You are just seeing the small 'thumbnails' created for browsing the catalog. Most probably, your images have been moved, renamed or deleted outside of the organizer. If they have not been deleted, you'll have to search in your explorer/finder to see if they are somewhere on your computer. From the organizer, you can use the 'Information' panel on the right to see where the photos were before disappearing and other information such as 'date taken' which may help you to find them on your computer.
If you find the files elsewhere or renamed, there is hope to use the 'reconnect' function in the organizer.

Have you looked on all the pages of your iPod? Have you looked in all your folders? Have you you tried finding the apps using the iPod's search page.

I think it is 7.1.1 - there was another update today which I've uploaded but it didn't make any difference. It's just the music libary on the 5 that's causing me problems.

Also, is there an option of setting the document window and the Structure View to be synched? So that when I move in the document the correct element is highlighted in the Structure View?

Hi Russ and thanks for addressing the question. The element catalog did stay displayed until a few days ago. Now when I position the cursor (appears as black arrow) in the Structure View window and right-click the mouse the element catalog vanishes.
Regarding the non-synch document view and structure view windows, so far haven't experienced synched scrolling. When I scroll in the document view, the current cursor position is not reflected in the Structure View window (it stays static). Only when I select the text in the document view window does the Structure View window jump to that corresponding point/element.
Is there any place where these preferences are set?

iMovie on your Mac has nothing to do with iCloud storage. Download and use Find Any File to search for your iMovie project. FAF can search areas that Spotlight can't, like invisible folders, packages and system folders. If there a file with your file name on it anywhere on the hard drive FAF will find it.
Do you have Time Machine enabled backing up to an external HD? This situation is exactly what TM is good at. It makes hourly backups so you can go back to find and restore the missing file. All HDs crash at some time or another and having a good backup strategy is the only protection against that.

What iTunes files are on the phone's Memory Card?

I've searched extensivelyand tried everything to try to get my ROKR to connect as a source in iTunes with no avial. Does not connect as storage device and I cannot query the modem. Anyways, I can put the memory card in my camera and it can read the contents. I was inquiring to see what files itunes puts on the memory card in order to use the itunes on my phone. If got itunes on my computer and could easily drag the files to my camera and place back in my phone. If I could just put the necessary files in the itunes folder on the phones memory card. EXPLANATION
Catalog와 Controlfile이 모두 손상되었을 경우 full recovery를 수행할 수 있도록
하기 위해 oracle9i부터 Controlfile Autobackup이라는 New feature를 제공한다.
이 Feature가 활성화되면 RMAN은 자동으로 특정 형식(specific format)으로
controlfile을 backup한다 나중에 RMAN은 Recovery catalog를 access하지 않고도
이 backup을 인식할 수 있다. 이 형식은 "%F"라는 variable을 포함하는데
이 variable은 중요한 정보인 DATABASE ID를 포함하고 있다.
이것은 다음과 같은 CONFIGURE 명령을 사용하여 Turn-on 될 수 있다.

활성화시킨 후에 controlfile autobackup의 format을 변경할 수 있다. 그러나

Controlfile backup은 backup의 끝에서 수행된다.
그리고 이 backup piece name의 두번째 string은 dbid이다(4159396170)
Current controlfile이 database와 함께 손실되고 Recovery catalog도 손상되어
사용할 수 없게 되었을 때 controlfile autobackup이 controlfile을 restore하기
위해 사용될 수 있다. restore된 controlfile은 db를 mount하고 datafile들을
restore하기 위해 사용될 수 있다.
Controlfile autobackup을 이용하여 full recovery를 수행하기 위해서는 아래와
같은 과정을 수행하면 된다.
1. Target instance를 위한 new init.ora를 생성한다. backup이 있다면 이것을
사용할 수 있다.
2. Startup nomount your new instance.
3. RMAN은 시작하나 어떤 connect statement도 수행하지 않는다.
4. RMAN prompt상에서 DBID를 설정한다. 만약 DBID를 모르면 controlfile autobackup
의 이름으로부터 이것을 알 수 있다.
RMAN> set dbid=4159396170;
5. Dbid를 설정한 후에 nomount로 startup한 target instance에 connect한다.
RMAN> connect target /
6. 만약에 backup이 disk상에 있고 controlfile autobackup을 non-default location
으로 지정하였다면 파일을 다음과 같은 위치로 옮겨 놓는다
ON UNIX : ORACLE_HOME/dbs
ON WINDOWS: ORACLE_HOME/database
RMAN은 controlfile autobackup을 찾기 위해 위 directory를 검색한다.
만약 controlfile autobackup location을 바꾸지 않으면 위 directory안에
backup이 생성되게 된다.
만약에 backup이 tape에 있다면 restore시 channel과 device를 기술하기 위해서
run block을 사용해야 한다. database가 mount되어 있지 않기 때문에
default device와 channel을 설정할 수 없다.
RMAN> run { allocate channel c_1 type 'sbt_tape'
parms "ENV=(NB_ORA_SERV=rm-wgt)";
restore controlfile from autobackup;}
7. Restore the controlfile:
RMAN> restore controlfile from autobackup;
8. Mount the database from the restored controlfile:

