  • I blocked something for pictures on Facebook and now can't see anyones pictures when they download them, how do I get them back ?

I didn't want to see some postings, so I was told to block the pictures on the postings.....after I did that, we now cannot see anyones pictures when they download them on to facebook... it only affects us when on our desk computer not our ipod.

If images are missing then check that you aren't blocking images from some domains.
*Check the permissions for the domain in the current tab in "Tools > Page Info > Permissions"
*Check that images are enabled: Tools > Options > Content: [X] Load images automatically
*Check the exceptions in "Tools > Options > Content: Load Images > Exceptions" (search fbcdn.net)
You can use these steps to check if images are blocked:
    * Open the web page that has the images missing in a browser tab.
    * Click the website favicon ([[Site Identity Button]]) on the left end of the location bar.
    * Click the "More Information" button to open the "Page Info" window with the Security tab selected (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").
    * Go to the <i>Media</i> tab of the "Tools > Page Info" window.
    * Select the first image link and scroll down through the list with the Down arrow key.
    * If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "<i>Block Images from...</i>" then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

  • CENVAT postings and calculations.

We maintain the tax code with the help of which system calculates the taxes on items.
In tax code we maintain the condition types for calculation  of taxes. How can i check how much amount has been paid as BED for example and other taxes on purchase of various items in a specific period.
Also how G/L accounts are assigned to various taxes or condition types. What is the significance of account keys in calculation schema?
Also how does sytem calculates the CENVAT amount( from where does the system get all information about calculation of CENVAT) and post it to the system.
Also in PO whether we have to mention the tax code everytime ,and is there any direct relation of tax code > material, taxcode> vendor

    Hi Deepika
Here i am giving you snap shot of CIN in SAP first you understand following example
Suppose you have purchase raw material so for this whatever excise duty you have paid is recordinf Separately in the register named RG23A. Similarly in case of Capital its known as RG23C.
The only difference between them is that in case of RG23A full value of excise goes to regaister.Suppose on total value of PO 100rs you pay excise 16% i.e. 16 and education cess is 2% i.e. 0.32.
In this case RG23A will updated as follows at the time of MIGO
    Excise Entries
    RG23A BED 16.00
    RG23A Ecess 0.32
    Cenvate clearing account -16.32
    Stock Enteries
    Stock account 100
    Gr/IR account -100
In case of capital only 50% of duty goes to the register rest of Excise amount goes to hold.If we take above example then following transaction happens
    Excise entries
    RG23C BED 8.00
    RG23C Ecess 0.16
    Cenvate on hold 8.16
    Cenvat Clearing account -16.32
    Stock Entries
    Stock account 100
    Gr/IR account -100
After one year of this excise transaction on hold amount of capital goods can be transferred to registers according to excise law.For this transaction code is j2i8.
in PART1 entries also there is excise invoice details ?
Ans --> In excise invoise qty you are reciving are treated as part 1 entries at the time of capturing invoice part1 of respective excise register gets updated.
afetr posting excise invoice, what about invoice verification ?
At the time of invoice verification
following entries passes on if we take above example
    Vendor account - 116.32
    GR/IR account 100.00
    Cenvate clearing acc 16.32
I hope this would clarify doubts regarding entries
    Another regsiters used are
RG1 --> For Finished good means at the time of sending them out this registe updates
    Now next
<b>Also how G/L accounts are assigned to various taxes or condition types. What is the significance of account keys in calculation schema</b>
These are assigned according to Excise transaction Type for example for goods recipt we use GRPO so we assigne GL codes w.r.t. Excise Group Excise TT and Company Code at
IMG--> Logistic General --> Tax on Good Movement --> India --> account Determination --> Specify GL codes to excise Transaction Type
Then Excise Transaction type are determined according to Movement type which can check here
IMG--> Logistic General --> Tax on Good Movement --> India --> Business transaction >Incoming Excise Invoice> Specify which Movement type Involve Excise  Invoice
I hope now you can get clear picture of CENVAT postings and calculations

