Samsung Reality phone and my boyfriend has a Sprint... something. I'm not sure. We text eachother all the time, have been forever, but all of a sudden since Saturday night he's not recieving my messages and I'm not recieving his. Sometimes picture messages work, but text messages don't. I recieved two of his yesterday that he had sent about 12 hours beforehand. He's gotten nothing from me.
What should we do? It's strange... we've been texting each other from the same phones, same numbers for well over a year. Why is there a problem now?

  • O2 to EE and visa versa messages not being sent or received

    Not blocked you by accident?

I've recently been experiencing issues with messages. Myself and a friend both have iphones but he's on EE and I'm on O2. I reguarly send him messages that never get received. I don't know if this is a general messages issue or an iPhone imessages issues. My messages say they have been delivered but this is clearly inaccurate. Has anyone else experienced this issue and if so what can we do to try and fix it??  If I phone O2 they'll probably say it's an EE issue. I do not have this issue with any other of my friends who have iPhones and have checked. It just concerning as I've missed some very important messages. When I turn my phone on and off thinking that might ping them through it doesn't work. All messages are sent with good signal and either connected to 3G or wifi. We have also been know to phone each other when we have signal but despite this it goes through to voicemail straight away. Any help to resolve this extremely frustrating problem gratefully received.

        Hey Robe_93!
I am very sorry to learn about your messaging problems! I know that this is not the best first impression of the phone that we want for you, so allow me to help!
When you try and send a text, does it give you an error? How are your calls? Are you using the original text messaging application with the device? Any other issues that you can see? Anything to help us diagnose the problem....

  • My messages not being sent

I accidentally blocked someone (really) and I was texting them and couldn't figure out why they were not responding. My texts would go through but nothing would come back. It is a work associate that I need to deal with all the time.
I called him to see if he was receiving my texts and that's how I discovered I blocked him. After unblocking him last week neither one of us can text each other. My texts say "sending" for iMessages and if I send as a regular text he doesn't get them either. His do not come through. It worked one time and it was right after we got off the phone with each other and it sent all the messages at once.

Exact same issue here with my Galaxy Note 2.  Last text message I received was at 6:00am CST this morning.  I have tested with several different people and they are receiving my texts, but I am not getting their replies (or any other texts).  Data/Voice seems to be working fine.  In the Milwaukee market here...

  • Reply messages not being sent

Wonder if anyone else has had this problem. When I hit "reply" to a received e-mail, type in what I want to say and then hit the "send" button, message is not received by other party. Shows under my "Sent" folder. Has happened twice now to 2 different people and e-mail addresses. Curious if this has happened to anyone else? Thanks. Larry

  • Messages not being sent or received

I have a Mac that is running Mountain Lion and I have the latest updated Skype which I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times in an effort to fix the problem.
It seems to peskily pick and choose which messages it wants to send or receive, and just when I think it's working it goes back to not receiving messages and/or not sending my own. It has these little hiccups of working and properly sending/receiving messages that last a few seconds but for the majority of the time it will not send them.
I have restarted Skype. I have uninstalled and reinstalled with the most recent Skype update. I have restarted my computer. Nothing has worked so far. It's not the wifi either, Skype works just fine on the same Wifi on a different Mac of the same operating system.

PS. It's the messenger contacts that are not receiving/sending any messages
