Pin code not accepted in new IOS 7.0.2

Today I was asked to update my iPad to the new iOS - which I duly did. Then it asked me to put in a pin code for security. THis was OK and I put it in twice as requested - now what I thought was the code is not accepted and the Ipad is disabled.
Help!!!

I have never synched my iPad mini to a computer, and since I updated it to 7.0.2 a few weeks ago , it suddenly lost my passcode that I had provided.
After having tried to unlock my ipad a few times, it got disabled and now even when I try to restore, iTunes throws the following error.
"iTunes could not connect to the [device] because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the [device] before it can be used with iTunes."
HELP PLEASE.

If you didn't previously download the eBay app and have it still in a backup or somewhere, then you can't. The current version of the eBay app requires iOS 4.3 which will not run on a 2nd-generation iPod touch.

Do you have a new Apple ID to use in NZ? If not open iTunes Store. Log out of your old Apple ID, then try to login. Select Create Apple ID from the dialog that appears. Make a new Apple ID for NZ with a NZ email address. Once that is approved and verified, log into the iTunes Store with the new Apple ID. This should fix all other issues.

3. Tap View Apple ID;
4. Enter your user name and password;
5. Tap Country/Region;
6. Tap Change Country/Region;
7. Select the region where you will be located;

For a card to be accepted it needs to be registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and to have been issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are. Thank you for your reply but I sorted it out by turning my phone off and then on again and it seemed to update itself so I could put in the apple ID. However, it's really not easy to negate the iphone and change emails which is unavoidable sometimes. If anything like that happens again I now know that there is an icloud website at least. Anne

Sure, you can get around it if you don't need the newest version of iTunes. I still use version 7.5 because the newer versions didn't strike me as offering anything I needed.
If you do need a version 10-something then you will have to upgrade your operating system to Leopard (fi your computer will support it) at least. If you need 10.5 for some reason then there's no getting around it, you will have to buy a new computer.

Did you deal with your previous carrier and they agreed to unlock your iPhone? You got the inforamtion about restoring and then got the welcome message you were unlocked? Perhaps the sim you are trying to use is not valid, can you try another and see if that works?

Put your search terms in the combined URL and search bar at the top of the browser (exactly the same as you do in most modern desktop browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Explorer). There is no separate search box, just use the box where you enter web addresses.
And no, you cannot downgrade.

Updater does not accept my new password

I have changed my password yesterday as Adobe warned me to change it via email alert last week. Now I can log in to my account with my new password without any problem, but am not able to update any apps via Adobe updater. The updater does not accept my new passoword. As I say, I haven't done this in a long time, so not sure if it still works, but it's just the postcode that causes the problem. The Apple system doesn't appear to get upset that the billing address isn't strictly correct, as the card details still work for them to get your cash....... I think any UK postcode will work, it just happens that I used "GU" instead of "GY"......