  • A31 2nd SATA-HDD inside Ultrabay

    Hi.
First to say i´m from germany. So please excuse my bad english. I´ll try my best...
Also i´m new to notebooks in general.
    My System
    Microsoft Windows XP Professional
OS Service Pack    Service Pack 3
    DirectX    4.09.00.0904 (DirectX 9.0c)
    Motherboard
    CPU Typ    Mobile Intel Pentium 4M, 1800 MHz (18 x 100)
    Motherboard Name    IBM 2652M3G
    Motherboard Chipset    Intel Brookdale i845MP
    RAM    512 MB  (DDR SDRAM)
    BIOS Typ    Phoenix (10/18/06)
    Storage
    IDE Controller    Intel(R) 82801CAM Ultra ATA-Speichercontroller-248A
    SCSI/RAID Controller    XMASSCSI SCSI Controller
HDD    Hitachi HTS723216L9A360  (149 GB, IDE)
    HDD    IC25N040ATCS04-0  (40 GB, 4200 RPM, Ultra-ATA/100)
Optical DEvice    AXV CD/DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device  (Virtual DVD-ROM)
Optical Device    AXV CD/DVD-ROM SCSI CdRom Device  (Virtual DVD-ROM)
    Optical Device    TEAC DW-28E  (8x/8x/24x CD-RW)
    S.M.A.R.T.-Status    OK
    Here´s my problem.
I bought a SATA-Ultrabay-Adaptor to use it for a second HDD in the Ultrabay-Slot.
I bought the red marked SATA (see above) and put it in the left Bay. Therefor the Floppy-Drive had to go. But the A31 didn´t start - "Operating System not found".
I swapped the CD-Drive with the SATA-HDD-Adaptor. Now the laptop starts the way he should, but performance on the SATA-HDD is very poor. Only UDMA2.
I updated the BIOS and the Embedded-Controller but the problem still exists.
    IDE Controller: Intel(R) 82801CAM Ultra ATA-Speichercontroller-248A
    1.
Why wont the laptop start when the HDD is in the left Bay-Slot?
    2.
Is there any chance of getting the HDD working with better performance? It could run in UDMA6-Mode.
    Regards,
    Norbert

    Hi, Nycto.
    Thanks for your reply.
Yes. It is a SATA Adapter.
This one on EBAY (Germany): SATA-HDD-Adapter
    The Hard-Drive is the Hitachi
    This one: SATA HardDrive
The Infos about my system came from "Everest Home Edition".
I too recognized that the SATA is identified as an IDE-HDD. But I thought that this is ok cuz the Adapter is SATA -> IDE.
    Jumper
The boot-HDD (PATA) is jumpered as master.
The SATA doesnt have any jumpers or pins where i maybe could put a jumper onto.
    Another SATA
I would have tested another SATA, if i would have had one in hands. But i haven´t.
    Broken Adapter
Thats what I thought first too. Thats why I bought a second one (see above) from another distributor.
But the problems remains the same.
    BIOS-Settings
Boot-HDD is the built in PATA.
I excluded all other shown Devices in the Boot-Menu with the "!".
Another strange thing I found out today.
In the Device Manager the Hitachi SATA is shown as Device 0 at the Secondary IDE-Channel.
But I also have "Tune Up Utilities" for doing some other kind of things.
There ( under System Information -> Drives" the Hitachi SATA is shown as Slave Drive on the Primary IDE-Channel.
Now what the heck is going on there?
Is it possible to attach some pictures to my postings?
I haven´t got a webspace where I can host some images.

