Pinnacle studio app ~ unable to get music from cloud
Hi, I just bought the pinnacle studio app and am unable to access my library through iCloud or directly. The app shows I only have 5 songs... Which of course I have 1000s in my cloud. I rebuilt the library and still only 5 songs available (my most recent purchases). I also bought the iCloud connection package along with the app... Can anyone tell me how to add music from my library, iCloud, to the video please? Many thanks.
To move your Music folder, use these instructions:
iTunes: Moving your iTunes Music folder.
If you can restore the old situation, start from there.
The 'iTunes Music folder location' is not the folder where your music is, but the folder where your imported and added music is stored.
The 'iTunes Library' file contains the links to the individual songs.
Moving the songs, without 'telling' iTunes, looses the links.
You must not move the library files. They have to be on your startup disk.

Why am i unable to get music from hard drive to play through itunes?
my music is stored on my external hard drive. after doing the lastest update of itunes and putting my music on to a new hard drive. (was on a lacie, now is on the maxtor one touch II) i am now unable to access my music. i have set the advanced preferences to the music folder on the external hard drive and have hit consolidate library under the advanced tab in itunes. neither of these seem to work.
i have put the new library files into the music folder on my hard drive as well.

i am unable to sync music from my computer to my iphone 4S i receive an error message stating that it requires 11.1 or later and that i need to go to the itunes website to download that, ive done that and still am unable to proceed.
Okay, you are using Windows 7. What version of iTunes do you have. Please don't tell me the most current one, go into Help then About iTunes and read what it says.

I am unable to delete music from my iPhone5 either directly or via PC. On the iPhone the tracks disappear when swiping left and deleting but the phone remains full and the data is still visible on the PC. The music was installed on the phone from the backup of a previous model but with the addition of new tracks I am now unable to add more or update to the next operating system as the phone is full. On my PC the music is still there and but the neither the delete function or any form of sorting/management on the music files is functional. Other Apple products work OK including previous phone, ipad.ipods etc Any advice/help available to get past this would be appreciated.
I think it is 7.1.1 - there was another update today which I've uploaded but it didn't make any difference. It's just the music libary on the 5 that's causing me problems.

- I would start with
Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
or
Removing and reinstalling iTunes and other software components for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
However, after your remove the Apple software components also remove the iCloud Control Panel via Windows Programs and Features app in the Window Control Panel. Then reinstall all the Apple software components
- Then do the other actions of:

- New cable and different USB port
- Run this and see if the results help with determine the cause

Can i get music from my itunes library (created with different computer) onto wife's ipod library (created using different computer)? Hope this makes sense
iTunes and Apple's devices work as an ecosystem. iTunes is designed to sync with Apple's products, not anyone else's. You'll need your songs in a format compatable with the Samsung phone and to use the software transfer program supplied/recommended. It is essentially not an Apple/iTunes problem. You may have better luck finding the information you need on Samsung's forums.

i use to just get music from any computer i plugged my ipod it... including whatever account... but lately im not allowed ... it says im already synced to another account... diid they change their policy? ... how do i fix this... i want to be connected to three accounts.... is that what home sharing is? will it enable me to get from all three?
When you delete items (movies, music, whatever) from your iTunes library the sync software automatically deletes those items from your iPod. The sync's goal is to make your iPod mirror your iTunes library.
When you use the "only sync checked items" it tells the software that <only> those items are to be on your iPod -it will delete other items from that category.
I don't have a video iPod to test with, but I think your only option is to sync everything you want onto your iPod, and then turn off sync completely, in favor of manual updates. -

Can't seem to make Migration Assistant work. Doesn't ask about or transfer files.I just migrated into a new MBP from an old one.
It did not bring the music over. Apple's instructions are to use the Home Sharing feature of iTunes.
Open iTunes on your old Mac. Select Home Sharing under the Advanced menu. Sign in. Do the same on your new computer. Then when the library appears under Home Sharing on the left-hand panel on your new computer's iTunes, you can select all and Add To Library.
That's what Apple says, anyway. -

For everything else (including purchases) there are a number of third party utilities that you can use to retrieve the music files and playlists from your iPod. I have tried bbut cannot seem to get music from my old ipod to my new ipod. I lost old one long ago and recently found it and much loved n' missed songs . I since replaced pc and saved no music . If your music was ripped from CDs, you will need to re-rip it to your iTunes library on your new computer. But if you bought your music from iTunes, they are still in iCloud, and you can redownload them at no cost. Sign in to the iTunes Store on your computer, then click on "Purchased" on the list on the right hand side. You'll see everything you have ever bought from iTunes in there, and anything that's not currently on your computer will have a little cloud with a downward pointing arrow in it. Click on the cloud symbol next to whatever you want to download, and it will download to your computer. Plug in your iPod and synch it, and you're done. Hope this helps!
