Pictures Look Like Xrays

My wife had had her ipod touch for one day and today she tried the camera. They almost look like Xrays. Even if you just bring up the camera and not take a picture, what it shows you on the screen almost looks like an Xray. Are there settings somewhere? I can't believe it is supposed to be like that. This is the new 4th generation.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS THIS: SELECT SETTINGS> SELECT ACCESSIBILITY> AND MAKE SURE YOUR WHITE ON BLACK IS SET TO OFF>>>>>>PROBLEM SOLVED............... YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RESET ALL SETTINGS, BC YOU PROBABLY WILL HAVE TO THEN GO BACK AND SET UP EVERYTHING THE WAY YOU HAD IT!!! I HAVE SENSATIVE YES AND LOOKING AT THE WHITE BACKGROUND WITH BLACK WRITTING HURTS , SO I TURNED MINE ON SO IT WOULD APPEAR A BLACK BACKGROUND WITH WHITE WRITTING... I HAD NO PICS UPLOADED AT THIS POINT, WHEN I SYNCED HOWEVER MY PICS ALSO LOOKED THIS X RAY TYPE. WHEN I WENT BACK AND TURNED IT TO OFF, MY PROBLEM SOLVED.. SO NOW WHEN I WANT TO LOOK AT OR SHOW MY PICS I SIMPLY DO THIS SO THAT I CAN HAVE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS. AND WHEN JUST LISTNING TO MY TUNES OR RADIO STREME I DONT HAVE OT STRAIN MY EYES!

  • Pictures look like they transfer via iTunes app window - but don't appear on iOS device

My pictures look like they transferred to iPad (the new) or iPhone (4) in iTunes (on the App page). I can see the files in the little app file share/transfer window, but the pictures do not show up in the iPhoto App on either iOS device.
Tried deleting the ios iphoto folder mentioned in a different post - did not help.
Deleted all pictures from the app window, and then synched, then tried putting in half as many (mostly because I didn't want to wait for a whole bunch to transfer like the first time ... still showing up in app window, still taking a long time to synch and saying that it is loading, and app percentage of disk space grows accordingly on device (in itunes monitor window). Go to iPhoto on device .... Only pictures are the ones taken by that device.
Photos in the sunflower still work like always, just can't use the cool iPhoto on any of my pictures not taken by the ipad or iphone!!!! GRRRRR!!!!!

This is happening on both the new iPad and iPhone 4.
I wrote under time pressure yesterday,  here is more complete history.
purchased iPhoto app on the New iPad, then plugged in, launched iTunes, went to App tab, went to File Sharing - selected iPhoto, Clicked Add... button, selected photos/iphoto ... used daisyA to select all and clicked open.
All photo names appeared in the iPhoto Documents box. Then clicked Sync button (3 hours later) Sync complete - all photos listed in iPhoto Documents box in iTunes. Memory indicator shows application consumption of memory has grown appropriately for having added all those photos.
eject and disconnect iPad .... no photos appear in iTunes except for those taken by the device. Did same  procedure on iPhone 4 .... same result. I can group, edit, view, and tinker with the photos taken by the device (ie iPhoto working as it should), however I can't see any of the photos from my long time iPhoto library not taken on this device that the iTunes file share window on the app tab says are there (and app memory usage also indicates are probably there).
Turned off both devices and then re-started -- no help
Soft reset both devices (dimple & power key, hold till restart happens) - even though the power down / power up should do at least the same thing.  No help
Deleted iPod Photo Cache in iPhoto app (home/pictures/right click iphoto show package contents ... )
    Synched again - no help
Deleted all pictures listed on app tab in file share window for iPhoto iOS app.
Synched - indicator for amount of memory used by apps decreases appropriately
Still can see and use photos taken by device and no others
Powered down then re- started device again.
Plugged in and open iTunes, use file share window on app tab to add just a dozen pictures this time (instead of all).  Then sync - Still cannot see the pictures in the iPhoto app on the device .... file share window on app tab of iTunes says they are there. Indicator for memory useage says they are there - progress bar during sync says they are being added, I just cant see them in the iPhoto iOS app when I click on the Photos selector in the iOS iPhoto app.
Photos are on the iPad and synching with the ipad from iphoto into the sunflower app that comes with the devices. Just won't go into iPhoto!

  • What app do people use to make their pictures look like this

what app do people use to make their pictures look like this?

Apparently redchainsaw answered back saying that wasn't it. Though looking at the pictures I see nothing odd or special about them.
With that said however, there are many image editors in the App store, and the Instagram App does have several filters you can apply to the photos.   So its very possible that is it.