  • Account postings in GR & IR for Subcontracting

    Hi Experts,
I need to know the account postings for both GR & IR during Sub contracting.
Let us take the scenario . .
    PO price - 1000(Gross) +  200(Tax) = 1200 (Net) for 1 Qty
GR - PO Net Price due to Moving Average price.
    IR - 1200(Gross) + 240 (Tax) = 1440
Please explain the accounting entries during Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt.
    By
    Prabhu

If Material has Price Control as "V" (MAP)
(BSX) Stock A/c of Assembly - Dr
(BSV) Change in Subcon Stock - Cr
    (FRL) Subcontracting Charges - Dr
    (WRX) GR/IR Clearing A/c - Cr
(BSX) Stock A/c of Components - Cr
    (GBB-VBO) Consumption A/c of Components - Dr
If Material has Price Control as "S" (Std. Price)
If Material is having Price Control as "S" then Price Difference A/c will also in picture.
This depends on configuration; SPRO > MM > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Goods Receipt > Price Differences for Subcontract Orders at Goods Receipt
Price Differences for Subcontract Orders at Goods Receipt
In this step, you configure for each valuation area whether price differences are generated for a Subcontract order at the time of a goods receipt if the manufactured material is managed at standard price and the standard price varies from the receipt value (externally performed service + value of components + delivery costs).
    Example
Finished product: $400 (value at standard price)
    Subcontract order:
    o Ext. service : $250
    o Components : $100
    Posting schema without price differences:
    Stock account FERT : 400 +
    Stock change : 400 -
    GR/IR clearing acct : 250 -
    External service acct : 250 +
    Compon. stock account : 100 -
    Consumption account : 100 +
    Posting schema with price differences:
    Stock account FERT : 400 +
    Stock change : 350 -
    Price difference : 50 -
    GR/IR clearing acct : 250 -
    External service acct : 250 +
    Compon. stock account : 100 -
    Consumption account : 100 +
    hope it help