9. Restore datafiles:

10. file들을 restore한 후에 recovery를 수행할 수 있다.
이때 current online redo log가 없고 또한 backup controlfile을 사용하기
때문에 incomplete recovery를 수행해야 한다. 이를 수행하기 위해서는
"UNTIL TIME"을 설정해야 하고 open시에는 resetlogs를 사용해야 한다.

BUT Dear Mohammed,
It is not working accordingly. what I did is :-
1. I switched off the AUTOBACKUP
2. Then I took whole database backup, that means it included File # 1
3. But according to above it is going to include autobackup of controlfile and spfile in the same backupset .
4. But when I asked it to restore controlfile from autobackup it said NO AUTOBACKUP FOUND.
COULD YOU PLEASE HELP ME ONCE AGAIN DEAR.
If it works accroding to above then it should have my Autobackup.

Here is an easy way to move your messages from Phone Memory to Memory Card or from Memory Card to Phone memory In Nokia models.
1- Install latest version of Nokia PC Suite and connect your set.
2- Open Nokia Communication Centre. (Select Phone Memory or Memory Card from which you want to move messages to other memory)
3- Select all messages in a single folder (Inbox/Sent Items or from My Folders) and click on file> export. This will create *.csv file.
4- Download NBU Explorer 1.8 from http://www.soft82.com/download/windows/nokia-nbuexplorer/ (You must have installed Windows Installer 3.1 and Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 to run NBU Explorer. You can easily download these from Microsoft Site,)
5- Open *.csv file in NBU Explorer and click File > Export All. (Your all messages will be exported as *.vmg files.)
6- Disconnect and connect your phone again in Nokia PC Suite.
7- Now set your target memory in your phone for messages.
8- Open Communication Centre and Select your desired folder then click on file > Import messages by selecting multiple messages *.vmg files. (You don’t have to import messages one by one but you can import all messages in a single folder at once)
9- And you have done it.
10- You can import *.csv list in Nokia PC Suite rather *.vmg files, but in this case, all the spaces (blank spaces) in your messages will be lost. All the text of your messages will be merged to a single line. So exporting via NBU Explorer is recommended.

You should have TimeMachine saving your work, YOU need to be doing Save As somewhere else as you work, you don't say what application and whether you have Lion 10.7 or later (10.8.4)

Firefox crashed while automatically downloadingthe latest version, and when I reopened it, it did not give me the option of restoring my lost tabs. Is there any way to recover them now?

I don't know what more details to offer. The browser crashed, all my open tabs were lost, and when I restarted Firefox, it did not give me the option of restoring the tabs. I really want them back. Is there any way to roll back and recover them?

That gripes me to no end, as well. You might think Mozilla could think this one through, at least to the point of realizing there should be a manual means to recover open tabs NOT restored automatically after a routine FireFox crash.
And if Mozilla cannot stabilize FireFox, it will keep losing users back to IE.
The epidemic of crashes seemed to begin when FireFox "improved" itself with the idea of running 3rd party plugins in a "container", which is still far from reliable. I must run SysInternals Process Explorer at least once per Windows session to keep FireFox from destroying itself.
Aside from FireFox being so unstable, Mozilla should show some concern for users and make the manual restore option very plain from the UI-- such as "RESTORE OPEN TABS LOST SINCE THE LAST (*&&!!! FIREFOX CRASH"
Presumably-- and that may presume too much-- Mozilla leaves the open tabs "log" in place during each update. If that record of open tabs remains untouched from update to update, then why does FireFox screw up, update after update, and routinely fail to recover all tabs?
You might think someone at Mozilla would realize something is wrong. I have let Mozilla "phone home" after each crash, and yet the problem continues.

Honestly, I don't think that they have any other way of accessing anything on the iPad than any other user has. The Apple Store genius will just put the device through the standard troubleshooting steps - in your case probably try to restore the device to factory settings and if that doesn't work, then they will make some sort of offer for a replacement assuming that your iPad is still under warranty.
If I'm not mistaken they will probably erase the device in order to try to "fix" it. That's what restoring to factory settings does. I assumed that you were concerned about losing data - but if you are concerned that they are going to see something that you don't want them to see or access, I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen.

Do you memeber the complete wording of the error message?
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