  • Desktop looks like xray

toddler played on computer now desktop looks like xray - help. thanks in advance

Couldn't help but grin after reading this. You might want to turn off the keyboard shortcuts for Universal Access if you're not going to use such features. This can be done through "Universal Access" or "Keyboard & Mouse" under System Preferences.

  • Is there a way to make a picture look like it is talking?

or do you have to use some outside software for this?
I have a picture I want to use in imovie and make it look like it is speaking to someone, I think I found some outside software, but was wondering if anyone knew how to do this with the software I have? (imovie, iphoto, photoshop elements) thanks in advance! Pete

I have the 99$ version of it, which has a feature called "rotoscoping" that lets you put audio in sync to a animation. I would highly recommend iStopMotion, as there are three programs for Mac in the animation category and iStopMotion is the best one, in my opinion.
As for your other question, I am using it on Snow Leopard and, aside from a couple small glitches, it works beautifully. The interface doesn't look like it came from Tiger-- it looks like it came from ten years into the future!
With iStopMotion, you can export your projects into Quicktime movies for later importing into iMovie, Final Cut Express, or Final Cut Pro. So you could make an animation with rotoscoping and then put it into iMovie to add titles or live action.
NOTE: Rotoscoping is only included with the 99$ version, but it's really worth it to make the upgrade.
Good luck in making your movie!

  • I updated my iPhone 4s with the ios7 and now my pictures look like negatives and lost apps, calculator

I did the update to ios7 on my iphone, my pictures now look like negatives, I've lost the calculator and many more apps that were original on my phone when I purchased it new and apps that I purchased as well.  How do you turn off the running programs.  When you hold the home key it doesn't show the running apps like it used to.

the function to hold the home button NEVER was a way to close apps. That calls up siri.
You double tap the home button and then swipe up on the apps to quit them.
iOS: Force an app to close
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5137
if you are missing apps that are supposed to come with it, they may be on another screen. Swipe from right to left in the middle of your home screen to see if you have mutliple screens setup somehow.
If not, you may need to restore your device through iTunes to get them back
And as for the colors thing, it sounds like the colers may be inverted in the settings.
check in settings>general>accessibility and see if inverted colors is on,or off.

  • HT1430 camera, screen, and pictures look like negatives?

My screen looks like a negative and the camera lens and pictures all appear the same.

Go to Settings>General>Accessibility>White on Black, turn to Off.

  • My pictures look like they are in night vision

My Ipad's camera appears like it's in night vision mode.  I don't know if there is such a thing, but that's what it looks like.  I can't find any option button to change it.  Also, all photos that I look at in my email, from others, look the same way.  Help please.

Check Settings -> General -> Accessibility -> Invert Colors and turn this OFF. Pre iOS 6 this is called White on Black.

  • IPad mini camera pictures look like an xray

My mother just called and said when she is taking pictures they look overtly floresent and like an xray. I am 500 miles away from her and I cant provide a picture because well I don't want the headache.
Any idea what would cause this and in turn how to fix it?
Tried looking this up on google but all I get is links to how the iPad mini camera takes great pictures.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Making a picture look like a canvas print

    Hi
I run an online canvas print company and sometimes for new images we have available I want to create a photoshopped example of how it would look as a canvas print, rather than getting it actually printed and photographing it. I can do this manually but it takes ages so I wondered if there is an easier way, perhaps an action or some kind of plugin that can do it a lot quicker?
This page shows some examples of what I have done in photoshop http://www.fotoviva.co.uk/photos-on-canvas.asp
The best one is the Gallery Wrapped Canvas at the bottom, which shows the image wrapping around the frame - it looks quite real. Ideally it would be useful to be able to create them with and without the wrap to show customers the options they can have.
I tried to create a Photoshop action but the trouble is not all of the images we sell are the same size ratio ie. some are rectangular, some square and some panoramic in shape.
So is there an easy way to create these in Photoshop? I guess it's like making a 2D image into a 3D box in effect.
    Thanks

The major 3D packages are overkill for this (in expense, and time to setup/render).
There is alot of software for this on the pc
This one actually has a mac version
    http://www.boxshot3d.com/
In your search I would look for one that lets you wrap 1 bitmap image against the front and 4 sides of an extruded rectangle, to save you the time of making separate images for side panels(and you likely  have slightly rounded edges on your canvas). I would try the boxshot3d as they appear to have a free trial.

  • Can anyone explain to me why my picture looks like this?

