Pim acces and application priority

Hi, First excuse my english i m french.
I m currently working on an application which have to acces to the event list of the user and get the alarm date in order to create a specific alarm. I got two main problemes :
1 - Everytime I open read the event list I got a message which ask me to confirm the fact that I try to read personnal information. I know that the solution is to signed my midlet in order to get a trusted midlet . Does somebody have a clear tutorial about the generic mechasim of midlet signning code.
2 - When the alarm date append, my specific alarm and the basic phone alarm of the telephone append together and the phone alarm seems to get a highest priority. Is there a solution to put an highest prority to my alarm or shut down the basic alarm.

How to acces and display datas storaged in cache for a SUP 2.0 workflow?

HI to all.
I have an application with a item menu which obtains data thought a online request. the result is shown is a listview.
My problem is when my BlackBerry has no conection ( offline scenario). When I select the menu item, I obtain an error.
How to acces and display datas storaged in cache for my MBO? I have read that I can use getMessageValueCollection in custom.js to access to my datas but once I get the datas, How can associate those datas to a Listview like a online request?? Do i have to develop my own screen in html or how?

I'm not entirely clear on what you mean by "cache" in this context. I'm going to assume that what you are really referring to is the contents of the workflow message, so correct me if I'm wrong. There is, in later releases, the ability to set an device-side request cache time so that if you issue an online request it'll store the results in an on-device cache and if you subsequently reissue the same online request with the same parameter values within that timeout period it'll get the data from the cache rather than going to the server, but my gut instinct is that this is not what you are referring to.
To access the data in the workflow message, you are correct, you would call getMessageValueCollection(). It will return an object hierarchy with objects defined in WorkflowMessage.js. Note that if your online request fails, the data won't magically appear in your workflow message.
To use the data in the workflow message to update a listview, feel free to examine the code in the listview widgets and in API.js. You can also create a custom listview as follows:

Change Application Priority

Is there any way that I can change the application priority to above normal programmatically.
Just like when you go to Windows Task Manager and change Priority to Above Normal. I want to do the same from my application.

setPriority() allows you to set the relative prioirty of the thread, before it is started.
Calling setPrioirty() on a running thread can result in:
1) The prioity changes, by the process priority (in task manager) does not change.
2) The prioirty does nto actually change.
3) A NullPointerException is thrown inside the library. Given it says your should not do this we can forgive it.
Setting the prioirty before the thread is start may provide the solution.
If not, You may need to restart the application.
i.e. Runtime.getRuntime().exec(" .. start /high java this.java.main ");

<b>System Events (Default)</b>
The event is passed to the application server, but does not trigger the PAI. If you have registered an event handler method in your ABAP program for the event (using the SET HANDLER statement), this method is executed on the application server.
Within the event handler method, you can use the static method SET_NEW_OK_CODE of the global class CL_GUI_CFW to set a function code and trigger the PAI event yourself. After the PAI has been processed, the PBO event of the next screen is triggered.
The advantage of using this technique is that the event handler method is executed automatically and there are no conflicts with the automatic input checks associated with the screen. The disadvantage is that the contents of the screen fields are not transported to the program, which means that obsolete values could appear on the next screen. You can work around this by using the SET_NEW_OK_CODE method to trigger field transport and the PAI event after the event handler has finished.
<b>Application Events</b>
The event is passed to the application server, and triggers the PAI. The function code that you pass contains an internal identifier. You do not have to evaluate this in your ABAP program. Instead, if you want to handle the event, you must include a method call in a PAI dialog module for the static method DISPATCH of the global class CL_GUI_CFW. If you have defined an event handler method in your ABAP program for the event (using the SET HANDLER statement), the DISPATCH method calls it. After the event handler has been processed, control returns to the PAI event after the DISPATCH statement and PAI processing continues.
The advantage of this is that you can specify yourself the point at which the event is handled, and the contents of the screen fields are transported to the application server beforehand. What is the difference between apps and applications?

I have an application that I've been running on my older Mac. Now that I have a new MacBook Pro, I have to reinstall new software that is compatible. When I go to the vendor website I see an application I can download or a link to the Mac App Store. Is an application different than an app? When should you download them from a vendor website and when should you go to the app store? Do apps end up in the Launchpad and an application in your Applications folder? I can't seem to find information on what is the distinction. Are they actually two different things? Any help would be appreciated.

No difference between apps and applications. If you download the app from the Apple AppsStore you have better security and a conveninet place to have all your downloads. Nothing wrong with downloading from a trusted developer though.
EDIT: Yes they will either wind up in your Download folder as a .dmg you will have to double-click on to install, or most app store apps will install to your Applications folder.

How to have one centeral management console for DB and Application server?

