I have a bis contract on orange romania and i cant conect to bis,i
speeked to orange and they said my phone is regestred to bis in another
country and they cant mange my acount because of that,
Please can u help me because my bb is usless if my bis acount doesnt work!

I spoked with a provider,and they dont give a rats **bleep** about pin problems,they say the device is faulty,they dont even bother to chek,so unlike blackberry and rim,the acounts shouldnt be administrated by providers,problem like mine aren't only one case,they are a lot so if thei dont do somethig is their loss!!! "The device associated with this PIN and device id belongs to a different service provider" error is displayed when trying to create a new BlackBerry Internet Service account.

i've just read this article and wondered if there is cross platform support for SSL pinning for mobile apps (iOS and Android) developed with AIR ?
So far my Google research wasn't successful, therefore i ask here.
Maybe this feature could be supported by a native extension ?

6 digit PIN support

I have been informed that I will not be allowed connect my Pre to Exchange at work because the Pre does not support a 6-digit pin. Due to the lack of a 6-digit pin our I.T. says that the Pre does not support the full security implementation for Exchange. Windows Mobile and iPhone both support a 6-digit pin for Exchange so I am surprised at the omission on webOS.
Is there any hope that webOS will be patched to support a 6-digit pin or should I be shopping for a new phone that will be allowed to sync with my Exchange server at work?

Hmmm...I'll take that silence as a "yes, you should be shopping for a new phone" answer. Bought a used a Treo Pro two days ago and am all set up and running for the time being. I will hold onto the Pre for a bit to see if webOS is updated to support a 6-digit pin. Sigh...things should not be this hard.

ETA for PIN support for EAS on the PRE?

Is there an ETA for EAS support on the Pre? Many users are anxious to see this happen.

I Love The Map Support

Great Beta!
Would love to see KML/KMZ layer or pin support on map module. The I can see if images are out of place based on my Google Earth pin's which I can export from Google Earth, Import into LR4.
Also, when clicking on many images (orange button with a big number) metadata is = <mixed>. Would like to see this refect the image being show, and updating when going forward/backwards.
Color customize. e.g: year 20101=orange, 2008=blue, 2007=red...etc..etc. User config.
Seems really stable for a beta. Running 64bit.

I basically use LR for validation of metadata (keywords and GPS). While Geocoding is possible, via a plugin or nativitly, its not really possible to do 10's of thousands of images. I use a special app for this which wiorks very well.
In in current state, LR4 offers a interesting map feature, which good for managing small catalogs (a few thousand). In my case it would not provide me much in terms of my workflow.
I will try to give an example.
Catalog contains 100K images (mine in much larger)
Lets say we filter by the keyword 'Stadiums"
I'm presented with 15,000 images
I then move to my map view and see clusters of images on a map. They represent all the stadiums in USA.
What I need to do is zoom into each cluster and verify that the pictues are on top of satalite images of that stadium. Very slow.
If I had pins (and maybe rollover or click to see the text label) I could see various pins on a map and I would see the images always near a pin. If a set of images were nowhere near a pin, then I know something is out of place.
In Google Earth, you can organize pins into folders, and you can hide/display them by ticking and unticking a folder in "My Places". The same thing would be needed in LR4. So not all pins are displayed (Stadiums, shopping center's, parks, etc) and I could just select Stadium's to see stadium pins., for matching up with images.
When working with 100's of thousands of images, this would greatly speed up my workflow (validation).

Now I want to put two slots 1GB = 2GB
I searched and found problems of compatibility chipset P4M800CE (be careful exchange with P4M800).
My question is what memoryslot ddr are right for this mainboard?

IPod nano in iPhone dock

Hi,
My iPod shuffle developed flash problems, so the only thing it is good for at this point is as a 10% discount on a new iPod. However, I don't feel like shelling out $++ for a dock when I already have an iPhone 3G dock attached to my Mac. Has anyone tried docking a 4G nano in an iPhone 3G dock? They're the same generation w.r.t. the dock connector pinouts, so I think it should just come down to whether it is a physical match. I tried to test the theory out at an Apple Store, but everything was locked down too tight to reach.

That's great, getting info on two out of four unknowns is a good start. The fact that it fits at all was important; the fact that it charges means that whatever revision of the charging pinouts they're on -- plus or minus the slow death of FireWire pin support -- it's compatible.
I'm pretty sure my other two unknowns (whether it will sync, whether it will play through) will likely just work fine given the first two answers... although actual experience would be nice to hear about.

MSI 6340m V3 Instant Power On Madness

I'm trying to create the worlds cheapest PC by only getting bargains off of eBay. I've purchased a 630m v3 mATX off of ebay (£0.99- bargain) and got to the point yesterday where I coudld complete the build and power up for the first time. I attached the ATX power supply to the mobo and flicked the power on at the mains. The whole damn thing sprang into life immediately! Fortunately, everything was where it should be (including my fingers being well away from the fans that spun up).
Checking the manual this is, in fact, correct. The JWR1 connector (ATX 20-pin) supports 'instant power on function' which means that the system will boot up instantly when the power connector is inserted on the board.
So, I've trawled through the manual, the bios (briefly) and checked the jumpers. How on earth do I stop this from happening? At the moment, I have to flick the mains switch on and off instead of hitting the power button on the case. The only other thing I can think of is that the on/off switch isn't connected to the mobo correctly, but I've followed the manual to the letter.
Can anyone help?

I downloaded the manual. A very thorough manual, too. Did anyone know the pin definition for the PS connection, or the LPT port? Anyway, it sounds as if you can't disable this function. That is how I understand 'function'. But perhaps you might consider what is said under 2,9?

Im planning to buy a MSI K8N NEO4-F but my actual PSU doesnt have a native 24 pin support (im planning to use a 20 to 24 pin converter). Its a Nspire True Power 450W with 25A in the 12+ rail... my question is, that psu (with the adaptor) could be enoght for use with: 2 hard drives, 2 optical drives, 2x512 PC3200 sticks, geforce 6600GT or Radeon X850Pro????

450W with 25A in the 12+................meaning DC output 12v is 25A is it???? my power supply got two 12v, the first 12v is 15A and second one is 17A......like this enoght for my com (2x512MB PC3200, one SATA2 WD 250GB hard drive, geforce 6600GT)....is it enoght....some time i get the blue screen when i startup win xp some time no.....is it my power supply not enoght power....need change it......????
and 1 more question is that my hard drive is SATA2 and my mother is only support only SATA1.....i like this use is it will cause problem like blur screen???

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

Typically this indicates a device that has been hacked to be unlocked or jailbroken.
If that is the case, no support can be provided here.

Does the lightning to 30 pin adapter support audio?

I have an iPod touch 5th generation and can't listen to it in the car because the wire from the cars FM transmitter has a 30 pin connection. I was just wondering if the lightning to 30 pin adapter would support the audio.

When you connect an iPod or iPhone with the Lightning to 30-pin Adapter, the iPod or iPhone will be treated like an iPod that does not support iPod Out. You should still be able to navigate through and play your music using the vehicle's built-in user interface.

Have you contacted the dock manufacturer?
The adopter supports audio if the dock manufacturer says the dock supports the 5G iPod.
It may be that the dock does not work with iOS 6.x vie the 5G. Sometimes an iOS update will break compatibility.