Okay, I'm new to this forum so I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting a link to another forum. The reason I'm doing this is so that I don't have to keep covering the same questions over and over again. In this previous forum I have already answered probably most of the questions you  might ask, plus I have posted a picture of what my computer is doing to some of my pictures and I've posted a link to a RAW file where so far no one else has been able to duplicate the problem. Last week I downloaded the latest update to CS6 and since then I'm having this problem which is why I don't believe this is an issue with my CF card, camera, cable, or card reader. Again, if I'm violating proper forum etiquette I'm sorry, I just didn't want to have to keep repeating myself. Thanks for any help and advice you guys can give me. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=1276253

Hi folks - I am a member of the Canon "Photography On The Net" (POTN) forum where the OP has asked the same question and to which she attempted to link in this forum.  The problem she appears to be having is that when she opens and edits 5DII raw files and saves them in PSCS6 as JPEGs the JPEGs end up with the appearance typically seen with a corrupt raw file (like one in which a read or write problem has occurred with a card reader).  The strange thing is, the raw file itself can be opened within ACR and brouhgt into PSCS6.  There appears to be some issue, according to the OP, with a particular threshold of JPEG compression that may be resulting in the bad JPEG file's appearance.  She is trying to find out if anyone is having similar issues with their most recent update to PSCS6 possibly causing similar problems.
The workflow, as much as I have been able to gather, is that the OP does not have a CF card reader, so she downloads the raw files via USB.  Although she has not stated explcitly how she does it, she then converts the raw files to DNG.  Each DNG is opened in ACR via mini-bridge and then brought into PS for editing.  Once the edits are performed, the file is saved as a JPEG.  For purposes of her print work, she decided that saving at max JPEG quality 12 was imperative.
Initially, turning down the quality to <10 cleared up the issue, but then some images that were converted to black and white (although I do not know if the files themselves were still RGB or grayscale) and saved at quality level 8-9 caused the same saved JPEG appearance, as one would tpyically see in a corrupt raw file.  Although the black and white versus color thing may be a red herrring, the sporadic issue apparently persists under certain circumstances that may or may not be niformly reprodicible.
So, the bottom line is that the OP is trying to find out where in the workflow chain this error might be occurring and how to fix it.  I also tried breaking the raw file linked above via yousendit and had no problems saving it to sRGB, aRGB, grayscale, using both Save As... and Save for Web in CS6 with no problems.  I tried all of these variations at both JPEG 12 and JPEG 8-9.
Apparently the computer and install of CS6 is new as of late last year.  I do not know the OS, but it is a Windows machine.  All of the "testing" I did was on a Mac.
My guess is that the OP is trying to find out if anyone in the Adboe forum community has heard of similar issues, especially after the latest update to PSCS6, as this problem has just started to occur and the recent upate is the most obvious thing, timing wise, that would coincide with the issue's appearance.  It could also be a corrupt hard disk, or computer-related issue, but I am not a Windows user so I will defer in that regard.
I'll also take this opportunity to introduce myself to the Adobe forum - hello everyone!  Post number one complete.
    Hope this helps.
    kirk
Here is an example of one of the saved-from-within-PSCS6 JPEG files with the issue, posted by the OP in the thread on the other forum - I ahve reposted it here with assumed permission from the OP - if this presents a problem (forum rules, etc.) please notify me and I will remove it.  Frankly, I don't think it would be objectionable to the OP and will hopefully serve to clarify the issue furhter.

  • Picture looks like it has a heartbeat......help?

So I am using FCP HD on a G5.
I imported my film shots and all is well for like half of the project. Then about half way through this "heartbeat" emerges. Almost every second, on the second a little jerk happens to the picture. The audio is unaffected, thank God, but I am wondering what this is.
I exported the movie to Quicktime format, MPEG-4 codec for DVD Studio Pro - when I saw my Quicktime movie that I had exported, it contained this "beating". I exported at 24 fps. I am about to try to export the whole thing at 29.9 fps and see if it clears it up. The beating is not present in the original clips, nor did I see it on the actual FCP session.
When I burned a disk and watched the film on DVD, it was still present.
Does anyone know what this is? Has anyone else experienced this before? And if so, how do you solve it?
    ~Jill

    Observations:
    1. Why are you exporting to MPEG-4 codec for DVD SP? mpeg2/m2v files are required.
    2. Exporting at 24 frames per second will not change interlaced footage to progressive footage. Why are you doing that?
    3. Finally, if your source is 29.97, you should stay in that frame rate, and use Compressor to encode that footage to mpeg2 files.

my 2 year old daughter was pushing some keys and somehow changed my entire computers appearance. The desktop picture looks like an xray or a picture negative. All the applications are black and brown with the typed words in white. I have spent three days trying to change it back, does anyone know how to correct this problem?
