Pictures not opening on Blackberry z10

Every time I try to open pictures on my blackberry, it opens and shows me the tile on the screen and then it exits straight away. I'm running BB10.2.0.424 and model is STL100-2
Pictures worked when I first got the phone and then I updated my software and now I can't go to the pictures app. Please help. Thanks..

TTY (Q90D) not compatible with BlackBerry Z10

Please fix this. I purchased a TTY machine (Q90D) for a deaf friend to use and it will not function properly on the Z10. I called the TTY company which makes this product and they concluded I was doing everything right, but that the BlackBerry Z10 (turns out) is the culprit here as it is not completely compatible with the Q90D although the machine is cellular compatible. I say not completely because one time during the test I wrote hello and they were able to read that at the other end, but at no time did I receive any written information/message/text from them. I'm hoping that someone from BlackBerry support will read this and look into this matter for me. At the moment I'm very disappointed as my friend is not able to communicate with his parents who are old and do not have a computer, nor a cell phone. Thank you in advance for your support. PDFs with password security will not open on Blackberry tablet

I'm a designer, pretty clued with everything Mac based. I put password security on PDFs sent out to clients to restrict editing, theft of images, maps, high resolution printing etc.
However, they won't open on Blackberry tablets, if they do, they show as blank, grey pages. The same PDFs without secuity will open. Client tells me he is using up to date Adobe Reader. To be clear, I do not create a password requirement for opening the PDFs, just to restrict editing etc.

I've had this same exact problem quite often ever since the update to version 7.6.2.9 on Windows Vista Home Premium. The only solution I have found is to go into Task Manager and find the two I-Tunes processes that are running and END those two processes. I don't know what other problems doing this could cause and it is VERY annoying! It might be a good idea to reboot after fixing it. I hope this gets fixed soon.

Amazon app store not opening in my Z10 after OS updated to 10.3.1?

Recently updated my Balckberry z10 to 10.3.1 OS. Amazon appstore got installed as default. When i am trying to open it, it's asking permission to access data and files. And when i accept the same, the app crashes and closes. Please suggest way to resolve the issue.
Have rebooted, and done as much as I could thing, and yet, this app still doesnt work.
Worst is you cannot even remove the dam app from the system.
Went to Device Monitor then Storage then Appstore. Clear data.
That would work if you could get past the ACCEPT part of the app. There is no data to clear if you dont even get to a logon screen
This app does not or has not installed correctly at all
You get to the ACCEPT permissions screen when the app opens and it immediatly crashes.
No login, and when you open the app again its the same thing. Permissions screen at which you accept it again and crash.
No matter how many times that you re install, reboot, reload the app
SAME thing over and over.

Pictures Not Opening in iPhoto

After rearranging my photos within the iPhoto Library folder, they will no longer open. The thumbnails appear, and the photos will open in Preview. Is it possible to arrange them to my preferences if I keep them in the Originals folder in iPhoto?

It is strongly advised that you do not move, change or in anyway alter things in the iPhoto Library Folder as this can cause the application to fail and even lead to data loss

No it's not.
iPhoto is a photo organiser. It's a database and like any database it will not work if you manipulate the data outside of the application. So everything you want to do you must do via the iPhoto Window. The good news is that anything you need to can be done from inside the iPhoto Window.
To cases: To get iPhoto working again you must return it to the way it was. If you cannot do that, then you need to create and populate a new library. To create and populate a new library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same film rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, books, calendars etc.
Move the iPhoto Library Folder to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library Folder on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual rolls to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library Folder on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.
Some further info: Were organising things to make it easier to find photo files? There are three ways (at least) to get files from the iPhoto Window.
1. Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
2. File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
3. Show File: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.
Also the Film Roll view (View -> Film Rolls) corresponds exactly to the Roll folders in the Finder. Rolls can be named, created, photos can be moved between rolls - as long as this is done via the iPhoto Window and then these changes are reflected in the iPhoto Library Folder.

Pictures not opening

When I open a pdf document there is just a gray box where there is supposed to be a picture, do I have something besides my brain turned off?
I open all these documents ok and print etc ok but for pictures just a plain old gray box.

Yes. You need to turn on "Display Large Images" in Reader preferences>Page Display.

Pictures not opening with QuickTime

I recently upgraded some software on my desktop (one of the automatic updgrades that pop up when you restart your computer....since doing that, there are certain pictures that won't open when I go to certain websites. Instead there is just a box with the "Q" and a "/" in the middle of it....anyone know how I can fix this so that I can see photos again?

Did you repair permissions after updating?
Double check your settings in the QT MIME Settings.
Quicktime>Quicktime Player Preferences>Advanced
Click on the MIME Settings button.

Pictures not opening correctly

When I try and open an image in Photoshop it appears as the image below -
I have checked and my Graphic card is on the approved list and I have updated it today but I still have the problem.
If I make a duplicate layer I can see the full image OK, its just when I open the image to start with. Most frustrating.

This is almost certainly a driver issue. It only affects some card models, and some driver versions.
(though, it's also possible you just have a defective GPU or VRAM, but I would expect more problems if that were the case)
At the time that we tested that card, it was working - so we listed it as compatible. Subsequent driver updates have introduced bugs in the driver that cause the display issues you are seeing. Please understand that GPU vendors are updating their drivers every 2-4 weeks.
Since the current driver is not working, you may have more luck rolling back to an older version of the driver.
What changed in ACR is that ACR in CS6 now uses the GPU, where it did not in CS5. So it is now exposed to the same driver bugs as Photoshop (unless you turn off the GPU features in Photoshop's preferences).

How do I install itunes.exe on blackberry passport? I've downloaded file but it will not open.

I'm trying to download an app that's only available on iTunes. I've downloaded iTunes.exe but it will not open on Blackberry passport. Is there a specific .exe version that I need to download?

You can't. iTunes itself runs on Windows PCs or Macs. Any apps available from the iTunes Store will only run on iPhones or iPads.

Blackberry Z10/Q10 - WPA2 PEAP MSCHAPv2 RADIUS failure

we don't get our Z10/Q10 Smartphones to work with our RADIUS infrastructure.
All other phones (Windows Phones, iPhones, Androids, BB 9800,9810,8900) work without problems.
We always get an authentification failure. We don't need/have an certification check.
We also tested all possible options, but it won't work.
This is very disapointing and frustrating.

Just to let you know, we've found the problem.
It seems that the Z10 (Q10) have a problem with passwords which have special characters...
Maybe our security policies are too strong for the self-named high-security systems from Blackberry.
It's a pitty that it works on all other plattforms (iOS, Android, Windows Phone) but not on the Blackberry Z10,Q10 series.

I have a BlackBerry Z10 and once I change my BBM picture my contacts do not see the updated picture, but only my status updates. What should i do?

It can take a while for pictures to percolate through the servers apparently.

Blackberry Z10 does not display all Facebook Contacts or PIctures

Hello,
I am having an issue with my new Z10 where it isn't displaying all of my FB contacts or any display pictures for the contacts that are actually displayed.
I have tried wiping the phone and starting over (re-syncing accounts and info, etc) but nothing works.
Some contacts are displayed, but not all. And the ones that are displayed have no display pictures.
Please help.

Picture gallery not opening after OS upgrade

I recently bought blackberry z10 and up graded the OS to 10.2.0.424. After the upgrade I see that Picture gallery doesn't open. I tried rebooting the phone by pressing both volume keys simultaneously, but the phone won't reboot as well. Please help.

Connect to your OEM wall outlet battery charger for a couple hours to charge, and while still connected to the charger, remove the battery a minute, resinsert to reboot. After reboot leave to fully charge to 100%.
