Pictures on music library not synced properly on my iphone

for example the picture for the rolling stones shows up for adele song  \

I noticed the problem, too. there are a lot of discussion already going on. I would advice you to send feedback directly to apple. All I know is that it happens around 9000+ pics from the million threads I have already read. The problem seems to be getting worse from my point of view. Lately iTunes started to tell me, that 5 year old projects were 'recent', but did not sync any new ones plus stalled in the middle of the process quite a few times. My lib consist of managed photos, older ones imported from iphoto (seems to trouble Aperture even more).

Music does not sync properly when updated to latest version.  Can see on computer but can't play from ipod.

    Hope this helps...
I was having the same problem where only 1.7GB of 10GB of selected music would sync so I decided to start fresh.  The following steps worked for me:
    1.  Open itunes and connect iphone 5 if not already.  Uncheck all playlists, artists, etc. till nothing is checked to sync.  Then uncheck the sync music box so that all music will be removed from the phone.  Sync iphone
    2.  Eject device. Quit itunes (don't just close). unplug iphone.
    3.  Restart imac, macbook, or PC.
    4.  Restart iphone.
    5.  Now after power up, restart itunes then plug in iphone, check sync music and select music to sync.  Sync iphone
    6.  It worked for me!!!  Good luck.

  • Music library not syncing

I have 4641 songs in my iTunes library.  When I sync my iPhone only 1106 songs are transferring over.  I have "sync entire music library" checked.  I don't understand why most of music is missing.  I have plenty of room on iPhone for the full library.

is all your content "checked" in the main itunes library window ?

  • N91 Music Library Not Refershing Properly

Hey everyone, im having a problem with my N91s music library, the title of this thread should be pretty self explanatory but then music librarys failing to find any of the tracks ive transferred onto the hard disk. i can browse to the files in file manager and play them there but refreshing the music library returns "mucic library refreshed, tracks added: 0" my firmware version is 1.00.028.58, im just waiting for nokia to release the newer version online and im hoping thatll fix things, has anyone else had this issue and can someone confirm that its fixed in the latest firmware?

yeah, thats the punishment i get for being an "early adopter". ive managed to temporarily fix it by backing up, formatting the hard drive then restoring factory settings and restoring the backup. its hardly ideal but hey, it works.
im gonna hold on untill the N91's firmware is avaliable to update online, im kinda secretly hoping that maybe the reason online firmware upgrades became avaliable now is because the WMADRM update for N91's is imminent and nokia wanna make it nice and easy for other users to upgrade

  • My playlists do not sync properly with my iphone

I have playlists in iTunes, which is fully up-to-date, on my 4 month old MBP.
When I sync these playlists with my iPhone 4 (iOS 5.01), the playlists are incomplete on the iPhone.
For some reason, some of the songs are missing in the playlists, though the songs themselves ARE on the iPhone (and can be played outside of the playlist).
    Solutions tried so far...
I removed all of my music (and playlists) via iTunes from my iPhone, then re-sync'd them.  No change.
I deleted one of the incomplete playlists (one that wouldn't sync properly from iTunes), I recreated it, and tried to sync it with my iPhone.  No change.
I'm at a loss.  Why would SOME songs in my playlists show up, but NOT ALL?  I suspect this has something to do with iOS 5.01, iCloud, and/or NOT using iTunes Match????  I've never had a problem with syncing before iOS 5 and iCloud.
I'd appreciate any solution to this problem.
    Thanks.

I have this exact problem, I switched to ios5 on my iPhone 4 and tried syncing it with my mac mini. All the playlists are complete on itunes but for some reason 75% of the playlists are empty on the phone but the music all there.
I've tried everything you have but I think the only thing left to do is remove all the songs from iTunes and then re add them and recreate all the new playlists.

  • I got a new iPhone 5 and my itunes music will not sync properly. it will show up on the phone but it is light gray wording and they are not selected only a few songs work. The grayed out music just takes up space. Someone please help.

My itunes music is grayed out and unplayable on my new iphone 5. only a few songs work and the rest just take up space. They will play correctly in my itunes on the computer but not the phone. Please help.

I am so relieved to hear that I am not the only one experiencing this! However, I am sorry to hear you are going through this as well. Lucky for me I am upgrading to a 5s which will be sent to me on Wednesday. I did stumble upon an article with tips on how to downgrade back to iOS 7, but I am EXTREMELY apprehensive about doing that myself. Here's the article link if you want to give it a go:

  • Entire music library not syncing - 4s

Just upgraded from iPhone 3 (16G) to the 4s (32G). Strangely enough, all of my music downloads from iTunes into my iPhone3, but my 4s leaves some random albums out. No rhyme or reason as to how it's occuring. Thanks to the extra room, I have NO space constraints. Any ideas as to how to get ALL of my music into my 4s? Thanks!

