Pictures pixelating just after and before transition to another picutre
My wife has created a season ending photo slide show in iDVD for our son's senior H.S. season. She is using iDVD 6 (never upgraded) and never had issues in the past. Recently, I upgraded all my computers to Leopard (family pack) including her iMac 20" screen computer.
In her latest iDVD effort she using 6MP camera with photos taken at highest quality her camera can take. After creating here iDVD slide show everything looks great on the computer but after creating DVD's of her project to distribute to the graduating seniors the photos have lost all their quality before and after each screen transition when view on TV's. The photo's pixelate so bad that you can hardly recognize any detail features like eyes and mouths on the boys. What are we doing wrong? She has exhauseted many hours on this and now we need the Apple communities help. HELP!!!!!!

I am having the same problem. In Slideshow the still image just before transition is pixelated. It then gets sharp just before transition to next image. I turned off transitions and it displays clearly and was able to burn the DVD. I think Apple could do better than this! What good is having all these transitions and not be able to display them clearly. I think they also need to revise their advertising hype about creating media that rivals Hollywood. The quality of their transitions need to be addressed and the problem solved. I could understand if the image became a little pixelated during transition, but the still image should display clearly. Obviously someone is not testing their own product if this is the level of what they are producing and selling. Maybe if enough people complain they will correct the problem. PS- Tried all the different quality settings and burn speeds... same results.

i ran the following script

This update statement will fail because it violates the primary key constraint on the table.
During execution of the update statement, i expect only the before statement and row triggers to fire because after triggers will be fired after execution of the statement and in this case the update execution has failed.
But the output i am getting is
fired before statement
fired before each row
fired trigger after eachrow
which means the after TRIGGER_after_eachrow has also fired but my update statement has failed and TRIGGER_after_eachrow should fire only after updating the rows.
Why this trigger was fired? If oracle processes all the triggers even if the triggerig statement fails, then why TRIGGER1_AFTER_STATEMENT was not fired.

constraints technically are validated AFTER the statement executes - it is not really defined
whether a trigger will or will not fire (and if you have logic that depends on such intricate
ordering, we have a really big logic problem)
but a for each row trigger - sure, because tables are allowed to violate their constraints during
the DML, think about this:
update emp set empno = empno+1;
every row updated could temporarily violate uniqueness as there could be two empno =2, empno=3 and
so on as this goes through row by row. May be its useful to you..

Passing values using "Submit" and also transition to another tabstrip
Hi, I am new to VC and have some basic issues in my model.
I have used two layers, the first one for selection of data and the second one to disply the charts, using tabstrips. when I input the data in the first tab and click "Submit" pushbutton, I could not transition automatically to the second which shows the data. I found that onely one action can be set under custom action on the pushbutton. Is there a better way to do?
I could get the relevant documents when I searched. Please let me know how to achieve this. Thanks

Follow the steps below - (I am assuming that you are using BI queries in your model & your tabs are as per quarter - one tab for each quarter)
1. Create one radio button & in entry list create static list as 1 - Quarter 1, 2 - Quarter 2 & so on.
2. Now you want plan Vs actual in one graph & Currency in another. So create these reports for each quarter separately, so in all you will have 8 reports (2 for each quarter)
3. IN the layout you have to arrange it vary carefully, you take all the 'Plan Vs Actual' report for all the quarters & arrange them exactly one over the other. Same for Currency reports also.
4. NOw Give visibility condition for each report example - if report is for first quarter then condition will be - bool(if(radio button string=="1",true,false)) & assign the default value in radio button as 1. so that at the time of execution you will get these reports by default.
5. Like wise give condition for all.
6. When you execute this report you will get radio buttons at the top & as you select different buttons differents report will get opened.
7. As you have plased these exactly one over the other, user will not come to know these are different reports.
Try this method, if you have any doubts for this, please do ask me.

just installed PS 13 elements and loaded pictures into organizer. after using PS editor now organizer is not reloading. I keep getting error message saying organizer unexpectedly quit, do you want to reopen. When I click on it to reopen it doesn't and I get the same message again. I rebooted computer, still did it, I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and I am still getting the same error message. This is on Mac OS with yosemite. Any Ideas Please!!!

Hi, All. I just bought a new IPhone 5 and before I try to sync it I am wondering if I will have an option to download only my Music / my pictures
only from the Cloud? Really only want to transfer my music. Or does it just automatically load everything in the cloud?

After updating to mavericks, facebook will only load once in a while. The blue bar goes part way and just stops and does nothing. Never had this problem before. So far facebook is the only site I have had a problem with.

I bought my iphone on 23 June 2011, a week after the warranty period, I noticed that, each time I am on line or using it's software, the screen just disappear and offline just like that, and I had to re-start my iphone.
I have been facing this problem numeral times and not sure what is wrong with it.
Went back to Celcom to report, they asked me to deposit to their technical department and to come back after 2 weeks. (2 weeks) is way too long to wait.

Having trouble watching live streams such as jtv and twitch.tv. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling adobe flash but I still get no stream just ads and pictures. Anyone have any suggestions?
I just wanted to follow this up by saying that you were entirely correct in your diagnosis of the situation. My computer did have the faulty part you linked to. I brought my laptop in and specifically told them to run that test, had it fail and then argued with the person at the genius bar and the manager. Eventually they offered to have it sent out and have everything replaced for free of charge. They did so mainly because I had complained about graphical issues almost every other time I had come in with problems and no one ran the test. They should have caught this problem during my warranty, but they didn't, even though I mentioned the problem.
Anyhow, after having the part replaced, I haven't had my computer crash a single time since, or had many of the issues mentioned above. I've never had this experience before. Even brand new, I got occasional crashes. Hopefully this new trend continues.
I do find that web browsing is still incredibly slow. Web browsers just chug along at a slow pace, even though I have great internet speed. Maybe I'll try just deleting my web browsers and reinstalling them...