  • Thermal compound replacement, RESULTS and PICTURES

YOU CAN HAVE A MACBOOK PRO THAT ISN'T SCORCHING HOT!!
(note that this will NOT fix any whine or moo; they are unrelated problems)
    Here's how.
My Mother's Macbook Pro (Or Cookbook, if you will) Arrived a week ago today. I played around with it to make sure everything is alright because my mother doesn't know how to check for things like dead pixels, bad ram, or cough improperly applied thermal compound.
One of the first things I noticed after turning on the new MBP is how totally sweet it is! The second thing I noticed is how freaking hot it is: I recoiled in pain from the Fn key bar the first time I touched it. Disappointed, I started searching the web and sure enough, pretty much everyone who owns one is complaining that it's too hot for comfortable use.
Apple calling this a "notebook" instead of a "laptop" is a total semantic cop-out. It's a PORTABLE COMPUTER and I must be able to trust it around my dogs, children, valuables without the MagSafe burning up or the battery swelling and bursting.
I don't have objective figures for just how hot it was, but it was right about at my pain threshold above and below the belt, and sometimes over it. I couldn't hold my hand to it for more than a few seconds. In particular the area to the left of the touchpad was of concern. I do have before-and-after figures of the CPU and HDD; I invite yourselves to look at them:
Before After (Temps in degrees C, ambient 25 C)
    50-60 26-35 CPU (idle)
    76-85 56-65 CPU (load)
    41 33 HDD
In particular the HDD figures are a great relief. HDDs are notoriously sensitive to temperature and even a few degrees C can cut their lifetimes significantly. Furthermore the area is now cool to the touch and I can once again rest my left palm on it without discomfort. The ranges are due to the fact that the sensor inside the core duo is flaky. In 5 seconds it can run anywhere from +-5 to +-10. Nevertheless it is accurate enough for our purposes. Below are photos, procedure, and a rough outline of test methodologies:
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641589
Here's the idle scenario before the procedure. The computer has been on for hours (days really) and I'm doing the work I normally do on it. TextEdit is open (to a little project I'm working on) with firefox and the temperature monitor. Alt-tab is to show that those are the only programs running. CPU temp is dead at 50 C. This is INSANE for an idle figure on ANY computer; desktop, laptop, "notebook" or otherwise.
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641590
The operation area and stress test. To stress the ATI chip I've jacked up the resolution, run a couple of quartz programs, SNES9x (a hardware emulator; the software shown is called "Energy Breaker") with a brutal multitasking OpenGL hardware renderer, and Google Earth. To get the CPU going I have Adobe's Lightroom processing thumbnails, and again SNES9x. For various I/O I have two shells executing yes > /dev/null, a USB mouse plugged in, and all the HDD access from lightroom. I figure it paints a pretty good picture of the "worst case scenario" of hardware stress for a laptop like this.
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641591
The CPU core(s) is at 76 C. I should note that at this point, as hot as the CPU is, overall the case is really not much hotter than it was before. In other words, it's just as unacceptable.
At this point I turned her off and dug in. I used a howto from Ifixit to serve as my guide. The procedure went without surprises until I got all the way to the logic board.
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641592
Dear lord!! That is an obscene amount of compound. It's casting a shadow over the rest of the board!! This gray gak is piled on so thick, it's no wonder the cooling system couldn't work effectively. It had even gotten all over components nowhere near the dies. That definitely cannot be good for their lifespan. Here's a shot of the heatpipe:
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641593
Terrible. Thermal compound has been squished out all over the place, including the chassis itself. This explains why it was getting so hot. A photo from the MBP service manual has been floating around the net, illustrating that this gross amount of compound is actually according to procedure.
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641594
Clean as a whistle. After removing the bulk of the compound with q-tips I used ArctiClean 2-step process to emulsify the rest and remove it with paper towels. You can see it's not perfect but it's close enough for me. I'm not overclocking this thing; I just want to run it "in spec" and have it not burn me. At this point, the CPU dies and the heat pipe interfaces should have mirror finishes. It's an overclocker's dream, and Apple already did the work for me.
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641595
This is how I applied Arctic Silver 5 to replace the compound I removed. Squeeze the tiniest little bit out of the syringe directly on to the die, and scrape it across with a flat edge (they recommend a razor blade but I just used a plastic ID card). Take the amount of compound you see on the Core Duo (on the right) and make a flat, even layer like the one you see on the ATI (left).
    http://www.pbase.com/silentplummet/image/62641596
Turned it on and went straight for the hard stress test, after making sure everything was OK of course =) Wow! It reads 58 C in the screenshot, and doesn't go above 65C!! Moreover, there isn't even a bit of warmth above the Fn keys, and the HDD area is cool to the touch. I'd call this one a complete success. I'm idling right now and the temperature reads between 26 and 31C. Even the bottom is just slightly warm to the touch. Now I have a real laptop again!
    So why did this happen?
There's a lot of confusion about the way the Macbook Pro cools itself. I admit it's confusing. Basically, Apple is shipping Macbook Pros with one cooling system, and replacing the thermal compound changes it into a very different system. Let me try to explain what I learned from digging around the hardware.
    1. The built-in thermometer in the CPU is flaky. That's why you have to access it with a kernel extension and all kinds of hacks, and why Apple circumvented it completely in the cooling system. That's right: the MBP cooling system ignores the Core Duo temperature entirely.
    2. The cooling system consists of a convective (my guess, I don't think anyone really knows what kind of) heatpipe which is in the base, directing heat out to two heatsinks which are then to be cooled by two fans if need be.
    3. There are two temperature sensors. One is on the heatpipe itself, and the other one is on the chassis just next to the right fan. Probably the hardware monitors these temperatures and the differential between them to decide when to activate the fans and how long.
    4. Behavior before the replacement procedure: The CPU core would get hot, hotter than I've ever seen a CPU go, at 80-85C. Most people confirm their MBPs also exhibit this. Where was this heat going? Well the fans didn't turn on until I put it at full load. Even when the fans did turn on, there wasn't much warm exhaust coming out of the vents at the back. The chassis heated up until it was unbearable, and most of the excess heat was being radiated away from it.
To sum up, the ineffective thermal interface between the CPU dies and the heat pipe was inhibiting heat from tripping the fan sensors. This explains why the fans didn't turn on until drastic temperatures were attained, and why the chassis got so hot. Essentially, the chassis was serving as a big heatsink for the CPU, which is the only reason it didn't overheat and shut down.
Effective, Apple, but not quite appropriate.
    5. Behavior after the replacement procedure: The first thing you notice is that the fans scream from the second you turn the thing on. They aren't going full blast but pretty close to it. An effective thermal interface using an APPROPRIATE AMOUNT of AS5 (anything would do but I figured if I'm applying thermal compound, why not go for the authority) allows the heat to go straight from the cores into the heatpipe, tripping the sensor early and fast. The fans come on, I can feel hot air coming out the back, and the chassis now removed from the thermal equation is cool and comfortable again.
Of course, the thermal equation is different from before, and from the way Apple has tuned the fans to work from the factory configuration. This is more cooling than we probably need, and I foresee an update to Tiger allowing us to choose the thermal/noise tradeoff for ourselves.
Well, I hope that explains it, and I hope that those of you still suffering the abuses of your "in spec" MBP can take some hope from my findings, or are emboldened to go ahead and repeat the procedure yourself. I will post informative links here.
    http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/85.1.0.html
    http://www.arcticsilver.com/
http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1864582 (This is where I learned of the thermal paste issue)
Remember if you ever open up your MBP to NOT BREAK ANYTHING and please, always read the instructions before you reach in. =)

