Picture turns into rainbow colored screen

I have a Storm 9550. When I take a picture, it captures it, shows up on the screen and when it finalizes it, it makes the picture totally unviewable. It is nothing but lines in rainbow colors. Anyone have any idea what this is all about or what I can do to get it to work again properly? Thank you.

Looks like hardware problem.
What do you see when you connect an external display to the SVGA port. This sould tell you if it is the display panel or the motherboard.

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...

The spinning wait cursor (or "beachball") generally means there's some problem that's causing the current app to freeze, or slowing down the current application, or that's slowing down the whole system.
Here's an overview of the spinning wait cursor.
Make a backup first, using the Disk Utility tool booted from your installation DVD to external storage. This backup to ensure you still have access to your most current and complete data, shut this be a problem with your hardware.
Then use Utilities > Activity Monitor.app and the Utilities > Console.app tools to see what's going on, and whether there are related errors being logged.
There are some general troubleshooting articles around, too.

Thanks for the straightforwardness roaminggnome - I wasn't sure if this problem qualified as deseving a reset. Unfortunately, for some reason I can't explain, your response remained undisclosed to me for a while, the next reply after yours took preference and I ended up doing as Meg St.Clair's susgested and initiated download, installation and syncing of Smartsync which is now taking ages to finish... If problem persists shall do the resetting and restoring.

I was updating my ipod and it was almost complete, it restarted and the loading bar under the logo stopped. See if placing the iPod in DFU mode will allow a restore.

If not successful that indicates a hardware problem. It could be that the damage started with the drop that also caused the cracked screen and the damage progress to the problem you have now. An example would a cracked that has finally progressed to it causing the problem.

If you don't have the the original disk, then there is nothing you can do. Flashing Question mark means that the bootloader cant find an OS. The HD could just be scrambled or it might be fried. Just wait it out until you take it to Apple as they will be your best bet to help you.

Very large webpages turn into a black screen halfway down

When reading a very large web document, it will suddenly turn black when scrolling down.
If the page style is set to 'basic style', it shows this problem.
If the page style is set to 'no style', the problem does not show.

Forwarded pictures turn into little squares with flashing question mark

Occasionally someone forwards me some email with supposed picture attachments but the pictures don't forward and are represented by little squares with flashing question marks.
Any idea what causes this?
(I use Mac mail and Safari).

There are a few things that cause this, I've found.
Sometimes it's because the email includes images in a format that Mail doesn't like, but it can also be because the attached graphics had their names changed (or were deleted completely) by an outgoing- or incoming-mail virus scanner, or because the graphics weren't really included in the email, but were really just HTML links to images stored on a web site somewhere, and the site has gone down or moved the images.
You can usually tell which has happened by looking at the message's attachments. If there aren't any attachments, then either they've been deleted or stripped from the message, or the message points to dead Internet links.
If there are attached files, you can look at them to see if they have names that look funny (e.g., many virus programs add the word "DEFANGED" to file names), and might have been changed. Also see if they come up with the right icon (Picture icon saying JPEG, GIF, BMP, or PNG, usually). If they're just plain white generic file icons, then they might be something that your computer can't read.

IPhone pictures turned into 'unknown data'

First of all, i suck at backups..
Since i updated my iphone 4 to iOS 5, i havent been able to acces my photo folder, about 5,2 gigs ~ 1700 pictures of of kids births and growing up etc..
Anyway to get the photos back ? useing a iPhone 4s now, so the '4' with the photos on it, is not being used, i cant go back to before os 5 ? and i'v tryed to regen my 4s from the 4's backup, but it has the same problem

Hopefully, Verizon will make good, after driving 50 miles one way to an Apple store, they wanted $149 and told me to wait three hours... can't believe after this product changed my entire environment to Mac's, Mac Book Pro's and even Time Capsule... Apple's customer service fell down when they are actually needed, and their product caused it... before the upgrade I had a fully functional phone. Real Disapointing. If Verizon can't help.... Hello Galaxy III... most ironic part is there were several people as frustrated as I in the store at the same time with similar issues.... maybe they should have tested this more?
Wish Time Capsule would let your restore an older version of iTUNES and then undo all of this...

Try pulling down the spill level and reducing the spill tint. You're probably going to have to tweak the color selection manually.

Screen turns bright yellow & green curser turns into a large yellow square.

When I play any type of 3d game, such as world of warcraft my screen turns bright yellow and green. The mouse cursor turns into a large yellow square. Then it will make squiggly patterns across the screen in these colors, Almost like a argyle pattern. The only way to fix this is force quit the program (or if I can see the game still) I have to make it non-full screen. Iam thinking it might be a video card error, but iam not sure. Anyone experience this before?

Are you running your monitor at its native resolution? If changing the resolution of the game solves the problem as I take it from your sentence quoted here:
"The only way to fix this is force quit the program (or if I can see the game still) I have to make it non-full screen"
Then you probably should try changing the resolution of the screen before playing the game. Most games will do this automatically but if the ones you are playing do not then you may need to search for updates to them. Very few games are designed to run in wide screen mode, but generally in more traditional resolutions such as 640 x 480 or some other resolution with the same relationship between width and height.
This is my best guess anyway. Hope you get the problem solved.
