Pictures not changing in Project

I created a movie in iMovie '11 and published it to Vimeo. I now need to make some changes in the pictures. So, I opened iMovie, then went to my Project. Of course, after the first edit, it warned me that the movie would need to be republished.
However, I tried to "replace" some of the still shots with updated photos, but they new ones will not show. The movie plays and shows image of the previous frames.
Has anyone had this issue? If so, what is the resolve?

Also, I have upgraded to Lion. The movie was first made with Snow Leopard.

User Pictures not changing

So I decided to change my user picture from an apple standard to a photobooth picture. However, the button in photobooth seems to do nothing. When I open up system prefs and set it manually (select the picture, adjust the size, hit "set"), it changes in the well, but not in the list to the right (like it does when I set and apple picture) and when I quit out of system preferences my changes are GONE.
Anyone have a fix for this?

Try logging out and back in. Or, restart.

Project Server 2013 Site Owner not changed when Project owner is changed

It seems when a project is created the project site "owner" is set to be the person that created the project. If the project owner is changed then site "Owner" is not updated. This is a problem on several fronts and I am almost
hoping it is an issue with my install.(We are running Project permissions mode)
Use Case 1: A project manager leaves the company and the New PM is added as the new project owner. After addition and publish the site owner remains the same as the original. this means the new pm can't share the site (to a stakeholder who is not in the
ERP) by adding them to the general "Contribute" group or otherwise.
Use Case 2: a planner creates a portfolio project and gets it through the workflow and all. the PM is assigned but can't add other stakeholders without going back to the planner and having them add them to the project site as an owner.
Question: Is this a feature or a bug? Is there a script to do this?
Seems kind of cumbersome and has already produced numerous issues for us.

Unfortunately, you are seeing the behavior as designed. The Project Site Owner will always be the person, who created the project site (i.e. Project). This is because, after the initial creation, the only groups that are synced are:
<Site Name> Project Managers (Project Web App Synchronized)
<Site Name> Team Members (Project Web App Synchronized)
<Site Name> Web Administrators (Project Web App Synchronized)
The idea here is that, all 'sharing' of the project site will happen via the project schedule/Project Server. Anybody who is part of the Project team, will be given Team member access, and anybody with rights to save that project will be given project manager
acess on the Project site,
This is also good in a way, because, this prevents any license violations, (users who access project sites also should have PWA CAL), that could happen via direct sharing.
Having said that, you have couple of options:
1) Make it part of your process that when a owner changes, the admin (or workflow) manually adds the new owner to the Site Owners group.
2) Disable Project Site Sync, and manage it via the AD Groups (depending upon on your security model).

BBM Picture not changing

Hey everyone, I love blackberry from bold 2-Z10 which am currently using, but for the past 2 months I have not been able to change my display picture. I have done hard start and all that but it has refused to change. Any advice O A

Are you saying that YOU cannot change your BBM avatar picture, when you touch your picture in your BBM profile, what happens? You are not given the "replace picture" icon at the bottom of avatar preview screen?
Or, are you saying that you CAN change your BBM picture, but your friends cannot see it? If that is the case, it could simply be server issues. One way some of us have fixed that is to go into your BBM profile and make a simple one character change to your BBM name, such as add a period "." or something to your name.

BBM Display Pictures Not Changing

Hello, the display pictures of some of my contacts have been stuck on a picture for like two weeks now.. I've restarted the phone a couple of times & I deleted and reinstalled the bbm yet its still the same pictures but they have changed their pictures like a million times since then. Help please

The problem has been fixed. I can now change my display picture. I guess it was a temporary problem. You can try yours now, and try it with a display picture different from the one you have...
I guess the morale of the story is, if multiple people are having these kinda issues, just wait a bit; the folks at RIM will notice & get it fixed.

Bbm display picture not changing

My contacts can seem to view my display picture when I change it. They can view a picture I up loaded two weeks ago. How do I fix this. :-(

Sometimes it can just take a few days for an avatar to update for other friends of yours.
Tell them to try this:
Open BBM by tapping the BBM icon on the homescreen
Navigate to contact showing up as a PIN, either via the BBM Group members list or your BBM Contacts list, and tap their name as if to open a chat conversation with them
Tap the top bar of the chat window
You should then see a refresh (looks like a circular icon) icon next to the BBM Video icon on the top right, tap that and the contact's name should appear and it may refresh the avatar.

Display picture not changing

Set and reset display preference for desktop but each time i reboot it changes to same pic - even when deleted.

Try deleting the Desktop settings file.
To do it, open Terminal (in /Applications/Utilities) and type:
sudo rm ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.desktop.plist
If you want, you can also delete "com.apple.systempreferences.plist". To delete it, first run the command above and then, run the same but replacing "com.apple.desktop.plist" by "com.apple.systempreferences.plist", without quotes. Finally, restart and see if you can change background

Icloud storage has nothing at all to do with the storage on your iphone.
Icoud storage is on a server somwewhere, not on your iphone.