methanol, my conclusion is that Apple's specifications for thermal grease application are technically sound. As a corollary, I put the postings claiming that isn't so in the Urban Myth category.
There's a lot of technical literature on design and manufacturing specifications for thermal grease use, the kind of literature that appears in professional technical publications and is written by engineers. That literature supports Apple's thermal grease specifications. Putting it another way, Apple's engineers have a lot more technical training and experience than the average hobbyist who is working from the directions that came with Arctic Silver.
Yes, my computer has the "messy" looking application of thermal grease. No, it isn't inappropriate and doesn't need to be modified, and Apple did not make a quality assurance/quality control mistake.
Posts about the thermal grease modification began appearing several months ago, followed by Hardware Monitor charts showing considerable differences in "before fix" and "after fix" temperatures. I found, however, that I could easily replicate those before and after charts, and my computer compared favorably with the "after fix" temperature charts. Why? There was no quality control on the generation of the charts. And of course some owners damaged their computers in the process of taking them apart and putting them back together. Not a good idea, in my opinion.
Painstaking manual application of thermal grease might result in an insignificant drop in CPU temperature, perhaps 2 or 3C. Trying that in a mass production situation would result in more CPU failures.
True, some people got very significant reductions of case temperatures. That will happen if the sensors are not working (broken connection) and the fans run full out.

  • Can't find camera to download pictures from iPhone onto PC

I have read all of the postings. The iPhone does not show up as a device on My Computer on either my IBM T-43p laptop or my HP pavilion desktop. I have finding and adding it through the camera and scanner service on the Control Panel. It is not listed and the machine does not find the device on a search.
The computer does not give me the 'new device detected' messge when I plug it in. I don't have Adobe Photoshop on my machine. I've tried using the HP ImageZone software and importing, but again, nothing is finding or recognizing my iPhone as a device containing pictures.
The phone is linked into my iTunes fine and syncs perfectly. I just can't get pictures off of it. Any suggsetions?

These guys are using a PC, they can't use iPhoto.
When you connect to your PC a window should pop up saying a camera was attached. If you click this it will bring up the photo importer, in that you can specify where you want the photos to be stored. I believe the default is to your my pictures folder (within my documents).
If your iphone is not showing up try to reset it and restart your computer. Don't have itunes open and listen for the sound windows makes when you connect a device, it should only take 5 seconds or less for the camera attached window to pop up. I know itunes normally takes longer than to show up.

