Pictures folder does not have all events in it.

I import my photos using iPhoto 11 as I use Aperture 3 and/or LR4 to edit events and/or photos. However I am unable to import newer events from the Pictures folder option that Aperture and LR4 gives one to import as all my newer events of the past 12 months do not show up in the Pictures folder. Could anyone please help me as I have been trying and reading in the forums for ways to achieve this and am unable to find a solution. I am totally frustrated!!!

Into which of these applications do you import your photos? Do you import into iPhoto and then edit in Aperture or Lightroom, or do you import into all of them?

Are you expecting, that the images that you imported into iPhoto will be stored in the "Pictures" folder, and you want to import them into Aperture as well, or do you want to edit the images that you now have in iPhoto with Aperture?
I think, you may have a misunderstanding how iPhoto and Aperture work. Both are database programs that manage the image files you import. You should not try to access the managed images using the Finder and the folders with the pictures - that is risky, because iPhoto or Aperture may lose track of the image files. If you want to use an external editor to edit the imported images, use iPhoto's or Aperture's interface to external editors.
To switch between Aperture and iPhoto is very easy. Both programs can open each other's photo libraries. To edit the events that you imported into iPhoto with Aperture, simply open the iPhoto library with Aperture.
In iPhoto use the command "File > Open Library in Aperture"; to switch back to iPhoto use Aperture's command "File > Open Library in iPhoto".

Can't Open Final Cut - "Waveform Cache Files Folder does not have read/....

I am new to Final Cut and macs, so please bear with me.
I have created an animation in Final Cut pro (5) using stills. The project takes up a lot of space, which is why I have moved the 'Final Cut Documents' file onto my external hard drive. However, I relocated/reconnected the project files when I next opened the project and all was peachy.
Last night when I had the project open I got errors about not being able to save the project. This was my first problem, but is now insignificant compared to this new problem this morning:
I cannot open Final Cut. I have an error saying 'The Waveform Cache Files Folder does not have read/write access. Please select a new folder in the System Settings Dialog or correct the problem on disk'. Final Cut then proceeds to shut down, so I cannot change any user settings within the program.
I have made all Final Cut folders read/write as well as my external hard drive and anything else with Final Cut on it. It still presents this warning.
A final confession: last night in (I think?) User Preferences I changed some of the settings to my external hard drive (I'm not even sure what settings...I just checked boxes next to the Hard Drive and unchecked a box next to the laptop drive), hoping it would just save the project to it, rather than on my laptop. This may have contributed to this new problem...maybe not.
PLEASE HELP...this animation is due Monday.

Thanks for your reply - it sounds like it will work, but I can't delete one of (yes, I made multiple copies, but have been able to delete the others) the Waveform Cache Folders as it comes up with the error "The operation cannot be completed because one or more required items cannot be found. (Error code -43)." Is this the cause of my problems? How do I fix it?

You have to sync it off of the device using iTunes. That is likely how it got there in the first place.

My iTunes browser does not have all of the options available to me

I joined iTunes in March, and ever since, I cannot search, and I do not have all of the options available to me. I need to sync my downloaded ringtones, and I do not have anything on the sidebar, like in the tutorial. Can someone please help?

Trying to find a record that does not have an event created for it

A little background on how it works....
We create a record, and everytime it is created, a number of "events" within that record are automatically created. The specific event I am trying to run a report on is "REC". I can run a report and get the information entered into the REC event no problem, but my problem is that if someone deletes the "REC" event it does not show up in my report.
So my question is, what is the best way to write a function that displays all records that have the "REC" event, and all records that the "REC" event is missing.
I'm using the generic funtion {EVENT.EventCode} = "REC" right now....any suggestions?

Okay, I left off a lot of important information...
I'm using two tables
TWDATA
EVENT
From TWDATA I'm pulling the fields TWDATA.OrderNumber and TWDATA.DisbursementDate
From EVENT I'm pulling the fields EVENT.EventCode and EVENT.CompletedDate
The two tables are linked by OrderNumber.

Calendar list does not display all events of the day

Using calendar on iphone 3GS, I've found that if I select the 'list' option then not all the events in my calendar display. It's a pain to have to keep reverting to 'day' option to double check that I'm not missing any events. Does anyone else have this problem? Is it a bug or is there something I can do to correct it?

I have exactly the same problem, I expirienced it today the first time, but I actually do not use the list view often. In the list view, I'm missing quite a lot of events, I first thought it went something wrong with exchange sync and tried around about an hour till I found out, that all events are basically on the phone and also shown in day and month view, but not in the list view.

Relink does not work; all events staying red and files disappear!

