Pictures dont show up anymore
When i connect my ipod to the Usb port it says
"the file or directory\iPod\_Control\artwork\ArtworkDBis corrupt and unreadable.Please run Chkdsk utiltiy"
does anyone know how to fix it?or what wrong with it. the only pictures on my nano are the ones that came with the music i bought with itunes.If someone can help i will appreciate it

okay, so i havent uploaded any pictures from my camera since like january, but iphoto has always worked for me. today, i tried to upload pictures the same way i always did, and the computer still recognizes my camera, but iphoto says that there are no photos on my camera. its not a problem with connection or anything, because the computer does recognize my camera, but its as if there are no pictures on my camera. anybody know how i could possibly solve this problem?

Welcome to the Apple user to user assistance forums
1 - do you have photos on your camera and do they view on the camera?
2 - does your camera mount to the desktop and if it does can you find the photos using the finder?
3 - have you tried using image capture (in your applications folder) to load the photos
4 - once you have downloaded the photos I suggest reformatting your media card using you camera's format command - in fact it is a good idea to never have iPhoto delete the photos but to always format the card after importing and testing the photos

If you have more than one iChat account, like a mac and an AIM screen name, each of them only displays the buddies and their details that you have added whilst logged in with that account. You can check quickly if your other account displays the list as you were expecting by selecting the iChat drop down menu>accounts and check if you have more than one.

When you connect your iPhone to your computer, an iPhone icon should appear in iTunes in the left column under Devices. But if it doesn't, this troubleshooting assistant can help.

Why it dont show the Pictures in the window?
I am unable to find out, why the Pictures arent shown...
The Pictures are in the correct folder.

How can I get the picture to show in Photoshop CS3? The thumbnail image appears in the right side panel but the full image isn't showing at all.
What specific information would you need? The program was working just fine early yesterday morning and than when I came back in the afternoon to edit some more pictures that is when I wasn't able to see the full image anymore. It is providing me with all of the editing options as if the picture is there but it is just a blank screen with the thumbnail pic showing in the right panel.

This is the wrong forum to post on, this is a forum for folks that have Intel based iMacs. According to your profile it indicated you are using an iPod Nano and use Windows Vista. I'd recommend either reposting in the iPod or iTunes for MS Windows forums. -
Photos dont show up on windows
I backed up some photos to my iphone 3g. These pictures were some i took with a digital camera. I restored my operating system and now i want to put the photos back onto my computer but they dont show up anywhere. Any photos i took with my phone show up. When i plug my phone into my computer it tries to import my photos but doesnt find anything new but i know there are photos on the phone that are not on the computer. I tried looking in the iphone files through my computer and found only the photos taken with my phone.
Any ideas how to get the photos back onto my computer?The iphone is NOT a backup device.
It optimizes photos for viewing on iphone - reducing size and quality.
The photo sync is also only ONE WAY - computer to iphone.
You could e-mail them to yourself, but they will not be of the original quality.

It does not help, because it only shows the photos on the camera roll and do not show the photos synchronized with that pc that i dont have access anymore.
The photos/albums all appear on the ipad, i can see it without problems but i cant get them out of the ipad to save onto pc for backup.
And i reaaly need it, as it is the only place that i actually have these photos now... -
Hi, I recently downloaded photoshop elements for dummies from ibooks to use on my ipad, the book refers to pictures throughout however what are supposed to be pics and diagrams only show up as a ?. Im unsure why and dont know how to get the pictures to show. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

*Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
*Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
*Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
*Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
*Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
*If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Iphoto is not showing faces anymore.
Hello everyone.
For some reason, my Iphoto is not showing faces anymore. All faces I've cataloged are still there, but it shows only the names. And there are many more others to identify, but It's impossible, because the menu shows only black thumbnails.
All the other features of the app are working fine and all my pictures are shown on the other menus, like "events" or "albuns" for example.
What can I do to solve this problem?
I have already updated to Iphoto 11, my OS is Mountain Lion (last update 10.8.2).

1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.

Certain artist pictures not showing up on iPhone

We all know that iOS 7 has artist pictures in the Music app that are default chosen by iTunes. For most of my artists, this new feature works perfectly fine, except for the artists that do not have a picture chosen by iTunes, and I'm ok with that. The thing that's irritating me beyond comprehension is the artists that i KNOW have a picture chosen by iTunes that refuses to show up on my iPhone 4. I'm 100% sure on the spelling and spacing and everything, but for about five artists on my iPhone, the picture will not come up.
Example:
(screenshot taken from the iTunes store). As you can see, this band has a picture. But on my iPhone, it won't show up--it just shows the album artwork of one of their albums. I have no idea if it has something to do with the unpopularity of the band or something, but I have deleted it off iTunes, synced my iPhone, added the songs back, synced my iPhone again and it still won't show up. So resyncing does not work. It's as if its encoded into the device or something bizarre like that.
I've tried the solutions posted onto this discussion: iOS 7 music app does not display artist pictures and has incorrect album art after master reset. but it only worked for my brand new song additions, which had not yet loaded the artist pictures. The songs by Fujifabric (band in the screenshot I inserted) I have had for over a year and the artist picture still has not come up.
It's a petty problem but as a mild perfectionist it's really a pain in the *ss. Thank you for any help.Last night I downloaded 5 years worth of pictures from my iPhone to my iPhoto on my Mac book, I needed the space on my phone so I deleted all the photos when the pop up asked if I wanted to delete or keep. Before I did this I downloaded and installed the iPhoto app for iPhone and it seemed the pictures were showing up in the app.

After I deleted and from the photo library on the phone and unplugged from Mac Book it seemed an update was happening and pics were loading to the app. This morning I checked and NOTHING is showing up in the iPhoto app besides photo stream and one shared folder.
What is it you expected to happen? iPhoto on your iPhone will show you all photos stored on your iPhone, but it does not show you the photos in iPhoto on your Mac. When you deleted the photos from your Camera Roll and the Photos.app on your iPhone, you deleted them also from iPhoto on the iPhone. The iPhoto app does not store photos , it just organized the photos that are stored elsewhere on the iPhone and shows them in one place.
If you want the photos back on your iPhone, create albums in iPhoto on your mac and then sync these albums to your iPhone using iTunes. -
I am using the iphone 4s in india now. i bought it from canada (factory unlocked). But here in india. when i put my vodafone sim in 4s. It only shows th name of the carrier but dont show the range towers. i tried airtel and reliance carriers also.but the result was same. now what can i do??