  • Finance Postings with incorrect cost elements assigned

    Hello,
I am implementing the SAP Plant Maintenance Module (PM) at my Company and Iu2019m running into issues with the finance team regarding the finance (FI) postings during the material goods issue (GI) to the order (MIGO) and financial settlement (KO88) of all order costs.
When a material is issued to the order via MIGO a material document is created with two financial GL postings; credit the inventory account and debit the material expense account. The posting made to the parts expense account contains a reference to a profit center and the PM Order. However my FI Group is saying the posting to the parts expense account must be accompanied by a Cost Center. My understanding of this is that the PM Order itself is an interim cost collector which is why itu2019s referenced in the posting and not a cost center. Knowing that once the settlement run is executed for the PM Order the costs collected in the order will be settled to the appropriate cost elements. Once settlement occurs the FI postings are generated for the materials and the costs are moved to the cost center of the equipment/PM Order. The two material postings generated are; credit to the material expense account (offsets the G.I. posting above) and a debit to the expense account along with the cost center of the equipment. The debit posting to the expense account is the posting that carries the cost center assignment and the one which I believe my finance team is looking however as I said above they expect the cost center assignment in all postings to the parts expense account.
Can anyone tell me what the SAP Standard approach is for CO postings during a Goods Issue to a PM Order and the CO postings for materials during settlement? Is it possible to post to a cost center and PM Order at the same and for what business reason would this be done?
    Thank you,
    Mike

    Hi,
Spare parts or components are the company assets. So while issuing those components for consumption, asset account for materials would get value reduced & expense account for the material would get value added. Here no picture for Cost Center.
Only while doing the settlement, cost center will come into picture by getting the value from order to the Cost center.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • HT5500 how can i get "via iOS" in my postings and comments from my iPhone?

how can i get "via iOS" in my postings and comments on facebook from my iPhone?

I have the same issue.  NO "via ios" ONLY "via mobile"
    iPhone 4 - IOS 6.0.1
    iPad 3rd Generation IOS 6.0.1
FB App installed both devices from Settings//Facebook/Install App using IOS FB Integration with my username/password.
Troubleshooting Done to this point -
Uninstalled FB on iPhone and reinstalled again using the FB in Settings/Facebook/Install App. Entered my username/password in Settings/Facebook.
Turned Wi-Fi off and posted using Cellular connection  (says via mobile).
Turned Cellular off and posted connected to Wi-Fi  (says via mobile)
Set iPad 3 back to factory default.
Reinstalled everything fresh (did not use iCloud backup).
Installed FB app from Settings/Facebook/Install App. and entered username/password in Settings/Facebook.
Turned Wi-Fi off and posted using 4G cellular connection.  (says via mobile)
Turned 4G Cellular off and posted via Wi-Fi  (says via mobile)
ALL of my posts from both devices show as being "via mobile". This is extremely frustrating since everyone else in the world seems to post status/comments/pictures/etc from their iPhones and iPads and get the "via IOS" except me.
At first I thought maybe it was an iPhone 4 issue, but the iPad 3 is the newest version of iPad and even it says "posted via mobile" instead of "ios".

  • Pictures in Facebook are too large and content is cut off, is there a way to adjust.

While using my I pad 2 for Facebook the pictures of postings are huge and some of the content gets cut off. This doesn't happen on a laptop is there a way to adjust size of content so entire post can be seen.

    Don't use the app.
Unfortunately, the app has had the photos bug for months or more. I access facebook via safari and find it a much better experience.

  • IDVD bitrate compression and poor picture quality

    Folks,
I have been reading some of the postings and agree that blockiness is a problem with bigger movie files >70 min. So, if I do not like IDVD, what other DVD editing programs are out there than can incorporate imovie HD files?
    Regards,
    "picky about the picture"

    jzdcbland,
So, if I do not like IDVD, what other DVD editing programs are out there than can incorporate imovie HD files?
    "picky about the picture"
iDVD is a great program for what it is - basically producing 'home movie' DVDs.
If you are really "picky about the picture" , you can buy Apple's DVD Studio Pro - now part of Apple's Final Cut Studio for US $1299 - and work with the many compression options featured in Apple's Compressor application. Some people prefer the MPG-2 encoding done by BitVice ( BitVice at http://www.innobits.se/ for US $297 (US $149 for the Lite version)) to Apple's Compressor.
So the chances are good that for an expenditure of about US $1600 you can improve your results. I suppose if you can tolerate much simplier menus, you could buy Roxio's Toast Titanium 7 (about US $80) and use BitVice as the encoding program instead of the encoder in Toast.
It's easy to be 'picky' ... all it takes is money.
PS - I'm hoping that Apple will bring out a lite version of DVD SP for people who want more options - who knows what will happen if enough people request such an application.