A very bad bad story...
after continuis spinning ball (i hate this thing what so often comes to please me) I used "forced stop" fcpx. (i could not else)
after restart fcpx all the events are in red.
after restart mbp + fcpx: all events are red again... that looks bad to me...
i tried more than ones the relinck function:
no result at all. I saw actions being done, the harddisk drive was working but no relinked files in the events. (i tried one by one, there are 9)
An other attempt with relinck: a small event (about 9 files) and not important for me seems to be going well, the red clips disappear in the event window but .. all clips disappeard to!; a totally empty event window... I looked with finder into the map and believe it or not: all the files were gone! I could not believe this thinking i made a fault. Thus:
I repeated this action with another map (and copied the files in it first) and the same happens: totally empty.
I tried to re-import from camera/archief: no result.
The last thing to do was:
to open a new event and "imported from file": the clips came into the event window but .... red...
So, in my opnion there is something very very wrong...
What can i do more to restore the connection because the most events have a content according to the finder.
BTW, i know there is a lot of discussion about this matter and may be with the solution but i can 't find it... (even with the searchfunction)

That's not stupid, I happened to me too yesterday.
How are you supposed to know that the files fcpx is pointing out are originals or Proxies. You have to go check in the Prefs.
Wishlist: Since choosing to read fullres or proxy media is an application wide feature, it should appear clearly somewhere (in the Timeline bar, the Library, or the Inspector) as a reminder.
A couple of time I have wondered which files fcpx was reading. The only way to know is the cmd-F (Locate in Finder) command. The Inspector doesn't give any answer to that.

SQL Query does not have all rows in ResultSet

I am using JDK 1.4.2 and an MS Access 2000 database where I attempt to retrieve data and I get in the ResultSet a maximum of around 280 rows, but there are more that seem to be ignored. In Access I can see them using the same query.
The Statement.getMaxRows() returns 0 and I do not understand why I do not get the other ones. The query is issued using Statement.executeQuery(String), but using execute() does not make a difference, There is just one ResultSet returned.
I would appreciate your help.

I had this same problem once because in my Java code I was connecting to our alpha database and when I was running the query manually I was connecting to our production database.
The only other thing I can think of that might cause this is if on the 281st row there is something wrong with the row and maybe the SQLException isn't being processed? Can't really say without seeing your code, but if you don't have a printStackTrace() or some indicator when a SQLExcpetion is thrown it could be breaking without your knowing. If those aren't the problems maybe you could post your code.

PS cc 2014 folder does not have the photoshop.exe file

Updated CC photoshop yesterday and the folder
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014"
does not contain the Photoshop.exe for the new update.
After doing a drive search for photoshop.exe files, the only app file that is found on any drive is the photoshop.exe contained in my photoshop CS6 folder.
Any suggestions?

I had to get a new computer and when I plug in my iPhones it does not have all the apps I bought. I get the error: are you sure you want to sync apps? All existing apps and their data on the iPhone will be replaced with apps from this iTunes library.

How do I get an old library onto a new computer. When I plug in phone all my apps do not show up.

You need to copy the iTunes liubrary from your Old computer, or its Backup, to your New computer...

Photostream does not have all images

Hi,
I have several iOS devices and a MacBook Air. All of them show the same last 1,000 images in the photostream.
My Windows 7 PC however shows only 160 of them. The latest images are missing.
I use iCloud Control 3.1 and Windows 7 Professional 64bit

Additional information:
If I DO NOT sync iPhoto albums to my iPhone via Mac, the 'Recently Added' album on iPhone acts as I would expect.
As soon as I add albums to the sync process, 'Recently Added' and 'Collections' stops showing most of my more recent photos. They do, however, appear to sync to Photostream.
EDIT:
It's related to the keep / remove dialog box in iPhoto.
Previously, if you imported pictures and then cleared out the camera roll after import, the pictures would still sync back via Photostream.
Now, after the 8.x upgrade, if you import pictures and then remove them, they are not only pulled from 'Recently Added', they are also pulled from the Photostream section and do NOT appear to sync back.

My ipod classic ran out of battery, when I turned it back on all my songs were gone. How can I recover them on a windows vista computer? Also, the itunes on my vista does not have all my original songs. Please help

first computer, which I no longer have because it was stolen. However, on my Itunes it says my Ipod
has 14.27 GB used and 13.55 FREE. So I just want to know how to get my music back on to my Ipod

Search for mail in Outlook 2013 does not have all emails in result.

Hi, we have a user that tries to search for a sertain mail in her mailbox, and when she searches, a few mail comes up, but the one she knows is there, and that fits the search pattern, is not listed in the results.
We have tried to reindex the database the user was on, we have moved her to another database, and none of these have given us the result we want.
We have also removed the checkmark in "Search" in Outlook for "Improve search speed by limiting the number of results shown".
If she does the same search in OWA or Outlook 2010, the result is as expected, but in Outlook 2013, it is not.
Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what could be done to solve it?
Google(Bing) produces very little results that are relevant to this for me.
Hope someone here has an answer :)

Calendar does not sync ALL events

Using Outlook 2007.
Some events do not sync to the iPhone. I cannot see the difference between those that do sync and those that don't.
Has anyone else seen this? Any fix?
