Pictures won't display

When image placed in project, the video freezes as it reaches the picture.

Hopefully You know that
a Project - DO NOT contain any of the material used in the movie - there IS NO Movie/Video in Your Project just the instruction where to find the material and How to play it.
it is just a small TEXT-document - pointing to where the material s stored.
So if You then move or delete it - the Project dies.
So goes for
• Photos in folder or in iPhoto or on USB-Memory-stick or SD-Card - must stay put
• Audio - from iTunes or on Audio-CD or in folder
• Video - in iMovie Event's or in folder or on SD-Card
at least

.asp pictures won't display on Safari?

Hi, I cannot get my G4 ibook with Safari (up to date) to display any picture on a website that has .asp as it's ending. My G4 powerbook safari will display them fine on the same websites? I can't figure out the difference or how to get the ibook with safari to display them? The pictures are nothing fancy, just images of computer parts on a website. Why will my powerbook display them and not the ibook? They are both running 10.3.9 with the latest safari updates? Any help would be appreciated!

This is probably being caused by a bad system upgrade, please try to apply the Mac OS X 10.3.9 Combo Updater, available here:

Picture in Picture won't display in a preview of movie

I dragged a PNG file into the timeline and laid it over a background using Picture in Picture. It shows up in a special track with a blue box around it in the timeline. When I move the mouse over it, it previews correctly. If I play a preview with either play button (full screen or not) the picture I added doesn't show. Is this a bug or user error?

Same thing in iMovie '09 I just noticed. But it renders, so I guess who cares.

Picture won't display in web browser

Hi Everyone,
I have a website that I have created and I place a graphic in
.jpg and also .png format inside of a div tag on the left side of
my page template. When I go to view the web page everything else on
the page will display except for this graphic. I have Firefox and
IE7. Can anyone help me out with what may be the problem. I have

Project/Albums show as having pictures, but won't display the pictures.

I have a Project and it has two albums listed (indented) underneath it.
I have moved them around a bit to put them in different folders, and now the pictures won't display. By that I mean that if I mouse over the project, a popup (or flyover) says there are 129 versions, but no pictures show up in the browser window. Same thing for the album.
The files are referenced files and the files are still in the folder in the same location on my hard drive so I could delete and then re-import, but I'd lose my keywording, any other metadata tags (ratings), and my adjustments. I really don't want to lose those.
Any ideas?

Sometimes moving projects around can create invisible filters, check Frank Caggiano's User Tip: Images not appearing in browser, search filter is cleared
But your long loading time is suspicious: Have you imported any new images recently? Long loading times can be caused by a corrupted image or video in your library; then you need to identify the broken image and remove it.
Also can long loading result from a corrupted Aperture Library that needs fixing. DId you have a recent Aperture crash?
Have you already tried to repair or rebuild your Aperture Library? See:

[SOLVED] ePDFView won't display all pictures

I'm having some issues with my ePDFView PDF reader. There are alot of pictures it simply won't display. About 25% of the pictures (in average) in my PDF documents shows up as grey blocks with the same shape and size as the original picture. This is the case for external documents (made by others), and my own home cooked ones.

Hmm, indeed. I hadn't noticed that. It seems that even the upstream website is down. I mainly use zathura, but epdfview has been working fine whenever I do use it.

Private Photos App - pictures not displaying This app was working fine, then suddenly it won`t display any of the photos.

This app was working fine, then suddenly it won't display any of the photos. One day the photos were there, gone the next. It still shows how many photos are there but just shows a white screen. I can't export anything to the photo album. Adding photos to existing folders yields the same result, only white screen displayed. However, I can create new albums and add photos to those without issue. Does anybody know how to recover the "missing" photo" I was going to try reinstalling the app but it's no longer available in the iTunes App Store. Thanks, Tracy

1, you can't at the moment, though with iOS 5 in the Autumn, from http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html#photos :
Even organize your photos in albums — right on your device
2, by removing it from you synced from and re-syncing. Only photos taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera connection kit, or saved from emails/websites etc can be deleted directly on the iPad (either via the trashcan icon in the top right corner if viewing the photo in full screen, or via the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it in thumbnail view)
3, the location of the photos that you synced to the iPad should be listed on the iPad's Photos tab when connected to your computer's iTunes.
4, you can copy the photos from your iPad to your computer : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 . You should also be able to delete them from the iPad as part of the transfer process to your computer, and it's then your choice whether to add them to your sync photo list so as to copy them back to the iPad. Copying them to your computer would allow you to organise them into folders and therefore be able to sync them back into separate albums.
5, I don't use Dropbox either. There are some third-party browser apps in the iTunes App Store that allow you to download pages so that you can view them when offline e.g. Atomic Web (the whole page is saved within Atomic Web, it doesn't place a photo into the Photos app)
6, deleting content should help. If you remove an app from your iPad then you also remove the content that it's got on the iPad - so if you then decide to reinstall it back onto the iPad then you will need to manually add back any content that you want in it. None of the Apple built-in apps (including Photos) can be removed from the iPad

Cs3 preview looks good but won't display some pictures online.

There should be 10 plans listed with pics on each. I am only seeing 4 pics though all the plan names are there. Same result on 3 different computers. Are you seeing something different?

I just downloaded LR and uploaded pictures to edit. The pictures display on the bottom carousel, but when I click on a specific image I want to edit, it won't display on the main screen. Why is it doing that?

Can anyone advise on how to make the picture you select display on the main screen (Loupe view)?