  • Help! Pictures lost on my site

I hope you are able to help me out. Yesterday I was looking back to postings that I made in my blog during February. I was looking into my site from the internet. I discovered, that some blogs were showing a big cross, instead of the picture that I put there.
After seeing this, I checked my IWEB environment. And, also there I see a big cross instead of the picture I put. This is not nice at all. Does anybody know how this can be repaired?
    Thanx in advance.

First, try the troubleshooting steps on this page under "Fix iWeb"...
    http://www.iwebformusicians.com/WebMusic/iWebTips.html
Publish to a local folder and launch your site in your browser by double clicking the index.html file.
If everything is OK, republish your whole site to your server.
I wouldn't recommend the iWeb blog to my worst enemy. Switch to something like Blogger that actually works!

  • Cannot attach a picture in AOL or Craigslist but can in MS Word

When using AOL or Craigslist I cannot attach or insert any pictures to my mail or Craigslist postings. If I open MS Word I can insert pictures. It appears it an on line issue. I have done both many many times and now I can't. The pictures are under 25mb as AOL requires.

    Kennyz79,
SMS is just that, text only. MMS, which the iPhone does not support, is a stripped down version of email and supports images.
However, you have email on the iPhone, and can email to most carrier's phones who use MMS.
If you would like to see MMS, you could submit feedback at this link:

    Hope this helps,
    Nathan C.

  • Will i lose my contact , massage and pictures if i connect my iphone to another library  ?

my iphone is connected to a library , and am using another one , so the itunes library is asking me if i want to change the library !
am i going to lose every thing in my phone like contacts , pictures , massages or not ?

    Yes.
The iPhone is designed to sync to one and only ONE computer or library.
If you are trying to change the computer you sync with, try doing a search.  There are multiple postings on how to accomplish this.
If you are simply trying to add additional music to your computer and you have a legal right to that music, add it to the library on your computer.

  • Imported photos and got duplicate "original" pictures

I have been reading the forum most of the night and decided that at least I could not find a post that was specific to my issue, please forgive if this is redundant.
I have a new mac like many people and am run iphoto 7.x. created a new photo library the first day I plugged in the new machine. I then connected to my ext HDD where I keep the folders of photos from my old mac. These are the folder and files themselves and not the whole iphoto DB file mentioned in other posts (at least as I understand). I then imported the photos through iphoto to the new library.
The issue I have is that often but not always following the import, I now have one copy of many photos for a given day -- e.g group titled 26 which has 6 photos from Aug 26 2007, and then another copy called Originals from Aug 26 too. The originals group has fewer photos than the other (ie. 26 group) and as I said, not every day has this case.
So the question is why did the import create two groups and copies of the picture? Which pictures can be deleted safely? I do not mind deleting by hand but I do not want to get a week down the road and find out that I should have deleted the other set. The effect is similar to what others have seen -- I went from 7000 pics to 10000 due to the extra copies?

Thanks for the reply and the direction to '08 forum -- my next step should be to learn more about the product. I must have overlooked the category title when I posted. My error.
On your directions -- I actually was archiving the folder structure, from Finder, of my old iphoto '06 onto my backup external HDD and not the 'library' database. I would do a fresh backup but the folder based backup was my approach for about a year now and the current version of that '06 library now has only some of the total photos that I want in my new library -- i.e. I have deleted the old archived picture files. Basically this approach was to deal with limited space on my powerbook (common issue with photos I see from the postings).
Can you recommend how best to accurately bring in photos from the folder structure archive. I am not concerned with the reference data -- rating, captions, etc, I just do not want to duplicate the photos given the mass of space that the extra copies take up. In the end I am cool with manually removing the extras but I just can't figure out which copy to delete or if it matters?