I want to know that, when i have Oracle 10g r2 and Application server 10.1.3.1 installed, how i can use that centeral management console?
is it some other application that i should install ?
or it is just some more configuration?

What you are looking for is called Grid Control.
You will need the Grid Control Agent installed on each server that has products from Oracle's technology stack installed (database, web server, app server, etc). You will also need install the Grid Control software and repository.

How to protect a PIM-SM network from unauthorized pim routers and multicast sources?

we're using pim sparse mode in a customer network with catalyst 2/3/4/6K switches, all multicast routers are redundant with pim dr running for access subnets. RPs are configured with anycast rp.
A) Is there any possiblity to prevent rogue pim routers/igmp queriers connected to host ports from getting connected to the legal pim routers and from getting involved in the local igmp traffic?
Maybe like DHCP Snooping used with DHCP. I read that in the latest Sup2T ios (http://www.cisco.com/c/dam/en/us/td/docs/switches/lan/catalyst6500/ios/15-2SY/config_guide/sup2T/15_2_sy_swcg_2T.pdf) there is a feature called 'ipv4 router guard' which does exactly what we're looking for:
'When configured, the Router Guard feature makes the specified port a host port only. The port is prevented from becoming a router port, even if a multicast router control packets are received. In addition, any control packets normally received from multicast routers, such as IGMP queries and PIM joins, will also be discarded by this filter.'
Afaik, PIM authentication isn't supported in current catalyst ios versions.
Using a normal port ACL is not an option in our case because of a management decision.
B) Is there any possibility to prevent (on a per-subnet basis) rogue sources from sending multicast streams to legal multicast-groups?
Maybe, can I configure a svi of a host subnet or a host port to drop any incoming multicast stream while still accepting IGMP and sending out legal multicast streams?
Using 'ip pim accept-register' command on the rp is not an option because we've tons of legal sources which would end in an very huge error-prone acl
Unfortunately, a normal ACL is not an option here, too.

We use two pim routers in each host subnet for redundancy, they elect the PIM DR.
Does pim passive mode work here?

The redundant topology exists when there is more than one PIM router forwarding multicast traffic to a single access domain. ip pim neighbor-filter maybe would work to prevent rogue pim routers to connect to the legal pim routers but wouldn't rogue pim routers still be able to manipulate the layer2 switch to send all igmp traffic to them and not to the legal pim routers?

Menu bar and application toolbar

is there a way to change item text on menu bar and application toolbar eg in business partner overview(T-Code fmcacov) i want to change text 'Business Partner" to "tax Payer" on both menu bar an application toolbar. i have tried the norma way of going to change the screen but when i am on the GUI status its not going to change mode even sfter entering the access key

Open the program and click on GOTO=>ATTRIBUTES.
Change the text to the heading which you want.
SAVE & ACTIVATE.
Regarding opening in change mode, the steps you have carried out are correct.
You need to comment the existing gui-status by placing cursor on that line & click delete.
Then click on INsert button and add new gui-status.

I want Firefox to open to my homepage every time after it crashes. I do not want it to return to the tabs and applications that caused the crash. I am willing to lose information. How do I do this?

Firefox crashes or seizes up when there are too many tabs and applications open, and causes my computer to crash or seize up. I use task manager to close Firefox or I restart my computer. Then, when Firefox restarts again, it automatically re-opens all the tabs and applications that caused the computer to seize or crash in first place. This is a waste of my time. I want Firefox to reopen to my homepage even if it crashes. I am willing to lose information to have Firefox reopen to a low-memory homepage. How do I do this?

Set the Integer pref browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes to 0 on the about:config page to get the about:sessionrestore page immediately with the first restart after a crash has occurred or the Task Manager was used to close Firefox.

I can not print from Firefox, but can from all other browsers and applications (such as MS Word, notepad, etc.). I get a print error on the printing monitor like it's a spooling problem.

This is a recent development but I can not print anything from within Firefox. The print functions open normally, it is going to the correct printer which works..I can print from other browsers and applications. It acts like it is spooling and then a print error occurs and it won't print. I closed and reopened Firefox, opened it in safe mode, cleaned out history/cache/cookies, and rebooted twice. Nothing makes any difference. Also tried printing from the print preview which had the same result. I can print from all other browsers and applications without a problem so it must be within Firefox.

I am writing a driver for a PCI card. I have found very good examples of how the driver should be build.
Where do I find the information about how the user mode application should be talking the driver.
So If you have any idea that will help me, please let me know.

You can use AP function call ioctl to Communicate with your device driver.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
iTunes and iCloud are different accounts. You can both use the same ID for the store login and share your music etc., and use different ID's to log in to iCloud, thereby keeping your calendars etc separate.