I dropped my iPhone 3G in water and it immediatley turned off. One day later, it turns on again but it tells me to connect to iTunes. iTunes says that I need to restore my iPhone to the factory settings in order for it to work again.
I want to get all of the pictures off of my phone (if it's not too late), but I'm not sure how to do it. The only option iTunes gives me is to restore the phone. My computer doesn't even detect the phone as being connected to my computer so I cannot view the pics that way.
Can anybody help me figure out how to get the pictures off of my phone before restoring it?

Following are Steps to Transfer Photos from iPhone to MAC:
1). Attach your iPhone to Mac
2). Open up Preview
3). Click File menu and from there select “Import from iPhone…”
4). Select the photos you would like to transfer and click import, Select “Import All” in case you want to have all the photos in computer.
5). For confirmation sake go to ~/Pictures/ folder, picture copied from iPhone should be there.
If you have a windows PC then follow below given procedure to Transfer Photos from iPhone to PC.
You can accomplish this just using Windows Explorer, but there are two different methods. And here you go with the first one.
1). Plug your iPhone into your computer without iTunes running.
2). Now pop-up will appear asking what you would like to do with iPhone.
3). Click on “View Content”
4). Locate your photos.
5). Copy the same and paste it at desired location on your computer.
Another method for Mac users is "Image Capture" which is already installed on your mac, I will look for other applications for mac users, hope this helps! -
Need help with keeping pictures in focus after transitions
I am fairly new to Final Cut X.
Right now I am making a DVD of just photos with music added.
I am using transitions between photos as well.
I'm having one problem:
When I play the movie in FC, during the transition from photo to photo my pictures look great and are clear, but when the transition is not happening and the picture is just showing it goes a bit blurry.
Can someone help me out with a solution for this?

The Artwork box will open.
Open the folder with the pictures in it from Windows Explorer
Drag the picture you want to the Artwork box from folder.
Press OK.

Highlight the song or you want to add the artwork to.
Right click on it and choose Get Info
Then choose the Artwork tab
Choose Add and browse to the picture you want to add.
To add artwork to multiple items using Get Info
Open iTunes, highlight your selection (click on the first track in your list, hold down the shift key and click on the last).
Right click anywhere in the selection and choose Get Info
When you are asked if you want to edit multiple items say yes.
Drag your artwork to the small artwork box about halfway down on the right and choose OK. -

The "My Safe" bit seems to be a Toshiba programme written by UPEK as part of the fingerprinting set-up on the Satellite 200. My Safe is an encrypted folder that is sitting on the desktop. The problem I had was that it no longer did anything when I double clicked it. The problem occurred after I went through the Norton de-install and then install routines. (I was trying to install Ghost but it would not install.
Then I found a Norton Protection suite which I never used had been installeed on my U200 when I bought it and I had to deinstall it before Ghost would install.) I think you were correct that Norton was the cause of the problem because it corrupted something in the UPEK programme.
After a little thrashing about I found that I could download the UPEK programme from Toshiba and I did that and re-installed the fingerprint stuff and My Safe then worked. your response did give me the heart to find the answer.

I encounter a problem with my templates that use After RANGE or BEFORE RANGE.
In Planning Application, there is no problem downloading the file that uses AFTER RANGE and BEFORE RANGE but in CONSOLIDATION Application I was unable to download or open the file with AFTER RANGE and BEFORE Range.
When I tried to open it, the Excel Program Hangs or Not Responding, then I must End Process to use the Microsoft Excel again.
Any suggestions?
thanksWhy don't you just put contents of ds_remote_schema.ldif from the IS6.0 install packages to your schema file, any ##name you want and tell installer to use preconfigured directory?! Up to IS6.0ea2 schema was a separate file.

Macbook air Wi Fi and sound stops every time it goes to sleep. i have to restart it every time to use wifi and sounds. this started happening just after the latest upgrade to OS X. any reasons why its doing that and how to fix it.
Test after taking each of the following steps. Back up all data before making any changes.
1. Make sure the network is on the preferred list by following these instructions. It's important to read the article carefully, as it's the starting point for any further efforts to solve the problem. If you skip any of the steps, the problem may not be solved.
2. Follow the instructions in this support article under the heading "Symptom: The network connection drops unexpectedly."
3. Make a note of all your settings for Wi-Fi in the Network preference pane, then delete the connection from the connection list and recreate it with the same settings. You do this by clicking the plus-sign icon below the connection list, and selecting Wi-Fi as the interface in the sheet that opens. Select Join other network from the Network Name menu, then select your network. Enter the password when prompted and save it in the keychain.
4. From the Location menu at the top of the Network preference pane, select Edit Locations. A sheet will drop down. Click the plus-sign button to create a new location. Give it any name you want. In the new location, set up the Wi-Fi service with the same settings you used before. Click Apply and test.
5. Launch the Keychain Access application. Search for and delete all AirPort network password items that refer to the network. Make a note of the password first.
6. In some cases, the problem has been resolved by repairing permissions on the startup volume.
7. Turn off Bluetooth and test.
8. Reinstall OS X.
