Pictures Taken Not Stored

Anyone know how to have the Camera Roll folder on my iPhone store the photos I take and not crash to the iPhone default home menu when I click on it in the sunflower icon'd Photos menu?
Background:
I've been using I think it is Adobe Photos Starter Edition to upload my photos (is a default) but seemed hard to delete them. So next time I closed that default and I used from a pop-up (instead), when plug iPhone in, selected the microsoft default. Because of previous frustation I also checked the "delete photos after upload" (or whatever said) check box. (I should also note that before switching to the MS upload I also did go to my computer and the "drive" for the phone and tried to delete all the photos as well but it seemed to do it yet the pictures were there.)
when I had all photos uploaded using the MS upload and closed and went to take pictures and look at them the "camera roll" had empthy photos show up (numbering the count taken) and when I click on one the iPhone went back to the default menu (has if push hard "square" round button at bottom).
FUnny too. I said to myself why not use iTunes iPhone photos (which I did not kwnow existed (did I miss that tutorial?). So I did not "see" a restore default menu or dicrectory feature but did successfully download an existing self created folder... now maybe I will try the latest version after 1.1.1 or see it one of the default created upload albums can be forced back into the iPhone as a workeing "camera roll".

+PS I did try restarting the unit... Tradional type.
also I have tried to do a reset start I think was helpful before to unlock a "always on" iPhone. For that I did a dual button hold-down (I think I fixed a locked up "ON" iPhone but have not had the opportunity to do that yet... (won't let me; defaults to turning off red switch))
also I do not know if the iTunes main page for iPhone selection for "resetting the iPhone" (or what ever it is called) will erase my other data such as favorites so I don't want to do that.+ the phone is not THAT important.
Thanks to all that have at least read all of this. It is like a medical "unusual or special case" that you do usually not want as a patient but in this case it is not too big of a deal so sickly it seems kind of "neat" but I am sure that will wear off at the pool party I am going to tonight and want to snap some photos.

Close and restart Photoshop if you have not already done so.
In Photoshop, go to the Help - About Plug-in... menu then choose Camera Raw. What version does it say there?

Because the camera on iPad was designed to accommodate Facetime. By the numbers, tells you why. The rear facing camera is 1.3 Megapixel. The front facing camera is .7 Megapixel. In contrast, iPhone includes a 5 Megapixel camera and if you haven't looked at point and shoot or DLSR camera's these days, they all start at 10 Megapixel. The reality is, iPad camera was never intended to produce camera quality pictures. In bright light it can take an acceptable picture, but in less than bright light, it is marginal at best.

    1.    Photostream only syncs photos over Wi-Fi, make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi to begin with.
    2.    Photostream only syncs when the camera app is closed, ensure it is closed.
    3.    Photostream only syncs when the battery is above 20%, try recharging the device
Try disabling photo stream on your device (settings > iCloud), restarting your device and then re-enabling photo stream.
If this doesn't help you may need to reset photo stream. You can do this at icloud.com by clicking on your name in the top right corner and then the advanced settings in the pop-up dialogue box that appears.
Note: disabling photostream and re-enabling it will result in any photos that are currently in the photostream album on your device, that are older than 30 days old, not being added back.

I found the reason for this and the solution couldn't be simpler. The issue is compatability. So, search for icloud using Windows search on bottom left and right click on it. Go to properties>compatability>Windows 7>apply>ok. do the same for iCloud photos. Then sign out of icloud and sign back in. Presto! You'll notice it will be a lot quicker to load too. After a year trying to figure it out I stumbled on it....It's worked ever since

When you say "other Ipads" do you mean other iPad 2s or the New iPads. The New iPad has a 5 megapixel camera and will take better pictures. If you compared it to other Ipad 2s, check to make sure the camera lenses are clean are not covered. iPads come with clear plastic over the lens on the back for protection.

6220 camera pics not stored in gallery

Anybody who can help me troubleshoot this. The images folder is lost and all pictures taken by my Nokia 6220 is not stored even if I add an "Images" folder. Everytime I take pictures, the filename goes on and on but I can't find where those pictures are stored.

I am having this exact same problem.
I take a photo on my camera, go to the gallery where it should be saved and it shows as empty. I am also missing all my music files, sound files and videos and a while ago all my contacts disappeared too.
However, I have noticed that if I go through the menu to Settings > Data Mgr > File Mgr > Memory Card > Images, all my photos are stored there, as are the music files under 'attachments' and the videos under 'video clips'. So the files are there, they are just somehow hidden.
Any ideas why the gallery is not showing them?

Well if you don't have the laptop to get the storage drive out of it, and you don't have any previous backups how do you expect to get the photo's?
PhotoBooth is just a program, it stores the files on the computers storage drive, if the computer is lost so are your photo's.
There is nothing you can do to delete or retrieve them using your new computer unless you stored them online someplace.
DId you save them online? iDisk or something else?
I don't use such services because my data is mine and not theirs to snoop through, so if your looking for that sort of help I can't assist you any.

Sounds like vignetting, but you need to ask that on an iPad forum not the iPhoto for Mac one.

Does removing and reinserting your battery help? Is this happening when your BlackBerry Torch smartphone is in portrait view or does it happen in landscape view also? I have a business and am looking for an app that I can enter customer contact information and save a picture taken with my ipad the the contact. What is the best app for me?

I'd like to be able to enter the customers name, phone number and address and a picture taken with the ipad that I can restore to its original size (not like on the contacts where only a small picture is displayed).

I looked at Bento and at first glance I think it would do everything I want it to do, then I saw a review or something from a customer that indicated the information in Bento could not be exported (say to send out a mailing). I may want a program that can do that as well, is there one out there? If not it does look like Bento will work. When you save a picture to a customer in Bento can you open it up full size?

You could have more 5 computers authorized if you ever, for example, reformatted a hard drive or replaced a hard drive without deauthorizing the computer first. Apple's system would see that as a different computer, even though you don't. There's nothing to be afraid of in deauthorizing everything and the reauthorizing what you actually have. You won't lose any data. Mistimp is correct, they can't tell you which computers are authorized.
