Pictures from my mac to my Iphone

im trying to get my pictures from my mac to my Iphone. I went to itunes, and I cant find the photos tab. What am I doing wrong?

You have to connect and select iPhone in iTunes sidebar to see the Photos tab.
Photos are saved in Mac's iPhoto.

Connect to two devices with the supplied lightning/USB cable and ITunes will launch on your Mac .
In the left hand pane your iPhone name will show up under devices.
Click on this to open the IPhone control panel in the main iTunes browser window.
At the top you will see a series of radio buttons
Summary Info Apps Music Movies TV Shows Books Photos
Put tick on sync photos with iPhoto (Default you can also choose Aperture if you buy this)
In the panel below you can choose to sync All libraries or Selected events- this opens an inspector panel displaying the folders as they appear in iPhoto (Aperture) with tick boxes to select differing collections/images
Now click the apply button in the bottom right corner and your choosen images sync with to your iPhone.

  • I would like to transefer some pictures from the Mac to the Iphone. How do i do this without losing all the pictures on the iphone through Synching?

The options in itunes seem quite limited. For instance, I have culled the pictures on the iphone down to a nice 250 or so pics i dont want to lose. But when I try to add another selected folder through itunes it wants to erase all the pictures on the iphone I have. I could create a folder out of all the pic i have on it now and then select that as well when Synching but that means any new pictures i like in the future won't be saved either if i wish to add more from the compuiter through synching.
How do i add a folder of pictures from itunes without affecting the pictures on the camera roll.  This doesnt seem to be an issue when adding music manually to an ipod for instance. Wheres the openness of the system to hand-pick and create your own scenario?
    Thanks for the help...
    Pic-ed off.

    Are they in iPhoto?
    Some possibilities:
    iPhoto Sharing:
IEnable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and move to the other machine. There, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running on both machines for this to work.
    Use iPhoto Library Manager
Export from one Library and copy to the other mchine and import there

  • How do I transfer pictures from my Mac to my Iphone

Easy enough to transfer picture on my iphone to my Mac, but how I put them back onto it if I've accidentally deleted them?

I was only wanting to transfer one picture. But instead it transferred the whole folder
Then follow the instruction on the page I linked to.
then I had no way on the phone of getting rid of all but the picture I wanted. There must be a simpler way, surely.
So then I tried to undo the folder transfer and it just refused to let me.
You delete them using iTunes as noted in the instructions I linked to.
So then I tried to undo the folder transfer and it just refused to let me.
    Deselect the folder then sync.
There must be a simpler way, surely.
If it’s only 1 photo, you cold email it to yrouself.
However, this dumps it to the Camera Roll.
Create a folder (or an album in your photo application) on the computer of the photos you want on the iPhone then sync only that folder.
Add/remove photos from that folder/album and sync to add/remove photos from the iPhone.

  • Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files?

Is there any way I can view / remove pictures from Camera Roll on the iPhone, on a Mac, without actually importing the files? I just want to view / delete files without importing them.
For instance I have 1200 photos on my iPhone Camera Roll. Some of these are shots, that I've taken multiple times, some good, some bad. I just want to clean up my Camera Roll, but going through the pictures on the iPhone's small screen is tedious. I'd much rather look at the camera roll's photo's on my Mac, and then decide which files I'd like to keep, and which to delete.
I don't want to import the files, as when I import the files, and delete them from Camera Roll, now the Photo's are not on my phone, and the only way to get them back on my Phone is to Import them back in using iTunes, and then they go into the Picture Library and not the Camera Roll.
In the same way as I can view Pics from my digital camera's SD card on a Mac without having to actually copy them to my computer, is there any app out there that will let me view my iPhone pics without importing them.

    The short answer is yes.
Connect your iPhone to your computer.
    Open Image Capture application.
Click on the 4 little squares at bottom to view them as photos, not a list.
Select the photos them click the No Entry icon at bottom to delete.

How do I move pictures from iMessage to Photos on iPhone 5s

What is your MacOS X version and iPhoto Version?
If your Mac OS X and IOS ob your iPhone supports Photo Stream, add the the photos to the Photo Stream and import them to your camera roll.
Or send an email to yourself, then you can open the photos on your iPhone,
Or create an album in your iPhoto Library and add the photos that you want to upload and use iTunes to sync the album to your iPhone.

  • How do I copy my songs from my mac to my iphone

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 8.0.2 and a PowerBook Pro running Mavericks. I have my music Library (files) stored on my MacBook. I would like to copy my music files from my MacBook to my iPhone. I've tried iTunes 11 sync and that does not move the files to my iPhone. I've tried going into the Settings on my iPhone and turning auto download of iTunes music purchases and that does nothing. I'm sure there is an easy way to copy my Music files from my Mac to my iPhone but I can't figure it out. Can someone tell me how ?
    Thanks,
    Dave

    Connect the device to iTunes
Select it in the left-hand column
    Select the Music tab
    Choose content to sync

  • How can I transfer pictures from my PC to my iPhone 6 plus?

There are some times I need some pictures from my PC onto my iPhone 6 plus. How can I do that without syncing or anything like that? I know dropbox, etc., will do it but I would like to avoid opening a lot of pictures and saving each one to the photo library.

I have discover myself that it is quite easy to transfer pictures from iphone to computer with the usb cable that comes with the phone. There are apps and one that works to do this using my wifi but this gets a bit iffy when pictures start to climb above 12,000 or so.  I did something I read a combination of articles on Apple and Microsoft to do. Turn iPhone on and plug into usb of computer.  The first thing that happen sis a question asking if you trust this computer and you must answer yes. Next you will see Windows install the drivers for the phone on first use. This usually goes smoothly but if it doesn't, before trying to get them manually through Windows Update or device manager, unplug and try plugging the iPhone in once again. You may even have to unplug other devices plugged into a usb plug.  Give it a few tries if necessary and it will almost always install the drivers properly. If not, there is a  lot of information here at Apple about what steps to take next,  Then the Windows dialog box asking what you want to do with the photos on the device opens up and you have choices. Select the import pictures using Windows and they will al be imported easily and you get a chance to tag them and more at this point.  It really has become no different than  connecting any other usb device and works automatically almost  My next question is how do I seek and find where all my other files are hidden such as text messages so I could selectively restore some or even some other files that are stuck with the app that created them due to a lack of real options about using the files after creating them.

  • How do I upload one picture from my PC to my iPhone to use with a contact?  Totally frustrated

I have been trying for days to upload just one picture from my PC to my iPhone.  I have tried both iCloud and iTunes.  Neither of them have screens that match instructions in the iPhone manual.  I don't want to synch anything.  Just upload one picture.

If the contacts are in iCloud, log into www.icloud.com, edit the contact and add the photo.  It will sync to the device.
If the contacts are in another cloud service, log into that service and do the same thing.
If the contacts only exists on the device.  STOP!  Sync them to iCloud, another cloud service, or a supported app on your computer immediately or risk losing them should the device fail or be lost/stolen.

How do I download pictures from my PC to my iphone?

First you have to create a ringtone from a song and move it into your iTunes library (if you haven't already).  This video will show you how: Create free ringtones with iTunes 10.  Then go to the Tones tab of your iTunes sync settings, check Sync Tones and sync your phone.  (The Tones tab won't appear until you have at least one ringtone in your iTunes library.)
