Pictures in a table

Hi,
I need to show a table, which has a picture (JPEG for example) in every entry, and to be able to choose one of the entries, so the activating program will know which entry has been chosen.
what is the best way to implement it?

You should override the TableCellRenderer and insert Labels where you want to have Icons. Now you should say in the renderer which icon should be displayed.

e.g. : For first time i entered 2 scrap.
Seconf time i entered 1 scrap.
But in table it shows 5 scrap.

How to select a picture in a table live view DW 2014.1

can anyone explain to me how I can select a picture inside a table element so I can apply css to it?
I've already tried applying css by class and ID unsuccessfully.
I can select every other element inside the table except the picture. Why would that be?

I have corrected the mistake. Again it was a rookie mistake where my class was inserted after the tag instead of inside the <td>tag. But while we are at it. I been looking and looking for a way to edit my question, I can't find a link on the site to direct me to the questions I ask. would you know if there is such a link and if so where can I find it? that way I will be able to respond to my own questions (when I do rookie mistakes and find them and don't clutter the board for nothing)

I have the new version of Numbers and Pages 10.
Does anyone know how I can put pictures in a table, it always changes my picture into a background...That is annoying!
It worked perfectly with Numbers / Pages 09...
I really hope anyone knows how to do it, I have to prepare a list till tomorrow and it drives me mad!

There is no such thing as Numbers or Pages 10. The newest versions are Numbers 3.0.1 & Pages 5.0.1. The suite is sometimes referred to iWork '13, even by Apple, as that when it was released.
Pictures in tables is just one of the 90+ features that didn't make it into the "new & improved, rewritten from the ground up” Pages 5 & Numbers 3. Leave feedback for the Pages team using the link in the Pages menu and review & rate the new versions in the Mac App Store. Do the same for Numbers.
If you previously had iWork '09, those apps are still in your Applications folder in a folder named iWork '09. You can continue to use them to get things done.

How can I put pictures inside the table in Pages for IPad? I can do that in Pages in my macbook, but I can't in IPad.

It would appear that unless you are working from a document that already had section breaks (or the equivilent) ,you can't. I have some files in pages that began as MS Word documents with multiple sections that allow that by tapping on the footer (or header) and making the change. Files created in Pages (or from other sources but without section beaks) do not.

Can anybosy tell me the syntax of inserting a picture in a table and because at someplace i was reading that we can do it if data type is BLOB (i am not sure). Can anybody tell me detail and step by step way to insert and then query that picture.

What you need to look into Oracle Intermedia. The documentation explains how to add the image data to the database and also how to retrieve it once there.

Look into BLOB datatypes. They allow the storage of large binary objects (like pics). If you have the 8i Web Dev book there is a great example of dealing with images stored in a table.

Place the links(Pictures and Excel table) to Indesign

Dear All,
We need place some Microsoft Word files into Indesign. and in the word files, contain some link for pictures, Microsoft excel tables. and we need use the C++ to build a InDesign add-in to do the following things( Indesign CS5, Windows 7, VS2008):
Place the word files into InDesign
Find and automatically insert the pictures link files into Indesign
Find and automatically insert the Microsoft Excel table into Indesign.
My Questions are:
Does Indesign CS5 SDK provide those APIs?
Can we build a standalone application to do those jobs?
if C++ can't do this, what kinds of Development tools can do those jobs.

Hi Pudgesan,
You can paste data from an Excel spreadsheet into an InDesign or document. The Clipboard Handling preference settings determine how text pasted from another application is formatted.
If Text Only is selected, the information appears as unformatted tabbed text, which you can then convert to a table.
If All Information is selected, the pasted text appears in a formatted table.
If you want more control over formatting the imported table, or if you want to maintain spreadsheet formatting, use the Place command to import the table. If you want to maintain a link to the spreadsheet, select the Create Links When Placing Text And Spreadsheet Files option in File Handling preference settings.

Same picture on every table of contents page.

I noticed when adding a picture to the table of contents 10th chapter that it applies to the first nine also. How can I stop this from happening.

From memory, you can paste with cmd-shift-V.

I think very well we can save pictures in tables,as SAP has a standard table for the same called STXBITMAPS.May be we can create a ztable of the same structure.

I cann't do anything because there is no reaction. Only the task manager can break up the RunForm.
I've read the OH and there is a table and the image_item is based on the long raw column.
I've changed the table because there was a not null column but now i get this error message:FRM-40400 One dataset was been transfered and saved, but this error comes again and again and the Runform doesn't react.
The trigger is called WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE by the image_item is this correct?

How to move pictures in a table using ClipboardPut/GetTableVals

I'm trying to move a picture from one cell of a table to another using the clipboard but I'm not able to: while no error is found in copying the original image with ClipboardPutTableVals, ClipboardGetTableVals always states no picture is available in the clipboard (which is true since I cannot paste anything to Paint for example).
I'm working on a single cell: the help states that in this case the picture should be copied to the clipboard.
I am attaching a simple project that exhibits the problem: simply click anywhere in a row that has a picture and press Move, input the row where you want the picture to be copied and see the result.
Tested in CVI 2012SP1 and 2013SP1 on a Win7Pro SP1 box.
Proud to use LW/CVI from 3.1 on.

Indeed Julien solution works and I will use that one in my application. Nevertheless, I would like to have some clarification regarding your answer.
You said this bug was introduced in CVI2012, but I have made my tests on CVI2009 and I can't get it to work; I can only think that it depends on the run-time: on my system I have CVI2013 installed so that is the runtime I am working on and this could explain the problem. Unfortunately I don't have a system with RTE 2009 installed to test it on so I can't double check this fact.
Also, it appears it is not fixed in CVI2013: am I correct or there's something wrong in my code?

I have this question too. It is very important for me to insert pictures into tables in order to complete my lab reports. This feature needs to be added; the software is useless without it. It is things like this that make me regret Apple purchases.
