Pictures not viewable in Firefox

Added another page to my website last night, when I came to work this morning to check out the pictures, I realized that they are not viewable using my firefox browser, safari and IE work fine, any ideas? I had a similar problem when the .me changeover first happened, but all has been well for the past month or so. Here is the page:

Try this first:
Check that you have the latest version of iWeb (2.0.4) and also download the latest Software Update for you Mac OSX through Apple menu / Software Update. Then open iWeb and make a minor change to all the pages, like moving an item one pixel and then do a Publish All to MobileMe. You can also delete your entire site from MobileMe through iDisk first before doing the Publish All in iWeb. That should jump start the photos.
Make sure you backup your iWeb file first before doing anything! Having a backup of your site is always good.
It the above doesn't help you see below.

Why will twitpic pictures not load in firefox but will in internet explorer?

Why suddenly have twitpic pictures stopped loading in Firefox. They load in internet Explorer but just stopped loading on the twitpic site in Firefox??

The pictures load OK for me, with twitpic on display, click on the site identity button (for details on what that is see [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Site+Identity+Button]) and then on More Information. This will open up the page info dialog.
First select the Permissions panel, make sure that "Load Images" is set to allow (selecting Use Default should also work)
Next select the Media panel, then click on the first item in the list. Use the down arrow key to scroll through the list. If any item has the option "Block images from (domain name)" selected, de-select the option.
This should hopefully resolve your issue, but also see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Images+or+animations+do+not+show
Some add-ons can also block images, for example if you have AdBlock Plus installed, make sure that you have not accidentally created a filter to block the images.

Why don't friend pictures not disply in firefox but do in explorer?

In Firefox 3.6, when I go to my profile in Facebook My profile picture and my friends picture are not displayed. If I use MS Internet Explorer they appear. I have updated java and Shockwave and emptied my cache but still doesn't work.

It is possible that you clicked "Block Images" in the right click context menu while trying to save an image. 
Check the image exceptions: Tools > Options > Content: Load Images: Exceptions - See [[Options window - Content panel]] 
 
A way to see which images are blocked is to click the favicon (Site Identification icon) on the left side of the location bar. 
A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info"). 
Open the Media tab of the "Page Info" window. 
Select the first image and scroll down though the list with the Down arrow key. 
If an image in the list is grayed and there is a check-mark in the box "Block Images from..." then remove that mark to unblock the images from that domain.

Pictures galleries viewable with FireFox 3.0

Hi ! I put some galleries on my site. When I see them with Safari everything is ok, but when I tried to see them with FireFox 3.0 (from my Mac or from a PC at work), the galleries have no pictures !!!! What's happening ? Here are some of my galleries :

Pictures not viewable on Facebook, thumbnails or otherwise. Any thoughts?

Installed SP2 then removed it, now I can't view images on FB with Firefox. Might be other sights too but I don't have the problem with Internet Explorer so it must be Firefox.

Pictures Not Viewable When I FORWARD E-Mails

Hello,
Something weird happening when I try to forward emails with photos. They don't show up on the recipient side. This is annoying when you are trying to send family photos around the family that come to you!

Sorry I cannot help because I was about to post a call for help as I have a similar problem. When I try to forward an email with images of any sort the forwarding email panel contains only Lego bricks decorated with question marks in place of the images. This has only just stated and coincides with installing iLife 08 but as that has no Mail program I assume that it is a coincidence. Just to add insult to injury, the sound effect warning of incoming mail no longer operates. Anyone out there who can help please?

Saved pictures not viewable

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 7. I am editing photos, saving them as a JPEG file, and when I return to the organizer, the photo comes up as if it's a corrupted file (looks like a torn piece of paper). I am then unable to view, print or edit. Is it a problem with my save procedure or Elements? I have saved the photos this way thousands of times, and have the same settings, as far as I can tell.
Any suggestions?

Photo page not working in firefox

ive narrowed my iossure down to the fact ahtt my photo page is not viewable on Firefox....any advice?

The enhanced picture uploaded for ebay is not visible in Firefox but is in IE

I sell on ebay and like using the enhanced picture uploader. I still able to use this uploader on IE but Firefox does not even allow ebay to show it as an option. I am very new to Firefox so I am certain it is a setting I need to change. Any and all assistance is very much appreciated.

Why are the options for "When Firefox starts" NOT clickable in Firefox 5? I want to choose "Windows and tabs that where opened last time you accessed the net" but Firefox won't let me.

In the previous version of Firefox one could choose to save tabs so that when Firefox opened, all the tabs from the previous sessions appeared. This was done in Settings > Options > General > Startup. In the menu for the "When Firefox Starts" one had the option for "Windows and tabs that where opened last time you accessed the net." in Firefox 5.0, this menu is gray and not clickable. Help, please?

Possibly you are not saving your "browsing history" which is what the session history is tied into.

There are several things that are related to private browsing and not saving History
* Private Browsing Ctrl+Shift+P
* You selected "Never remember history" in first drop-down of Tools > Options Privacy and all of the check marks disappear (See picture above)
* "Permanent private browsing mode" was check-marked under "Use custom settings for history" in the first drop-down of Tools > options > Privacy (see picture above)

20 GB Ipod Problem - Not viewable in Windows and wont start

Hello all, wondering if you can help me with this Ipod problem i have.
1) Ipod turns on and displays folder with exclamation mark.
2) Ipod is not viewable in my computer
1 - I have tried a reset and putting into disk mode, which goes through fine, but it still starts with the above error.
2 - I can sometimes view the Ipod in My Computer and or disk management, but can not go into it or format it. Diskj manager reports it as un-readable.
If i try to run Ipod update/restore application it asks me to plug in an Ipod.
Any ideas on what else i can do? I thought i could at least get windows to see the device and format it to a standard Fat32, then use the Ipod restore to re-write the folders to use it as a ipod.