  • After installing IOS5 the music is not syncing correctly to the iPhone.

All the songs used to play correctly, however now some do not play on the iPhone and some no longer play in either iTunes or the iPhone. Any ideas?

Are the songs still physically present and also in the same directory?
to test, move the song via drag and drop onto the iphon or push in the library.
    kind regards Olaf

  • Hotmail account not syncing properly

My hotmail account is not syncing properly with my iPhone - only the inbox folder is accessible and my calendar is not syncing with my iPad.  Suggestions??

To be quite honest, I have no idea if I created my Hotmail account as an Exchange account (and unsure how to check on this!)  However, I can tell you that my Hotmail inbox continues to update on my iPhone as I receive new emails.  I'm just not seeing the other folders (i.e. Junk folder and the personalized folders I've created).  Also, my calendar was previously working well.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure what has happend to change this.  Thanks for your response!

  • I setup a separate itunes account for my iphone. I put my ipod music onto it. The music will not sync to my iphone. It tells that all info will be lost if I do it. HELP! The music is showing in the library.

you can connect the iPhone to your mac and import those iPhone photos and videos to iPhoto assuming you have iPhoto. You can create a folder and export all those photos to the Finder. Keep safe somewhere.  Also keep the iPhoto library for safe keeping. When you restore your iPhone you can sync all those photos back to the iPhone. so you will lose nothing. Just remember when you export from iPhoto select jpeg for photos and original for videos taken with the iPhone.

  • My music will not play on my iPhone 5. It has the upgrade as well as my iTunes on my macbook. But the music will not sync to my iPhone and all music is in my library. What do I need to do?

My music will not play on my iPhone 5. It has the upgrade as well as my iTunes on my macbook. But the music will not sync to my iPhone and all music is in my library. What do I need to do?

An exclamation mark means that it doesn't know where you moved the music to.  To fix this, click on the exclamation point and when it asks you to browse to the location where you moved it to, use the normal commands to go up and down folders in your external drive until you find the song.  Repeat as necessary.

  • I can't open my itunes store.  I can open my music library and sync but not open my music store. I have deleted and reinstalled ituens and still not good.  Help

I can't open my itunes store.  I can open my music library and sync but not open my music store. I have deleted and reinstalled ituens and still not good.  Help

I assume you are talking about iTunes on your computer, if so, you will have to remove all Apple programs associated with iTunes:
iTunes, QuickTime, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Make sure everything that is by Apple is removed including Safari. You can sort by "Publisher", when you uninstall programs. Make sure you have at least one other web browser (like Firefox or Internet Explorer) before removing Safari. That way you can go back to the Apple web site and redownload iTunes later.
Reboot the computer then reinstall iTunes. Everything should work normally.

  • Music library not showing correctly in the scrolling pics

ver 3 - when I open my computer and it loads my library - I am sitting at music, it keeps scrolling the same 3 pictures - is there a way I can make is scroll my albums correctly,  I have an extensive album collection and would like to see it scroll through them -

Music is not synced to the cloud. In iTunes 11, yes. Music is stored online, but this is a function of the iTunes store, not the cloud.  Only purchased content from the iTunes store will be available on the cloud.  If a song is downloaded from the cloud to your computer, or already exists as a file on your computer, then it will show up as a song that is not on the cloud, but just on your computer.   However, if you remove these songs from itunes and from the computer, and then restart iTunes, they will show up as being "on the cloud".
    Cheers!

  • ICloud Not Syncing Properly on One Device

So I have an iPad, iPhone, iMac, and Macbook Pro.
I use iCloud syncing for one program, Notability and for whatever reason, things do not get synced to the Macbook Pro. In order to retrieve all the documents in the cloud, I have to uncheck 'iCloud Drive' in System Preferences and then recheck it. (Also of note is that the reading list in Safari does not sync properly, but contacts does). This only happens with the Macbook Pro. I have tried signing in and out of iCloud but it occurs again. I am using the same e-mail address with all devices. Anybody have any clue what could be the issue?

It's important to realise that there is only one copy of your Contacts and Calendars, it lives at iCloud.com and your devices (all of them) get the same thing. If your calendars are gone from iCloud.com you're going to need a backup copy.
? Do the calendars exist on any device? Do you backup your Mac?
On each device verify the iCloud calendar and contacts are set as the default (if you do not have any accounts other than iCloud this does not apply)
iTunes likewise has one Library, the iTunes library, quite separate from any iCloud connection. Again, you should keep a backup of it. You can download all tunes purchased from iTunes whenever you want, if you use iTunes Match you can download all the music in your iTunes library regardless of how it got there.
In iTunes, ensure that 'Show Music in the Cloud' is checked. (View Menu)