How to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?

Hi,
I have created one project assigning different users in Solution manger. I want to risitrict some of the users to change the project structure but simultaneously allwoing the project documents to be created, edited or deleted using solar01 under Project documentation tab. For that I have followed the steps provided in the follwoing link.

I am able to restrict the users to change the project structure, but I am not able to allow access to the project documents. It gives me the message "You are not authorised to change the project". This fulfills my one of the requirements. But, Is there any way to restrict the user to change the project structure but not the documents?. Any help will be apperitiated.

Hi Rutvik,
Basically there are 2 different authorization role ...you should look for and customize as per requirement in Z* namespace.
role - SAP_SOLAR01_ALL
this take care of objects in Solar01 like tab access etc
role -SAP_SOL_KW_ALL
this takes care of entire documentation within solman

HT4623 After updating to IOS 7.0.4 for my IPhone 5 I noticed that the pictures I take are not uploaded to my PC in photo stream any longer. I have not changed any of my settings after updating from IOS 7.0.3. What could be wrong?

Preferences>Playback
But I'm switching between projects a lot and I only want to use Proxy Media on one project, so how can I tell FCPX to only use Proxy Media on that ONE project?

Perhaps if apple didn't take back prores LT this wouldn't be as much of an issue.
Pores LT was a great compromise between file size and quality. It produced a fine image for most peoples needs and was 30% smaller.
Hopefully it will be returned soon. I can't imagine why it's not already there. Unless they want to charge for it, ... again..
Have you tried capturing as full res, then change prefs back to proxy, open a new project and import the full res files?
In FCP7 the render pref was separate from the capture pref. is that gone too?
If my idea doesn't work, Surely someone will chime in with a creative work around to this.
And hopefully it'll get fixed soon in an update.

Very odd - iMovie 6 is not changing pictures

I have been using iMovie 6 successfully for many years, and for many years on this machine. And now a bug has occurs that is very strange. And it has happened to me and a three of my students.
Simply, we open iMovie 6 on our Macbooks and Mac Book Pros, drop a few pictures in the top row as normal. Then we hit play while still in edit mode (that is, we have not exported the movie and are still editing in iMovie). We watch the playhead move from one picture to the next, yet the picture in the playback screen within iMovie does not change. I can get it to change by stopping the movie and starting it again. And it seems like I can get it to change by applying the Ken Burns effect to the pics. But otherwise, the playhead moves past the point where one picture ends and the next one is supposed to display, but the first one still shows. The second pic will then sometimes appear when I am on to the third pic!
Any ideas? A virus? Are there preferences I can trash?
And the fact that this is happening to 4 of us on 4 separate machines is most odd.

*Not knowing the origin to Your problem - General approach when in trouble is as follows.*
• Free space on internal (start-up) hard disk if it is less than 10Gb should rather have 25Gb
• Delete iMovie pref file - or rather start a new user/account - log into this and re-try
iMovie pref file resides.
Mac Hard Disk (start-up HD)/Users/"Your account"/Library/Preferences
and is named. *com.apple.iMovie.plist *
While iMovie is NOT RUNNING - move this file out to desk-top.
Now restart iMovie.
• Hard disk is untidy. Repair Permissions, Repair Hard disk (Apple Disc Util tool)
• Garageband-fix. Start it, Play a note and Close it. Re-try (Corrects an audio problem that hinders iMovie)
• Screen must be set to Million-colors
• Third party plug-ins that doesn't work OK (not relevant for iMovie’08 or 09)
iMovie updated ?
QuickTime updated ?
Mac OS version ?
• Program miss-match. iMovie 5.0.2, up to Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK
• Program miss-match. iMovie 6.0.3 or 6.0.4, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
• Program miss-match. iMovie’08 v. 7.0.1, Mac OS X.4.11 AND QuickTime 7.4.1 - is OK (might work under Leopard)
From LKN 1935. (in this case = iMovie HD (5), I tried it all, but nothing worked.
Your answer (above) has been helpfull insofar as all the different trials led to the conclusion that
there was something wrong with my iMovie software. I therefore threw everything away and reinstalled
iMovie from the HD. After that the exportation of DV videos (there has not been any problem with HDV videos)
to my Sony camcorders worked properly as it did before.

I think it might be a prank. I just received like 2 and half hrs ago. And, what do they mean broadcast? Like we should pass it on to bbm contacts? Reminds me of Whatsapp prank msgs. If ma fone give me problems. I'm takin it back to where I bought it(TFG). Don't care whether warranty/guarantee has expired.