Try this then
The Sad iPods icon, clicking sound or folder with an exclamation mark are the toughest problems to deal with, and must do a Restore in order to fix it. However, when your iPod is showing this icon, it is probably too late for your computer to recognize the iPod.
1. Try these five steps (known as the five Rs) and it would conquer most iPod issues.

Still can't see your iPod?
Several things could keep iPod from appearing in iTunes or in the Desktop/Finder when you connect it to your PC/Mac. The most likely causes are listed below in logical order. Check from the top of the list to see if that is what's keeping iPod from appearing.
3. Try to wait 30 minutes while iPod is charging.
4. Try another known-good FireWire or USB through Dock Connector cable.
5. Try another known-good FireWire or USB port on your computer .
6. Try to disconnect all devices from your computer's FireWire and USB ports.
7. Windows users having trouble with their iPods should locate a Mac user. We've found that in many cases when an iPod won't show up on a PC that it will show up on the Mac. Then it can be restored. A Mac user often can get his iPod back by connecting it to a PC and restoring it.
There are also some cases being reported that some unrecognized iPod being able to be erased with Linux, then reconnect the iPod with the original computer and do a Restore there.
8. Try to do an Erase (Disk Utility) on a Mac computer or a format with a PC (Disk Management tool) but ensure you choose the right Drive (your iPod not your Hard Disk of your computer). You may need to plug and unplug your iPod with the computer for several attempts, and switching around Format and Restore, and hope out of sudden, it will get recognized.
9. Diagnostic mode solution – which I copied from a thread of a post from thinktwice
“Then I cam across this special Diganostics Mode that you can get to by resetting and then while the Apple is showing pressing the Select and backwards keys simultaneously. It bring up and weird Diagnostic utility witha a abunch of tests. Here is what I did
- I tried the 5in1 test and got and error on Firewire.
- I did the HDD R/W and surprisingly it passed.
- I went on to the HDD scan. This supposedly tkaes acouple of minute so I waited. I think 4-5 dots appeared then nothing. The iPod started to get hot. THe disk was spinning away. After a while the battery got very low. THis test chews up the battery. So I escaped out by resetting and went to connect it to a power source.
My USB was dangling out of my computer and I was too lazy to get the Firewire AC adapter thing going so I connected expecting the whole lockup thing with iTunes. Surprise. IT was recognized immediately and has been working like a champ. So go figure.

10. Let me ask you a question, if an iPod with no iPod software with it. When your connect it with a computer, what would happen?
Yeah, the computer will treat it as a fresh external hard disk, which will get force mounted, the computer will ask you to format the iPod. It does not really matter the format is completed or not, the key is to erase (or partly) the corrupted iPod software on the iPod, after that the computer will recognize it.
Once it has been completed, eject your iPod, open the iPod updater and interestingly, you will able to do the Restore this time.
Base on the above, that's why I suggest Windows users who experience trouble with their iPods should locate a Mac machine or vice versa. PC computer will not recognize a Mac formatted iPod, but it will get mounted in an attempt to format your iPod.
11. Put your iPod in disk mode and plug with a computer, and have a boot of your computer using the Mac OS or XP startup disks, hope that your iPod will be seen on Mac's Disk utility and allow you to do a Erase there. Or, under the XP, you will be able to find your iPod there for you to do a Restore.
But, if none of these steps address the issue, your iPod may need to be repaired. You can arrange for service at the iPod Service Website.
I have just read an interesting solution about the Sad iPod, it does make sense but the warranty will be waived once you open the iPod, I would not do it myself as I am not good on doing this

af:goLink is not working in firefox. I have even tried clientComponent=true but it doesn't help.
It is breaking a serious usecase for our area - as it used to work earlier.
Clicking on the link just refreshes the page and doesn't drill down to the link destination.

Window.event does not working in Firefox 4.0 and also window.event.ctrlKey ?

I'm using Microsoft virtual earth map 6.2 (bing Map) in my application.On map showing number of images.On Each image there is onClick event that select image if user press left mouse button while holding Ctrl key .For this I wrote java-script function where I'm using Window.event.button (To check mouse button) and window.event. ctrlKey(To check control key) But these both are not working in Firefox 4.0 ,the same is working in Firefox 3.6X version perfectly.

The same problem is in Firefox 5.0 version too

Newly created images will not display in Firefox 8 for Mac. Same images appear in other browsers. Why?

1. Specific new images are uploaded but will not display in Firefox 8 on my Mac with OS 10.6.8. (Does appear in other browsers, e.g., Chrome and Opera, and appears on Firefox 8 for PC.) Also, other images on the page display.
2. I have cleared cache, cookies, etc., in Recent History, and restarted both application and computer.
3. I've tried creating GIF, JPG and PNG, but none show on the page in Firefox on my Mac. I can see the offending image in other browsers such as Chrome on the same computer, and on Firefox on PC. Put a border around #footerPanvalid to make sure that you can
