Picture on TV shows in iTunes

I don't have so much free space on my MacBook anymore. I've started to move the video files bought from iTunes Store over to my external hard drive, make a reference movies out of the original videos and move the reference movies to the iTunes folder on my MacBook. But it's been some problems when I've done this...
The original picture doesn't show down in the left corner when I mark the TV shows in iTunes. It just shows a picture of a frame in the TV show.
I've tried to press apple+i and delete the picture from there, but iTunes won't let me add or delete any pictures on the reference files I've created and imported to iTunes :-/
Does anybody know what I can do to add a picture to these reference files I've imported to iTunes?

I have had the same problem with my 3GS and Windows 7. The wrong cover art sync happens haphazardly and changes.

I tried hard reset on my iPhone. I tried restarting laptop and iPhone. I tried a different laptop. I tried removing driver and reinstalling from Device Manager but did not find a driver other than "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver" under "Universal Serial Bus controllers" which I heard shouldn't be uninstalled.
Anything I haven't tried?

Are you seeing your music listed in the iPod screen, or in Win explorer as in your earlier post?
I can see all the songs in my Edrive>al's Ipod> Ipod Control> Music folder.
A corrupted iPod database, will report zero music used, and have your music size reported as others, so you wont see the music in the iPod screen. Sorry, I thought there was some hope for you with iPodAccess, in recovery of the corrupted iPod database with your ratings.
You can try to borrow and use the Mac Disk Utility ->First Aid ->Repair.
Of course, if your iPod Hardisk is in a bad state, from the Disk Diagnostic report, then all my suggestion are futile.

I have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

That screen means it has gone into recovery mode. You need to connect to a computer running iTunes by following the instructions in http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 for the procedure of recovery mode connection.

Some of my pictures do not show up in the organizer

Some of my pictures do not show up in the organizer. The folders are all there but no thumbnails appear in the organizer. If I do a search for them they are shown but I cannot find them in the organizer.

This is a small...."Bug" I guess you could call it, in the ipods software where if you have songs by one artist and none of them have a album listed with them, they do not show up under "Artist".
I forgot the exact workaround, but I think its something like if you give one song by the artist a album name (By rightclicking it in iTUnes, hitting get info and selecting the info tab) all the rest of the songs will now appear under artist on the ipod

Playing shows on itunes with vista

We bought out little girl a cheap Acer laptop for playing games and listening to her music. The problem I have is that the t.v. shows that we get off of iTunes won't play right. When you play a show the sound most of the time plays fine but the picture keeps stopping. The iTunes on the Acer is set to play stuff we download from my wife's iMac and my MacBook Pro. The shows will play on both of our computers fine so I don't thing the files are corrupted. I've reinstalled iTunes on the Acer and it didn't make a difference. We even downloaded one straight to the Acer and it still does the same thing. The Acer is running Vista Basic. Any help to fix this problem would be appreciated. Thanks

To do wifi sync, you have to connect, wired, open iTunes and the main info panel for your iPad. THen enable wifi syncing. Sync wired, unplug and then you should be able to wifi sync.
Some tricks/glitches. Sometimes you'll need to wake up the iPad to get it to sync. I've also had to turn off the 'open iTunes when iPad is detected' after my iPad spent all night opening iTUnes every time it tried to 'reach out' and find my computer. it is also significantly slower to sync over wifi than wired, so bear that in mind.

In itunes, did you go to the photo tab for your device and turned on iphoto to perform a sync.

I was trying to do a restore on my iPod Touch to start fresh from some clutter I have already accumulated on it. It was going fine and then I got an error message that it couldn't complete the restore. I unplugged the USB and then plugged it back in and nothing. All I got when I turn it on is a picture of the Sync Cable pointing up to a picture of the iTunes symbol on the screen. I did a soft reset and no matter what I do that is all that shows. When I soft reset it shows the Apple logo like it should, and then immediately goes to that picture. When I plug it into the USB it makes the connection noise like all PC's do when you plug in a USB device but nothing. It doesn't show in iTunes, and doesn't show in My Computer. When you power it on, no slider appears, just the same picture. I have unhooked it and rebooted my computer. Also, the other iPods, Nano's I have all connect fine when I plug them in. I have the latest version 7.4.3.1 in iTunes. What am I missing?

HELP..purchased shows from iTunes & playback is bunch of tiny screens

When I go to playback tv shows I purchased from itunes, then sound comes through fine but the playback screen in the lower left is messed up...it looks like a bunch of smaller screens all playing the same thing (like a really messed up picture-in-picture) I have tried reinstalling itunes and quicktime, but no results. Anyone know how to fix? Thank you.

I think the layout in sync could be improved for movies perhaps putting Purchased Movies right after Rental Movies. When I am on that tab, Rental Movies (I have none and it tells me so) and then TV shows are visible on the screen with lots of blank space under. I had to scroll down to find the movie sync option (which may seem pretty obvious - but with all the white space after TV shows, I didn't notice that the scroll bar had room to scroll further). Yes, I feel a little stupid (and grateful to you for making the solution so obvious), but I do think the tab layout contributed to my ineptness.
