Picture not downloaded in new PCs

Hi,
Not sure if this the right forum category, but i'll just try my luck. And pls direct me to the correct forum if i'm wrong.
I have a customized program (copied from RPLPBSR1_ALV), what the program does is downloading a ms word office document and inside there is photo of the staff). The program make use of OLE2_OBJECT to do that.
The method used to insert the picture is ADDPICTURE (of INLINESHAPES). I googled this out and saw that it belongs to Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.
The problem I encountered is: the picture is not downloaded into file in the new PCs.
Initially I thought it was because of diff OS. But turns out some of the PC is using OS Windows XP, Ms Office 2003 (which is the same as some of the existing PCs that are able to download the photo).
What could be the problem? And what is the solution to this?

Hi Kiran, sorry to inform you, turned out the solution did not work.
What I did was, I tried playing around (changing) the security setting in the IE browser (go to Tools-> Intenet Options -> Security tab). Somehow when I played around and set it to High, the photo not downloaded. So I thought that could solve it. Turned out after trying it in customer's PC, it did not work.

Photo stream not downloading / syncing to PCs consistently

I am having trouble downloading / syncing photos to my PC via Photo Stream. This used to work great, but now it appears that new photos are not either downloading at all or haphazardly to my two PCs (one running Windows 7 and the other Windows 8).
I have 2 iPhones using the same iCloud account. If I take a picture with either of those phones, the picture shows up on the other phone in the photo stream as expected. However it is not downloading to my PCs consistently any more. I have tried multiple troubleshooting steps including turning photo streaming on and off from the iCloud control panel and also completely uninstalling and reinstalling iCloud from the PCs. Still have the same results. Older pictures are downloaded, but newer ones are not being reflected.
This is getting very frustrating. Any suggestions on how to fix?

I am having the same problem. It seemed to be working fine until I upgraded to ios8.1 using my new Iphone6 now only some of the photos on my photostream are uploading to my PC.

If you have problems with updating or with the permissions then easiest is to download the full version and trash the currently installed version to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the DMG file to the desktop

* Trash the current Firefox application to do a clean (re-)install
* Install the new version that you have downloaded
Your profile data is stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder, so you won't lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

Problems with ios7; I can not download any new App

In general, I feel the new ios7 makes my ipod 5 slow, it has had a couple of problems, most of them minor or have a simple solution, or can be ignored while they fix it... what I can not ignore is that I can not download ANY new App...
I have been able to update a couple of them, though they have been very slow, now when I try to download something new, it seems like it'll work, but it never asks for my password as it used to and it never appears in the screen as downloading or anything. It is like if they'd just get stuck and waiting for it to react...

If yo mean that the pictures were not restored to the iPod after you restored from backup?
If so where were the photos that were not "downloaded".
The backup only includes the photos in the camera roll album. Also, the 30 days of photos from your PhotoStream will also download from your iCloud PhotoStream

It's not just one program. There are a bunch of podcasts that are not automatically downloading but must be streamed. Both the Onion Radio News and the Onion News Network videos frequently won't download but stream just fine. I've also had problems with NASA podcast channels, NOVA/PBS podcasts, Discovery Channel podcasts, Dilbert, and a bunch more. On top of that, there are several feeds that are not updating at all. I can go to the feed page and see new episodes, and I can download the new episodes just fine from within iTunes, but they refuse to acknowledge that there's anything new within the Podcasts app. As a workaround, I tend to still use iTunes for the feeds I have found to cause a problem, and unsubscribed from feeds that I have not found to be causing any issues. I then manually Sync those episodes onto the iPod. It's a real pain and the opposite of a convenience, but at least I'm getting my episodes. When they yank the feature from iTunes entirely, I will no longer trust the Podcast App and will probably pitch my ipod in favor of my android tablet - unless there are some REAL improvements in the next release. Of course, you could always NOT apply the upgrade to ios6 and stay on ios5...

Attachments not downloading on newer iMac using Apple Mail

I have a fairly new iMac (Dec 08) running the latest version of leopard (10.5.6). recently I have changed my mail from POP to IMAP. On the iMac, sometimes attachments will not "download". When I try and drag it to the desktop, I get an error message something like: "You can't drag this file until it is downloaded. Would you like to download now?" But if I try and manually download, nothing ever happens. Its as if the file really isn't there, just the "image" or name. However, on a powerbook connected to the same netwark, with the same email settings, (computer running 10.5.4), the files appear normal and download instantly.
I found a discussion of this from last year, with no resolution other than to perhaps mark the message as "unread", quit mail, and restart. this worked for one of the downloads in one email, one time, but did not work again. I also tried deleting the mail envelope index, to no avail.

This appears to be an issue with apple mail... Any solutions?
On a side note, I am also having problems with the internet connectivity under 10.5.6. There is a serious lag, or wait time for web links to start working. The web works, but there is a ridiculous delay that sometimes causes apple programs to time out. I have read that this is a DNS issue with Leopard. I am getting very disappointed with the latest Apple OS. It seems really buggy for very "primary" applications.

When using IMAP accounts, and removing the Envelope Index, you must also remove the IMAP folders to prevent problems! This is because the Envelope Index in on each computer, and when the procedure creates new xxxx.emlx names in each Messages folder, in each mailbox it may lose sync with the messages on the server. They are only on the Mac to reindex, if you have selected to Keep all messages for Offline viewing. See:

Having said that, any connectivity issue could impact what you are experiencing.
I am not having problems with connecting to IMAP accounts, btw.

why did my contacts not download to my new iphone via itunes ? everything else did. with my favorites only numbers transferred not names.

For the Contacts (I'm waiting my new 5s) I'm using the free App "MyContactsBakup" (or MCBakup), it works just fine on my iPhone 4.
It works for pics too I guess. It is reliable, it process and send a file attached to a mail with all your contacts (pics, etc.). You open the attachment from your iPhone and add all the contacts again.
Easy and effective, I'm happy with this.

ok, so my whole itunes is messed up. first of all when i try to download the new itunes (8.2 or something like that...) it won't let me. it says error and it say try downlaoding it manulay and i tried that and it won't let me do that either. help.... i have alot of issuses right now, i can't even locate my music.....

Below are some suggestions. But if you could be more specific about the error messages the community can better assist.
*Reboot computer and then download again from http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
*If you are downloading with a particular browser. Try downloading iTunes with another internet browser like
*Safari for Windows
*Firefox for Windows
*Opera for Windows
*If you are running the file vs Saving the file. Choose to save to desktop vs run. You may also wish to check your Firewall and other security software to ensure it is not restricting downloads and you have administrator rights.

Why is my ipod touch saying there is insufficient memory to take a picture or download a new app, even after I have deleted lots of pictures and apps?

My ipod touch memory doesn't seem to be working correctly. I tried to take a photo and it said there was insufficient memory. I deleted all my pictures but it still said the same. I cannot take pictures or download any apps or the latest systme update despite having now deleted several apps and all my photos.

Yes, you need Snow Leopard to use the latest version of iTunes - if you can run it:

HT5957 I can not download the new 7.0.2 update to my ipad. I have tried several times. It stalls out. I have tried restarting the ipad ... No success with that either.