ITunes won't play music and won't display some of my album art.

iTunes won't play music and won't display some of my album art. I'll click play but the song wont play and some of my album art doesnt appear anymore. When I go on iTunes music store non of the pictures will appear it will just be black where a picture should be. What can i do to fix all of this?????

Image with foreign characters in name won't display

I have an image on my drive whose name has foreign characters ("c�pia de frente.jpg"). To display the image my JSP reads the image name from the database and generates the following html:
<img src="../pictures/c�pia de frente.jpg">The page then displays a broken image icon for this image. Images in the same list which do not have foreign chars get displayed accurately. When I choose "show image.." in my browser I see that the image name has been rewritten into the following: c%C3%B3pia%20de%20frente.jpg. The rewriting that will display the image is instead c%F3pia%20de%20frente.jpg. I found the correct rewriting on another of my JSP where the image with the foreign chars actually gets displayed correctly although the code to generate the html is the same on both pages and looks something like this (simplified):

Thanks, but it doesn't seem necessary to replace foreign characters. It works without replacing in one place but not in another which is confusing. I think it is something with the enconding but can't see what the difference is between the working and non-working code. In both pages I have put <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">I'd greatly appreciate any more suggestions to solve this problem.

Images won't display on my webpages with Rapidweaver 5

For some reason I can't see any pictures on my website once it's published onto my website. The pictures won't load on my website. At first I thought that there was a conflict with my APPS because i have other APPS on my Mac too. So I've formatted my hard drive and restored my computer to factory default and reinstalled Rapidweaver from the app store before installing any other apps. So there was no other apps I've installed on my Mac. Rapidweaver with the first apps I've installed. I didn't even install any themes or add-ons and I was still having problems viewing my images on-line.
Well…still having the same issue regardless if I'm using a third party add-ons or from Rapidweaver. I have a Macbook Pro 2012. Everything is currently updated. I've checked updates for your softwares and plug-in. I've paid a lot of money buying themes and plug-ins. Over $200 buying themes and plug-ins before knowing that I can't view my pictures on-line. I'm a teacher. I have multiple domains. I was using Sandvox to design my websites before purchasing Rapidweaver.
Since I've purchased Rapidweaver Version 5.3.1. I've been testing your softwares on www.jwmien.uni.me and www.mien.uni.me. These two site are my test sites for RAPIDWEAVER.
Can you please help. I really don't want to flush $300 down the toilet. I bought RapidWeaver, Nick Cates Design themes for $99 and not to mention tons of plug-in such as Blocks, Stacks 2, collage and many more.
So I feel sick to my stomach because I can't see the view any images on my webpage using Rapidweaver. The picture on my computers are standard jpeg images. These jpeg images are taken from the same digital camera. I am able to view these jpeg format when I was using Sandvox to publish my website.
PLEASE! PLEASE HELP! Crying for help.

Photos won't display

I recently bought a refurbished 80g iPod classic. Everything appeared to be in working order except that photos won't display when clicked on. When I click on a photo the screen just goes black like the photo won't load. I don't really want to return it and go through all the warranty ordeals so if anyone knows how to fix this problem please let me know.

To create and populate a new library:
*Note this will give you a working library with the same film rolls and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.*
Move the iPhoto Library Folder to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library Folder on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual rolls to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library Folder on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

Iphoto won't display photo library

I recently upgraded to iPhoto 9.3.2 and to Mountain Lion on my iMac 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo.
I'm not 100% sure when this problem occured, but now, when I open iPhoto, it won't display any photos. All it shows is a note saying "To get started with iPhoto...etc"
I've tried the following so far:
- repair permissions
- disk repair
- holding down option command when opening iPhoto and choosing repair database and rebuild database (nothing happened on either occasion)
- tried launching earlier versions of iPhoto from my Time Machine back-up: 9.3.1; 9.3; 9.2.3. Got the same problem with each
- tried to import photos. Tried several different ones but always, iPhoto would hang on 'finishing import'
- tried rebuild library in iPhoto Library Manager but I get an error: An error occurred trying to open the database at /Users/MichaelSasha/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Database/apdb/Library.apdb (14)
I also have a Mac Mini and have successfully upgraded to iPhoto 9.3.2 & Mountain Lion and have no problems with photos. I accessed the Mac Mini from the iMac and copied across a photo and tried to import it on the iMac but got the 'finishing import' hanging issue
This is really puzzling me! I've exhausted all the options I can think of. Hoping someone out there has any suggestions.

Did you try restoring an earlier version of you iPhoto Library and see if it would open with iPhoto? If you have with no success then try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and check to see if the same problem persists. If you can create and run a new library then the problem lies with your current library. And, since you've tried all of the repair fixes the only option left is:
Start over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window.

This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

I have a 5th gen that won't display any video out

I have a 5th gen that won't display any video out. I've tried 2 different splitter cables out of the earphone jack. I've tried plugging the RCA cables into different colors on the tv. Thought it was just a problem with the cables until tonight when I got a Sonic Impact V55. Video won't display on it either. I have the TV setting to ask. After it asks and I say yes, I get a picture of an Ipod cable connector and a message saying: TV OUT
ENABLED Please Connect Video Accessory.
This message happens on both splitter cables and using the dock connection on the V55. I've restored, reset, nothing has helped.
I did see a couple of posts regarding the V55 and whether the 5th gen would work on it. Does anyone have a v55 that the ipods working with? Heck the box says it works with Ipod 5th gen.

Yes it does, on the 5th generation (pre-Classic) models, the video does indeed feed out the headphone jack (as well as out the dock connector on the bottom).
